*Taking Another Longing Look at the Edward and Bella Pic*

All I can think is pooooor Jacob. The boy tries so hard to win over the girl. He's what 6'5, has incredible muscles, is all warm and gooey inside. He fights tooth and nail for her. He walks around shirtless 95% of the time. She can pretty much have him on the kitchen table anytime she wants, without risk to her personal safety.

But yet, all Edward has to do is sneak in her room, whisper sweet-nothings in her ear, look longingly into her eyes and he has her. She can't even consummate the relationship, but he still has her.

Girl, who would you rather be with Lassie or the most gorgeous creature in the world? I know which one i prefer... I like a little bit of sparkle in my life, so does Bella and Kristen.

Even though Jacob and Bella were in love, i still felt as though it was more brotherly and sisterly. Even if Edward didn't come back and Jacob and Bella got together, no doubt would her love for Edward still be stronger.

Jacob could never have won, it was always Edward, even though Bella did act like a whore. I always felt that obviously Edward and Bella would go down the route of marriage and sex and would have a kid, because i always felt that thats what tied Jacob and Bella together. Even though they didn't know before hand she would get pregnant. The universe is a crazy world, even in fantasy world.

I have read the books like 10 times and for the first 9 readings it was all Edward but now I think I'm getting a little hooked on Jacob also!!!! I LOVE his sense of humor!!! There's nothing to "figure out". Anyone can break their hand by punching someone in the jaw NORMALLY. Jake's bones just so happen to be harder. Not his SKIN....his SKELETAL STRUCTURE. His muscles would be those of an ordinary muscular man. He can be cut and bleed. Edward's WHOLE BODY is hard like marble. Plus Bella's fragile as it is...she'd probable break her hip bone if slid down a flight of stairs. Glad I could clear that up for you =)

You're right about that! He was bitter and jealous and everything else, but the purpose of my comment was addressed to being upset with people here because the wolves are referred to as dogs - when Jacob himself refers to being a dog. It's hard to be mad at others calling him a dog when he has done it himself. In the book I think there are equal amounts of slurs from both sides. Specifically the vamps as "leech lovers, bloodsuckers, etc." and the wolves as "dogs, mongrels, etc." And the reason it exists is to show prejudice against those who are different.

Even so, I don't go making post calling the vamps "filthly bloodsucking leeches". I suppose I can go around calling the vampires monsters...considering that Edward referred to himself as a monster plenty of times when talking to Bella. But I don't do that becaus Edward only said it when he got all riled up trying to get Bella away from him or in an effort to lessen her interest in that life. There are more people referring to Jake as a dog on a regular basis then people referring the vamps as filthy bloodsuckers. Perhaps I'm out of the loop....maybe I should start the new trend on behalf of all wolf lovers lol nah I won't....only if a "dog" comment gets out of line

I think everyone has their sensitivites. I have made numerous "dog" references during my time on here and it was a while before I realized it was so offensive to the wolf girls.

Luckily one of my pals is a wolf girl and she explained it to me.

No TeamRobsten they got pregnant to provide an imprintee for Jake, since Carlisle changed Edward into a vampire and met Bella, fell in love etc, it changed Bella and Jake's future, they were human soul mates and they would have lived hapilly, got married etc but her connection with Edward is stronger than soul mates and so is imprinting.

This is why Leah and Jake couldn't be together, even though it seemed predictable since Leah will get her imprintee when Sam and Emily have a child, do you see the connection with Sam,Emily and Leah and Bella,Edward and Jacob?

It defies everything about the saga, and Sam's imprintee Emily was born so of course it will be possible so Edward is wrong if he said that because you have the one and only imprint, and Jake's was Renesmee so there couldn't have been anyone else, it was destined for what happened in breaking dawn to happen!

Do you understand me now and it's not like Edward knew that he was going to have a baby with Bella and Jake imprinting on it but it does make sense.

