Blue October Rocks! The way that their lyrics inspire Stephanie Myers and connects with the New Moon storyline leaves me in awe. I hear that there is an Italy tour group inspired by New Moon called Noveljourneys and that the tour operators are huge Twilight/New Moon fans. Has anyone else heard about this? I am thinking about going for their October trip.

i like the song Hate Me. it does fit but i don't think that it is right for the movie. i see that Stephenie thinks a lot of Blue Octobers' songs work, which they do, but i don't think they have the right sound for the emotions.

I think you're right. The NM soundtrack will be 75% sadness, 20% best friendness/moving on, 5% happy. The proportions are equal to my personal feelings throughout the book.

The 'happy' percentage is pretty low only because after the reunion, my heart immediately aches for Jacob.

They are incredible.. they're so totally raw that they just make your heart freeze sometimes.. I've read some bad ones and some amazing ones.. but I think the beauty of a good song/poety is that it's really hard to compact such an intense human emotion into a little bit of words so when you someone does it well it's so amazing it almost hurts.. that's what good song lyrics do..

Picked back up, peeked at the end to see if Edward was there, then finished reading the book in shame for having cheated...

I still cry, no matter how many times I read it. Plus Rob said there's like 5 pages of dialog in the scene....

I did all of that ( I don't remember if I actually cried though) up until you say you peaked. I really, really, really had to force myself not to peak. It was tough. I just KNEW he had to come back and I prayed I didn't have to get to Eclipse for it to happen. It was a pleasant surprise when he did come back. It didn't happen the way I thought it would, so I should say it was a pleasant surprise when she went to get him. LOL.

Yes, it was very surprising how she ended up saving him and such. It was also amazing, how SM brought in the Volturi nito the series too.

that's my plan too. It took me a little more than 4 days to read them the first time. So I'm going to give myself a week. Since I know what happens, I won't have anxiety pulling me through them this time. And I can linger on my favorite parts.

wenever i read it, i always read d break up scene, nd the volturi scene, i just skip d werewolf bit. i just luv it wen dem 2 get bac 2gether. i luv d break scene, caus like u can actually feel wat bella's goin thru and its lke soo intense and emotional, nd den d make up scene is just so wow as well, caus it shows how much edward actually luvs her.

HA! The way she writes it just really grabs hold of you. You feel like it's you, not her that is going through it. I love the part where it is like "October, November, December..." It is soo neat! It's like, wow...she was really just nothing for months.

I completely agree with you cjean! Some people criticize SM for the way she wrote the Twilight series, but there is no denying the way her words grip the reader right in the heart.

New moon is my absolute favorite book of the series. The entire book was just so heartbreaking and I cried my eyes out at the break up scene. I thought there couldn't be anything worse than that... but then I flipped the page and just the months going by, marking time and nothing else... that was gut-wrenching! I was a wreck until the end of the book!

OME! Dallas was awesome! Kimberlina, "i love rob" a.k.a Gloria and I all met for the first time! Those girls rock, also Kim's sister Abby! TwiCon was awesome, a little unorganized, but i'm sure they will fix that as time progress! I got my picture taken with Kellan (he gave me a huge hug, he was so soft, just like a teddy bear), We went to 100 Monkeys concert, I got Jackson, and Alex authographs. Kim and her sister was with us everyday every step of the way (did i mention they are awesome) We went to lunch at the "press box" one of the days and Sam bradly & Marcus Foster (2 of Robs buddies came in)....later we went to see them again at meet and greet and they were joined by Bobby Long (who I took a picture with and totally fell in love with) hahaha Rob dont mind sharing....there was so much that happened, but it was all good...Peter is one funny man, not to mention Billy Burke is hawt!!!! I would so do this again, of course with the girls as well they made it all fun and exciting....wish u were there! :)

ahahah....I loved it in Dallas, the weather was good (while we were there, not too hot). Yes we went to the ball but we didnt stay long, we attempt to stalk Bobby Long, Sam Bradley and Marcus Foster (Rob's friends), We did witness a marriage proposal at the ball though, it was so cute and we danced a little. Yes we met the Hillywood cast and took pics with them too. They performed there dance at the ball, but I was busy salivating over Bobby Long so I didnt see. hehehe. Kaleb was there, but I didnt talk to him, but I did take pics with the guys from "Evil Iguana" that does the twilight spoofs. While I saw Christian, I didnt approach her, but she is even more gorgeous in person.
I had a blast....anything else, just ask. LOL

But what more can i say about them they we dont alredy know? That they are hotter in person? You bet they are!!!! LOL

But they were really sweat and gorgeous and friendly, while the TwiCon people were tell us no personal convo with the cast, or personal pix, or pics w/flashes, etc....the guys just ignored them and did whatever to accomodate us fans, they were truley awesome!
Jackson, refussed to sign autographs initially with his band because the manager was charging us all $20 and he said no. Later at his concert he told us all that he would be signing authographs with the 100 Monkeys and its free and he was also giving everyone a free cd. Of course the entire room was screaming with excitment from the news because we were disappointed from the earlier no show from him. He was totally AWESOME!!!! Gotta love our guys.
