New Moon star Robert Pattinson starred in the film The Haunted Airman in 2006. The movie is now available for pre-order on DVD for $14 and will be released October 13th.

NMM.org reader MelissaBlack shares this wonderful Etch-a-Sketch version of the New Moon book cover, and she says that–

I spent ages making this Etch A Sketch of my favorite book New Moon. (I’m a Team Jacob Fan) I was never really good at doing Etch A Sketches but I deceided to try out something that i take alot of interest in-twilight. I was really happy that I did it and it may not be that good but I am very proud of it and I just wanted to show you all it because I wanted to know what you think. I’m too scared to get rid of my Etch A Sketch now incase I can’t do it again!

We continue to receive many tips about the leaked Volturi mugshot pics that are posted on Filmshaft, Zap2It, PerezHilton, EmpireMovies, ShockTillYouDrop, TheHDRoom and many other websites.

Although we believe them to be the real deal and would love to post them, some of our blogging friends received lawyer letters from Summit demanding their removal after posting the pics. Therefore, we’ve chosen not to publish them until they are officially released.

We hope you understand, and appreciate all the emails about the pics!

Jackson Rathbone, who plays Jasper Hale, has granted one final wish to a dying young girl – giving her a behind the scenes tour of his band, 100 Monkeys, upcoming concert.

14 year old Dorothy is suffering from Terminal Cancer. And her last wish was to meet the rock group.  She’ll be backstage this Saturday at their Dallas, Texas concert.

Rathbone was quoted as saying -

We’re all very lucky people and helping others makes us who we are.”

In another new interview with New Moon-er Jamie Campbell Bower, gives the deets to MTV.com – There is a scene in the upcoming Twilight Saga – New Moon, in which the 3 Volturi Leaders are naked -

“We just all sit there, completely naked, for one scene,” revealed “New Moon” actor Jamie Campbell Bower, talking about a racy moment that was added into the upcoming film. “Yeah, it’s me, Michael Sheen and Christopher [Heyerdahl]; we just sit there, naked.”

“We’re just chilling out, just watching the game and having a Bud,” Bower laughed of the scene, which depicts Carlisle hanging with the Volturi back in the day. “No, that doesn’t sound right. I’m so British. I can’t say that stuff.”

In actuality, the scene has a fully clothed Carlisle visiting the Volturi in Italy, only to locate Aro, Caius and Marcus in a bathhouse. “It’s a full-body shot, and then Peter comes in, and it all gets a bit awkward,” Bower said. “[Carlisle] is clothed completely. They’re bathing in sort of a Roman bath kind of thing.”

As we reported earlier, Rachelle Lefevre will no longer be reprising her role as the evil Vampire, Victoria, in The Twilight Saga -Eclipse. Instead, Victoria will be played by none other than Bryce Dallas Howard.

We were given very little details as to how this came about, and the main reason being why?

Access Hollywood is now reporting that Rachelle Lefevre was “shocked” and “stunned” by what has happened -

“I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for ‘Eclipse,’” Rachelle said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

On Tuesday, Summit announced that Bryce Dallas Howard would be taking on the role in “Eclipse,” due in May 2010.

“I was fully committed to the ‘Twilight’ saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria,” Rachelle continued, explaining the turn of events that led to the casting change. “I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. My commitment to ‘Barney’s Version’ is only ten days. Summit picked up my option for ‘Eclipse.’ Although the production schedule for ‘Eclipse’ is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for ‘Eclipse,’ never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part.”

The star concluded her statement with a regretful tone.

“I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the ‘Twilight’ audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I’ve received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of ‘Eclipse’ only the very best,” she said.