I think the imprinting is open to interpretation. She said it's when you see a person for the first time... but who's to say that can't change? I mean, Jake said that imprinting was very rare, and then all of a sudden there are three members of the pack that have imprinted and by BD, it's four. So, that throws things for a loop. WHY did it become more commonplace for this pack?

And what if Renesmee were to die? Then what? Does Jake stumble through life with no soul mate?

Fate and destiny in regards to love is stupid to me. My ideal mate could live in Djibouti for all I know.. and I will never go there. Not to mention, our soulmates will die one day... then what? We just fade away? I believe we can connect with more than ONE person in our life and have it be right.

Maybe if Edward never came back (and Renesmee never happened).. that would have freed Bella up and he might never have to worry about an imprint.

Uhm....so you're saying Leah is going to imprint on Sam & Emily's child? I see where you're going with this but I don't think that's necessarily true. There's not an absolute science to imprinting - it just happens. Just because you don't get the girl of your dreams, doesn't mean you're always going to end up with her child. It says in Breaking Dawn multiple times that Jacob and Bella were never meant to be together - they always were drawn to each other because Bella was destined to have Renesmee. As soon as she gave birth, there was no longer a connection between J & B.

Also, I always hear "Jacob and Bella would have been togther in a normal world" - well the Twilight world is completely fantasy - with not only vampires but werewolves too........so really, Jacob & Bella never had a chance to be together in a "normal" world. Vampires & werewolves were already around for thousands of years before the two of them were even born.

Exactly!! Vampires and werewolves didn't just come about when Bella came to Forks. And Jacob wasn't the first werewolf from the Quileutes! Forks was never normal.

Yes but as you say that Bella and Edward were "destined" to have Renesmee, don't you think Alice would have a vision about it? Please don't tell me she didn't because she was half-human because that's not true and not because Renesmee had a non-existent connection to Jake because she was "destined" to be with him, it's non-existent, since she was non-existent.

There was no connection between Jacob and Bella or a connection with Bella and Edward as much since Renesmee had all the attention so Bella was self-absorbed with Renesmee, she only just shagged Edward as human and a vampire and she just basically blanked him, Bella as a vampire is so annoying, she was showing off, I want Stephenie Meyer to write a new series so we could see what happens.

By the way, if the Cullens weren't living there, Jake and Bella would have eventually became friends, fell in love etc, since Jake would come around more often since no vampires were around, so technically it would be a "normal" world for Bella and Jake and she would have most likely fall in love with him, since Charlie approves, she lives in a small town and she likes him more than her other friends at her school.

I'm not going to further argue these points because you're playing the "what if" game. What if Edward didn't come to Forks? What if there were no vampires in Forks? THEN THERE WOULDN'T BE A BOOK SERIES CALLED TWILIGHT AND we wouldn't be having this conversation. Stephenie Meyer didn't write a book about a normal girl falling in love with a normal boy. She wrote a book about a girl who falls in love with a vampire and the obstacles they have to overcome in order to reach their happily ever after.

Yeh, i do understand. I knew half way through New Moon that, Leah and Jake would be expected to imprint. But she was too emotionally tied to Sam, so i knew a child would be involved like Quil did with Claire? I don't know if i have the right wolf guy.

I think Edward and Bella's bond is more powerful than imprinting and like you said a human bond, because not only did Bella when she changed into a vampire leave behind her human form and Jake she left behind her family, but she was tied to Edward in every possible way and she only wanted to be with Edward.

How am I missing it? Was it specifically SAID? I checked the part in BD when Bella finds out he imprinted.. he mentioned their need for each other in the *past three days* not anything before that. Nothing that was said in the books completely indicates they came together because of her future child.

And as far as I know, SM hasn't said anything. If you know of something concrete, hey, let me know... then I'll be wrong. But until there's something specific, I believe they became friends because they WANTED to become friends.. no other reason.

