I thought from the interviews I had seen that rob doesn't like this sort of stuff: Rob regarding a music career "not right now, it doesn't seem right to be tacking onto the back of someone elses's success." I can't see Rob being comfortable with the calendars of himself and dvd's such as this one.It's so not Rob, but I guess he is part of a franchise and that is going to happen, but it is wrotten and I feel terrible for him.

I love Rob as much as the next fan, but am worried as he seems to be struggling with his fame and rightly so, he has lost all sense of the concept of privacy, it no longer exists in 'his world'.

There have been interviews where he has been so overwhelmed with the screaming fans that he has crossed his legs under himself as a self-protective mechanism. Even one of the interviewers commented on it. He has also been very honest with how incidents have upset him and all this is indicative of someone who is extremely anxious and overwhelmed by the fame.

He is one of those artistically talented type A's with a high level of emotional intelligence, This is why he is so emotive when he acts and you can feel what he is feeling. He has a deep and complex soul, is highly sensitive and intuitive and these traits can make you somewhat paraonid and he has also admitted to being a paranoid person and really paranoid now. Kristen to a certain extent is the same but she doesn't seem to carry the 'highly sensitive' traits that Rob seems to exhibit. She seems a bit tougher.

I do really worry about him in this industry b/c as much as his artistic talent is suited to this work, his personality and temperament may take a huge battering due to his Hollywood fame.

He is such a very modest person, that these marketing and promotional exercises don't seem like him. Maybe it is more his marketing and management team as afterall the more he makes, the more they make, right?

I hope this isn't the start of HOLLYWOOD fame changing him. His honest, down to earth personality is refreshing and I wouldn't like to see him succumb to all this 'other stuff'.

Ummmm ... I don't mean to butt in on the conversation, but, as far as I know, when you sign on to do a movie, especially being new to the whole thing, they make you pretty much sign your life away at the expense of promotion. I'm sure that he had to sign off to have his Twilight pictures used for promotion and merchandising. The calendar that you speak of probably falls under this category, which has nothing to do with Rob specifically wanting it to happen.

It's not like he did a separate photoshoot for the thing. All of the pictures used were of other interviews, promos, and photoshoots that he has already done. Unless it is something that is negative or degrades his character, he pretty much can't do anything about it.

Rob is still a humble and sweet guy. Let's not jump to conclusions. I'm sure that he was NOT ok with the whole doll thing either.

I think those are the same sheets she had in Twilight. They sold them at Target. They look different, like silk because of contrast and brightness of the scan is skewed, I think.

I don't think she actually likes those sheets. She didn't pick them out herself, Charlie bought them for her (the saleslady had picked them out). She doesn't want to hurt Charlie's feelings, so she accepts them. :)

I'm watching the movie right now. I don't know, the more I watch it, the more I realize that it's a classic movie to me! With all it's flaws and inconsistencies it's still great, I enjoy watching it so much.

Some times I watch it with the commentary, sometimes without. Good both ways. Wish Rob would have been able to say more, though. I like the Rob and Kristen chatter best.

I have just finished watching it AGAIN. Been home sick all week with pneumonia (winter in Australia..ewghh, but the plus side is I have been able to watch twilight everday. Plus the deluxe edition 2nd disc which I love.

Yeah, I agree, it's a definite classic to me, too. It definitely wasn't perfect, but some of the scenes are just so amazing that they make up for all the not-so-great rest. And it's about Bella and Edward, so of course I can't help but watch it over and over again. :)

One of the best things I like about the movie are the scenes between Edward and Bella. The chemistry was absolutely magical between these two. You can really believe their attraction, their growing love. I wish they could have put a little bit more time in the movie into that, though. Oh, well, they got the job done, and now, we will continue with the saga. All is good!

They were selling tickets to the midnight showing and that sold out pretty fast.
I think due to the demand, they're showing it again at quarter past 12 so when I got the e-mail notification, I bought the tickets right away.

