Two of the actors from Twilight auditioned for roles in Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke’s upcoming modernized adaptation of Hamlet. Catherine won’t spill the beans on who, but she notes–
“We’re shooting at the same time as ‘Eclipse,’ ” Hardwicke explained. “So it has to be people with smaller parts [in that film], so that they can sneak over and do ours.”
Hardwicke also added that her Shakesperean stars could be “somebody who’s already been killed [in the 'Twilight' films by 'Eclipse'],” she explained, responding to a question about whether the dearly departed Cam Gigandet could be one of her candidates. “Exactly.
Who are you best guesses for which two Twilight alums will be in her version of Hamlet?
HA! I got your attention didn’t I? But seriously, he does! Well, he is covered in blood, but still naked nonetheless! His new movie entitled Pandorum, which hits theaters this fall, is about Aliens. But who cares about that part, Cam is nekked. In a recent interview with MTV the director of the movie, Paul W.S. Anderson, dropped the Cam-Bomb -
“For fans of ‘Twilight,’ there’s a scene where Cam’s completely naked. He’s covered in blood, of course. There’s more Cam nudity in this than there is in ‘Twilight’! There’s this great scene where Dennis finds Cam and he’s naked and covered in blood and Dennis covers him up and he says to Cam, ‘Is that your blood, Corporal?’ and Cam says, ‘Some of it,’ and of course the question is, ‘Whose blood is it?’”
Nice.
You can read the rest of the interview here (if you want to, of course you do! We’ve got to support all our Twilight Saga actors past and present!)
New pictures of New Moon-er Billy Burke (aka Charlie Swan) at the Grauman Chinese Theatre in LA on August 10th. Billy is absolutely lovable, you can’t not love that guy! His protrayal of Charlie Swan is dead on (for me anyway!). What do you guys think? I can’t wait to see how he reacts in New Moon to Bella’s depression.
Check out these awesome variations of the New Moon poster and paperback pre-order movie ticket set for the Japanese market.
Instead of the deep warm golds and browns, the designers have opted instead for cool blues.
What do you think of these versions of the poster?
UPDATE: Skylar from Japan us this updated info–it turns out that the one on the right is not a book cover, it’s actually a set of pre-sale tickets for the movie! Also, she says–
Japanese “Twilight” DVD&BlueRay will be out on Sep 18th, and there will be Japanese Original Special Feature in it!!!! It is the documentary video from the Premier event held in Tokyo, Japan last March. The explanation says that it is “close coverage of the cast members in Japan”
