I hope Hana Pestle get on that soundtrack. She has a chance to be heard too. On the 28th of August she will be singing at the Twilight Over Portland event. There supposed to be guest stars from the film there. All the proceeds of the event go to a children's hospital. H ere is keeping fingers crossed.

Yeah, like everybody else has said.. if you listen to Life & Style, and all the other rag mags out there, these guys have had a busy few months! In Rag mag land... let's see.. first they were "SO ON!" after MTV movie awards.. then he left for NY, and demanded that she choose between him and the ex boyfriend before he got back to film New Moon, apparently he got impatient and hooked up with his co-star on Remember Me, Kristen was devastated and decided to fight for her man by wearing a sundress.. she gets him back over Comic Con weekend only for him to dump her and have her go back to the ex boyfriend, and only a week later, they're so back on. Oh yeah, and somewhere in the midst of all that, she was pregnant. Let's not forget that somewhere in there, Kristen Dunst got thrown into the mix, and now I'm reading articles where Rob's afraid Taylor's moving in on Kristen!!

An amazing song! Fits every scene, where Bella's depression is involved. It has those major and minor tones that give you an impression of loosing your mind. It's not actually the leading song material fot mainstream media, but no one really said that Radiohead would be representing New Moon. :)

I would love to hear this song in New Moon. However, I don't think that it would fit for the break up scene with Edward or Bella's zombie phase right after. For those scenes I would like to here something slower and a song that can rip out your heart and stomp on it. That song for me would be Need by Hana Pestle. I think that this could be a really awesome song for the break up scene between Bella and Jacob. Really wish Need would be in New Moon!!!!!

Love it!!! I seriously think this song is pretty perfect for New Moon, it's spacey and dark with a hint of mild hysteria to it.

I think it could fit into quite a few scenes, the main ones I think of when listening to this are the cliff/drowning scenes or when she has gone to the meadow, broken down after the whole Laurent, Wolves encounter and is running through the forest.

I know it hasn't got many lyrics but I don't think that's necessary for New Moon as I think that the book is more about atmospheres and emotions rather then words, it's more thought provoking.

I've been trying to say the same thing, but either it's not coming out right, or nobody else really agrees with me.

I don't mind at all if they promote the relationship between J/B as a friendship. Because that's all I ever saw it as (from her perspective at least).. does she love him.. sure. I loved my best friend (who was a guy) too, but I never loved loved him in such a way that it ached if he wasn't with me.

And I like Taylor, but it seems like he's being told what to say all the time, and he keeps calling it a love triangle, and it's irritating people. Either promote it as a triangle and include all 3 people involved, or promote their friendship and go with the 2 (Kristen and Taylor) and save the triangle angle for Eclipse.

I think the people who are saying they don't like it are not understanding it. The song starts in a very long intro because they want you to get into Bellas state of mind. It's spooky, mest up and jumbled up. Like she can't think staright. Very mellow and hollow as if she has lost EVERYTHING. Which she justh has.

The Lyrics then describe what she wants and how she feels she wants him back because she can't live without him. I think it's perfect. They will obvious cut it and put in the parts where he is singing.

You need to listen to it and UNDERSTAND it to actually get why it's like this. Then you will see that it's perfect. Remember Chris does know what he is doing.

I was a Kristen fan before Twilight, and have always felt mad love for her. But I really hate when people start saying negative things about her just because of her "friendship" with Rob. Looking for flaws not only in her appereance, but in her character as well as her performance, just to convince themselves that she is unworthy of his attention. That is so unfair. And though I am always the first to come to her defense, I don't think I should have to. If people could stop being so jealous, and start emberacing the beautiful, talented person that she is, they will be able to see her like I do. Kristen is a tremendous actress, if you don't believe me just watch "The Safety of Objects" (her first movie when she was only 10 years old). She is not in this for the fame, but for the love of acting, for the love of the arts. To me Kristen is not a trend that will end the minute the Twilight fever dies down. She has captivated me with her work as well as with her beautiful soul. You can count me in as one of her supporters!!!

I agree Rob, is very in tune with his character. I think a lot of people don't really want to hear Edwards perspective considering that it's quite dark in a lot of ways. In Twilight Rob talked a lot about "midnight sun" and how it helped him identify the place that Edward was in mentally. Edward has a vulnerable spirit. I've always kind of felt bad that a lot of people didn't really recognize this in him. He feels like a monster for loving Bella and he ultimately knows that he will change her and he feel really Bad about taking her human experiences. It's very masochistic...Robert often talks about this darker side, but the interviewers only want to hear his response to being the object of young girls imaginations...

