They are so cute!! I can tell from these videos posted, either from interviews of them both or this video in particular that they have such a good friendship!! =] It must have been easy to show that they really care for each other in New Moon, I mean as Bella and Jacob they are perfect! Also I heard somewhere that they spent time with each other before production for New Moon had begun to ensure that they capture that special bond Bella and Jacob have. I also think that their friendship was not forced upon it seems really genuine and I love them both =]
I am team SWITZERLAND! =] so I cannot decide between Jacob and Edward... But i also think that some people are really out of order when they say that it should be Rob and Kristen, I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think that we as fans and supporters shouldn't dictate what they can and cannot do. We have no right to say that she should date Rob or Taylor, she has a mind of her own, plus she already has a boyfriend so we shouldn't meddle in their lives.
We are fans and supporters, doesn't that mean that we should stick by their decisions and support them?
Sorry if i'm putting a downer on the situation, but i really feel sorry for all of them, I mean it must be hard enough to have their lives changed "overnight"and I really think it would make their lives easier if we don't listen and read any news that isn't true, its easy to tell what the truth is and what a lie is. but wat i wanna say has probably been said, but here it is:

i think we should let them get on with their lives and stop matchmaking. matchmaking hardly ever works out and they can't hear us anyways, i have friends who are boys and we are totally platonic, yet people say we are perfect for each other. but we don't feel that way about each other. i don't get why you can't just let them be and stop analysing everything they do, they already have alll the crazy fans to deal with who jump at them and molest them, can we please leave them alone.

kristen is a lot less awkward around taylor. but i also think that she has gotten more awkward due to her mullet. but omg she is absolutley stunning in this! i miss her brown hair she was so pretty its a little unfair. her and taylor are so cute-exactly the way bella and jacob act. their relationship looks easy and effortless like bella and jacob while the kristen and rob relationship is full of chemistry and sexual tension like bella and edward. here we get to see kristen be herself a little bit more. taylor brings out the outgoing and non-awkward side of her. she barely stumbled and finished her sentences- shocking i know. (i think that only happens in front of large crowds because it clearly makes her nervous, but that just might be me) as u can tell i am a huge kstew fan. haha. but ya i loooove these videos. she is beautiful, he is hot/cute and they have the best friendship

oh my god. i'm just really speechless right now. after watching that trailer, i can die happy now.
it was just amazing. i have it on my computer and i keep watching it over and over and over and over again.
i never liked Jacob, but gotta admit he looks good in the trailer.
there were so many things that i just love from watching that.

1.) The E/B kiss scene.
2.) The breakup scene.
3.) That J/B hug scene. (I have to say that was adorable)
4.) Jacob jumping out of the house (?)
5.) Bella flying out of her motorcycle.
6.) When Bella pushed Sam and was like, "What did you do to him?" and Paul growls at her.
7.) Jacob jumping in her house. (Kinda looks like Spiderman, but what the hell?)
8.) Bella running in the crowds in Italy.
9.) Jane taking off her hood.
10.) Inside the Volturi coven.
11.) Bella drowning.
12.) Victoria "flying" in the air. (Looks cheesy, but again, what the hell?)
13.) Edward's intense/frightened stare. (Oh my goodness. His eyes looked so wild and deranged.)

Okay yeah.... Pretty much I just described the whole trailer. I cried so much when I watched it. It was... perfect!

What blows my mind, and what really stick out so much is the HUGE character transformation tbat Jacob goes through. The last line he said...um..don't think I'd want to cross him on a bad day.

After I saw and heard that all I could think of was how much of a change takes place from Twilight Jacob,
"Hi. I'm Jacob. We used to make mud pies together." to New Moon Jacob "Don't get me upset!"

Honestly, if someone didn't understand why his character changes so much they would think it was two separate people that just look similar.

I can't wait to see more of the change in his character from pre-transformation to afterwards!

