Taylor Lautner New Moon Kristen Stewart Entertainment Weekly New Moon features heavily in the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly, with Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart on the cover.

MTV and EW have features on the issue that comes out Friday, which include some new interviews from the duo–

In the interview, Stewart said she loves Lautner and that their relationship is “lamely cute,” which Lautner agreed works well for their onscreen chemistry. “It was vital,” Lautner said. “Edward and Bella’s relationship is so intense, but Jacob and Bella’s is very laid-back. Sometimes there’s a question of, ‘Is it going to go past best friends?’ And sometimes it looks like it.

“But they are so open, and they can tell each other everything,” Lautner continued. “So it was very important for me and Kristen to grow very close before doing this. It wasn’t like we went out to, like, theme parks together or anything. It was just, like, going to each other’s houses, hanging out, going and getting some dinner. A lot of nothing — just spending time together.”

Things got serious for Stewart while she was filming the movie and had to experience the intensity of what it would be like for Bella to be abandoned by Edward. “Before the scene, I was sitting in my car, like, f—ing crying — crying so hard you can’t breathe, because I was really overwhelmed and intimidated by the scene. Everyone says, ‘She better be able to pull off the emotion in this movie!’ And it’s such an important moment in the book, when he leaves,” she recalled. “I’m thinking, ‘We have to be done now. Just tell me we’re done.’ “

    i love kristen alot, but i can see why some people wouldn't like her. its not because they dont like her, its because they dont like her acting.

    my friend said that it seemed like she was either high or constipated the entire twilight movie. Also, even as a kristen fan, i have to agree that the hospital scene was quite terrible acting.

    but her acting is the reason why my friends don't like her, although i think she's growing as an actress, plus she already knows what to expect from the twilight fans and she sees how much it means to people. She is trying harder and its showing in the small clips that we got to see in the movie. (trailer and the leaked one before bandslam) i have full confidence that she's going to be great in this movie though

    Yea I used to be the same way until I had this one class in HS.. and the teacher told me... if you can't stand alone around people you don't know.. who are you then? Because you have to realize that... what's the worst thing that could happen? If you say that while you're standing there... it'll calm you.. it gives you the boost u need to be brave... try it... I used to be incredibly shy.. now I'm not at all..

    I also was a waitress... that def. brings you out of your shell and makes it easier for you to talk to ANYONE.

    I think I'm gonna have a hard time watching Jacob getting close to Bella in NM. It should be all Edward but I just need to cool my heels until Eclipse comes out. Jacob tries too hard to get Bella for himself. I agree with only wanting Rob kissing Kristen instead of Emilie. I don't want to see those press photos when they go promote Remember Me.

    ok i like kristin too but sometimes.... she can get on my nerves. especially in interviews but that is just becuz she hasnt had training like taylor lautner who is perfect wen hes being interviewed or in the spotlight and can dodge any question kristen on the other hand sometimes looks like shes high. im more proud of her when she can get through an interview with not saying anything awkward. also have any of you noticed that when she is being interviewed and people r like "wahts going on with you and rob" she looks like really pissed and gets defensive and goes " were just friends" like at comic con with that video where the question was "is there cchemistry off screen" kristin was very rude whhen she said " are u kidding me?!" she shouldve handled it like rob. so i jus think its wierd how here shes like i love taylor. we hang out all the time" something about the way she talks about how she loves taylor irks me. i kinda wonder do u also love rob "as a friend" or are u scared to say that bcuz tha paappparazzi will take it the other way. im not trying to say she doesnt love taylor its just sometimes she acts like shes trying to prove she doesnt like rob ( that is if she does) and of the fact that she was crying ya ok kristen half of the fans cried when they read new moon. and i dont think thats emersing herself in her role. yes she loves new moon like us and is dedicated but just because someone cries doesnt mean that theyre goin to go on set and portray their feelings into the movie. lets face it even tho we luvv both of them especially rob theyre not the best actors and i rrly want them to grow while they shoot these movies.but i can tell u that kristin will be doing the same face that she always does in movies at some kind of sad or meaningful or processing part. she furrows her eyebrows and opens her mouth and kinda staggers her breathing and im tired of seeing that face. ive seen probably evry one of her movies and thats her signature face for deep emotion. i jus want her to do something else.anyways now u guys can call me a hater all u want but i rlly dont hate her i like her im just voicing my opinion. now that ive said that i have to say taylor and kristin look great at their photoshoot

    As a guy. that face is what attracts me to her. the way her lips tremble and her eyes kinda stagger back and forth. She bites her bottom lip and breathes out. So Hot!! the girl is a great actor. every actor has a signature face or role. Johnny Depps best performances r when he acts drunk (ex. pirates and fear and loathing in LV) Anglina Jolie. is at her best when she is a badass.. that face and reactions she does in "twilight" and in "into the wild" are her signature. and i say lets see more of it.