I never got that impression that he doesn't want it. He wants it, why not. He is just more critical and he is analysing his role more. He will never say that his character is amazing or whatever, he just doesn't do that.

Well, they don't normally use whole songs in movies, they might use just a tad of the instrumental and more of the words. In Twilight, Eyes on Fire they just used the instrumental, not the words.

Funny story before I tell you about my song pics... Don't know if you know what Zumba is, but it's this fun dance/aerobic exercise to latin and some hip-hop music. Anyway, some people have just "got it" with the hips and all. Well....sadly enough I am not one of those people. ;o) I was telling my friend, "I'm definitely getting the coordination, but still can't get the hip movement." She said, "Do you watch Dancing With the Stars and how they help them out with their hip action?" I said "Yeah..I wonder who I'd want from there helping me out." She responeded, "Max.....no Taylor Lautner." It was hilarious! My friends know me so well with me having even alluded to that at all. ;o)

Okay..here we go...NM soundrack you say? Well, seeing some of the ones that were already posted I'm sure my picks won't really fit in and will get the eye roll from a few. These are just a few that really stood out to me from what I heard on YouTube, iTunes, Rhapsody...
Here goes (for what it's worth):
Love Daughtry with "Over You" and "It's Not Over." I get such a picture in my head of where I think those songs would fit and always envision it when I hear them. For the Jake/Bella relationship I love Leona Lewis' "Better in Time" and the Sugababes "Mended by You." Definitely need "The Reason" by Hoobastank. There's also this beautiful instrumental piece (which would be for the score) but it's called "Time Forgets" by Yiruma. I see that as being played as Edward meets Bella at her car after school, says they need to talk, and start walking towards the forest. Listen to it if you get a chance..it's on YouTube. And...the one that has just stuck with me from the first time I heard it months back..I know people will probably laugh..but Justin Guarini's "I Can't Live." That song is the whole part of Edward going to Italy..knowing he can't live without Bella. I think the lyrics fit so well and that he captured the intensity of their relationship and how he really felt about Bella.

So, there it is in a nutshell...Hope I didn't bore you too much. ;o) Thanks for asking my thoughts!

I thought it had a good feel for the movie. While I was listening to it I was thinking of Edward being gone. I thought it would be a perfect to actually show her walking around like a Zombie, its not like you can just put up empty pages " October, November, December, January" like in the book. I'm picturing a kinda dream sequence showing her not functioning through this time (with this song playing). After all if they went from finding her in the woods to the chapter "Waking up" it wouldn't portray her anguish, she'd just look like a flighty teenager who'd get over her first boyfriend (we know she's not, but some crazy people didnt read the books).
Anyway I think a dark song like this would be perfect for that part, can't very well have cheery songs for miserable themed scenes

I turned it off before that and then thought I'd better listen to the lyrics but still... ugh! NO!!! The intro felt like a few out of tune guitars playing the wrong notes all bound together by a beat that so didn't feel Twisaga to me. I rarely hate a song but hate is what I feel towards it!

I can see it fitting into NM. The bloody long intro could be a background to Bella's tortured introspection when she's living a half-life after Eddiepuss departs: lifelessly going through daily rituals (home, school) but not being a part of anything. People casting pitiful/worried glances at her would take it to another level.

And of course, the opening lyrics do complement it. It's like she knows he's gone but she's hoping he'll change his mind and come back.

Radiohead is awesome. One of my all-time fave bands. 15 Step was a great track in the closing credits of Twilight and I think this would be a great addition to NM. It's really mood music and that's what the intro does: it sets the mood. I know it starts off a little more beat-y than people would expect but then it mellows and if you think about it, you really can picture it as a background to Bella's life right after Edward leaves.

You know, I was wondering (since I'm into SumSH!T conspiracy theories) if perhaps they convinced her to do that silly Bandlsam movie by bargaining the role of Leah in the process. She confirmed, I believe, that she auditioned for it and Summit is taking a rather long time to confirm the Clearwaters, which is suspicious, especially considering Eclipse begins filming soon and Seth and Leah are gonna be pretty visual early on.

I know they are trying to stay true to the book by using real NA actors and actresses for the Quileute roles but this is Summit we're dealing with. I wouldn't put it past them to cast V.Hudg in the hopes that they'll draw the Disney crowd to Twilight, especially if Zac is gonna be at her side like the little puppy that he is.

I used to like flying I've been overseas and lots of other places on it, but 9-11 kind of killed my love for flying.. I still force myself b/c otherwise I won't get to see my family. but I basically white-knuckle the sides of the seat and figure out how to efficiently contruct a parachute every time I'm convinced the plane is flying somewhat to close to a building or perhaps the pilot fell asleep at the front.. or the turbulence starts shaking the plane.
