i think it rocks that alot of people are actually being nice to us east tennesseans and those of you who don't like the fact that we are getting the premier its just because your jealous and plus you are also mad because you can't buy the tickets off the net and your just mad about it i am going to the premier with my friends in a limo which is just going to be so awsome i love the fact that new moon is coming to knoxville,tn because thats my home town and thats like when october sky was shot here in knoxville and also other places but, the whole cool thing about it is when i got to meet the cast of that movie ...

Its going to be so hard to get tickets though, they only have so many for the public and the rest are for sponsor packages. We will have to get there like really early to make sure we get tickets. Because if I can't get them I still wanna see whoever comes out.

I live in Knoxville too! I have actually been trying to get a job at Pinnacle because I watch so many movies there, this is just all the more reason to get the job! One of my really good friend's dad is a head guy at the Knoxville Regal so I am going to try to get him to get his dad to pull some strings haha... Pinnacle is awesome and there have been stars come out for these events like, Brendan Fraiser, Dane Cook, Jessica Alba, Jessica Simpson, Johnny Knoxville (even though he is from Knoxville lol) Sean William Scott, Will Ferrell, etc... all of them have stars out front on the sidewalk... the tickets usually aren't more than $100 for these events for it should be affordable for any twilight fan haha... and it all goes to the Children's Hospital so that makes it all the more worth it... I hope all the stars come out for it that would be great... Maybe they will head to Bar Knox for the after party... glad I'm 23! lol

Okay, I have it planned out, and my Parents are amazing. My mom said that if I make all A's and B's this year, that she'll go camp out there for me to get tickets. If I continue to make good grades, then I can skip school for a couple of days and go camp out for the premiere. I am so excited. I think this is really great that they chose a smaller town to do this in, and it's truly a gift from God that is close to me and so many other Twilighters.

Regal Entertainment Group --the largest theater group in the country is based out of Knoxville. That's why we often get cool charity movie premieres here. Knoxville is actually a really cool university town--not the stereotypical southern city.

It's awesome news that Breaking Dawn will me made. Seeing that all the Directors for the first 3 movies will be in post-production, I think the best director to take charge of Breaking Dawn is Peter Jackson. I'm sure you all know who that is. He was the director who directed the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The trilogy was awesome. The effects they had in that movie was awesome. The computer generated animation was awesome. Peter Jackson definitely knows something about CGI work.

I live in Knoxville and my friends and I are planning to buy tickets to this if they are reasonably priced for the public. It's not nice of you guys to say "WTF - Why Knoxville?" -- The Pinnacle is one of the biggest theaters around, and it's for a charity. Many celebrities have come here to promote their movies and raise money for a good children's cause. Tennessee isn't just a bunch of redneck hicks who are unintelligent, so please hold your judgements. I hope some of you who are close can come and join in this great premiere!

I'm in Knoxville, too, and I thought it was a bit odd, but you have to remember Regal Cinemas is headquartered in Knoxville. They do an event like this every year, I've just never really cared about the movies they were showing before. I'm soooooo going to this 1 tho! ^_^

I didn't notice any comments dissing our city on this post yet and honestly my own first thought when I read this post was "WTF? Seriously?". Even though Pinnacle is massive and premieres have been held there before (I distinctly remember Jessica Alba being here for one of her movies a couple years ago), its still pretty unsual for us to have a premiere as huge as New Moon will be. That said, I'm super excited, shocked, but excited and really can't wait to get more details!

That wasn't my first impression. I have huge respect for TN because of Nashville and whatnot.

I just think it's an odd choice considering those early premieres tend to be NY or Hollywood. But if it's for a good cause then hey, have fun! :) Lucky ducks, you people are!
