And speaking of that, I'm not getting the feel of "Forks, WA" with the sun and light. :/

Well to break it to people who don't live in Washington or have never been to Forks.... its not ALWAYS dark and rainy. haha. Lots of people think that Forks is like one of those towns that gets like 10 days of sun a year. When i was just in Forks a couple weeks ago it was 83 degrees and very sunny. But then the next day it was 59 degrees and cloudy. They kind of over did the whole "dark & rainy" thing in Twilight. I can remember like 2 scenes with sun. The thing people say in Washington is "if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes.." because our weather is unpredictable! There is more sun and light in Forks than the movies and Stephenie Meyer portray! :)

I got the Twilight one hubby rolled his eyes and that was the end of it. I told him about the New Moon Calendar coming out for 2010 and that I am going to get it. He just shook his head. When my dog chewed up my Edward bookmark :( he drove me 2 hours to the Borders affiliate so I could buy a replacement and that was when gas prices were high. I think he has the same type a feel about the movies as K.Smith. He knows we are gonna drool and get all horny over them but who are we going home too? Yea any guy would see these movie made there job easier. They can by-pass warming up the furnace, especially when your girl comes home and mauls you.

I love the pic of Edward & Bella in school. I also like her wardrobe better in this movie. It's still simple, but they added some other colors instead of always green. And I like that it doesn't look like Edward is only going to be wearing a blue collared shirt either. Or hanes t-shirts. I was soooo annoyed with the Twilight wardrobe for Edward.

The pic where it looks like Edward & Bella are about to kiss, I wonder when that is. In the beginning or the end? Edward is kind of smiling and the wardribe goes along with the school/classroom shot where he is kind of smiling again. So maybe this is after he returns and they're back at school.

The picture of Jacob and Bella on the beach speaks volumes. You really get a since that even though she is spending all this time with Jake. (SOOOOOOB) She is still distant to him.

I LOVE that!! I love when there are underlying meanings in movies. I think that is captured brilliantly.

As for the chemistry between Jake/Bella & Edward/Bella. Of course it will be different. She is madly, hopelessly, and to the point I completely detest ("I'm nothing without blahblah" YES...YOU ARE!!! You CAN live without someone! You do NOT need a man to define your life. End of story. I loathe that this message is spread to the public. It simply isn't true. My great grandmothers, heaven rest their souls, divorced from the loves of their lives in the 1930s. That was SO unheard of back them. The pics are getting better and better. I hope the movie is as good in live action. It would suck to have all this build up only for their performances to fall flat. But, should that be the case, at least there's a large chunk of eye-candy and hunkitude.

that's what i'm scared of as well. we see movie clips and pictures and they look awesome, even better because you want them to. i'm afraid to be disappointed when i get to the theater and realize that i was way too much excited for a movie that just is...great (meaning: not amazing). Coz it will be no matter what...i hope. See, i'm conflicted!! ^^

Unfortunately, it happens. Just like a lot of die-hard Twilight fans were disappointed with the movie, I'm sure there will be people who don't think New Moon lived up to the hype, and that there is part of the problem. NM has a lot more hype and pressure for greatness than Twilight did. It'll make a LOT of money, there's no doubt, but whether it will be deserving of that is another story. Chris Weitz sounds like a great guy and a capable director but having not seen any of his work and NM being unlike anything he's ever done, you never know what you're gonna get regardless of what pre-release promotion shows you. And it's not just his direction but the actors' ability to ACT. That's what makes or breaks the movie. I'm not overly happy about anything I've seen so far where the acting is concerned, regardless of how much I like the actors. They're capable of better than they've put out. I'm hoping there are moments of brilliance even as I know there'll be moments where I can't help but cringe if something doesn't come across the way it should. It's not that I'm not optimistic, I'm just being realistic. We won't know what we're gonna get until we get it so I'm not going to start singing praises until I see a reason to.

If I don't like it, I won't pretend I do, no matter how much half-naked Taylor there is. That might save me from hating it, but that's about it. I doubt I'll hate it considering I like Twilight so much and that really was sub-par as far as my usual taste in movies go, but there is a lot of expectation with this one that there wasn't with the first (for ME, anyway, since Twilight didn't exist for me before the movie) so if the delivery falls flat, I won't be able to help feeling disappointment. I'm the only one I know who wasn't raving and singing to the heavens for the CC clips, but I honestly expected better as far as the acting went. *shrugs* November will come soon enough and we'll see if it lives up to the hype or not.

im not letting the hype decide for me. i honestly found the acting chops of both clips great! super! wonderful. fantastic! especially tay's. kristen not so much but then again she isn't a great actress to me. we'll see if she improves for NM and the runaways.

and i have no doubt the special effects and photography will be great after having seen the golden compass which was directed by CW.

and i was over the moon to finally have seen something of the movie after waiting ALL DAY. and you were too don't lie. i was there. ;)
i love half-nekkid jake as much as the next person but after i calmed down and analyzed the first clip, i was VERY disappointed. even depressed about it. thats after having been on a roller coaster ride all day that day and 36 hrs without sleep.

cos i did NOT expect jake to give me a strip tease. it'd be better if it was for another kind of movie lol but its not. its for NM and i PRAY they use a different take of the scene without him having to strip standing up. thats the only complaint i have. the way he stripped and acted. not his acting, but the WAY he acted in that scene. he's great doing fabio. i dont think it was tay's idea though to make jake sound like "oh wanna see me nekkid" cos jake is not like that at all in the book. unless im wrong, or maybe he is like that but post transformation..who knows.

i didnt get into twilight before the movie either. and it wasn't great at all to me. it was good but could've been better. i only went to see what all the fuss was about it. so then i bought the book cos the movie left me wanting of something. and the book's writing was worse. took me 3 months to finish it. but then i fell in love with the story and finished NM in record time.

I think we are looking at movie set pictures taken while they were filming a scene and not the actual movie stills. I think the yes are that yellow so the show up more golden on film. Like using the black liquid for blood (before CG get in there) or using white glue for milk (because milk looks yellow on screen). Looking at there eyes on the website and the first trailer it does appear that the yellow is not so hard and tones down some.

I think there too yellow, but my hope is that its just the stills and that there made that way because they will look warmer more golden on screen. I know certain things have to be made certain ways so they come up right on film.

Wow I think they all look great!! CW has definitely got the visual look perfectly and the cast is just awesome. They play their roles and express their characters' emotions fabulously. Can't wait for the movie.

And I'm also two hands up for CW to direct Breaking Dawn!!