SOMEONE....ANYONE...PLEASE HELP!!!

I was out today and stopped by the store to pick up the EW issue, and the one with T/K WASN'T THERE!!!

The one I saw was dated August 14 and had a picture of some guy on it with green eyes and was talking about District 9. Was that last week's issue?

I'm not sure how the dates run for the magazine, so what is the issue date that will be on the front? Could be that they just hadn't replaced from last week's issue, but I don't know. I only had time to run to one store then thought I would check with all of you to find out.

My heart will absolutely sink if I miss out on getting that magazine.

I just saw the magazine when I went to the hairdresser's. Its from August 21st edition, and I'm not sure if they had it early or not. The article was awesome, I think you'll like it. When I was reading it I thought right about you and I knew I had to let you know about it. Hopefully its in stores now!

I just checked again today at two stores...one didn't carry it at all and
the other still had last week's edition. Glad to know that it is dated the
21st that way I know for sure. Looks like I'll be venturing out into a mess
of stores again tomorrow...hopefully one of which will finally have it!

I have a subscription and they usually do not get on stands until Sunday. I get mine in the mail today. The one you saw was last week's issue. I think they actually send them out today, so stores won't get them for a couple days.

Honestly, you have no idea the scare that went into me when I saw the issue

I'm surprised to read this from Ted. First, Taylor doesn't have a lot pressure and being watched all the time like Rob so it is easy to be himself. Second, Rob is a nice guy, he knows how to treat his lady.

Still, some people wonder why Rob is so overnice to megan at TCA (he is being watched too), but at least he can let Kris enter the car first when decide to leave event together in front of large crowd. He's 6'1, Kris 5'4. It's kind of difficult to watch... Maybe, the scare of pap., of being pictured together caught up with him... so he forgot. I don't want to judge, I hate the "open door, holding door all the time" kind of thing. But doing it in some convenient case is nice to show your lady that you care.

First of all Taylor has good "manners" to the media and the paps because there isn't a bunch of rumors going around about him and his "messy love life" They practically stalk Rob, not so much Taylor.

Rob is always kind to fans. This makes not just Rob look bad but us English look bad, we are very poite people. Rob doesn't hold the door open for Kristen in public because then that takes too much time and they could get spotted. I bet he does though behind close doors. He has always seemed like a gentleman and i think he always is. He has a veery polite manner to him.

I think it's about time i said something over all these people comparing chemistry. First of all you all judge one video WAY to quickly. So i'm just hoping this stand out and people read it and take it in.

First of all Taylor and Kristen. Taylor and Kristen and you can see easily, it's totally platonic. Friendly, exactly like Bella and Jacob's relationship. They both obviously are comfortable around each other and love to have fun. They have chemistry, but i wouldn't be daft enough to compare it to Rob's.

The Rob and Kristen's chemistry, seriously, i'm not going to lie, it is much different then Taylor and Kristens but in ways so much stronger and powerful, because it's based on love not friendship. That's why Kristen and Rob aren't as playful, because they both have the sexual tention. If they did get playful, i'm sure by the end they'd be jumping each others bones. Remember they needed to hide their relationship. Previous, interviews they are playful e.g. VF photoshoot.

But can we please stop comparing chemsitry, because even if i was Team Taylor/Jacob i would know for sure, that rob's and Kristen's relationship/chemistry is stronger. They way they look at each other it's like they are looking into each others souls. But it's not like that with K and T. Actually, i didn't see much eye contact at all in this photoshoot. Just because Kristen and Rob's relationship is stronger doesn't mean that it's better. I agree, Kristen and Rob's relationship is more intense, and Kristen and Taylor's is more brother & sister/best friend. And in this specific interview there wasn't much eye contact because they were jumping al of each other. But in the other EW interviews during this photoshoot there was a lot of eye contact.

Maybe she's just a stop on his way on down the line.