    Thankyou! i totally agree with you! I think she was incredibly rude at comic con, when the poor fella asked a question and she didnt handle herself properly. And yes i see she trying to hard on the "i love taylor". which great but she pushes it to much.And when she does interviews i just want to shake her so she'll spit out what she has to say. Oh yea ive seen her movies and i dont see the character she's portraying i see Kristen Stewert and i dont want to see Kristen i want to see Bella!!!!Or any other character she "trying" to be.

    So yea i dislike Kristen as an actress.Though i have to say they fix her up real nice in her photo shoots.

    Can't wait to see her in NM. Sounds like she really tried to step it up.

    BTW (This commentary is so much better than her at Comic-Con. Just, *sigh* I'm not a hater, but the way that Rob and Kristen answer media questions with no confidence, and so introvertedly... It just makes me less confident in them. They're new actors though, so hopefully they will grow and mature more.)

    Here's the link to seeing the videos. She wasn't put together well and her interactions were a bit questionable like she was on some type of non-prescribed medication. This was the downfall of KS to many people including myself. She needs to do an awesome broken Bella to try and win me back.

    Agree! Twilight was kind of a failure in my eyes, and i blame CH for it, not the actors. From their previous work i have seen that they can do so much better, and i'm sure that talent will come forward in New Moon!

    I've always been a little worried about Kristen's emotions in he breakup scene, but now i cant see any reason to be concerned :-)

    Kristen totally sees Taylor as being the whole "Bella's personal Sun" kinda guy for her. So sweet!!
    And it was hilarious when he asked her if she saw in him the pissed off, transformed Jacob, and she answered, "No you still need to grow into your 'cojones' (male body part for those of you who don't speak Spanish) and then Taylor give her that hilarious look and says "I don't know if that is a complement or not!"
    How cute are they!?

    His parents raised him well...from what I can tell, he has a great head on his shoulders. I just hope all the attention doesn't inflate his ego once New Moon comes out in November.

    I had finished Twilight in bed and started reading NM.. It was 1am and I started sobbing like someone died... my husband woke up and was panicked that something was really wrong.. "he.. leefft... hhheeerrrr.." I cried.. He must have stared at me for 2 minutes.. He said I really needed to put the book down but I said I had to find out what happens... I stayed up all night finishing the book... Felt sooo much better.

    That's not too far off from what happened to my wife and I. I was reading it to her and from the moment that Edward left (haha I typed from the moment Rob left at first) we stayed up all night to finish it. She jumped up and screamed when Alice came back. It was wonderful.

    Yeah its great that my wife and I are both Twi-hards, we have always loved reading together, and Twilight Series was perfect because we both were able to get excited, freak out, get ruddy furious, abysmally sad, and overjoyed all over again together.

    Well, I will say.... after that night, my husband decided he wanted to know more about the series and knew if I loved it that much, he would like it as well.

    He really immersed himself in the books as well, getting caught up in them. I think Eclipse was his favorite, he couldn't put it down.

    It was so funny.. I kept covering my mouth because I couldn't spoil it for him, and I kept looking over his shoulder and asking him "where are you now?" over and over.

    He knew by my reactions that something good was coming.. He freaked out in parts too.. to which I chanted "You're becoming a Twi-hard! You're becoming a Twi-Hard!" He won't deny it, but he won't volunteer it either.

    OMG i finished the last 100 or so pages in the living room and at 1am i read new moon, and the same sort of thing happened, only it was my dad...and then i was reading breaking dawn, in attempt in one night to read the birth sequence (i was drawn to it for some reason) and i got up to the point right before where she coughs up a fountain of blood, and i gave up on reading it that night because it was too late, little did i know it started on the next page!

    I feel everyone should voice their opinion. In fact I encourage people to speak their minds but don't do it in a way that will put fuel to the fire because what you have to say is then lost.

    I completely agree. Some people just don't get Kristen. She doesn't like the fame and celebrity aspect of being an actress, but you give her a role and she will completely immerse herself into it. People don't realize how dedicated she is to getting Bella right and conveying the emotion.

    You know, that's how Jake described it when the book was written from his POV in the book, when Jake went to visit Bella at the Cullens' when he first heard she was sick. Edward was so destraught...Jake describes his facial expression as "the burning man".

    I do think she is more on the Kevin Costner type role of acting.. some people's faces can be more animated then others... her muscles in her face are not that of Jim Carry!

