What were your reaction to the screening of New Moon with Stephenie Meyer yesterday?
You guys if you haven’t twittered yet, I saw New Moon yesterday. And I sat next to Stephenie Meyer. In a private theater that had like 10 seats. And I watched this gorgeous movie in front of me. And pound for pound I think you guys are gonna LLLLOOOOVVVVEEE it. I don’t anyone is not going to love it. I think it’s just a movie where everyone will love it. You know what my prediction is? There will be a whole new onslaught of twiguys. I think that’s actually the biggest recommendation that you can get. Cause we already know that we have all the female fans. I think with this movie that people will be…this movie is just damn good. Hey Bruno…yeah. I saw New Moon it was good you should go see it. And that’s what I think.

Sounds pretty amazing! If he thinks it will bring on more Twi Guys, it must be pretty wicked!

    She is a mom with small kids.. like most moms who take their kids to
    movies, we take our kids and then end up liking the movie
    ourselves...no reason to dog her tastes in movies when she obviously
    has a brilliant mind. That's all I'm saying :)

    and i love steph it was just a comment, she loved twilight and that detailed made even more excited and at the end i end up disappointed, that is why i am not trusting her judgement about movies

    I promised my husband I wouldnt tell anyone but he reciently started reading Twilight (I told him he couldn't B!&$# at it unless he read it) and while drunk the other night He admitting to likeing it. LOL I'm so happy! One more person I can rave about the series with...only it can't be around his friends. I guess a Closit TwiGuy is as close as I'm gona get.

    I agree. I would really like to know her opinion. However; she did like Twilight and I felt as though Twilight was not true to the book. From the clips I have seen of New Moon, I don't know how she would not approve.

    Also, I know she was on set a lot and had a copy of the script soo I am sure New Moon is fabulous! :)

    1) totally agree with you about twilight: wth was up with the meadow scene in the movie!? they were in a grotto. lol.
    2) New moon looks absolutely fantastic. it looks like it will be pretty accurate to the book, of course wtih a few adjustments for time purposes (although i admittedly dont think thats necesarry)
    3) why so grey scbella? get a nice pic!
    4) stephanie meyer probably loved the movie. i doubt she wouldnt NOT support it anyway if she DID dislike it. its not like her to be immature like that. plus she supported twilight and that wasnt fantastic... she might just be really busy at the mo, peeps :)

    I've decided i'm going to marry a twiguy. We will have a twilight wedding in the meadow. Then re-enact the whole of the breaking dawn honeymoon.

    We will also legally change our names to Edward and Bella Cullen and like in Forks afraid of the sun and then everytime we see dogs and puppies we will hiss at them as they will be the wolfs.

    On Christmas when pretend "Santa" comes he will be the Volturi, in his sleigh.

    I have a rather wild imagination. But i do want to marry a twiguy, as twiguys do it like Edward.

    As much as Stephenie thinks about and knows the characters. I wonder about all the stories that floated threw her mind. Like if the Cullens went on vacation somewhere - what did they do?

    And in her mind she knows what happens with Renesmee and Jacob.

    Obviously all of these she won't write but it'd be cool to know all the short stories. There's so many fun fanfic, but it's different coming from SM.

    Aww Sam. I feel like he is so misunderstood still by fans.

    There would be some hilarious bickering between Leah and Jacob.

    It would be so interesting to see who she ends up with. To see Leah "happy." When I see Leah's resentment I think of Rosalie a little. Because of things beyond her control her life was forever changed - and she's bitter as hell about it.

    Can Stephenie please get Leah a man - she needs some love too!

    But what you said is very true! Sam is the MOST misunderstood character of
    all the Pack people. When you look at it superficially it feels as if Sam
    has imprinted on Emily and that is it. End of Story. But according to me -
    Sam is still in love with Leah - because she was the natural love, his
    choice of love and not forced. Believe me I have nothing against Emily.
    (That is the worst part for me - I love both Emily and Leah AND i am a Sam
    girl) *sob*

    Leah needed to pair up with Jacob!!! TEAM BLACKWATER!! They were so suited
    to each other - healing each others' heart through the pain of theirs... But
    that itself is scary for me - Leah getting her own story - I LOVE her and I
    hate to see her being tossed away like that...

