So, well, that's exactly what I think.. but some people agree with me, but others tell me it is in black and white (i guess it's that expression) .. So I'm seriously lost. We may have interpreted it in different ways, but still.. in my head there's no kiss.. and I really hope I'm right, I really hope S. Meyer didn't picture a kiss x)

And for the trailer, you know all the lines, almost at least, are already out. There's nothing new. And for what Taylor says, it's really no big deal.. just says that New Moon is kinda more complicated, he's saving Bella, he's a real friend for her... not something we don't already know :)

But you are right, or at least I think our interpretations are right and the same. I don't think they kissed. No where does it say and then his lips touched Bella's. Jacob and Bella did not kiss unitl Eclipse when he forcefully kissed her, and then she hit him and hurt her hand. The almost kiss is hot and definitely adds electricity to the moment. I can't wait until November!

i didn't understand a freakin' word that they said, even though i learn French - but thats what you get if you hate your teacher and wont listen to her.

Still, FREAKIN' HELL. This may sound babyish, but i had a tear in my eye! The vultori, the kiss at the beginning with E/B. They both looked like they didn't have there shirts on!

The wolf pack! *wolf whistle* man they are fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine, but not as good as our vampires.

The Volturi! Victoria! it looked amazing. I didn't like the hug in the bedroom. But i know thats as intimate that they are going to get. I can't wait to see Jacob/Taylor in the movie, as so far he looks to have done a bloody fantastic job. But the ending with Volturi i ave to say is the bit i want to see the most.

Had I not read the book, I would think Bella moved on pretty quickly after the break-up, fell in love again, Jacob kissed her (???), then she found Edward again (why would she do that?) and then there was some kind of vampire royalty involved. I would hate Bella for being so undecided and torturing everyone she loves.
I NEED TO SEE HER SUFFER!!! And give me some more Edward or Alice! They make up to 1/3 of the book. Are they not important enough?

Edward was the love of Bella's life, and when he left her she believed him when he said it was forever. I think after so many months of depression and suffering she saw Jake as a chance to be normal and feel whole again. SM described it that way several times...that Bella knew Jake was good for her and was desperate to feel something, anything, again. If Alice hadn't come back, Bella probably would have begun a full-fledged relationship with Jacob, as she was on the brink of kissing him before she saw Carlisle's car.

Shame Edward just didn't seem like the love of her life in the first movie.

Wonder what Weitz did to convince me he is before he leaves her.

I agree with that....I saw Twilight first and then read the book and realized how their INTENSITY towards each other was definitely not translated in the movie.

It's hard to believe, but not everyone who'll go see the movie has read the books.....both readers and non-readers alike will have to see that intensity, or her mourning(for lack of a better word) and months of depression won't be believable at ALL.

I hope we see depressed Bella,I mean really depressed,especially at the beginning and then her struggling to live and trying to feel something again but finding it really hard to achieve, not just 'oh my bf dumped me, sniff sniff I'm sad, hey Jake wanna make out? come let's snuggle snuggle'

I got irritated with her a bunch of times how she did things, treated people.. but you know overall she's just a normal girl who didn't have any intention of hurting anyone.

Yeah, she just seemed to enjoy Jake's company so much, even after Edward came back, that she couldn't stay away....and then admits in Eclipse that she loved him( a passage, I might ad, that I didn't care for...it seemed....forced? I don't know *shrugs*)
I've been friends with guys before who were crushing on me, and wanted to stay friends even though I was not interested, but I made sure that I wasn't touchy-feely in any way so as not to give false hope. But, I suppose, if Bella had done that it would have hindered the whole "love triangle" thing.

That's my point. Kristen was constantly saying: "Bella matures, Bella grows up..." It looks like more like a child in a candystore to me: "Give me this! Now give me this! Wait, give that back!"

And about that chemistry - E/B has that, J/B doesn't. That's obvious. But the relationship with Jacob reminds me one with Edward in Twilight (the movie). Awkward and shy love. SO not good.

But, after watching the sneak peeks from Comic Con and this trailer - we have decided that we will probably be screaming like little girls too! :-)

I just watched the little bit where she looks like she kisses Jacob and saw that, they just don't match at all. Edward and Bella have pale skin and then fit like a jigsaw when they were about to kiss she looked lost and his was too brown for her.

Actually, I won't let my daughter read them... since she's 5 years old!! :) My kids are 5 and 3... so its more Playhouse Disney and Veggie Tales for them!!

Poor Kristen's nose is smushed!! That doesn't look very comfortable.. Rob does a great job of looking in pain while kissing... (cause you know her smell burns Edward's throat)

Yes, one day I will have my kids read these.. they are great literature and good place to talk about issues. But not until high school. I think this is too much for them before that. And I think kids are having to grow up too quickly these days.. they know too much too soon. I want my kids to enjoy childhood... not craving to be 21 and then trying the rest of their life to stay 21....

Like both versions but really don't like that there is a suggestion that Bella and Jacob are a couple when they're not. Bella doesn't feel that way about Jacob and it's misleading.