    I agree with you, the burning man look is going to be hard, but I think Rob can do it. He looked like he was in pain in that kiss.... (remember, kissing Bella, smelling her makes Edward's throat burn badly)

    I read an article about Rob and his views on Edward.. I think actors take too much on themselves. They are the brush, the paint. The thinking is done by the artist. Stephenie is the artist, they are the brushes, the paint and the set is the canvas. Don't think, don't interpret. Its Stephenie's vision. I don't think Director's should include their personal input, but stick to what's written. If she wears a white lace blouse, then she has it on screen. If he smiles in the book, then smile on screen. They make things soooo much more complicated than it needs to be.

    That's why I laugh at the blown up egos at the Emmys and Oscars... they think their contribution to the world is equal to that of doctors, teachers, nurses, firefighters, etc..

    Sure, they entertain. In roles like Schlinder's List and SPEAK, they inform and make people aware of injustice. But come on! For the amount of money they are being paid... gesh...

    This isn't a rant against Kristen or Rob or any of the cast..

    And I totally agree with you about what you said. I also really respect actors who do their "research" and read the books to get a feel for how the author wrote their characters to begin with. I ADORE Billy Burke, but he didn't read the books, which I find a little strange, because he was the MOST SPOT-ON of ALL the character portrayals! And - despite everyones apparent hatred toward Nikki Reed - she did a pretty great portrayal of Rosalie as well.

    I also think it's important to do research when an actor is playing a real life person, such as Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash, or Sean Penn as Harvey Milk. In those cases there is no book to imitate, just watching footage on the actual person, or if they're lucky, getting to spend time with the real person.

    THIS is what makes me interested to see what Kristen can do with her acting abilities in The Runaways. Even though I dislike Kristen, I grew up listening to Joan Jett and am looking forward to the movie. I have NO doubt about Dakota Fanning's abilities, now THAT girl will win an Oscar one day.

    Kristen, on the other hand......not so much.

    EXACTLY! Research is so important. I agree about Billy Burke. But he did grow up in the northwest and new about Vitamin R and suggested the mustache because a lot of the police had them. So in his own way, he brought his research with him.

    I am not a huge Joan Jet fan, but I am really interested in seeing Kristen portray her. I wasn't a huge KStew fan in the beginning. I wanted to see more of the caring/ care-taker side of Bella. More facial expression. But I went back and watched several of her movies and I really recommend watcher her in SPEAK. She was very good in The Messengers as well. When she hadn't read the books in the beginning I was discouraged, but when she has completely immersed herself in the books like she has now... that is wonderful.

    Dakota is more of a Glen Close, Harrison Ford kind of actress, her body radiates the character. Kristen is more of a Meg Ryan, Kevin Costner type. But I don't think that's bad.

    I think Kristen just might win an oscar, someday. The right part will need to come along.... but isn't that with everybody??

    Along with the tent conversation, this is the most pivotal scene between Edward and Jacob, in my opinion. I can't wait to see it.

    Not only does E, in all his anguish, have to admit his fault to J and that J was right, but J also realizes that he's a kid after all that E has experienced. He realizes the depth of emotions that a vamp have. They BOTH become more self aware and are humbled.

    And Bella is not in the scene.

    I hope the screenwriter and director do this scene justice. Crack Kitty, I think Rob will relish this scene. He can really play an emo man.

    i feel for her, i think it was a hard role to fill. we all had our on ideas of who bella was...(cough cough me cough cough :}). i think she really does understand the role and she's pretty awkard on her on and so is bella so i think its a good fit. twilight's script was too overthought and it needed to be closer to the book seeing how that's what started it all, but that's just my opinion.

    I was reading on one of the other sights about the bloggers who went on the New Moon set and they spoke about how she's a character actress so shes always in character. But even so she still went over and greeted the fans.

    KStew is a great actress, and it must be hard to be under constant scrutiny for playing a role loved by millions. All hatred directed at her is just jealousy because those same haters wish they could be her. Especially if the Robsten rumours are true. lol. I think she's doing a good job and we should not criticize just because she's not a camera loving whore like some of the disney starlets.

    I don't understand why everyone is comparing Kristen and Taylor's chemistry to Kristen and Rob's. Don't get me wrong, I adore Taylor. I mean, I'm a 22 year old with a Taylor Lautner poster on my wall lol Taylor is simply cute, fun-loving and absolutely adorable. But Rob is this brooding guy who if he looks at you, it's as if he's taking your soul lol I think he can have chemistry with almost anyone....I saw sparks fly between him and that other guy in Little Ashes!!!