KS and Rob are still way young and barely out of their teens. They are in hollywood drama-land, have received instant super fame and mula, busy with other movies; It's hard to keep a relationship going with all that. One with a barely normal relationship can have a hard time keeping it going, now with all these pros mentioned just above can be cons in a relationship.

Now think of how many movies they will do where they will need to have chemistry with their costars. But I ain't saying its impossible for you to have your Robsten Forever dream, it could happen but I don't see it now. AND when have you seen either KS or Rob listening to Summit. They don't have to hide if they're together. I would say it would be a plus to have their fans seeing the lines from the book/movie cross into realty.

And about wolf girls, i'm willing to bet they don't give a flying fursploding damn who is with who. They just love and admire all the qualities of their wolf men, the actors as well as the character's they play. And they are excited as hell they're going to see them in action in movies and I'm sure they will be following them in other roles after saga.

Let your "Robsten" have there roll-a-rump-a-dump-in-the-hay and done deal. I'd say you done crossed the line from reality into Twi-world.

Ok, Robsten fans. Here's some dish on Summit still not letting them come out of the proverbial closet. I don't know if this goes directly to the video, but if you look over to the right under Truth, Lies, and Ted, there's a video about it.

That man and all his opinions are his, and as yesterday we learned from Peter Facinelli that wasn´t very pleased about all the misleadings on words, attitudes and so on...I simply can´t say if it´s true or not...I believe what I hear coming from Kristen, Rob, Taylor and by what I watched at Comic Con...but a friend of mine received the same answer as that man in the video "summit has nothing to do with the private life of their actors", because to start is illegal, but as i havent´received myself, i´m not going to say this is true either, so we have to hold on to the things we watched between Rob and Kristen...and don´t saturate with speculations of any kind because even the most calmed member of the cast ( Peter) is starting to get sick of all of this...and i want them to do breaking dawn...and if this goes too far...hmmm...

Well, I would have to respectfully disagree.

First, Ted has a source that works inside Summit.

Second, it is in their actual contracts that they cannot date.

Third, look at all of the promo events they have done recently. They won't let them sit besde each other, do interviews together, or pose for pictures together.

Fourth, Summit just fired their PR person because of the Robsten action over last weekend.

Summit is behind all of this and it is ridiculous.

No way, i have to believe Ted Casablanca or the "contact" he has inside summit because there are other "contacts" that tell you that is" forbidden pregnancy or relating to other jobs while in schedule for summit", more after what he said about Rob, and if it´s true he said that...
The PR according to the other "contact" was fired specifically for the akward situation on the comic con and on...separated things, no way to stop the leaked photos of Ashely offering a visit to the new set of eclipse...in a few words a bit of imagination....
Anyway, all the cast seem to have plot to manage to control the situation by avoiding all the exposure...and i repeat that Peter gave an extraordinary clue, and poor Ashley a good vision of what is being uncomfortable, so double that on kristen and Robert, Robert is the one that is suffering all of this longer...not only by media but public ( remember his everday in new york)
And last and more important, nobody is going to make me believe that Kristen is going to do what she doesn´t want to...I mean for what i´ve heard of her, i´m not going to relate to anybody´s inventions anymore...

One of my closest friends from the time I was 16 till I left college was a guy and I'd never ever have it any other way.. he was the absolute best and since things were'n't complicated by being "in love" with each other but we were really close.. it was fantastic to have a guys' opinion on stuff ... With regards to the photo shot videos. I think that kristen and taylor actually have better chem then she did with rob. ***I know i am going to here it from the Robsten fans out there***. Going back to the videos with just Rob and Kristen she isnt nearly as happy and playfull. And i think that everyone can agree that the best and most longest relationships that are out there, wether it be friends or more. Are the ones that make you happy. So I think that's what we saw in the shoot. Regarding Jake and Bella's shoot, isn't there theme about Friendship? Jacob making Bella laugh during a difficult time... Hence, that why the shoot is all freindly. I dont' think it's better chemistry, but different types of chemistry. And that'll be all folks!

you can't make judgement like that based on a bunch of videos and interviews, you don't know them personally and what's going on with them behind closed doors, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to notice they're guarded and hiding something, most likely their own relationship,remember Brangelina? before the truth came out they were acting distant towards each other,even aloof at times,one would think they didn't even like each other and that was so not the case. It's unfair to both Rob and KStew to say such things. they must be sick and tired of all that scrutiny, people should just leave them be.