No they might become friends because the human forces and the supernatural forces were colliding together to make a decision of either Jake and Bella (human forces) during new moon, they could have gotten together, if it wasn't for the cliff diving, that is a sign, it wasn't meant to be because if she wasn't over him after a few months, it meant that they had to be together, it's like it was the major decision, if she never done the cliff diving, it would have been fine but not the same.

Edward and Bella (Supernatural forces) came together and it couldn't be broken after that decision, it's really difficult to explain but if it's fate.

Jake and Bella came together because they are human soul mates and Edward and Bella came together, they were the supernatural soul mates, which obviously more powerful but on the terms the forces agreed and the involvement included Renesmee.

The imprinting was not preconceived..it was a default....to what should have been! Imprinting was to strengthen the gentics of the pack. Being ALpHA...what would be a stronger imprint than a half vamp half human partner??

I read an interesting thing the other day, where Edwards hold on Bella, wasn't entirely "voluntary". If you listen to Nahuel...Bella was under a "spell" not easily broken....and when Edward sucked James venom from her....some of his venom had to have gotten to her....and it causes the attachment to the vampire....?????whats up with that!

I am with you there!! Its all in the first book and in Midnight Sun. Humans have a unatural attraction to the Vampires. That, magnified by bella's unatural love for monsters. Its pretty much brain washing.

She started to fall in love with Jake when he was human, it was all natural. Not some morbid curiosity for the unatural. She loved Jake despite being in the deepiest hole of sorrow, and Jake loved her despite that as well. If jake would have came first it would have been a totally different story. and I think the balance of fans would have been different as well. As SM has said in interviews Jake has no flaws (atleast in eclipse) he is perfect.

I didnt write this to piss anyone off. So before the "Team Edward" and "Robsten" fans flood my email with angery comments. Please dont!! We are all fans of the Saga. And SM wrote this so we can all have our personal opinions on it. Also I would not like jake so much if he didnt suffer so much. It makes it easier to relate with him. I say this because...In life you have a first love, this could be your highschool bf/gf, your childhood friend, whatever. You break up and you're devestated or not, you may stay together b/c you have children. Maybe you stayed together b/c you never thought you would ever experience the feeling "of love" at the level you shared for eachother at that time, that is settling, for the children or out of fear, whatever, that is what it is.....

...But every now and again there are those that meet "the one" and you know you've heard people say that. They saw whoever for the first time and they just knew. For these lucky few, did they make this up? Probably not. And I say few b/c it is possible that most ppl's "soulmates" may have been other ppl that have "settled." Therefore leaving those that go through their whole life never finding their soulmate.... Then it gets more complicated, I'm not going into that.

Now, this does not imply that ppl who fall in love, will not, are not, or could not be happy. However just about every person can fall in love w/ another person, even those that have found their soulmate, can fall in love w/ others, but for those who have found their soulmates, the love for the soulmate would always be greater. If something were to happen to one's soulmate....that can be discussed later...

But in the real world there is "too many confounding variables," so things never end up as they should.

So in the world of Twilight, for Bella and Edward, it was love at first site, they imprinted, soulmates. if Jacob had come first, Bella would have fell in love w/ him and would have have known no difference b/c she wouldn't have known there was something more out there, until Edward showed up. She would have still loved Jacob, but her love for Edward would have been more/ stronger. If Bella and Jacob would have stayed together and lived their life, Jacob too, wouldn't have known of Nessie and that for him, there was something more out there too.

I know what you'ree saying, but eclipse is actually the one book i can't stand jacob in, all he seems to do is want her for himself, whereas edward just wants her to be happy, and is willing to sacrifice his own happiness for her, therefore i believe edward loves her more, but that is my opinion :)

I think its a matter of looking at the same picture just at different angles. For jacob I think his desperation is where people think he is selfish. I mean edward does want her for himself, he says "She is mine!!" I think that speaks for its self. Its amazing how edward and jacob want the same outcome for bella (staying human). Edward see's it as her loosing her soul, and Jacob see's it as her litterly dieing. Maybe more, I mean here is this person you love and they are about to turn into the one thing in this world that you are meant to destroy. Same apply's to the Pack wich call themselves "The Protectors" and the Cullens who try and protect humans from what they are. Same goal, but different angle.