    I guess I just feel like people are scared Taylor's gonna somehow steal Kristen away from Rob.....or their confusing the characters with their actors. In conclusion, Taylor and Kristen equal cuteness. The end =)

    im a robsten fan but no im not scared taylor will steal kristen from rob. i just dont like that summit is pushing too much kristen-taylor, the whole saga is about bella-edward and thats the chemistry that should be focused on, jacob is a diversion while robs away. i dont like that theyre trying to put a love triangle because theres none, bella is always in love with edward, summit wanted the kristen-jacob hype to be as hot as rob-kristen, and taylor seems to be going in that direction too during interviews ("going to each other’s houses, hanging out, going and getting some dinner. A lot of nothing — just spending time together"), he make it sound like they're doing it together just the two of them but those in the know knows that its with all the cast, honestly i hated jacob in the book.. and i started hating on taylor during interviews, looks like he's trying too hard for the fame, unlike rob that is shy and awkward at times that makes him more endearing to the fans. sorry for the wolvespack im just stating my opinion.

    OK. First things first. The saga may be surrounded by Bella and Edward's love but New Moon is surrounded by Bella and Jacob's relationship. Edward is in the beginning and the end. That's it. New Moon focuses on J and B's relationship and how in progresses and how she depends on J because E LEFT her. So when he decided he didn't want to be there, Jake stepped up and started brining Bella back to life. And Bella does realize she is in love with Jake in Eclipse. Of course it fails in comparison to the love she feels for this Edward guy but she DOES love him. She even said a part of her craved Jake's arm's when Edward found her crying in her truck! Now that that was said....

    Taylor is incredibly well-spoken and intelligent to be a 17 year old boy. Not everyone has to be shy, quiet and "brooding" to be endearing. And I don't see it how he's trying too hard for the fame. Ever consider that he's naturally an outgoing kid? Even when he was 11 years old he was exuberant. Summit is putting Taylor and Kristen together because the movie mostly shows their relationship. If the movie followed the book strictly, Rob would barely be in the movie...less than he seems to be in it now. So yeah.....you're going to see Taylor and Kristen ONLY in alotta promo pictures and magazines. It's promotion for the MOVIE. Not the saga.

    Let's not forget that the reason Bella loves Jacob is because it's the fate of Renesme, Bella's daughter and Jacob to be together.... Jacob imprints on Renesme his true "soul mate". Jacob never really loved bella per se, but Rnesme.... I know it's weird and tooooo complicated. The longing he felt was for Renesme. honestly, I think Stephanie should have just went with Bella loving two people but having one of those love elcisped the other... people love more than one person all the time. but there is that one love in your life that is a must and is unlike any other! Bella even said it in elclispe " can there be a love that trumps a soul mate" Edward was indeed that love that trumped in real hope for jake an Bella.

    I don't think his fate with Nessie is the reason Jake and Bella loved each other. Perhaps it's the reason they were drawn and connected. But the things they went through is the reason they love each other. It's not like as soon as Bella met Jake, she loved him. Their feelings of love developed over time. That's just my opinion.

    I totally respect your opinion, but it is true that Jacob and Renesme are each other's fate. Remember in eclisped when Jacob and Bella talks about imprinting? Ask any one on this Board for info if you havent' read it...jacob and bella, after he imprints on Renesme, has a love for one another but it's not romantic at all. Jacob event tells Bella " it was her, Renesme, from the beginning". Bella and Jacob love each other but not in a romantic kind of way. You're right in the sense that they both are extremely drawn to each other, but it's not the type of drawing they both think i.e romantic love. I Get your perspective though:)

I've read the series 3 times and the love that Jacob and Bella have in a romantic sense (more so on Jacob's part) is very evident. That's why he was so heartbroken when Bella chose Edward.

    How could it be Renesme from the beggining. Life starts at conseption. bella wasnt pregnant in NM or Eclipse or in the start of BD. fact is that jacob is a larger part of the series then even edward. None of the books have sections that are through his perspective like jacob. That is way Taylor is in the front now. and the only time that Bella and Jacobs relatinship was effected by renesme was when bella would light up when jacob walked in the room when shw was pregnant. and that she was asking for him to stay around. Direct Quote from book. ( throught my teeth: "try. Starting NOW"...."Its not possible. Do you remember how much you wanted me around three days ago? How hard it was to be apart from each other? Thats gone for you now, isnt it?"...I glared, not sure what he was implying...." That was her," he told me. " from the beginning.     I think Jacob DID feel a schoolboy kind of love for Bella before he transformed. Once he tranformed the love he felt for got tremendously more intense, and that is when the imprinting on Reneesme thing kicked in.
    And as you said "Bella even said it in elclispe " can there be a love that trumps a soul mate", so of course she loved him, too, she even felt he would've been her soulmate, if they didn't live in a supernatural world.
    I just don't understand why some people feel they have to defend Edward/Rob against Jacob/Taylor. It's perfectly fine to have your favorite, but the person to say whether there was a love triangle or not is the author herself, and she CLEARLY says there was! She even says that Bella actually fell in love with Jacob in New Moon NOT Eclipse, but that she was just in denial.
    So Summit is following the books completely in focusing on Bella and Jacob's relationship in New Moon, because that is what 2/3 of the book is about!
    We all know that Bella gets her supernatural soullmate, Edward gets his supernatural soulmate and Jacob gets his supernatural soulmate in the end. So why do people have to hate on Jacob/Taylor?
    Taylor is not trying to "hog the fame" or replace Rob. He is just a very outgoing, well-spoken, personable and adorable (gorgeous!) young man!!
    We love you, Taylor!!!

