I have to sound off for a minute, cuz you know me, I have to do that from time to time.

I absolutely adore this trailer. I loved that they gave us a sneak peak at everything, but didn't show us too much to ruin the movie.

The Edward and Bella kiss at the beginning. Absolute perfection. The chemistry is off the charts. I LOVE it.

I love the Jacob moments of where he is jumping around on the tree and then jumps in her window. Love the CGI there. And him jumping down from her window. Awesome.

I love the way Edward looks are polished and pretty and put together for the first trailer, which were beginning of movie scenes. And in this trailer, the couple of shots of him are of the Italy scenes and he is very distraught, hair all over the place. Love that.

I LOVE KRISTEN'S BELLA. She has definitely put on her game face in this movie. Love the emotion that she conveys, during the kiss, looking at Jacob, the break up scene, and so on. Bella is also more beautiful, but in a girl next door sort of way. I hated the way Bella looked in Twilight. Definitely a step up.

I love that they did not show too much of the Volturi or the reunion or the cliff diving scene. They were all quick flashes, which were good enough.

Paul growling at Bella was hilarious. Awesome.

Victoria flying through the air. Cool.

And most of all, love the overall look of the movie, the vibrant and warm colors.

And for those of you upset over Jacob and Bella looking too intimate. In the long run, why does it honestly matter. Everyone knows Bella ends up with Edward.

This movie is going to freaking rock.

Life is great. Robsten are so on, November is only a couple months away, and I'm sure we will get some Couve photos sooner or later.

it looks so much more mature than the look of twilight... if that makes sense? just from the appearance of it, you can tell that they had a bigger budget for this one. and i LOVE it.

NM 98 more days, YAY!! I Love the rich warm colors in NM. I looks SOOO much better than twilight and from the looks of it, they tried really hard to stay true to the book. At least better than Twilight did. At least your getting more in depth with the book and not just the surface. I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I was with Twilight (the Movie). Yeah, I liked that too. I actually liked the almost kiss, too. I don't know why everyone is freaking out over it. That happens in the book and I like that it was included in the movie. Kind of adds some tension.

me too. while reading some post's i was wondering why all this freaking out over the almost kiss. it's in the book and even if it wasen't. it's perfect. [ well perfect is my fave word today. LOL ]. and yes it does add the tension.

and the way bella looks. can't describe in words.

I (for obvious reasons) loved the almost kiss too, but I was also waaay into the Italy reunion B/E make-out (even tho it's not in the book).

I want the movie to be true to the book, but so much of the book is INTENSE emotions that can't necessarily be translated directly to the screen. I like how Chris keeps true to that feeling, but makes small changes to convey that intensity to all of us in a VISUAL way.

I could not stop shaking for several minutes, and I have accomplished nothing this afternoon, cause I keep replaying it, that's how excited I am!!! lol

Lol yeah, I know the passage perfectly, but believe it or not.. I never pictured Jacob actually kissing Bella. In my head, I pictured Jacob staring at Bella, bending his face toward her, and then while the phone is ringing, he's very close to her lips, but his don't touch hers, and then reaching the phone, he's still close, but doesn't kiss him..
I don't know if you see what I mean... but gosh, I truly never pictured a kiss between the two of them. I mean, I'm french, and neither in the french version, nor in the original one I imagined that. Plus, I thought I was proven right, because in Eclipse, Jacob says at the end of the 23th chapter "That should have been our first kiss. Better late than never" .. So I kinda figured that when he forced her the first time was their "first kiss" even though she's not really okay with it.. You see what I mean?
Well.. I can't believe I missed the point.

Well... I don't know.. I mean, it looks like she wants to kiss him back.. and it was not the impression I had reading the book..She's supposed to be frozen, not to be willing to kiss him back. I know, i'm pretty irritating and stubborn. When I watch the trailer, and I click on "pause" when he's about to kiss her, it looks like they're TRULY going to do it.. I don't know why this passage bugs me...

I think, in the trailer, it looks as if Bella is frozen, she is not positioning her head or leaning in as Jacob is. She is actually leaning backwards, away...

What is in the book? The kiss scene between Bella and Jacob? I really doubt that.. I read it like 7 times, and i'm pretty sure she always avoids to kiss him...

She begins to think to herself that Edward told her to move on and she starts to lean towards being with Jacob in that way when they are in the kitchen when Alice is in the house and Jacob leans towards her to kiss her and the phone rings...and it's Edward playing as Carlisle and she says to herself when he leans in) I haven't made that decision yet...or seomthing to that effect. No where in the book does he atually kiss her...not until Eclipse that I can recall anyway and I have read them all 7 times.

I agree with you all the way. I don't think they kissed. Jacob wholly intended on kissing Bella, but It still reads to me that they were leaning toward eachother and it seemed like they would have definitely kissed if the phone had not rang, etc.

