I can easily defend Jacob. I believe he is one of the more realistic, and human characters of the book. Did he do everything with nobility? Of course not. Neither did Bella or Edward. Jacob was stubborn, smug, LOYAL, protector, and he had more common sense than most of them put together. He IS the character to figure out the devil span wanted blood, while Bella was pregnant.

As for acting? I certainly do not believe that Rob is this amazing actor. In fact, while watching Twilight I was so distracted by his over-acting faces I couldn't stop laughing. But I certainly don't hate Rob. I like him!! For me, at least, when Taylor appeared on the screen I took notice. His little death stare to Edward at the prom, is what cemented me as a fan. It isn't based on looks, his character (although I love him as Jacob), or any thing of the sort. I think Taylor is good. Damn good in fact, and I can't wait until he proves himself in New Moon.

Although, for people like you, he could win an Oscar and still never be good enough.

I have another point to make with you on a previous post above. I dare you to look at wolf pack posts, and Robward/Vamp posts. Tell who you see bashing who?

I think people often forget that Jacob is a 16 year old teenager that is divulged into the mythical world and eventually transforms into a 25 yr old man but he has the same hormones and emotions as a 16 yr old and he develops into a leader while dealing with his best friend/first love's own dilemmas.

HOT men but particularly Jacob for his steadfast nature in always being
there for his best friend, even as she is breaking his heart...there is
something completely special in that constancy that I wish I saw more of in
my life. I guess that is why I rooted for him even knowing in the end Bella
and him were not meant to be :) and besides the obvious yummy factor, I
really love the rainy day Tay picture because for me it captures Jacob at
the soul of who he is-beautiful,strong and full of love, yet quite
vulnerable.

There are a lot of people here think that this pic is great. I don't see why people have to scrutinize every piece of megapixel (lol) on a picture.