As if she would leave Rob for a minor. Some may not worry while others rush to compare a boy to a man, which always leads to the downplay of said boy.

    I agree. People have to remember that Kristen is not Bella, Robert is not Edward, and Taylor is not Jacob. It cannot be forgotten that this is just one movie (well one series) that these actors are a part of. Kristen is 19, Taylor is 17, and Robert is 23; they are all very young. When Twilight is done they have their whole lives in front of them to do other projects and explore other characters. Granted they may never be part of something like Twilight again, but they are going to move on and leave these characters behind. The characters in Stephenie's book (as much as we love them) do not exist and we cannot just push the fictional relationships and personalities we find in the books onto the actors. It just gets frustrating to read some of the negative comments and realize that the fictional world and the real world are being smashed together. "I hate Taylor and Kristen together. I am so Team Edward. Bella and Edward forever!" or "Taylor can never be like Edward." Now not all negative comments are like this, but these are the ones that frustrate me. You cannot dislike Kristen and Taylor hanging out simply because you'd rather her hang out with Robert only because Robert plays Edward (who Bella loves). You cannot dislike Taylor just because he plays Jacob. Once again I am NOT saying you have to like any of the actors but your reasons for disliking them cannot be based off of the fact that they play a character you dislike. If you played a villain or an unpopular part in a movie, you wouldn’t want people to make judgments about who you really are as a person just from your role would you? I should think, for most people, the answer is no.

    I understand that those who read the books after watching the movie, picture the characters as the actors, but I don;t understand why it is hard to diferentiate them.
    Just because Rob is playing the role of a fictional character it does not mean he is Edward, it doesn't mean that he must act the way Edward does because like you said they don't exist, Stephanie did not base her characters on people, they are a figmant of her imagination that she chose to share with us through the means of her series.
    Kristen is not Bella, and if she chose to date either Taylor or Rob (WHICH SHE ISN'T...EITHER ONE OF THEM) she should not judged and pressured into changing to the other because "its what Bella would have done"
    If Taylor and KStew date, then its not up to us to decide that he should be the best friend because of the role he is playing in the Twilight series.
    Edward is described as being perfect by Bella, that is her opinion and although some of us may argee with her, we can't deny that there is no such thing as a person being perfect, because nobody is perfect, i find it really frustrating when people judge Rob on his actions and say "its not what Edward do, like the fact that he smokes, he is said to be an idol, that is unfair because he did no opt to be one and nobody has the right to tell him what to do. Same goes for Taylor and Kristen, we are fans, we should support them not tell them what o do and how to live.
    And that concludes my rant lol.. sorry it was long =/

    I'm not threatened by anything. And I am fully aware that Rob and Kristen are very different from the characters they play. Edward is very whiney and moody for my taste. I could go on, but I won't on that topic.

    And I can see how some Robsten fans could get irritating, but I am happy that Rob and Kristen are happy together. Their chemistry off screen can only help them on screen.

    And I happen to love that Taysten are on the cover. Taylor deserves some attention for New Moon because it is his baby.

    Plus, IF there really is a Robsten (which really it looks like there is!), it is obvious that Taylor would be very happy for them! He obviously loves KStew as a friend, as she does him, she said it herself! Rob would want them to be close friends, even if he was dating her.
    There was a "seat filler" from the Teen Choice Awards who said that at the beginning of the show Taylor was sitting between Rob and Kristen (per Summit, of course), but that after Rob came back from accepting his "Hottie" award, he came up to Taylor and yelled "MOVE", so that he could sit next to Kristen, and Taylor cracked up laughing and moved over so that they could sit together. So cute...

    New Moon the movie should be exactly like New Moon the book, with the breakup (about 20 minutes), Bella and Jake's relationship (yes, they have one!! - about 1 1/2 hours) and then the wonderful Bella and Edward reunion (about 30 minutes).
    The book is 1/3 Edward and Bella and 2/3 Jacob and Bella, and that's how the movie should be. Period.

    this may sounds sad - in both ways: upsetting and pathetic - but when i was reading Eclipse for the first time, i went to a bonfire and my friend used my book to make the bonfire do what ever shizzle it has to do. But i was furious, so i threw her coat into the fire. She bought me a new book, for what £7 and i bought her a new coat for £60!