I think they are fiends but I also think she has closer relationship with Rob because they see each other away from set.

sorry guys but taylor look pretty gay to me. i cant feel the love triangle summit is trying to push in the promo, they should have put a real hot guy (somebody with the "it" factor) to play the role, somebody who can at least compete with rob in hotness. people see this photoshoot video and still looking for rob. maybe taylor can compete if he can be a little more candid & jolly on his interviews or act like a 17 yr old. everytime he speak he seems like he's trying to remember the scripted answer to every question and its really annoying, thats when i miss rob & kris.

I'm in the same boat as you, cutie pie is just too young. I agree, and I've said this all yesterday, Taylor is doing an amazing job. I'm a movie fanatic and love actors, and to be honest can be very critical. However, Taylor has never rubbed me as someone who has no acting chops. He's pretty convincing... But one thing i did notice in his interviews is that he as a little southern drawl or something.... is it just me, but he has a little accent?

That first MTV one is the first one I ever saw them do together. Back when it came out like almost 2 years ago and I was still cynical about the casting. Then I saw this and was amazed and knew they had lightening in a bottle and these two had amazing chemistry!!!

In intervies one on one with Taylor she acted strange. I think it was because of the rumors, I got the feeling she expected them to ask her some stupid questions.

For us who saw a lot of Kris and Rob interviews know that they always acted cool around each other.
Taylor travels now, I'm talking during Twilight promotion. No one screamed for Taylor during Twiligt.
Rob did months and months of promotion for Twilight, went to all mall tours, gave hundred of interviews and Kristen too. Taylor was far from that stress then.

Also on CC on the panel and press conference she was cool, calm and very eloquent. I guess it was because they had a panelist who could control questions.

Did you hear one interview that Stephenie gave where she talks about how her
publishing company originally wanted her to only have 3 books? She was like,
"No, that can't happen. There's too much that goes on that it can't be taken
down to 3."

Good for her for standing her ground and knowing that everything has to be
played out and detailed so it's not rushed and also so we get a better
understanding of everything that takes place.

Thank god for Stephenie! And for her sticking up for book 4! We would have missed out on so much, I don't even wanna think about what she would have been forced to cut out. *shudders*

okay *cracking my knuckles* I'm going to give this one a go. I may end up writing a novella, but here goes...

The history of the vampire itself is fascinating. It goes back SO far into history, and there are so many variants of the vampire itself. It's intriguing to look at how all the different cultures viewed the immortal creature. And it's constant reincarnation.

As far as literary vampires go.. even there you find a pretty diverse concept of what qualifies as a vampire. Some people will think of Vlad the Impaler, or Dracula, (thanks to Braham Stoker).. or they'll think of Lestat ( btw.. Stuart Townsend was drop dead sexy as Lestat) or Louis from Interview with a Vampire.. (ala Anne Rice.. but let's not talk about some of her other books!) I tend to view these type of depictions as the 'norm' for vampires. And while HBO is doing a phenomenal job making True Blood look dark, brooding, and sensual and all.. (I'm SO team Alexander Skarsgård) the books they're based on aren't nearly as serious about their vampires. And they're not exactly appropriate for the younger reader.

The latest manifestation of vampires in the Twilight books is such a watered down version in my opinion. It romanticizes them more and seems to try to make them less ominous in some ways. I think that's why it offends some of the hard core groups of vampire fans. It's kind of taking their majestic and awe inspiring character and turning him into a weepy, weaker version.. who doesn't even have the essential vampire 'fangs' (not my personal opinion!)

