I heard that Bandslam wasn't a bad movie. But to be honest Summit made a big mistake becaue they didn't advertise the movie, they advertised it with NM promo thingy. And of course it would leak on net, people have phone cameras now....I mean I just think it was losing battle from the beginning.

I was just reading Twilight (again for the 3rd time..) and I noticed all the little things that Edward did (facial expressions, pauses, mood changes). Then as I read Midnight Sun it filled in the space with what Edward was really thinking that Bella misinterpreted.

I absolutely want to know Edward's POV for the Meadow scene, more of him watching Bella sleep, as when he brings her to meet the family - all the thoughts that go through the family member's mind.

Edward is aware of so much more.

Even though this is a Twilight fan site, I'm happy that Stephenie gave a little shout out to the "Host" fans.

Me too. I read The Host and loved it! Ian and Wanderer are amazing characters. I also went in search for Host fan sites but none of them are welcoming/up to date/ or as funny and nice as New Moon Movie.org and all the websites associated with it. ;D

On Wiki it says that she did say that she is "almost done" with the sequel - that was in March 2008. So it's been a year. I know that the process takes months AND she's working on the movies. But I'm selfish and need something.

Umm. I thought they were good, but maybe I have poor taste *worried* and don't know any better..

My favorite things were

1. Draco Malfoy's character was so.. heart-wrenching.. I was so sick for him and he played it very very well.

2. I love Harry/Hermione's friendship.. the part AFTER she sets the birds on Ron was extremely sweet and touching..

3. Somehow Ginny is too solid/ordinary.. I didn't really dislike her.. but she was just kind of "there".. she seemed very blase' compared to how I pictured her in the book.. which I feel bad saying b/c she's very nice.

4. Dumbledore's death scene was so..watered down here as compared to the book.. which was a bummer b/c there's so much in that, plot wise...

5. I thought the colors were very very rich and the sets were fantastic.

oh.. and I loved Luna of course.. *smiles happily* she's the best

You are right the book is much more complex. In fact HBP is my favoute book from them all.
Not only that but the horcruxe hunt was much more interesting in the book. I was more exciting really.
Yeah I think so too about Dambledore's death. It was just much more simpler in the movie, and yes it is very important for the next one.

Ron was one of the best parts of the movie. I seriosly adore Rupert.

I don't know, it wasn't to explosive...but it was definetely better. I had a feeling Harry just started liking her. It was much more interesing in the book.
And they took their kiss away and gave it to Ron and Lavander haha. So I think it had a lot to do with the script.
I've read somewhere that David Yates felt that it had to be watered down a bit...I guess he wanted it to be really, really pure for some reason.
Anyway can't wait for DH 1 :D

Draco was really good, I was sick watching him..because I felt how tourtured he is.

Harry and Hermone were lovely, after Hermione sent birt attack on Ron, Harry was just so good. I felt real friendship there.

You are right, the way Dumbhledore died was just much more simpler and it was so fast that you kinda don't have the time to feel sorry.

And my greatest disappointment was Ginny, not the actress, but Harry/Ginny relationship was so mild, it just happened. With Cho I remember we saw that Harry is losing it but with Ginny I just didn't see that passion. And I feel so bad that there wasn't that kiss after the game.

But I thought Hermione and Ron were so cute. Those random things...like the toothpaste was just so cute. You can see that they feel something for each other.
Ron (Rupert) was amazing in comic scenes!

I loved the movie, but I felt like it was much more slower that the book.

I enjoyed the movie, but I think the plot is so complex.. it's hard to work everything in there.. it's just that Dumbeldore's death had so much in there going on with the wolf guy and Snape that wasn't shown and I thought that was important to the last book. I just remember HATING Snape SOOO much. but also being confused by things.. and it went so quickly. where the death was kind of glossed over here..

yeah, I don't know what happened with Ginny.. it wasn't so explosive in the book either, but I thought Ginny just stood out as more of a person.. The actress seems very sweet.. I don't know.. hard to explain.

I loved the relationship development... and the classroom scene where they compete to get the Felix... it was all brilliant!

I wasn't really impressed by the inking... and the clouds... UGH
Not the best CGI work this time round. They could have done better concepts....

Now the cast pulled out amazing performances...

I know! It is frustrating! Edward is aware of so much more. I read Twilight and Midnight Sun together. Like when Edward and Bella talking at lunch. I read a paragraph from her perspective and then from his. They misinterpret each other a lot.

I realized the Stephenie put in a lot of Edward's facial changes, mood changes and pauses in Twilight but it was the perfect setup for Midnight Sun. Although it makes sense b/c she knows what Edward is thinking too. AND WE DON'T. Ahh!

I hope Midnight Sun catches the scenes from Edward's POV that are interesting like why he decides to share his meadow, how he feels when he finds Bella went to 'sacrifice' her self at the ballet studio, what was going through his mind when Jasper attacks Bella in New Moon, etc instead of his POV to every chapter of Twilight. We already know what is going to happen so why not cover the interesting parts or the holes?

I think Midnight Sun has the potential to be the best in the series. BUT I do not like the re-do's on stuff we know already. I like the parts we don't know like a conversation between Eddy boy and Carlisle in the hospital right after the accident. The family meetings Bella was never part of...

The questions, the meadow scene, trying to get to the studio, how he felt when he saw there broken, what it was like tasting her blood.. thinking he couldn't stop, how he felt and thought while he watched her in the hospital while she was out of it and seeing her in her prom dress....

I agree. I took my kids and was not happy that I did by the end. There were some very scary scenes for my kids.. and me too! Plus some of the concepts were really over their heads...

The doggies getting hurt! That was upsetting to me, even if it was cartoon doggies ;)

I have 2 kids who are 3 and 5, and they love it. So to me, its a kids movie :)