Jacob doesnt have the advantages that Edward has, which makes him, a little brash in his attempts to protect Bella.

To me its not a matter of who loves her more. its a matter of which angle of the same picture that you relate most with.

I completely agree! I find myself loving Jacob so much because of how he fought for her, did what he could for her, took so much from her, and still wanted to be with her. The heartache he experienced hurts me because it reminds me so much of my own heartache at times. His humor, his openness, his way of just telling it how it is....those are qualities that I look for, and qualities that he had. Even though he may not have had the same way of "romancing" Bella as Edward did...he was still able to make it known to her how he felt...and most assuredly he had something she was attracted to or she wouldn't have fallen in love with him as well.

For sure!! One, great thing about jacob is he always understood how strong bella really was and never held anything back. he also understood her better then edward did. Even edward says it in BD when jacob automatically understood why she wanted to keep the baby. meanwhile it took edward a while to get it.

You're exactly right. Edward knew that Jake and Bella had a connection that he (Edward) was not able to have with her. The openness, the ability to say exactly what's on your heart even though it may be cruel, even though it may hurt...that's what Jake and Bella had..that was their open, honest relationship. Edward recognized that and knew that Jake had a way of speaking to her and getting through to her that was lost on him.

what i said also has nothing to do with how good jacob is at saving the day, he tries hard, and i give him credit for that.

In real life, I honestly don't know one girl who, facing the same decision Bella did in the saga, would fore-go the opportunity be with someone as semi-dangerous, mysterious, and was head over heels with you as Edward was with Bella. It's not just a question of vampires. It's how Edward is as a person.

Jacob is safe and dependable. That's why he's like a brother to her. Everyone, male or female, wants someone to show them something new. And if that someone loves you as unconditionally as Edward loves Bella, then of course we'd take him.

And I don't think it's a question of who came first. If Edward weren't a vampire and Jacob weren't a werewolf, Bella would still choose Edward because of the type of person he is. No one wants perfection. We want someone to share our angst and our neuroses. But they have to be pretty and perfect on the surface.

Jacob, is good for her if she was normal, but Bella isn't. Her soul as a human and as a Vampire remain for Edward. Even though Jacob does own a little of her heart.

Like Bella said in BD "Jacob is her best man" but she could live without Jacob, if he suddenly died, she would hurt. But with Edward, she couldn't. He is her life.

You know... that was one of the things about Bella that I really disliked. I know Edward is her big love and whatever... but I really didn't like her obsession with becoming a vampire knowing how it would destroy her father to disappear. And then.. yeah, it'd be okay if Jacob goes up against something evil, but god forbid *Edward* does.

Although I'm crazy over Jake, I can still see that he has flaws in Eclipse.. so I don't know what that statement is about.. but I still deeply respect/like him flawed.. so I'll take it.. I think a lot of his flaws can be resolved by growing up a bit, though.

It only makes him more human. That's what I hate about people who don't like the books. (this is not directed at you by the way:) )They say the characters are flat and have no flaws.. they obviously haven't read the books or read it too closed of a mind.

Edward- Controlling
Jacob- Manipulating
Bella- Stubborn(-ness.. is that even a word lol)

I don't really appreciate being patronized at ALL so Edward drove me nuts.. but I also think he is very polite and sweet, etc.. Jake was manipulative.. but again, I just chalk that up to immaturity.. you're right.. the characters aren't flat.. they have excellent points as well as flaws..

SM said it in some interview..It was on that Twilight quiz as well. His temper gets in the way.. but I dont think that is his fault. he really only had a temper after he changed. Its the wolf side of him that has a temper. Alot of people say that he is selfish, but i think that is a load. nobody sacrafices as much as he does.

