Oh girl!!! You gotta check it out! It's a fanfic that is sooo well written and is pretty much the length of a full novel itself. It's written by angstgoddess003. You can google that sh*t and find the link to the story.
Some little warnings -
1. It's a fanfic, so the author takes liberties with the characters, but does it in a creative way that is really enjoyable. You won't mind that they aren't the Bella and Edward straight from Stephenie's books.
2. There are no vamps, werewolves, etc. Just human high school kids
3. It's kind of dark, and Edward and Bella have some serious issues
4. Edward says f*ck, all the f*cking time!
4. It's kind of (ok, A LOT) sexual in some chapters. However, it's done in a way that enhances the story and B+E's growing/changing relationship. You can skip these parts too if it makes you squirm.
But really, check it out if you have the chance! The writing is amazing! It's a pretty intense story!
