Lucky NewMoonMovie.org reader, JacobIsMyHerion, had the amazing opportunity to meet New Moon Stars – Alex Meraz, Cameron Bright, and Christopher Heyerdahl at Chicago Comic Con, this past weekend. She gives a detailed account of her experience to NMM.org -

I got to go to Comic Con in Chicago on Saturday, and wanted to share with NMM.org!

I was lucky enough to get to go to the Twilight panel, and even had a 4th row seat! Alex Meraz, Christopher Heyerdahl and Cameron Bright talked about their experiences making New Moon, and answered questions from the audience. Alex was extremely thoughtful and thorough with his answers. Christopher was intelligent and very witty, he had an especially funny moment talking about himself and Jamie Bower goofing around between takes. Cameron was funny too, he got quite exasperated when someone asked if Rob really smelled bad.

After the panel, I went to get Alex’s autograph. He was super nice in person, chatting with everyone and being so sweet! I got my picture taken with him professionally too, and got my cheek kissed, a la TSH. He had to kiss me twice cause the photographer wasn’t ready. I asked if his wife had seen how everyone says hi to her on NMM.org, and he laughed and said he would be sure to ask her if she’d noticed. Such a nice guy, he really seems to enjoy meeting his fans!

I stopped by Christopher’s booth after that, to tell him how much I enjoyed the panel. We had a nice little chat for several minutes, we talked about Jamie’s naked Volturi stunt and how it fooled everyone. He was hilarious, and imitated Jamie in the famous interview talking about the nude scene. Apparently Christopher’s family in Norway called him to ask about it, as it was a front page story in their newspaper! Very nice guy, I really enjoyed meeting him.

    I got to meet Alex, Chris and Cameron as well. Cameron has a smile that just brightens up a room. At the VIP party Cameron and Daniel Logan( Star Wars Attack of the Clones) were goofing on each other all night. It was so funny. Chris was very humble and said how much he loved being a vampire. Also that he was glad to be part of something with such a huge fan base. He also said he's read all the books. Alex was at the party but he didn't stay long. He apologized to me because he said he saw me and got sidetracked. So he took a picture with me. All in all a very nice time.

    He saw me at the VIP party that night. But he didn't stay long. He told me he meant to come over and say hi to me. But he got sidetrakced. There were tons of people there. Mostly the actors and guests from the show. It was a good time.

    I didnt like the interviewer on the second one though, she seemed like really... accusing when rob didnt stop, and acted as if she thought he though he was too good. anyone could see that the people behind him were urging him forward.

It was finally me that said I should stop taking up his time, and he kept talking as I walked away. So nice, didn't make me feel like I was bothering him at all!!!

    I had to ask. :) It was really, really loud so I had to lean in close to do the asking, too!

    I think I was the only one that got a kiss that day, the photo session I went to was scheduled at the last minute, so there weren't many people, and we were in a curtained-off area, so no other fans really saw me get kissed. So I got to be special! :)

    The two kisses happened because we posed for the pic and held it for like 15 seconds--his lips attached to my face, mind you, so I was freaking out! When the photographer didn't take it after a while, Alex started to pull away, and right then he snapped the pic. Sooooo, we had to do it again, another 10 seconds of heaven!!!

    Well, it was REALLY loud in there, so I had to lean in close (damn!) to even ask. Then I just kinda said that my friend had met him and gotten a kiss on the cheek, and would he mind? He just laughed and said sure he would do it. His lips were amazing, all soft and full! He really got into it, my cheek was wet when he pulled away. I kept touching it after I walked away like a dork, cause I could still feel where he kissed me!!!!!! I don't think he was wearing any cologne, I didn't really pick up his scent at all. :( But he sure felt good!!!

    Christopher had kind of a deep voice, I would say. I have vids of him talking at the panel, link is above with the write up. He mimicked a few different people, like Jamie, and was really good. He totally transformed everytime he did a different voice, so I would imagine he will be nothing like his real self, but awesome as Marcus! He was super nice, too!