I don't really read the Twilight books as a big vampire series anyway. Not after having read some of the other stuff. I liked the Twilight books though because it was a great story. It went beyond the vampiric nature of the characters.

I think the biggest reason behind all the merchandise drive is the younger audiences who haven't been exposed to the darker (and less friendly) version of vampires. Death, blood, lust, and eroticism aren't exactly kid friendly. Their need for all things Twilight is no different than their need for things from the previous blockbuster movie. (but no Wizards or Witches were offended by that one) And someone's smelled a cash-cow and is milking it for all it's worth.

So now I feel the need to go watch Stuart Townsend! I'"ll have to raid my DVD collection later! Hope I was able to explain myself, even in the slightest. I'm running on very little sleep today.

ITA. However, I must say i became a fan of the books series before the movies. It was the books that hooked me. But honestly, this is not different from the "buffy the vampire slayer" years, about what was that, 10 years ago... When i was in high school, all my friends were hooked on this show. But honestly there wasn't this "cash cow" that you speak of... a lot of merchandise and all that stuff wasn't even thought of. I really think it's the love story that is the draw for most... the forbidden love story... and although i dont' like how these t.v. shows and all that are capitalizing on this wave of vampire trend right now, I'm kind of glad that people are able to share a common like of something and have an outlet as community to discuss and share. honestly, we've been starving to have a love story like this.. The notebook was years ago and titanic even long ago. So, I'm glad that the franshise has kinda been magnified....and plus it's given us great new stars! I'm tired of Angelina, Jennifer Aniston, etc.. It's time for some new talent!

And when i heard they were making the movie i thought it was the coolest thing ever!
The best part is that there were new actresses that my generation can start to make famous.

FYI - I just learned that Kstew has a much bigger resume than I thought. Not as large as SMG's but I think it is too early to compare the 2. I do not see a cult like TV show coming out of Twilight. Let's try to think of someone else... maybe Kirsten Dunst? Interview with a Vampire was an earlier role which has obviously led to a lot of other films...

Just a thought.

To be a teenager again and get away with really bad grammar and spelling as well as the Twilight Phenom. going on... It would be nice! But to have missed other originals like Risky Business? I'm actually looking forward to getting this magazine in the mail today. Reading the parts of the interview that are posted gives me a better feeling about the movie. She sounds really dedicated to it, and Weitz has always sounded committed to giving us a movie that is as much like the book as possible.
I know, I know.. there's no Edward... And in the moments I'm not consumed with Jasper thoughts, I'm totally team Edward. But I want to see the story play out on the screen like it did in the books. It's part of Bella's development as a character. Even Rob has said he liked New Moon the best (pre-Comic Con interview) because of the reappearance of Edward at the end. I *know* there's a youtube video of that out there somewhere. I've watched just about every interview he's ever done for these movies. But I'm having no luck finding it atm.

And, sitting through this one won't kill me... it'll just make the reward that is Eclipse that much sweeter when it comes out :) :)

I honestly never felt like she displayed any emotion in Twilight though. She did not look scared when the guys were about to jump her. No surprise when Edward suddenly appeared at her side. Like I said just my feelings on it.

I LOVE the books. I even started reading a series that SM suggested - The Immortal Instruments series. I liked the first book.

But I thought the Twilight movie could have been so much better. The special effects were not good. I found Kstew's acting very flat. And I did not like the choice for Edward (just not what I had pictured). I own the movie. I absolutely LOVE all of the cast (OK maybe not all of the Forks High kids but they are all minor roles). AND I have such high hopes for New Moon and Eclipse (even with the recasting of important established roles).