    Yeah I never thought of it that way, Jacob and Leah definitely could heal each others hurts. If Jacob imprinted on Leah believe it would make her more free to really love him - knowing that he couldn't be taken away as Sam was.

    I think at the very least Sam still cares deeply for Leah and she knows that deep down. Like Bella cares for Jacob but she will never love him like he wants her too.

    You def need to write a FanFic about this. I'll def read it.

    I almost just cried at the thought bc Jacob is so good about helping ppl
    through their pain & being their personal sun (i.e. Bella). But this time
    he'd end up with the girl. And as Leah works through her pain she doesn't
    have to worry bc Sam won't know her feelings & thoughts as they are now
    disconnected.

    I know, right? He would have been her support and and she would have been
    his. I think that this time Leah would have been the stronger of the two and
    would have helped Jake through his dark times of losing Bella...

    She would have told/shown him objectively what was wrong with Bella and how
    selfish she really was... (contrary to the popular belief of men in the
    Saga) She could have stood beside him and supported him - to break away from
    Cullens, to move away from Sam (*sob*). Both don't need to explain the
    difference in the lifestyle as both are shapeshifter....

    Yeah Leah could absolutely be his support because really he was "used" by
    Bella for months. She let him hold her hand, she let him hug her and hold
    her, joke around, share her feelings. Of course he'd become attached to her.


    And how bad it must of hurt when Edward came back and she ran back to him.
    After all the hurt and everything. I think a lot of fans have a hard time
    seeing why Jacob didn't like Edward. Some automatically think it was
    jealously. But we can see it was more than mere jealous - that he really
    cared for her/loved her and in a matter of a moment she's dropped him. -
    Like Leah loving Sam and he dropped her (involuntarily) in a matter of a
    moment.

    Yes and their lifestyles wouldn't have to be explained to Sue or Billy.

    Jake had the misfortune of being the sun and air etc etc for Bella. All
    Bella wanted was use Jake as a support to come out of the "dark days". She
    could never give her love to Jake entirely and neither she could cut him off
    from her life. Plus, does this bring a *little* bit of guilt to her?? NO...
    Ugh! I can go on and on abt her

    For Leah, not being able to hear Sam's mind was the plus point - but only in
    the beginning. Later on she saw for herself how good a leader Jake was. Plus
    I HATED the way SM made her menopausal... whats up with all the women and
    them being bitter or b!tchy or be obsessive abt kids???

    Why couldn't it be that as long as she shifted she didn't age, but if she
    chose to stop changing for a certain amount of time she would be able to
    have children. I believe in the book it said that if they stopped shifting
    they'd age - like the elders before them. So if they can age their bodies
    change and progress.

    I think Leah should be able to have to children if so choose. Jake and Leah
    could have little ones. And Seth would be an awesome uncle.

    On a side note- I was at a bar Thursday night (big surprise, i know) and saw this GIANT jeep with no doors... it looked like Kellan's jeep. I got SUPER excited and kept asking people at the bar if they've read Twilight. When one person finally said 'yes', I told her to look outside and check out the Jeep.

    Twiguys..ha ha my boyfriend absolutely hates Twilight and makes fun of me every second he gets BUT he was the one who got me the first three books to begin with and watches Twilight with me whenever i want so he makes up for it . Maybe when i drag him to the theater come November he'll go " babe that wasn't half bad" or something..lol

    OMg i was watching Extra on Tv just not and they showed The New Moon tariler without Taylor talking and it was in HD it was so good I was like "OMG00 LOOK!!" i my dad came running down stair yelling what happen lmao

    yeah, New Moon looks like it's gonna have alot more for the twi-guys. My husband liked Twilight, but says that New Moon looks much better.