That's the exact scene that I think it is as well. Some people were talking about what she's wearing and how it might be a dress..but no...I'm sure it's just a silk cami top to her pajamas.

With all this news withdrawal, I watched the "meet jacob black" NM trailer after like a week of not seeing it..

and i found my mouth hanging open the whole time and making weird gasps...
i knew i already saw the trailer multiple times before, but after a week of not seeing it.. it's like so epic watching it again.

Kind of makes you appreciate it more, doesn't it? Funny how when there's a slow news day we will still find SOMETHING that helps to get us through until the next post. ;o)

Will you watch the VMA's just to see the new trailer Robstenlor are going to unveil? I will fast forward through the parts that aren't Twilight related.

Oh yes....most DEFINITELY I'll be watching! ;o) I haven't yet converted to
the whole DVR/Tivo thing..still stuck in a time warp here....so I'll pretty
much have to watch everything to know when it comes on. I hope they do a lot
of shots of them in the audience as well. My cousin and I already have it
planned to watch together, so it won't be that bad having to sit through all
of it 'cause we'll definitely be commenting or talking Twilight the whole
time anyways. ;o)

I'm going to miss it when it airs but I'll save it for when I get back. That will be a nice welcome home gift to myself. I hope they sit in the front row and we're able to see all 3 of them. Often.

something to look forward to..seems like we need things like that to keep us
going until the real deal FINALLY gets here. ;o) I do hope they get
"preferred" seating as well. MTV did a great job of giving them air time

The more I check off a day on the calendar, the farther away November feels. It needs to get here faster. At least we only have to wait six months for Eclipse. I'm the impatient type, I want everything to come out right now!

Same here! All of this promotion for it so
far...trailers...stills....pics...everything..has been great, but it only
makes it worse to know that you just have to wait! I want it to get here
but I don't want all of this to end! By the time NM premieres Eclipse will
have finished filming, and I know we'll have all the promtions with that and
stuff, plus seeing all of them travel and premiere NM, but I just don't want
it come to an end so quickly.

tonight...that hasn't happened for a LONG time...usually I'm getting them

I didn't really become a Twihard until the first movie was nearly out. I was a little late to the party. So I missed out on all the Twilight stills,trailers, interviews. Now I'm overloading myself to make up for lost time.

Yeah I've been getting my email alerts right on cue, I don't believe it. It's definitely a change from last night. All my alerts of posts from yesterday slammed me this morning. So annoying.

I didn't discover it until the end of March this year...the books then the
movie, so I missed out on everything as well. Guess we're making up for lost
time. It was so funny..about three of my friends and I had a girls night and
went out to eat, shopping and all. Well two of them had already read the
series and seen the movie..I was just starting NM but hadn't seen the movie
at all.

We went to "Target" and I saw the 3-disc movie set, took it up to them, and
asked, "Is this a pretty good deal for the 3-disc?" They ripped it out of my
hands and yelled "THREE DISC?...Ours is only the 2-disc!!" Cracked me
up...here I was just coming into it and all and I'm the lucky one who gets
the 3-disc set. It was so funny!!

lol that's a great find! I almost bought that copy but I ended up at walmart at midnight to get my 2 disc version. The line was insanely long, I'm glad I got there early.

People even were dressed up as characters! I was like WTF are you crazy?! I overheard them say they came from a Borders Twilight party (!!!!!) and left because Borders was charging too much for the DVD.

The closest Borders is about 50 miles south of me, but I think it would be
so cool to go to one of those. I went there a few weeks ago for the first
time to get my NM calendars and couldn't believe how much Twilight
merchandise they had. I will definitely be heading back there once there are
more NM items.

I couldn't go because of work or I would've been there. They had trivia games and were giving away Twi merchandise to the winners. Maybe if they do that for NM, I'll go.

Gah I don't even have a NM calendar, I'm sure walmart would have them. Do you ever or I should say do you have Hot Topic where you live? I know they sell a lot of twi t-shirts and such. I almost bought one last year but I chickened out. Too many teens in the store, I was paranoid and I felt OLD for being in there.

