Eye's on fire is one of my favourite tracks from the album, I really hope that New Moon doesn't go too mainstream with their music choices!

I really wouldn't mind some coldplay (fix you, the scientist, x&y ect. ect...) but I think that they definitely should use more unknown music for the soundtrack. But i agree about no jonas brothers.

Oh yeah! Yesterday before the performance they were explaining the routine and they say "He is supposed to be a vampire and she is supposed to be a human about to die"..... So I figure it out and then as soon as I heard the first beat of the song yesterday I knew Twilight was a total inspiration..... Love the performanceeeee.... that girl is amazing, the way she moves....amazing.... I guess Kristen could never do that hahahaha... and the guy, well it was ok but nothing in comparasion with R-Patz...... of course...... I was sooo excited to see this dance yesterday! I love the show and have watched it for the last few seasons. I have to say, this was one of my fave performances ever on that show! Right up there with Lacey/Kameron's routine by Mia Michaels ('Dancing' by Elisa song).

I watched this on tv last night and I was like omg, omg Twilight. My fam thought I had gone crazy til I explained its on the soundtrack.
The twilight soundtrack is the best soundtrack I have ever heard I just hope New Moon sticks to the same sort of music and doesnt go all pop. The worst possible scenario would be a soundtrack full of Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers.

I love this song, one of my favorites on the soundtrack, the choreography is very potent, and the dancers are both so, so strong and did a beautiful job. But I really do NOT like this dance, it does not fit with the song at all. The first verse is "I seek you out, filet you alive, one more word and you won't survive". It's very confrontational, threatening, controlling and overpowering, as we all know it's played when Bella is primed and ready to confront Edward and filet him alive for treating her the way he did the day before. Individually, every part of this is excellent, but as a whole it's a major letdown. Super glad the song got on the show though!

When it was playing on t.v I started freaking out and screaming. Eyes on Fire IS my favorite song on the twilight soundtrack. Twilight is an inspiration for all mediums of art. This dance just proves that twilight can be expressed in the most universal way besides singing and acting.

SYTYCD is my FAV show I was watching it with my bestfriend and when I heard Sonya say this was a vampire themed dance my eyes got huuuuge lol. I told him 10 bucks says she is going to use a song from Twilight. I was thinking Bella's Lullaby but then I heard it!!! The first second of the song I was on my feet screaming and I LOOOOOOVED IT!! Ugh Sonya's choragraphy + Twilight = Orgasmic lol

Oh and for those of you here who might not understand the style of dance it is contemporary so spastic is a huge part of it. Plus if you know Sonya's style she is very out there she likes to be different but it tells a story the guy is trying to drag the girl to the "darkside" and she is fighting to save his soul. I know the opp of twilight but that is where she got her insperation from.

Okay, I saw this on TV on Wednesday and seriously was I creeped out! At first, the choreographer said they were doing a dance about a vampire, a girl, and death. The very first thing that came in my mind was, "Twilight." Then, when they started dancing with the music, I was just staring at the TV with disbelief. There was just tooooo many coincidences. I was like, "The choreographer must be a Twilight fan. How could she have chosen to choreograph a dance about vampires AND use one of the songs from the Twilight soundtrack."

The dancing was amazing. As well as the costumes.

ok, so this was NOT an "interpretive" dance. The style is CONTEMPORARY. and was beautifully choreographed. As for the people referring to the choreography as "spastic", that's a major part of contemporary dance. Sonya always does amazing work, and Wednesday night was no exception. These are my favorite dancers on the show and they are AMAZING together, especially in their own style.

Kupono is my cousins brother in law!! This was his best performance yet!
