Robert pattinson comic-con The official schedule for Comic-Con 2009 in San Diego has finally been released, and Summit’s panel will take place on Thursday, July 23rd from 1:45 to 2:45 in Hall H. Here is the full rundown of what Summit will be presenting–

1:45-2:45 Summit Entertainment— Summit Entertainment presents a sneak peek of exclusive footage of some of its upcoming major film releases!

  • Astro boy—A classic superhero origin story set in a futuristic world, Astro Boy is an all-new CG-animated feature film about a young robot with incredible powers and his adventure-filled journey in search of his identity and destiny. Join Freddie Highmore and Kristen Bell as they premiere the final trailer for Astro Boy before it’s in theaters.
  • Sorority Row—When five sorority girls inadvertently cause the murder of one of their sisters in a prank gone wrong, they agree to keep the matter to themselves and never speak of it again, so they can get on with their lives. This proves easier said than done, when after graduation a mysterious killer goes after the five of them and anyone who knows their secret. Join the cast of Sorority Row as they debut footage from the film exclusive to Comic-Con 2009.
  • The Twilight Saga: New Moon—Summit Entertainment is proud to present the panel for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the highly anticipated sequel to last year’s box office smash Twilight. Surprise members of the cast will answer your questions about the second film in the series and debut never-before-seen footage from the new film.

Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart are all set to attend, barring scheduling conflicts.

The start time for our Comic-Con panel has moved up thirty minutes from 2:15pm to 1:45pm.

It will now last from 1:45pm-2:45pm. The date (July 23) and location (Hall H) remain the same.

  • you can still get tickets on e-bay, but it's legit I swear! Check it out, go to http://www.comic-con.org/cci/ click the link that says while supplies last and it takes you to their official e-bay seller sdcomic-con and they post some tickets every night at 7 PM PST they sell out with in 1 minute every night though so you have to be signed in to e-bay and quick on the keyboard. Thursday only are $35 each and 4 day passes are $85 each. They sell single passes and pairs of passes. They list about 10 singles, 10 pairs of each day everyday. If you don't win the first night you try, try again the next night. It took me 3 days to win, but I got my tickets and they weren't at supper high inflated prices and they are real.     It just means if one of their movie shoots suddenly gets in the way. Like the director wants them to shoot a certain more then they thought would, and they have stay and film that seen. Or if they just can't plain make like they expected too.

  • It just means that their appearance at Comic-Con is contingent on obligations that might arise between now and Comic-Con that would be more important than the CC event.

    For example, if Robert had to do emergency re-shoots for Remember Me on that date, he would probably have to make that his first priority and not show up at Comic-Con.

  • LOL! I can only speak for myself and my social anxiety. I cannot take an overly crowded room. It is one of the reasons, apart from CW's take on it, I did not see Twilight opening weekend. I doubt I will see New Moon opening weekend. I just get really anxious, and I want to crawl out of my skin.

    I just hope there aren't too many "what's it like to kiss a vampire teehee", "why are all of you so hot, nom nomers", or "SHOW ME YOUR AAAABS!" questions.

    Comic Con looks like a fun plac to go to. The most events I ever been to was Star Trek Conventions in San Francisco. They were pretty awesome. I got to meet most of the cast of Star Trek: TNG.

    I was fortunate enough to get tickets for Thursday's event hours before they sold out.
    To be honest, I am a little afraid to go because I do not want to be part of another Comic Con screamfest! And we all know how Rob feels about the screaming. Please! Everyone just needs to take a chill pill and stay calm and we will all have a great experience together!

    I was planning on getting there in the morning, but not camping out. Remember they don't clear out the panel rooms between each panel, so even if your in line early you may not be able to get into the room.