Ok last bit, have you heard of CafePress? They sell any and every Twilight related item you can think of. I think I'll get a shirt from them to wear to the premiere of NM. Sorry that was a bit long, got carried away.

Yep. I was out at Wal-Mart this earlier....HUGE line as I waited to check out and they had it next to the registers. I agree...I really think Chris knows the fans and knows that we need more
than what was given to us before. Twilight was 2 hrs. long and look at how
much was left out of it, and from what we've seen so far from Chris, he is
already adding so much more depth and detail that was not there before, so
it only makes sense that it is longer.

I would say they're probably also under contract to not comment on the time
(if they even know) since people then start speculating about why it's too
long or why it's not long enough. I'd say Summit doesn't want that disclosed
until right up until the time it truly needs to be told. Not that they would
do it by any means...but man...I'd sit through the 5 hour cut...they
wouldn't have to ask me twice! ;o)

They eyes are "no bueno" they are supposed to be a golden brown not yellow. It might be the picture quality. I like the eyes that they had in twilight. lets get one way to do the makeup and one color for the eyes and stick with it.

and i love how they are very slowly changing the cullens style in New Moon.
notice they are still wearing cool colors, and them slowly transforming into the style descibed in the books. i like it like that, and that's it not a dramatic change that will nag at you during the movie. i liked the cullens style in twilight.

Exaclty!!! i have seen way to many promo pics, clips, and videos with thier contacts in...and guess what they are that scary yellow. some twilighters i have talked to like the new contacts and some don't. But i agree with you, that's not how thier eyes are described in the books.

I didnt like Alices or Rosalies style in Twilight at all - those skinny jeans Nikki wore when they come into the cafeteria look horrible on her and make her bum look huge! I thought what Alice wore didnt really suit her character - she is supposed to be fashion crazy!!!! I didnt really mind that though.... I think that they will look great in NewMoon! :o)

I see where your coming from...but you have to remember they didn't have a bigger budget in the movie...and on top of that they have to work with they actors/actress body type. to me if they wore everything that they wore in the books put on the big screen. it would make them stand out even more. the reason why i loved thier style in twilight is cause they live in forks....it rainey and all. and people now that they are wealthy, and their clothes show it but it's simple, not over the top. and the blues/greys and whites worked great with the color palette.

now for they i color, no it's not the picture. i have pics from the movie, promotional pics, and also the video from borders(which by they way....thier eyes look like micheal jackson's thriller werewolf lol...it's that scary.) and they are that yellow. in darker lighting they aren't that bright..but if any light hits those eyes they really pop out. and that not how they cullens eyes are described in the book, i thought in twilight they were perfect.

I was thinking after because of the way he is looking at her, with such love and sorrow. Like he is pleading for her to forgive him. Holding her hand, like he is proposing to her? She also looks confused, just woke from a dream situation.

But then it could be before Italy becuase of the shirt colour which matches the suit. If it is before Italy, then Rob's having a hard time not looking at Kristen like he is in love with her. He is suppose to be upset!

I agree. There seems to be a problem with the contrast in both of the pictures--in the one with Alice the colors are all washed out and too light, in the other one the contrast is too dark, too bright.

I think that we will probably be very happy with the color when we see the movie. Chris W. seems to work with the best in the business in color, makeup, and photography. Every pic I have seen except this one has been awesome.

Too bad someone doesn't have to approve of the pics and scans that go into these magazines. I would like to see these pics with the correct brightness and contrast. The looks of all the characters have so much to them.

How has been your life? My life has been unimaginably busy!

Quite busy as well. That accounts for my general absence on here as of late. Personally, I love the fall. Breezes, leaves changing and falling, mold spores in piles of leaves inciting allergy attacks....ok well I don't love everything about it.

I am one of the fortunate people who dont get allergies (knock on wood)... But I love the colors of the fall and being in New England it is abundant...!
