Taylor Lautner plays shapeshifter Jacob Black in New Moon, and his tribe’s wolf pack takes on a much greater role in New Moon compared to Twilight.

Last night at the Teen Choice Awards he explained and introduced the other cast members that will him this time around to make up his band of hot n’ hairy brothers–

“We’ve got Sam Uley, who leads the pack. We all follow him. He’s the alpha,” Lautner said, introducing us to his wingmen. “And then we’ve got Jared and Paul — Jared is a funny guy, a real jokester — and Bronson [Pelletier], who plays him, in real life is the same way, so he does that well. Paul is the hothead. He goes out with my girl, and I tear him to shreds. And then there’s Kiowa [Gordon] who plays Embry — he’s my best friend.”

  A seat filler at the Teen Choice Awards wrote up an extremely detailed account of her experience at the Teen Choice Awards last night. Among the revelations were a list of things she learned at the Teen Choice Awards–

1. Robert Pattinson is hilarious. (technically, I already knew that, but I was proven correct)
2. Nothing impresses Kristen Stewart (except for Robert Pattinson)
3. Taylor Lautner is bigger and has whiter teeth in person.
4. Nikki Reed loves Ellen Degeneres
5. Kellan Lutz is so huge that it’s almost scary

The seat filler, Sara, was also quite impressed with Robert Pattinson last night, of course!–

Catherine wouldn’t keep her hands off of Rob! She always had a hand on him! Either on his chest of his arm or his leg! Ew! Rob would not stop talking! The guy wouldn’t shut up! The only reason I know this is because I was watching him instead of the show. It sounds creepy, but I don’t care. He kept talking and talking and talking! Not only that, he was making jokes! Kristen and Taylor were cracking up at things he said. He laughed with them and, let me tell you, the world becomes a better place every time that man smiles.

According to HitFix.com a New Moon trailer tease will be released tomorrow -

The next film in the series is not out until November 20, but a brand new, full length theatrical trailer from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” will debut this Friday, exclusively with the Summit Entertainment August 14 release, “Bandslam.” To get tickets for “Bandslam” click here.

For fans who simply can’t wait for Friday, a 10 second tease of the new trailer will be airing nationwide, starting Tuesdaday, August 12th. This tease will debut Tuesday Morning PST according to Summit.  Click on the REMIND ME links on this page to send yourself an E-Mall alert regarding the preview.  HitFix should have the tease online by 8 AM PST/11 AM EST.

OME! I wonder how long it will be? Or if it will be the same as the ones shown at Comic Con. I hope not!

UPDATE: It has been reported on various fan sites that the New Moon trailer teaser will now be 14 seconds, instead of 10.  We’ll have to wait and see!

New Moon co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted leaving the LAX airport earlier today. I may point out, two separate sets of pictures. Where they on the same plane? I have no clue. Are they on there way to Vancouver? Your guess is as good as mine! But, more than likely!

Megan Fox and Robert Pattinson accepted the “Hottie Awards” at the Teen Choice Awards. After Megan Fox said her thing, she said she was going “shut up so you can all look at Robert Pattinson”.   

For his part, Robert Pattinson said–

Pattinson, who helped the “Twilight” crew win 11 awards on Sunday, took to the mic in his gracious and awkward manner to announce that if the fans think he’s hot, the feeling is mutual. “Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it,” he said. “I have to say that the hottest hottie, the hottest teens are the ‘Twilight’ fans. And thank you to Stephenie Meyer and the usuals.”
