So I am definately loving David Slade for his current efforts at PR. He is very wise for knowing that the best way to our hearts is 1.) Literary Accuracy and 2.) Frequent (official) updates with visuals. So in the current absence of information on the former, I am very pleased to accept the latter. Don't you agree?

I am grand today, thanks for asking! I don't have a case of the Monday's and, despite all my playing around on here, I'm getting quite a bit of work done! And yourself?

I'm doing quite well, thanks. Been reading quite a bit. Working through Ted Dekker's series "Black" "Red" and "White" and just picked up Anne Rice's "Interview with a Vampire." And speaking of Vampire's watched F. F. Coppola's "Dracula" with Keanu Reeves, Anthony Hopkins, and Gary Oldham. Brilliant film. Add to that Tim Burton's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" "Babylon AD" and "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" and those are what I've seen lately. And yesterday was absolutely beautiful so I played a long game of Tennis with my wife and just spent a lot of time outdoors.

Oh, how is Mr. Dekker's book coming along? And is this the first time you've read "Interview with a Vampire"? An excellent read- I haven't read it since high school, though. One of these days I'll have time to pick up a book and read for leisure again. I don't think I've seen, or heard, of this F.F. Coppola's "Dracula"!!! A vamp movie with those three greats, how could I have missed it?! Glad to hear the weather on your side of the hemisphere is a lot prettier than it is here (which is odd). On August 31, we hit an all time low of 47 degrees F in my state. A 40 degree drop from 7 days ago!

Dracula was from '92 which may account for you missing it. The special effects and general visuals are, while good for the time, substandard as far as today's measurements go, but that was nearly twenty years ago. The directing and storyline are spectacular though. Dekker's book is going great. I read "Black" years ago, but never got around to finishing the series. I grabbed the rest up at a bookstore over the weekend and started over. I'm about five chapters into the first at the moment. Ever read it?

Hmmm, that Dracula movie would explain a lot- as I was 6 in '92, LOL. I'm surprised I haven't come across it in my post-adolescent years. Especially since I've been looking for Vampire fixes between Twilight- and Dracula is a CLASSIC. I haven't read any of Dekker's books, but my roommate has them and she finds them intriguing. So, I've seen them lying on the coffee table once or twice but haven't had the opportunity to read any.

Poor girl is on vacation...damn, why do the best posts always pop up when we're not around?? I can't believe she's missing her man here...DANG!!
