I definitely agree with you. I wouldn't consider this type of magazine to be Nikki Reed's scene either, though. I dunno, I really respect Kristen Stewart. Granted, at times her attitude about this fame thing can be a little TOO obvious, but I always try to put myself in her shoes - if you didn't want to be that famous, and suddenly you were thrown into it with this much intensity...I can see how that could be a little disconcerting.

It probably wouldn't be her first choice for a mag, but I wonder how much say they have when Summit arranges publicity for the movie.

i agree, i think that she loves the acting business for the serious part. I mean she just loves the art of acting and movies and thats fantastic. there are some people who just love the movies for the publicity, the fame and the perks.. aka megan fox. haha. but i love how kristen is, shes so real and so down to earth and shes not stupid either. if you really watch her interviews and let the mumbling surpass, her answers are veryyyyy veryyyy intellectual. not some .. the movie is about vampires, her answers have real thought and real meaning behind them. She doesnt try to be perfect and doesnt try to be fake and i respect her for that. I know i could never step out into the camera unless i had makeup on, a nice dress and a big smile. Kristen can roll out of bed, have her hair messy and wear jeans and a tshirt and doesnt care that shes gonna have ten thousand cameras on her ( aka comic con). in the beg. when i first saw the youtube vids of the twilight promos, i thought she was so cute! and then i thought wow, after the movie, her & rob are good friends and it's evident they're comfortable together. yes, i saw some chemistry/attraction/sparkle whatever you want to call it. heck, they're both attractive! but i also saw the beginnings of sulleness and too much eye-roll from her. but i ignored it bc i thought they made a good pair.
THEN came on the full assault of a "is there, isn't there?" and that's when my attitude toward Kristen changed. I understand it's unpleasant to always be asked annoying questions and it's aggravating, but her behavior was starting to get on my nerves...THEN came CC.WOW, that was the eye-opener for me. She just didn't look like she wanted to be there @ all! and It was totally ridiculous! You're an actor and you can't act like you want to be there for your fans? well, that did it for me. SAY NO TO ROBSTEN (till I see the s*x tape) and I lost a bit of respect for KStew...

I love when people can understand I am not a hater bc of the issue/non-issue
of a possible Robsten, but bc I find her attitude and how she displays
herself when she's working unprofessional (and bc i have seen previous
interviews of when she was younger; she was very poised and answered very
well then so I disagree when people say she acts like that bc she is shy or
nervous). Nor, is it bc she's not girly-girl/pretty, likes to dress up, and

I think they just ask the actresses and then they just accept if they want to be photographed for the shoot. They have a choice. It's not like if it was mandatory like a New Moon shoot where all the stars have to attend. I'm sure they'll have that in the future and then you will see all of the stars. :)

I liked very much how they portrayed them in the movie. By now though, I think Kristen has had more acting lessons. since the first Twilight wasn't expected to be a major box office hit, I don't think that she did her best. Hopefully she'll be more convincing in the next films, especially now that she's more at ease with all the cast members. :)

Sure hope she's had some more lessons. I was very disappointed with her portrayal in Twilight!

I am not so sure about that just watching the current trailer. It doesn't appear her skills have improved. Robs was ruff in Twilight too, imo, but he looks like he improved or more like he is completely ignoring her sub-par acting and just holding the scene on his own. In Twilight it seemed to me like he was waiting on her half the time with her lines which relayed badly with his acting. He was not bad in H.Potter. I also have to give them both some credit they were not exactly working with the best written script. A good example is the lunch room scene. The most annoying part to me is when he asks her about her theories, EXCEPT no where before that is there any mention of her looking theories. I as a book reader understood perfectly what was going on , because I had read the book. If I had not read the book though I would have been lost and asked myself "what the hell are they talking about?"

I was thinking the same thing. She's another character of little to no importance that they keep pimping out/pushing on the fans. Im assuming Kristen wasnt feeling so photogenic with the whole mullet look she has going on, which is understandable, shes never seemed to have problems with photoshoots before, so i dont think she shys away from them, but there is a noticable difference in interviews, i guess shes a bit tired of it, also at CC she didnt look like she didnt want to be there, in my opinion, she just looked incredibly nervous, and anyone would be in that situation, all that attention is a lot to deal with, especially for a young girl, so it must be hard and i think its fair that she would like to keep the fame side of things seperate, shes said in the past she'd like to be like Jodie Foster, a respected actress who is in the public eye as little as possible, which i think if she continues to improve, she could pull off, i mean she seemed like a better actress in Adventureland, there was no stuttering or anything like that, so i think she did play that up a bit in Tw...ah im ranting, i cant seem to help myself, im a huge Ksten fan, love her!

I completely agree with you 'adopt me carlisle". She is only 19, shes quite mature for her age, but this is alot for her to handle and she hates the paps. They are always in her face. I think she is a brilliant actress, seen many of her movies. I think she portrayed bella perfectly. She gives nothing of her private life away good on her..I love her individuality, she can be casual one minute and simply stunning the next, just natural beauty. I love her smile and laugh..kstew and robsten yeh..

Ia, Twilight is a lot bigger than her previous projects aswel, so i can see why she would be more confident and outgoing in interviews for smaller films, because there isnt such intense attention and focus on her, i love Kstew regardless :D

I agree that she would hate it. But I disagree that she lacks confidence. I think she is one of the most confident people out there. This is just not her thing. Come on, Kristen as a CoverGirl? Just doesn't jive. I think she does better with looking edgy, like with the Vanity Fair and Nylon Magazine shoots. Kristen is not a supermodel, girly girl type person. So it would not make sense for her to do it.