Hey thanks for the video ideas for the weekend. Friday nights I watch 2 usually (as I have to work at the crack of dawn on Saturdays - ugg.) WAIT! I have seen Into The Wild (couldn't stand it) who was she the sister? I will have to on demand that one again (AND I REALLY HATED THE BOOK TOO). I could have been totally wrong on my view of her comments, but to get that upset before a scene in fear of how poorly you might do seems very odd for an experienced actor (which she is at this point with at least 5 other movies under her belt). I never checked her background and assumed she was brand new to acting and Twilight was her first role. LOL jokes on me - you know what they say about Ass-u-me-ing anything. LOL

Watch Push if you haven't already. She plays a character that can see her future and is aware she is about to die but goes on anyway trying to save her mother. It is definitely not her usual innocent role. And it is sci-fi to boot.

It looks to be from the "breakup" scene between Bella and Jacob. Right after the pack/cult "gets him" and Jacob tells Bella they can't be friends. Bella keeps chasing after him and trying to get answers out of him and Jake gets upset and frustrated, which is why I think he says "Don't get me upset" (cause he can't control his phase so well yet?).

That pic of Jake standing shirtless in the rain (from a while ago) has the same look to it and this clip in the trailer, and the shirtless pic is from the "breakup" scene.

I have a front desk job, so when there aren't any visitors my supervisor lets me read and stuff, so I was all up in the lobby with my thick books hecka into them... it was great!! Then on my lunch i would JUST like you go sit in my car and read some more. Then go home and read take a little 10 minute break and then stay up till 2 in the morning!
They're so addicting!! Yeah, it scares me sometimes, too. haha

Haha I don't remember much of my life during that time. My closest friends were reading the books too at the same time. So we'd sometimes take our lunch breaks together and we'd end up talking about the books.

yeah it really, truly is.
The first time I was in such a hurry to get to the next book that I didn't just pull over and savor each moment with the characters, but the second time i knew there was a totlaly happy ending for everyone :) so i took my time riding that sweet boat. But then after that i read it again a 3rd time. hehe!

Haha I haven't gotten to my third time yet. Honestly when I first read them I would stay up until 2 am reading - then a little before work
- on my lunch break eat fast & then sit in my car and read as much as I can.
- Then drive home fast to read more

My problem started when I finished all four books and started back at Twilight again. It's such a different experience reading through all of them a second time.

But... in the book.. he is holding on to the top of the tree and asking her to open the window and he moves back and forth to gain momentum and then swings into the tree.. all the while grumbling about being in the tree and he said he had a promise to keep and Bella says what "you promised to kill yourself by falling out of one of Charlie's trees?"

True, that's really the big change I'm seeing, at that point Bella thought Jake was still completely human, just in a cult, and not really capable of leaping in and out of 2nd story windows. Not sure what feel they'll give this shot from her bedroom's perspective.

But, it looks AMAZING, and I'm willing to let them make the special effects more exciting, like SEEING the pack shred Laurent.

Tis true. But CW does a waaaaaaaaay better job of sticking to the book than Catherine did. I imagine it's probably a combination of both, some of it has to be actually him, the leaping into the room for example, but that leap into the tree is so dynamic and smooth that I think that's probably CGI, like Legolas swining himself onto the horse in Two Towers. And Weitz has already shown himself to be into the CGI on this film (fursplosions and CGI sparkles)

I'd guess wire but then they speed it up so that it looks like its alot faster. Its like when the cullen move at super speed they still walk etc they just speed them up.

i find it funny how Summit was trying to lure people in to watching that crap-shot movie Band Slam by saying they were showing a new moon trailer but it didnt work cuz people just posted it on Youtube.

Actually if you read online reviews on Bandslam (rottentomatoes.com - only one of the most reliable movie review websites out there...), the movie itself is not that crappy. I haven't seen it myself but I wish people would stop saying it's absolute crap when they also have no idea what they're talking about.

On the other hand, and most importantly... Taylor is going to be ROCKING in New Moon. He really is the perfect Jacob <3
