The lucky fan that was given Bella’s truck from Twilight by her parents is going to start renting the truck out, with proceeds going to charity–

“So I wanted to raise money for charity by having people have this truck at their events or taking pictures with it or making a grand entrance. People will pay to have a star of ‘Twilight’ be a part of their event.“

All the proceeds will go to Biegert’s favorite charities. And besides a date with the star himself, having this truck is the best piece of memorabilia she could ask for.

InStyle Magazine has a sneak peak at the interview and photoshoot that TaylorLautner did for the December issue.

There’s a new pic, and they reveals five things you didn’t know about Taylor:

1. He doesn’t have a Facebook orTwitter account, though he says plenty of people pose as him online.
2. He’s a major Red Bull fan and drank it throughout our shoot.
3. His favorite band, U2, is performing in Vancouver this summer, where he’ll be shooting Eclipse!
4. He can’t live without his leather jacket, so stylist Matthew Edelstein pulled this John Varvatos jacket for the shoot.
5. He drives a black BMW 5 series but is more into football than cars.

CNN has a new article where they explore aspects of Twilight fandom, and they’ve done their research: they admit that it’s not just tweens that are TwiHards:

Something about the “Twilight” series causes a thirst that can’t be quenched. Despite the fact that the next book in the saga is on hold and the next film, “New Moon,” won’t hit theaters until late November, fan conventions have been going strong all summer in cities across the nation.

And if you think it’s just the tween crowd behind this, think again.

TwiTour, a weekend-long celebration, sounds like it would be reminiscent of a high school pep rally: raucous cheering with scads of teenage girls. But while there was plenty of screaming at the July 12 TwiTour in Atlanta, there were also plenty of women and a sprinkling of men who were unashamed that they were way beyond high school.

“It’s the pure innocence of newfound love,” explained 36-year-old fan Kimberly Hunt, who’s not only read all four books, but also the 12 unfinished chapters of “Midnight Sun,” a novel from the view of main vampire Edward’s perspective, that are up on Stephanie Meyer’s Web site. “Chivalry’s dead, and you don’t see it anymore. It takes you back to the days of your first love.”
