I never got the chance to get a Team Edward shirt (but I will VERY soon) so the only Twilight related thing that I can wear is my Team Edward bracelets. I don't have any way of camping out so I'm going the at the earliest time that's available and I'm going at least an hour and a half, maybe two hours, early. Because when I saw Twilight on opening night my cousin and I got there and hour early and it was PACKED! We still got a good seat but yeah.

I plan on dressing up like Rosalie for the movie :) I know she was not really in the book, but I love her so much, I am like her in so many ways and have been since I was about 8 or so, because I like getting my way. The iMax theater in Birmingham are apparently planning to convert New Moon into a 3D film.


Normally when they convert movies from 2D to 3D, they just make some bits 3D (like in HP just the spells and flying Voldymorty) , so probably just the wolves and stuff will pop out but still awesome :D

It's a girlfriends of mine from work birthday so we are making shirts with our favorite quotes from the book and then going to the midnight showing on the 19th two hours early and celebrating New Moon and her birthday....we both have to be at work the next day at six a.m.....then Friday we are going again after we get off work.

Well... im really not sure. I have thought about this, but as I dont own any twilight clothing, dont shoot me im working on it, i am as yet undecided.
Im thinking of buying a Team Edward t-shirt, maybe Team Robsten 'cause that how i roll, and then whatever else i can persuade my mum to let me purchase... honestly she let me buy so much HP sh*t in the past, I dont see why twilight should be any different.
Then ill wear that t-shirt, and combine it with whatever Topshop outfit i own that will go with. I live for that store.

Makeup: Make it look like the hues of New Moon, Volturi inspired, Werewolf ( Shall I make whiskers and ears?) That's pretty much it. All I'm going to say is that we are all going to be broke by NM rolls around! Also where can you preorder NM tickets for the midnight premiere?

I'll be wearing my everyday clothes? Most likely my Team Paul hoodie because i wear it everywhere :P. I think its a bit silly to really dress up for the movie unfortunately. It will be dark and no one can see you anyway.... I'm kind of hoping that the fans don't go all out and wear Alice wigs or baseball outfits. Sometimes they take it too far and its kind of embarassing for the fans that are "normal". Really, I don't intend this to be offensive to the people that are doing it, I think its great that you have the guts to but I just think that dressing up is for younger people and when you see a grown person (15+) dressing up you just think its slightly ridiculous.

Well....I am going to wear my Chuck Taylors, Billabong Hannah Jacket, Moonstone ring(that bella wears on her pointer finger), the Marco Polo St. Jude bracelet and the blue bead one that goes with it, Nike Cortez sneakers(that she wears in a movie theater scene with Jessica), and not sure what shirt yet but something long sleeve since it will be November here in northern NY and be cold. but definitely obviously going to be representing! =]

I know, it would be awful to get yourself into a tense condition! I had that happen when I saw LOTR: The Return of the King the first time...that is a 3 hr plus movie--I was so uncomfortable...I'll never do that again!

Just a word of advice, only drink gatorade that day--it keeps you hydrated, keeps the electrolyes in check but you don't have to run to the bathroom all the time...also, cut down on the fiber that day!

And most important thing I learned: on that day in November: NO Starbucks!!!!

Not really. When I saw Twilight the first day there were lots of people there, all different ages, most of them wearing Twilight shirts, some with Twilight bags with Twilight buttons, etc.

Lots of families--moms, dads, daughters, sons...I was surprised. Probably shouldn't have been surprised though as I brought my husband, son and grown-up and married daughter!

I'm going to a midnight premier! I'd be camping outside but it isn't permitted. The earliest I can go is 10am that day (so 14 hours before the movie!). But I come from SUCH an uptight town .. i'll be the first one there for hours I know it! lmao

My city isn't so uptight. I might have to camp out for three days to be in the top 100 in line, lol.

I'm going to the midnight showing so I'll probably have to be in line around 9 PM, I'm guessing.

I'll really make cookies for us NMMers that will be in line. Does anyone know what flavor Dragon Cookies are? I know what flavor the Unicorn Cookies are.

You live in NY area.. lol, I live in a city 1/8th the size of New York.
I know Harry Potter is nothing compared to Twilight, but when we arrived at 9:30 for a midnight showing... we struggled to find a seat.
My friends and I will be arriving at about 7, and eating food in line, playing cards.. everything.

I would definitely suggest arriving before 9 pm. well, well before.!!

Thanks for the info! I will def change my game plan.

1. Pack home made dinner for friends waiting in line.
2. Bake unicorn shaped cookies and dragon shaped cookies to share with people in line. Make peanut butter fudge in case Rob shows up (he doesn't like cookies)
3. Pack blanket, iPod, speakers and games for peeps waiting with me.

I think I have a good game plan. Thanks for the advice!