I was so excited to see the pics from the Kings of Leon concert! They were definitely cuddled up next to each other. I can't really tell if they kissed - too dark in those pics. But it definitely seemed like the rest of the cast knew they wanted to be alone. Hopefully they won't get mad about those pics being taken. It's probably Summit that actually gets pissed.

Huge debacle.....the biggest paper in Tampa Bay ran a story on Friday on how we claim not to euthanize animals but we do. So tonight we had a public forum for people to come and address our board of directors. All the TV stations came and probably 200 people. Yup, what a first day!!! Me=danger magnet. lol. I said that to my bf and he was like "what??"
 
I share an office with my boss but it's roomy. There was a dog in there today - a hot dog one. lol.

Busy is better than boring! i will reply in the morning . . Was just super curious what kind of company you work for. . And i would probably forget to ask or would think that i did ask. . Lol.

It's the SPCA - Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. They rescue, shelter, rehabilitate, train and adopt out animals. But - some are put to sleep if they're in poor health and deemed unsafe to adopt.

I went to the SPCA the other day to make some donations from my puppy (his crate and some food he refuses to eat)..
I walked in there.. immediately wanted to adopt a dog (either a Smith -boy or a Lundy -girl)

lol - cute! I've been so sensitive this week....(but I am pmsing so that may be cause...) I keep almost crying multiple times a day when someone discusses a sad animal story at work. Even visiting the older dogs in the kennel is rough. Ugh, I don't know if I'm cut out for this job. I'm probably going to have a mental breakdown at some point. :-(

You'll get used to it.I was talking to the SPCA the other day, and they said that older dogs get adopted a lot more than people think. A lot of people open up their hearts to give dogs some great last months or years...They even have a "deal". Buy one dog, get the second half price (sounds horrid, but at least the dogs have eachother for the last bit).They also make a special deal with elders. THey get a discount if they buy an elder dog. A lot of people go for it :)
Yes, you cry now.. but imagine what it will be like when you see those sad stories turn around to happy ones. Where you see the scared dog flourish into a loving pet.As sad as some stories are, they have positive windows :) Just have to look for them!

I know - you're right. It's funny - I keep flip flopping whether I like the job every day. One day, I'm like 'yeah, this is good.' The next day I'm like 'ughhh I'm so quitting.'

Being sick sucks! I had some soup and am drinking some hot chocolate now :-) I slept all day yesterday. I don't know about Cold F/X --- I'm taking Mucinex right now - it seems to be helping and doesn't make you feel too groggy.

F your ex who said bdays are over-rated. That's a hell of a thing to say. I think I told u my bf bought me my laptop, so I can't complain :-) And the problem was he saw the trailer to The Time Traveler's Wife so he was like NO WAY! I have taken him to see a good number of chick flicks like The Notebook and he was a good sport. I definitely get to choose the next movie though. On the other hand, I like seeing girly movies with my gfs bc then it's much more enjoyable. He's NOT seeing New Moon with me - he'll just ruin it by making fun of it afterwards and then I'll probably cry or smack him. lol.

Well that's good you're okay with blood. Me - I'm Bella all the way. I had to have blood drawn for the first time ever about a year ago. I told myself I'd be okay about it, but I didn't watch the nurse. I just looked the other way. Well - I looked down when she accidentally pulled the needle out too soon. I saw one drop of blood coming from my arm. I started to feel really weird and said so to the nurse. A couple seconds later I slumped over and blacked out. However! There was no Edward to carry me anywhere. I felt like such a wimp. But also thought it was sorta funny.

In the books, I think Jacob is a lot more fun than Edward. I mean, I love Edward, but he is extremely serious. Bella seems to be a lot more light-hearted when she's around Jake (except obviously when she's in the depths of her depression). And Jacob didn't leave!!

I thought it was horrible what jake did when he remembered it, i was reading it today, and it made me feel sick. Edward new what he had done, and felt TERRIBLE about it. I just thought it was a low blow.

-following them behind their cars like when ed did that and bella ended up at angie's place
-house arrest by keeping them in their house
-and how these women were so easy to forgive them and ok it

Love makes people do idiotic things. Yes, Edward was more refined, but he had a lot more practice at it. He is not above it all, though. He disabled her truck when she wanted to leave, he left her w/o even communicating what he was so concerned about, he had his sister kidnap her. Hardly perfect.

None of them are. And in the end.. Jake always redeemed himself. Plus, all was forgiven in the end on both sides.

true,people(mostly just Summit) are forgetting what the main plotline of NM is,building a friendship with Jake is important but not the most important thing, NM is mainly about losing you true love and finding ways to deal with that(even if it's to no avail), not about having happy time with the wolf kid.
We have to be convinced Bella and Edward can't live without each other, we have to be convinced she suffers tremendously without him and only feels whole after getting to him in Italy. Most part of NM is Bella's inner monologue, so if people don't see her like really 'going crazy', feeling empty and torn apart but seeing her snuggling with the wolf every 2 minutes, they will not understand the connection between E and B.