I can agree with that.. I think Jake is unselfish also and I didn't necessarily find his imprinting on Nessie a remarkably satisfying ending particularly after all the fighing and loyalty that he showed throughout the book.. His volatility didn't bother me at all and I loved the fact that he wasn't patronizing.. I think what I meant by faults is that (speaking as a girl) he may not always have reacted/acted in a way to get Bella's attention appropriately.. but considering she was so stubborn. I can see where he got desperate.. just some of his stuff came off a tad arrogant.. but that could be curved with life experience.

i agree with you except for the selfishness...he can be selfish when he wants to be. not that thats a bad thing but it is a flaw. a girl said at comicon and i agreed with her. to me their biggest flaws (jacob, bella, edward) or at least one of their big flaws is selfishness and even kristen agreed to an extent. they've showed moments of selfishness to varying degrees through out the books but especially in eclipse and especially bella in my humble opinion. ;)

but i like jacob anyway cos i understand where hes coming from and why he did what he did and cos he's not "perfect" like edward. i also understand why they ALL did what they did. their just teens really. even if one is a grandpa but he's stuck in a teen's body. lol poor guy.

Oh, I know.. I mean, I was aware that this was going to be B/E for the most part. I never entirely expected her to end up with Jake. I just like to argue a different viewpoint hehe... I'm just going by what she wrote. Since Bella admitted to Jake in Eclipse that she wants that (just not as much) with him and that she agrees her life would be with him if life was normal... that of course leads me to believe she would have eventually had a romantic relationship with Jake if Edward never came back.

But obviously he did. I mean, I knew he would come back and she would end up with him (though I will admit a slight bit of hesitation with her feelings toward Jake).

Honestly, I think a lot of fics out there that are about Edward not coming back.... they're interesting and realistic enough that I think there could have been a real Jacob and Bella story if that was the way she wanted it to go. I think it's just as interesting a story if you lose that person you were so incredibly in love with and you try to deal with that and learn that you love someone else as you go.

Yes, BUT part of Edward WANTS Bella to choose Jacob...So IF (remember, we talking in "what ifs" here) Edward had remained away too long and had come back to Jake and Bella together, I don't believe he would have even made his presence know to her.

All of this to say that Jake is just as adequate a choice as Edward...more so in certain instances.

Of course...had that happened...most would loathe the series.

With you being a 100% Team Edward person, I appreciate the insight you're offering on Jake's and Bella's relationship and the "what if's." As a wolfgirl I have looked at all of the "what if" scenarios, so it's nice to hear someone from the "other Team" having many of the same thoughts.

My thinking is that IF Jake and Bella ended up together and Edward saw that she was happy and able to survive, he wouldn't have let her know he was there still keeping an eye on her...pretty much like you said. BUT...I think if he saw in any way that there was possible harm or danger or she just couldn't make it, then he would have let her know he was there for her. Being a gentleman I don't think he would have forced her into having to once again choose when she's happy with where she's at in life.

I agree with the above posts that happy and content are not the same...BUT before Alice showed up I do believe that Bella was learning to be happy again because of Jake....did she still miss Edward....yes, but if she had never gone to Italy and wound up with Jake I believe she would have grown to love him more and more...still maybe not as much as she had loved Edward, but I do believe she would have learned to be happy with him.

It's clearly seen in eclipse that jacobdoesn't care for bella as much as edward does - if you read through the book, you see that edward gives up the fight eventhough he'd love to fight and stays with bella instead. jacob kind of uses her to kiss him but he still goes and fights eventhough he knows how much bella would like him to stay.edward puts up with all bella's longings for jacob and jacob would never do the same- he threats bella like he owns her - edward never does this! you can clearly see how tolerant and loving and caring edward is through the conversaton edward-jacob in the tent. I don't feel sorry for jacob. In fact, if i was stephenie meye, i'd kill jacob or send him to china or somewhere where he couldn't stay close to our beloved couple. he is a third wheel, we must all admit that and i just hate his character... maybe because i'm a lot like edward. and edward does not whisper sweet nothings into bella's ear!!!