    I was so p*ssed off. When she told me it was £60 from topshop. I NEARLY crossed to the dark side and nearly went to primark. But i knew she would know. So i just bought her her flippin' coat.

    Alex was like "Alright!! Some support for the Pack! And gave him a high five and put his arm around both us with a big smile on his face for the pic! He was so sweet and gorgeous!

    OMG! My jaw just dropped when I saw his huge biceps poking through his shirt! Lawd!!
    My first day at Twicon I wore my shirt that said "The 17 year old inside of me loves Jacob Black!" and a professional photographer (I don't know with who) came by and took my pic 'cause she liked my tee so much!

    Twicon had quite a few problems, but I have memories from it that will last me a lifetime!
    The movie theaters thought they made a killing with "Twilight", they ain't seen NOTHING yet! I bet we all see it at least 5 to 10 times!

    I think Rob said in an interview that the break up scene is five pages long in the script. So it probably took them several days to film it. That had to deplete her system, to be that sad and shocked and depressed that long.
  • I read the same thing about where he said it's 5 pages long. That goes to show you right there how much time went into that scene.

    I don't think there was a scene in Twilight with dialog anywhere near that long...at least not between them, as it should have been for us to even start believing that there was a romance in the making with them.

    (no...I'm not still having issues with the lack of romance portrayed in that movie)

But what really pissed me is the ones that said "I will not buy this magazine because robert isn't in the cover" In New Moon Edward decide to leave bella and this book is about the relationship between jake and bella so is obvious that now the spotlight is for Taylor. Give Taylor a break he is cute and deserve the attention because he worked hard for this movie.

    The only gripe I have about this interview is the exploitation of Taylor's physical skills. I know we all love to see him do his little flips, he is so good at it and it's a huge part of who he is, but just like SumSH!T blocked him from doing that sort of thing for the fans at Comic Con and the entire promotion of NM, they should also stop it in interviews. It's time to pay more attention to Taylor the actor, not Taylor the little martial-artist turned hot-bod commodity. Looking at that makes me think of a monkey doing tricks for applause or a little treat and I HATE thinking of Taylor that way.
    But, I suppose so long as Summit's okay with the exploitation and it's for THEIR benefit, i.e, eye-candy promotion of the movie, then it's acceptable. Screw the fans, as always. They give you what you want but only when THEY want to give it.

    Posters - You all are great, and I love reading your comments....

    About Taylor- i think that he's doing a fantastic job with portraying jacob. Remember, Jacob is really falling in love with Bella (now this depends on your perspective.... i..e Renesme). I think that's why see Summitt boositng up this Bella/Jacob story. New moon is about her developing love (romantic or non romantic depends on your take) and friendship for jacob and vis versa.

    Kristen - I just love that she marches to her own set of drums. Not sure about her and Rob's personal relationship, but I definitely sense that she like him, maybe a little bit more than a friend. Vis versa, I think that maybe Rob is into Kristen a lil bit more.

    Robert - What can I say, totally gorgeous. But i've been hearing a lot of people say that he isn't good in interviews.... i disagreee, i think he has the most depth in terms of understanding the books and his character. I think his interviews in smaller settings are much better and show his knowledge of the script, the books and the franchise. When he is in a larger settings, well, he give the fangirls what they want.... honeslty, most of them don't want to hear this deep analysis of the book and his character, don't mean to generalize but it's kind of true....

    I couldn't be happier with the casting, I have a tremendous amount of respect for all the actors and what they're aiming to achieve for us fans. Kristen has always been my favourite actress, and Rob is an amazingly talented actor and an inspiration.

    They really show how mature they're, through their performances, and it's a privelege to see the art and chemistry they create.

    I'm so happy the saga is coming to life, it's going to be an epic journey for all of them over the next two years or so, and I'm glad I'll see it brought to life.

    Big shout out to Stephenie Meyer, thank you for your wondeful creation, you've enriched and inspired my life, aswell as millions of other Twifans all over the world.

    Well, the one think I have to give her credit for, ok, a couple of things. One she is very true to herself. When someone is as true to themselves they tend to keep a level head and not end up in cloud nine. Two she is very clearly honest. She doesn't sugar coat it or fancy it up because she may hurt someone's feelings. She keeps it real. Which keeps those feet planted.

    I don't think she has low self-esteem. The fact, she argues with director for the scene she believe in, proves that she is very confident and well-thought person. I just think, Kris is just modest person, who doesn't care much about the appearance and loves to blend in. But I love to see her wearing different kind clothes (love the gray top in this shoot) other than regular t-shirt. She has a killing body with a great leg. Any girl would love to have that body and that eyes.

    I didn't cry when Edward broke up with Bella. I actually got really mad at him and wanted to throw the book out the window and hope he happened to be walking by, and it would hit him!!! STUPID SPARKLY VAMPIRES!!!!