I hope CW has done their love justice, we haven't seen that in Twilight, so it's harder for CW to show E/B are soulmates and all that stuff.

That's your interpretation of the book...so speak for yourself. Plenty of people do not have a problem seeing "the dog".

The books are for everyone's own interpretation. To me, New Moon SHOULD be more focused on Bella and Jacob's relationship because that is 90% of the book. However, I can see Bellatrix's point of view that it looks a little too romantic. But if we remember from the book itself, Jacob does pick her up and hug her, they almost kiss before the phone rings, and they have other intimate moments throughout.

We all need to wait to see the actual full length movie before making judgements.

The first trailer was all Edward and the Cullens. I was happy to see more Jacob and the wolfpack this time around.

I agree with you to a certain extent. I never really saw a love triangle. I saw Bella loving Jacob as a brother and/or best friend. She wasn't IN love with him, the way she is with Edward.

However, it is just a couple minute trailer, and they are going to hit the high points. It is not a true depiction of how the whole film is going to be. So I am hoping that they will show Bella's desperation and how distraught she is over Edward's absence.

It is only going to be a two hour movie, and I know that they cannot realistically convey the emotions that can only be properly conveyed in a book.

So, I guess my point is, let's wait until the movie comes out before we judge. We all thought Twilight was going to be awesome based on the trailer, and it ended up letting us down.

SWEET LORD. I watched the Trailer on a Rob site this morning and almost DIED! It did not matter one bit that I couldn't understand what they were saying. Just to see the full trailer was amazing. This movie is going to be PERFECT. Jacob in her room..her kissing Edward in the beginning (you can tell it's in Italy)...Also it looks like the team Jacob fans may have a score..in one scene it looked like Bella and Jacob were ready to kiss. All of this made my morning and will hold me over till we can see the rest.

BTW..a very clever way to get people to see that dumb Band movie with Vanessa or whatever by putting the New Moon Trailer in it lol. Because in all honesty..I did consider JUST going for the trailers for a sec LOL

I couldn't resist...I watched it....and OOOMMMGGGG!!!!! I couldn't understand it at all (of course) but seeing it just made me have 80 heart attacks at once! Just watching this video makes me contemplate seeing another movie on friday and just sneaking in to watch the trailer when it's time! Why must summit do this to us!!?? Nobody cares about bandslam! Just give us the trailer already!! They will make up the money they lost from bandslam when new moon comes out, so I don't know what they're worried about!!

Summit obviously knows that no one would go see that ridiculous movie unless there was something new about New Moon in it. No wonder they are freaking out and trying to keep it under wraps. I did resist, and I may be the only one. I am as big a Twilight Saga fan as anyone, I live and breathe this stuff, but I just couldn't. I dont' want it spoiled for me by bad quality and in a beautiful language that I just don't understand. Thankfully, someone will inevitably post it this weekend (when it comes out in the US) or maybe it will be released officially soon and I'll get to jump and squeal like the rest of you. Until then, I wouldn't dream of watching BS, and I just cannot ruin this trailer for myself. From everything you all are saying about it though, I'm finding hard to not give in. It sounds AMAZING!!!!!

I went to see Bandslam today but the trailer wasn't shown. I'm HOPING it's because it was just advanced screenings of Bandslam in the UK. Fingers crossed if I go again on Friday to see it, the trailer will be shown.

Just out of curiosity, how was the movie? I still vow to never in a million years watch it, but I'm wondering what someone with similar taste in books and movies as me thought of it.

I have a feeling it will not be showed in every bandslam theater (something to think about if u r paying for the movie just for the trailer). Think back to when we were all talking about the first trailer when it came out. Some of us got to see it when we saw Transformers, some didn't. Same thing happened with HP6 some saw it, some didn't.

Cool, I'm glad I'm not the only one! I just want to enjoy the delicious glimses of Edward without someone interupting with the whole "so the story is....." thing, I already know what happens! Just came on here, getting caught up. Does that mean that the "actual" trailer that will be shown in front of Bandslam in the US won't have the Taylor "explanation" thing? Is the explanation thing French-specific?

I don't know! Maybe they're saving the proper trailer (the one without Taylor talking) until nearer November, It's just really weird that it has commentary over the top, you don't usually get that with trailers unless it's not the final one. I don't know why they'd only have the explanation for the French fans though, so I doubt they'll remove it for the US or UK screening's of Bandslam. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up but the best trailer may still be to come! :-)

Ok but see that's why I'm wondering (I'm trying to play catch up with the comments) - on Friday, when it premieres with Bandslam in the US, is there still going to be the commentary by Tay? Or is that just an exclusive thing for French (and other countries) theaters?