Maybe, but we've seen interior shots from the birthday and the palette was browns, yellows, golds. Same with the trailer and the shots of Jacob in Bella's room. Maybe it's because the walls are green and her comforter purple, but it just seems saturated.

As for his 5 o'clock shadow, when they were filming the second Narnia film, Ben Barnes would shave twice a day to keep the boyish look. I'm surprised they don't do the same with Rob, Jackson, Peter, and Kellan. Not that it wouldn't be annoying as hell........at least it would be annoying to me to shave my legs twice a day, so I'm assuming numerous facial shaves would be aggravating. LOL!

I guess it probably looks different in the movie.

I think it the colors look that way because it is a photograph, not a screen shot. Although, they may have used a soft flash, you can still see a stong shadow from her hair onto her face, and then a her shadow is casted on her headboard. I think the the colors will remain consistent.

Since this picture was first posted...I just notice people taking about their physical appearence. I want to know what scene this is. Is this the scene when they are watching Romeo and Juliet and therefore introduce the Volturi (a scene I would be surprised they would put in) or is it the scene when he is trying to convince her that she is not sleeping and that he wants to be with her?

I think it's fine, it fits the mood. Movies use an assortment of color palette's to set the mood. If this was all bright and sunny it wouldn't as easily portray their intensity.

God, I can't remember this part of the book at all. How long did Edward wait after Bella's birthday before he left Bella? Was it the next morning? I thought it was like a week later or something?

Posters, poems, tests... err... never ever ends!! I wasn't about to grade on her b-day weekend though so I will just have to do double time this week! Look at it this way though, now we are going back to a four day week!! Hooray!!

Four day weeks are the best! I have a Dr. appt. on Thursday and have to take
off all day, so that cuts my week even shorter. Thing is though.... would
MUCH rather be there...absolutely HATE doing sub plans. Not sure how it is
for your grade, but with mine it's pretty much spelling out everything to
make it easier for the sub to understand how we do things.

There really has to come that time where you just put off what you know
needs to be done and focus on the family. It's easier to make up for a lost
grading weekend than it is quality family time. Glad you spent your weekend
focused on her.

I HATE making sub plans too. I have only taken a few days in the three years that I have been teaching. Those were mainly workshops too. I try and get subs I know so I can just sort of leave basic plans and know that they can handle it but they are usually booked so that is a pain! I type them all out and everything so it is super annoying. Not to mention, I am sort of a wing it teacher anyway so I hate having to try and leave so much structure. Going with the flow works for me! I am learning more and more to leave work at work so that I can be what I need to be for my daughter. She started k-garton this year and needs my full attention in the evenings, ya know? Of course, I wait to read fanfic and come around here once she is in bed! haha

Sounds to me like you've got it all figured out! Sure doesn't take long,
does it? I think every year you learn how to make something easier, how to
time-manage better, what you can cut out from any assignments....

My fear is falling back into some of my old habits. When I was working on my
Masters I HAD to get my schoolwork done because of my classwork...no
choice...BUT now that that's over I can see myself letting some things pile
up because I just don't feel like taking care of it right then. I need to
put a stop to that soon that way I don't find myself having every weekend
devoted to schoolwork. Ugh!

I have had a hard time getting into grading and recording grades this year. I am having fun with my classes and all is going well there I am just not motivated to do the dirty work! The fact that fanfic is just a click away on my IPhone during my planning and at lunch doesn't help either though!! LOL I am trying to branch out some new ideas this year, I don't want to do just a set routine either. It is also hard because my daughter now rides the bus from k-garton to my school now everyday after school so I loose most of my after school planning.grading time there too!

Of everything involved..yes, grading is the most absolute worst part! I've
had people offer to help at times, but there's no way because so much is
subjective at times and you just can't explain it to others. If we lived
closer we'd have to have "grading parties" just to get motivated.