I know most of us hate CH round here, but you gotta be grateful to her for casting Rob and Kristen... Twilight would not have been even a quater as good as it was without them, and nor would NM, E or BD.

I don't HATE her. I just really do not like how she did Twilight. I know her heart was in the right place and she casted the perfect people to be in it. But I feel that she made HER version of Twilight instead of the fan's version. CW has made a fan version, which is the big difference.

I totally agree. I don't *hate* CH.. I didn't like her interpretation of Twilight. I actually watched the movie before I read any of the books.. (I refused for the longest time, but finally caved in on a LONG road trip and had nothing to do, so I stole my daughter's ipod and watched it) The first thought I had was "woah... that was a rush of crazy hectic" Even without knowing the books, I felt the movie was just off somehow. Then I started hearing more about CH, and watched her do interviews and stuff and it started making sense. Then I read the books and I was even more disappointed with her version of the movie.
I have high hopes for Weitz though. :) He's said over and over again that he's trying to keep it true to the book and what the fans want out of the story. Love that man!

Yep I don't hate her either. I think she focused way to much on her little additives. Like the whole owl wings behind Edward or the armadillo thing.

Chris seems to just get it. I think it's realistic to say the movie and books aren't going to be an exact match, but the important fundamentals need to be there. When you completely redo important scenes it isn't giving the book justice. While part of that is the writer's issue, it's also the director's job to say hey this isn't right.

I'm thankful for Twilight because I hadn't read the books till I seen the movie, which was only so see what all the hoopla was about.

I love New moon because of the break up and torture, Bella become dellusional and all that good stuff. The book show how she suffered and barely alive after Edward left..
And then when they finally reunite...that's why it so strong.

though the book made it up for me bcoz of edward's sweet return in the end part.. when i saw edward's name on the later chapters, i had to fast-read through the whole middle chapters and when i finally got to his part, OH. MY. GOD. happiness. hehehe

edwad's reunion with bella was priceless. defintely a sweet one. and then the rest of it was about the two of them and i was happy again. hehehe =)

Ok so did Kristen Stewart and her boyfriend break up? I mean yes I would love to believe that Robsten are together... but wasn't she with that one guy for like 4 or 5 years, and they were even seen together while she started filming New Moon in Vancouver. If Rob and Kristen really are together (which I don't know that they are, but hope so) then why do they deny it constantly all the time. I think (my opinion) that they are denying it because Summit has it in their contracts that the castmates cannot date....I think once they are done filming BD, if they are in fact together they will no longer try and hide it. However they are both very personal people so I don't think they will come out with an official statement that they are together but we will start seeing more of them out and about together....

This was almost perfect. And I tell you why. They showed us a little glimpse of everything without showing us too much. We got a glimpse of the Volturi, the wolf pack, the cliff diving scene, Victoria, Jacob and Bella, Bella and Edward, Edward looking mad, Jacob looking mad, Italy, etc.

But they were quick flashes which did not ruin the movie for me. Loved it, and now I don't want to see anymore until November.

to me it was like Jacob trailer,too much of him,not enough of anything else.

I think it's open to interpretation the way SM wrote it. Bella was confused about wanting it, though she loved him at the time... but SM never described much of anything about how close, facial expressions, etc. It just said his hand was on her face and he was bending. Who knows how close it was? Maybe they *were* a hair-breadth away from kissing. Either way, I think it's good CW did it that way.. gives J/B fans happy feelings and clearly shows it can easily go that way. And for the non-book readers I think they'll get it when she runs off to Italy to save Edward.

right i just re-watched it and i think it's the Italy scene, but inside. So they might kiss twice, they might kiss outside which the pictures from Italy have shown us or they might kiss in side which the trailer has shown us or because we are the best fans in the world and CW is the best directer and K and R love each other so much they are using both for the film.

Either way the kiss is hotter then the sun. scorching infact.

For some reason, the only scene in Twilight where I felt their chemistry was hawt was the bedroom kiss.

But this movie looks like they really went for it and did not hold anything back.

This is all speculation, but during the making of New Moon was when Robsten started progressing as a couple and getting closer. So I'm sure the scenes are going to be hotter.

Thats the only thing I didn't like about the movie Twilight is they left a ton of stuff out and it was very different from how the book was. This movie seems to go right along with the book, at least from what I've seen so far. Ugh hurry up and get here November!

Yes i agree... most of the scenes in twilight where different from the book... CW did a great job ;) I don't like the fact that they didn't show alice past in twilight and how she became a vampire... they will show rosalie's and jasper's in eclipse....

Yeah I know. I wish that they had shown that as well. I hope CW decides to do Breaking Dawn as well, but who knows. They might bring in a totally new director, yet again. I think he would be really good at it because it's going to be a romantic, yet intense movie. Hopefully David Slade does a good job with Eclipse. I'm crossing my fingers on that one. Hope they stick extremely close to the story line as well
