Look at LotR, it's a very complex trilogy with so many characters and details, but they managed to make ONE movie for each book.
It can be done, with good script. I would rather have one good, long and compact movie than 2 or 3.

Actually,BD is HUGE !
There is no possible way it can be distilled effectively in only one movie,even if it lasts for 3hrs.
And it will be tiresome if it lasts longer,like 4hrs or so.
Why rushing it in just one movie?
2 movies shot back to back-for the actors not to grow older,with all the imporatnt details in and I'm more than fine.
There are SO much that need to be in and if my wish comes true and have Mr.Weitz to direct at least the first part,he can write the screenplay too-he's also a writer.

I don't believe that, also that site is often wrong...and look at the cast they named for BD, Bryce and Xavier.
I think that site is looking for hits because you can't copy text, they blocked it.

Also no one confirmed that there's going to be BD, of course they're probably going to film it, but I doubt that some random site knows information about 3 movies.
Anyway it would be too much, there's not enough material for that many movies. I even think that one long movie is going to be enough!
And I doubt that they could hold on to the actors for that long.

I don't know, I kinda had an idea that they'll make in from one general view.
They said they're doing something similar for Eclipse. So maybe they can do it completely for BD.
I just think it could be a bit strange if we have Bella's point of view, then switching to Jacob and then Bella again...but who knows.
Yeah, BD needs a lot of tweeking, even though I like the book I think it has faults..and we really, really need a good script. I just hope M.R. doesn't screw up!

Well, we've seen from her writing in the show "Dexter" that she really can write. I just hope that she has a clear idea of bringing BD to life. I really good director is crucial, too.

My dream is to have BD be a lot like A Midsummer Night Dream but don't know if they could really pull that off. (I've seen a Midsummer Night Dream butchered, too, so I'm not real optimistic that could be done with BD.

Anyway, I do want to see BD brought to life and I hope they do it justice!

I personally even like Melissa. But anyone can mess this up, and if studio is rushing her it could be bad.
She was rushing with Twilight because of the writers strike. And then they were rushed throughout filming.

I've seen "A midsummer night dream" only in theatre as a play once. I know that there's one relatevely new version but I haven't seen it.

That's what I'm hoping, they should just think about one good movie and not be greedy and just doing it all for money.
And I also think that it would be good if there were two sreenwriters. For LotR Peter Jackson worked with two more I think.
And a good director of course, it would be cool if they managed to get some big name, which I doubt. Or if Chris came back, but I think he'll be doing production or post production for his next movie..but we'll see. :)

I've seen Midsummer Night Dream on stage and it was brilliant! Of course, it was written by Shakespere! On the other hand, I saw a film adaptation that was set in the modern times and I definately thought it suffered in the translation.

I think 2 screenwriters could be a good idea. A bit of cooperation might benefit the script.

What do you think of the possibility of Ron Howard directing? Might not be as far-fetched an idea as we once thought! I think some of his movies are really awesome...and I think he would work closely with Stephenie, too. of course, I don't know if he would work with Summit, but if he likes the Twilight Saga and it's franchise...

Haha yeah, I feel bad for reading it only once....a loooong time ago. I'll have to read it again or at least see that movie, I Imdb-ed it, it has Kevin Kline in it...I love him lol.
But my favourite Shakespere piece is Much ado about nothing and the movie is briliant! This doesn't have anything to do with BD, but I just thought I'd mention it lol.

About Howard, I don't know...I don't know even where that rumor came from. I mean if the only reason is that his daughter is in Eclipse then it really is far fetched. But I don't think he would do it...I don't know. He is a great director and a serious one...but I don't know if they can afford him. Also he has 9 projects in development listed on his Imdb page. I'm still holding my breath for Chris Weitz...which is kinda ridiculous because MN still isn't out, haha but he is just so calming and makes you believe him. It's incredible haha.

I don't think that it is because of the synchronization that it takes as long before being shown in Germany. In other european countries the movie will also be synchronized like in France, and it will be shown much earlier. It depends surely on the distribution company, which is another in Germany than in some other european countries.

I am glad that I am living in a country to see it first. ;-)