A few of the teachers at my school and myself do that sometimes. We know
we're behind, so meet at someone's house and try to get caught up some that
evening. It's fun and doesn't seem a painful. Yes...fanfic at the touch of a
button is not a good thing...especially when you can truthfully say how you
should be spending that time. Sure does take away from the reality of
everything though, doesn't it? ;o)

Grading parties sound like fun!! Yes, my subject is very subjective, lots of writing and such. Sometimes we need an escape from reality though just to keep our sanity and sense of humor!! I am off to bed, I stayed up way to late and will regret it tomorrow! It is times like this when I wish that I could handle the taste of coffee!! LOL Have a great week! Only three days for you. Here he looks like he is pleading with her, trying to convince her that he is really there and really loves her and that he is sorry for leaving her.

I am wondering b/c an Aussie magazine has printed pics this week of the cast out partying and reports that they have been burning the candle at both ends and are turning up for work looking pretty worse for wear. As a result a supposed 10:30pm curfew has been imposed on the cast.

I haven't heard anything about them having a curfew either. The only thing that I have heard, that seems plausible that is, is that Summit is amping up the security big time on Eclipse. They are bending over backwards to make sure that we don't get glimpses of filming or the cast members. Way too much was leaked during the filming of New Moon. (Italy reunion perhaps). They are also keeping their main characters, Robstenlor, out of the public eye as well. Not because they don't want Robsten dating, but to keep the fans in suspense and anticipation for more.

I tend to believe this because, well, it makes sense.

Magazine was Famous, oops can I name that here. I tend to think the pics are old and they have just 'fabricated the curfew crap' for a story.

In one week, Robsten have gone from being on the cover of every mag to none this week.

This to me confirms the security is working b/c the papz are getting nothing *cheers wildly for robsten*

You know what I love about this picture? I love that intense stare and how Edward holds Bella's hand.
I also like the skin contrast. I mean, yeah Bella IS pale-looking too, but she still has color. And when you look at Edward, he's like really, REALLY pale.

I have a feeling the New Moon film is going to be soooooo much better than Twilight, which isn't fair a Twilight (and Breaking Dawn tied) was my favourite book, whereas New Moon was my least favourite on account of it being so dark... ok, ok I admit it also because there wasn't much Edward in it! Happy now? :D

LOL i was 'bout to say "giiiirl, you know its because there wasnt as much Edward!" but, Eclipse is my favorite (and BD tied) because thats where the love triangle is hyped up another notch!

I know! It's hard to choose favourites, I love Eclipse, but what with the wig, the new Victoria and a director I had never even heard of before, except that he mainly directs horrors, im afraid Eclipse film will be ruined which could then ruin the experience of reading the book after seeing it! Or am I just over-analyising things a little bit? :D

I dont your OVER-analyzing it because all those things are true -- but, we cant expect everything to go exactly like the books. though, i am still highly upset that they replaced Victoria (she was AMAZING) with BDH...i still cant wait to see the fight scene and the tent scene and A LOT more!

My favourite books order:

1) Eclipse - It has a mixture of everything and it is where the story is most heightened.

2) New Moon - Although it is "dark" though I don't think so, it is the most pivotal book, where you get an idea where everything is headed, so I don't know why some people skip the book to get back to Edward, silly people,I thought they read it for the love of the saga not a particular character since I love all the characters even "evil" ones.

I am not on team Jake or Edward but on the twilight saga team, so I am not biased towards any characters unless on certain circumstances which don't make sense.

3) Breaking Dawn - It is the end :( and it had to happen it is just biological in the twilight saga world and I wanted Leah and Jake to get together but I found out myself that it was impossible (if you don't get me just tell me)

I'll tell you why Leah doesn't have an imprintee, it's because Sam and Emily has to give birth to Leah's imprintee.

The whole Sam, Emily and Leah thing is similar to Bella, Jake and Edward's but different in other ways which we all know.