    I'm sure I'll see it different in the movie, and hope I don't cry. I hate crying in movies. Cause everyone hears you, then you sniffle, and pretend you have a scratch on your face to really wipe away the tears...then the nose wants to run. And by the time you leave, you're a complete make-up mess!

    Looking forward to NEW MOON, ECLIPSE and BREAKING DAWN!!!

    Seriously, it is, isn't it? Seeing their playfulness and remarks to each other during interviews is just so endearing and reassures me so much that that will come across on screen. To me there's nothing like having that best friend where you just say what exactly comes into your mind at the moment, laugh about, talk about it, or just move on.

    Seeing this gets me even more excited to see that type of relationship displayed on screen!!!

    I completely agree..having something like that is the best!

    I know.. seeing clips like this where the cast is so comfortable with each other gives me a lot of hope for the movie.. I'm very very excited.. I was almost driven insane by the escaped clip yesterday.. I cannot wait.. the CGI was incredible.. but I do think the relationships are the most important as all the cool stunts/visuals in the world can't cover for weak/unconvincing acting/chemistry.. But it's all there.. so I 'm thrilled!
  • It took me until late late evening to decide whether to watch the trailer or not. I mean, yeah, you know what happens in the books, but knowing how some things change on screen, I kind of wanted to wait for it to be a surprise when I see it tomorrow.

    However.....I was weak and gave in to TT (TwilightTemptation as I told Punchy)....but it was worth every minute of it, even if I couldn't understand a darn thing that they were saying. Then again if you know the books well enough you really don't need the dialog to figure out what's happening in the scene.

    Gotta say, the part where Jake picked up Bella and swung her around when she came to his house brought tears to my eyes. To me that scene grabbed the true essence of their friendship and the feelings that they have for one another (still friend wise people, still friend wise!). After seeing that scene and the others with them, I'm more convinced now than ever that we are in good hands with Chris Weitz!

    ...New Moon is about B/J I don't understand why everyone is mad really? Have you read the books? I am a fan of these books and I am glad they are sticking to them. Bella is the main character, and Jacob is 2nd right? he even has chapters devoted to his point of view. So maybe go back and reread for everyone having a hard time with the absence of Edward in this. Plus he comes back in the end and it will be GREAT....I always love a big build up of anticipation!!

    As for Taylor in the promos... yeah, he was, but he was never really central to anything. If I recall, he was mostly in the background.

    am a mutual fan i love every single actor in the saga..even the wierd guy in da cafe in twilight who talks to bella!!

    but wat am saying is that Newmoon is bout Bella nd Jacob, it doesnt seem right to have ROb in the photoshot, because hes only in the begining and the end of the movie..most of it is about Jacob!! yes tay was in twilight promo pics but so were the rest of the other cast, twilight was introducing us to all the cast so for the promotion it makes sense to have the entire cast in the shoot!!....it doesnt make sense to ave Rob in da shoot when Edward was only 30% in the movie ..U GET ME!!

    I think if they change their PR, the new one can understand two implicit points:
    First, no studio can control the private lives of their actors if they are not damaging the studio, ( that means watching the actors get drunk or drugs, or wathever) and I dont think the Robsten thing is a damage to anyone, if it´s something it´s a plus...
    Second: what was done in the past, must stay in the past...I mean if Ashley did that before she worked for summit, and after being working for summit she´s been the nicest, and polite and pro...that just cant hurt them, even if she´s kissing her boyfriend...( that´s private life and is better that images than seeing her holding the streetlights because she´s drunk) and
    Third, I think they are going to relax more the atmosphere because there´s still no BD and the actors the leading roles can get sick of all of this and say goodbye and...no more money...so let´s trust and hope the best.

    Some of you know how fanfic works since you have written stories. For most of you, this is a new experience and I'm excited about that.

    Basic information:

    A) This email account is dedicated to chain-fic because ff.net needed an address (and I couldn't re-use my alohasdoo.) When I get alerts/reviews I will forward them to the authors as a group. I will also blast updates to you, when needed.

We can always change it, too.

    D) For newbies (yes, you) download Open Office from ff.net home page "Writing Software" and write your document in that program. It is the recommended program by ff.net and is available free & easy from the site.

    E) When it comes time to upload your chapter, go to Publish tab>Document Manager (Upload). There is a waiting period until August 9, 2009. (jaypat, you have time!) Then, you fix it up, put Author's Notes (AN), put a horizontal bar, if you like, etc. Finally, we pull that document into the story with the Publish tab>My Stories>Contents/Chapters. Voila! The celebrated Update! If you updated and want to make changes later, there's a way to do that. If you need help, we'll walk you through it. You'll be a pro in no time! Exception of Chapter 1 which will be posted in New Story.

