200907141614.jpgNot only will there be a panel with exclusive footage from New Moon introduced by castmembers at Comic-Con, but there will also be–

Summit Entertainment will be presenting “The Twilight Experience,” a one-time theatrical re-release of 2008’s Twilight, which will be a treat for Twilight fans as the event will include an introduction by the present cast members. The screening tickets are $10.00, and are available for purchase through Fandango only (with pick up at the theater prior to the event). The screening event will take place at the Pacific Gaslamp, 701 5th Avenue (a few blocks from the convention center), with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. (Note: only two tickets are allowed per person).

Other special events taking place at Comic-Con through Summit Entertainment (their booth being in the Grand Hall) are an opportunity to have a photo taken in an exclusive The Twilight Saga: New Moon photo booth, the chance to collect special edition trading cards for the film, and the opportunity to meet the CG-enhanced animated versions of classic characters brought to life in Astro Boy. There will also be a spin-wheel where fans can win promotional give-aways and exclusive prizes.

    Just got mine by going to Fandango website and searched on the title Twilight. Both New Moon and Twilight came up; I clicked on Twilight and the GasLamp theater showing came up. Clicked on 5:30pm and bought the ticket!

    What I heard (when screaming subsided) was hysterical, he was so taken aback he didn't know what to say half the time..... he couldn't even hear himslef think lol they were all assaulted, quite scary for them entertaining for us though.....

    I know!!

    All this hysteria around him, I'd be terrified!! I understand perfectly why he said in one of the interviews after CC, that "this is the sound that you hear at the gates of hell" lol

    And he was nervous too, I think it'll be different now though, even if they do scream again, after all he's got a over a year long "experience" in facing that hysteria... I hope he'll be allowed to say something coherently ;)

  • This is kind of cool. Yes I already have the DVD (obviously) but one of the actors will be there for it. And on top of that, it just adds to the whole day of New Moon. I am getting to Comic-Con at like 7 in the morning...and this would just end it just right. I cant wait...gonna go buy the tickets for the movie now if I can. I hope its Rob that is introducing it...but not sure how long he will be in town for.

    I bet they'll have to call the fire marshall to stop the fans from packing the theaters to dangerous levels to see Twilight together. Especially if they know Rob, Kristen, and Taylor are so close by. Maybe it will oppease some who can't get in to the Twilight room at the convention.

    Lots of people will all want to see Twilight in a theater. I see this as a very smart move by the promoters. It will probably have a small opening video before the movie starts with the Twilight stars saying "Hi. Go watch New Moon in Nov., Thanks"

    Yeah I can't find that page. I do all my translations the old fashioned way with a dictionary and a lexicon so basically I either already know how to say what I want to say or else spend hours trying to translate, which by that time the moment's usually gone.
