For those of you who are not familiar with True Blood. It is an HBO orginial series (geared towards and adult audience due to nudity and graphic material) based on the Charlaine Harris Novels – The Southern Vampire Mysteries aka Sookie Stackhouse series.
This past Sunday their season 2 finale aired on HBO. I am a fan of True Blood and did indeed watch it. I did see “Bella’s” truck (or what appeared to be her truck) flash by on the screen. My friend pointed it out, and I didn’t think of it again until a NewMoonMovie.org reader sent it in a screen shot! Sure enough, it looks just like it! Too funny!

I think that it is unintentional. They live in the boons of Louisiana. I live in Atlanta and see these trucks everywhere. They were just trying to fit in the scenery. They reused this shot from an old episode. I took a screen shot of it before. They showed it again last Sunday.

True Blood is totally opposite to Twilight! The only thing in common is that they are vampires, and that’s about it.
I my self am obsessed with True Blood, however I am more obsessed with the books but its just fun too se characters on TV. I like the sexy, raw and erotic feeling with True Blood. It is not puppy love like Twilight so I would really NOT recommend this to people under 18.

I would have to agree with you. I love both series in equal measure for different reasons. They are completely different, but are both awesome.
Twilight is more of a fantasy world, no gore, or horror.
True Blood is raw and in your face, but also makes fun of itself which is nice.

Did you watch the season finale. I watched on line a couple of hours after it aired. I believe they put it in on purpose as a little joke. Not to be mean, but to link the two together. As Stephen Moyer once said in a interview that True Blood gets noticed when Twilight movies are released. And to some extent so does Twilight. There are alot of Twifans out there that have never watched True Blood and there are others who have only watched one episode and hate it. The only thing I can say is “Give it another chance.” I started reading the books before I had even heard of the HBO series, and I think True Blood newbies should start reading the novels before watching the TV show. Its the same with the Twilight Saga it is better to read the books before watching the movies. One thing though, isn't Alexander Skarsgard HOT?
Have you read the books? Because in the 4th novel you find out that Bill isn't as nice and innocent as he appears to be. Eric shows more regard for Sookie in his own warped fashion then Bill did. But, from an voyeuristic perspective Bill does seem like the perfect guy.

Actually, that car has been in multiple episodes. I think it's not in there because of Twilight. I think it's just in there because it's an old vehicle and most of the cars in their parking lot are old.

actually the first book came out in 1998 and they filmed the pilot in 2007, and if you read the books, it seems that stephenie meyer has copied quite a bit from miss harris.
It seems to me that they're not going to lead True Blood down the same path as the book. At least not Bill's story line. In the books though, vampires and humans aren't even legally allowed to marry anyway.

Bella and Edward would definitely win! If you have ever read the Sookie Stackhouse novels, you would know that Bill and Sookie are only together for like 1 1/2 books. Actually the last book ended with Sookie and Eric together. The show is nothing like the books:( But that is why I love twilight soooo much, they really stay true to the books!

True Blood.. I just don't get that series. I'm trying really hard to like it, since everyone else does, but I just can't see the point. I've seen the three first episodes (we've come this far in Sweden) and the only thing I see on my TV is desperate people/vampires having sex.

Part of that is that it is geared to a more mature audience and you don't get the teeny bopper crazies and the merchandising scams that you get with Twilight.

I so want to read True Blood like you have no idea, and the few episodes I have watched this show is amazing, and come on, it nice to see that people know that vampires exist. And Who does not dream of a True Blood and Twilight cross over? I mean Jasper is from the South, he and Bill faught in the same war.
I tend to think Bella would make a great detective or even a reporter, I mean when she smells something she won't stop until she gets to the bottom of things, so I can totally see Bella dropping in and I totally would see her and Sookie doing a little team work.

I have to agree that Allan Ball the Creator of True Blood has added things in the show that I don't approve of, but he said the reason why he doesn't stick closer to the book is that he wants viewers to keep on guessing what's going to happen next. I can't pick between Eric and Edward they are both so different. You'll love the newest book it explains where Eric came from and why he is the way he is.

I have to agree that Allan Ball the Creator of True Blood has added things in the show that I don't approve of, but he said the reason why he doesn't stick closer to the book is that he wants viewers to keep on guessing what's going to happen next. I can't pick between Eric and Edward they are both so different. You'll love the newest book it explains where Eric came from and why he is the way he is.
I haven't read the books because I honestly didn't even know the show was based on a series til I was half done first season, but I would love to read them!! I just watched the season finale last night, but didn't notice Bella's truck, lol. And I completely agree about Alexander, with the short hair he is soooo gorgeous!
I know it seems that Allan Ball is going on a creative detour from the book, but you saw the last part when he got kidnapped. I believe it was Lorena taking him and that is going to lead into the 3rd book.
You've got to read the books sometime. The show tends to be alot crazier than the books, but the basic premise is still solid in the series.