If Carlisle never changed Edward into a vampire, he would just die as normal, but Carlisle changed the fate of Bella and Jacob's since they were soul mates but the power of imprinting and what Edward and Bella has are much more powerful, that even human love wasn't enough.

4) Twilight - It is great, it had to start from somewhere and don't get me wrong but there wasn't much for the story to build up to so therefore it wasn't as interesting for me and Bella finding out that Edward was a vampire, becoming friends, becoming lovers etc took some time, and it was already known that it was gonna happen and I have to say that the other books had more tension, excitement etc since it was less predictable but in no way am I bashing the book, it was a great book and whole saga was amazing and I NEVER read, I don't know how I read the whole saga, it just tells you something but I have not re-read the series and I read the series 1 year and 2 months ago and I remember the books rather well.

OH ISH! i never thought about that Leah thing like that! I wanted Jake and her to be together too...but, i've seen some fanart of Jake and Renesmee and it looks soooo cute! Ima e-mail SM and be like "the only way i'll forgive you for not having Jake and Leah together is if Sam and Emily have a baby boy and Leah imprints on him!" Here's my order of the books:
1. Eclipse-- the love triangle is hyped in this book.
1&/2. Breakind Dawn-- Renesmee is introduced, and theres a different p-o-v
3. New Moon-- You get a better feeling of Jacob
4. Midnight Sun-- Edward's p-o-v is SO cute! 
5. Twilight-- Its cute, and the beginning but theres nothing to it really.

By second script, I mean the new moon second draft.

Well we're not talking about the "official proposal" scene, the one in eclipse, but there is a part in new moon when Edward tells Bella to marry him in order to turn her into a vampire, and it's just a two-page thing, but it's kinda vital to the plot!

The only person that I have ever trusted is Ted Casablanca on eonline.com for The Awful Truth. He has NEVER steered me wrong on anything Robsten. He never embellishes anything and just tells it like it is. If there is not Robsten news, he doesn't make sh*t up as filler.

Something that's really bothering me though. If this is the Proposal, why are his eyes golden. I'm a little bit of a stickler for details and according to the book, his eyes should be black. ALSO, in the trailer when we see Edward distraught in Volterra, his eyes are golden too. Does this bother anyone else?

Actually, yes, they do. When we first meet Edward in the cafeteria and in the biology classroom, his eyes are black. When he returns a week later, Bella comments on the change in his eye color..."hey, did you get contacts?"

Yeah during the first scene in Biology they are black when Bella *sniffs* her hair. Then in second Biology scene when Edward has returned they are Golden. Bella then comments on it outside the lockers.

I thought Edward hadn't eaten in like days or something. WTF? And I do remember Bella being worried that he hadn't eaten in a while when they were at the Volturi's offices because they were so close to each other and she wondered how he was able to be so close without wanting to feed on her. Either it was that scene or a scene when they were on their way back to Forks, but it was a passage at the end of New Moon when Bella notices how black his eyes were and how he needed to eat.

I don't know how CW missed this. Robward would look so much more distraught if he had the black eyes because it would have so much more meaning than his golden ones. He'd not only be in despair for losing Bella, he'd be hungry like a mofo.

Can they CGI the eyes black before 11/20 LOL?

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that this bothers. Wish there was some way to contact CW and let him know. I don't know if they could fix it with CG or not, but it would be nice.

We should at least contact David before he films more scenes LOL. Edward's eyes change color often in Eclipse. It wouldn't make sense for his eyes to be as bright as the golden sun when he comes back early from hunting because Bella sneaked off to see Jacob.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one irked by this. In the official trailer, when you see Robward in the red robe looking like crap... but with the golden eyes, I was disappointed. There's just too much meaning in that detail. Edward was trying to kill himself. When would he have time to eat a mountain lion, CW?

I know, that happens to me on some sites too. This is the first time it happened here, it's been going on for two days... Sometimes it helps to clear cookies and cache on your firefox, maybe they reapeared for me when I cleared it haha I never payed any attention because I delete private data often.