    F) Read and familiarize yourself with the ff.net Publish tab>Guidelines.

    G) Chapter assignments are volunteered by the author. It is not set in stone. We don't know how long this process will take and where you are in real life. For instance, I will be travelling soon, so if my story lands on that time I might switch with another author. Talk amongst yourselves and go ahead and change the roster on the profile page.

    H) Spread the word to your NewMoonMovie.org and Twitter friends. Give them the link to our profile page. If they want in, they should send an email here. I will forward to them this message and add their name to the next available chapter. By the way, you can write more chapters if you got the bug.

    That seems to be the ongoing theme around here...some thinking Taylor is moving in on Rob's territory. Good grief, whatever. What you see in that video, to me, embodies the whole relationship Jake/Bella relationship.

    She was able to relax more and let her guard down with Jake...she even knows that. So when I see videos like the above that's what I envison, the relationship that they have one with another.

    Even Edward knew that she responded and acted differently around Jake. I mean, in BD Edward was the one that wanted Jake to talk to Bella about getting rid of the baby, knowing that he (Jake) could approach it in a different way than what he (Edward) already had.

    I think being good friends is what will help their chemistry.. no, the actors aren't dating, but being friends puts you at ease and creates chemistry in itself for the kissing scenes. Look at what Ashley said about doing that movie with Kellan.. no awkwardness because they're good friends. So yay for T/K chemistry! They're going to definitely need it for the kiss after the tent scene.

    I see Kristen and Taylor's relationship as a familial one. My cousins and I do goofy stuff to each other all the time. We laugh and tease and joke with each other, but we're also fiercely protective of each other too. I also had a friend in high school that I was really close to.. everyone thought we were dating because we were so at ease with each other, but we never did or wanted to.

    I miss the easy, outgoing nature of the earlier Rob and Kristen stuff too. They seemed to show that more in the Entertainment Tonight interview at Comic Con. Maybe it was easier earlier on because their relationship hadn't progressed to a more intimate one. Once that line was crossed, it became something more personal to protect. I think if they were allowed to show up at stuff together and sit together, we would see more of the earlier behavior.

    The Comic Con interviews were interesting to watch. Even though they separated them, they still looked at each other, watched each other's reactions, and looked to the other for reassurance.. and I'm positive there were some inside jokes here and there. So the thing we love about them is still there, I believe. :)

Sometimes they were jet lagged and sometimes they were rested.     Robert/Edward: This girl, this girl she's everything I need in my life.

    Kristen/Bella: She wants no ATTENTION. She plays this so well....When she talks about New Moon she says, "She's not even aware of the love triangle." This new interview with her and Taylor/Jacob you can tell by the things she says, she is very protective of him.

    Taylor/Jacob: I'm so proud of him. From the first he knows how important his roll as Jacob is. He has been fighting for her attention from the beginning. I just know we are all going to fall in love with him in New Moon. Taylor/Jacob realizes how important he is to Bella's being able to wake up again.

    The rest of the cast I love too, I'm so proud of them for their devotion.

    I think it was done when New Moon was shooting the birthday scenes because EW talks about being on set during that time.

    And if you remember, EW had exclusive photos of the birthday stuff way back when. So I think that is when they did this.

    The attention given to Robert and Kristen is showing psychopathic tendencies, it's nauseating. Yes, their relationship may seem a quite suspicious and my eyes wouldn't bulge in surprise if they were dating, but this has gotten to a level where pathetic doesn't even cut it anymore. Personally I believe Robert Pattinson is able to have/show chemistry with anyone he choses to turn his attention towards. I've seen several men and women capable of this, they're sensual.

    They are friggin adorable together. They have a super easy-going vibe together. You can just tell that they get along and are comfortable with each other. So perfect because that's exactly how the Jake/Bella relationship is, so the actors definitely needed to have that. I cannnn't wait for New Moon! They are gonna do so good and make my Bella/Jake loving heart happy.

    I totally think Kristen has a little crush on Taylor... Even during the comic-con thing...if you watch closely, she's always glancing at him and touching him whenever she can. Little playful things, but still...like high school crush stuff. I think she kind of needs that....a break from all the "adultness." I mean, look at the EW picture of her and Taylor karate fighting...have you seen her more happy? With Rob or even her boyfriend Michael, she has that grimace because I think she feels like she has to look that way--but with Taylor, i think she can finally be a kid again, and she likes it.

    Taylor had said once in an interview that he looked up to Matt Damon,(career wise) because he did the Jason Bourne series and he'd like to do something like that......mark my words give Taylor some growing up and he will be the next action movie star. He has too much physical talent to only to romantic comedy or drama. He is going to be a HUGE action star.
