I think it depends on what movie he is in that determines where it will be premiered. The Twilight Saga is an American franchise so naturally it should premiere first in the States. When he was in the Harry Potter films they premiered in London first. It doesn't matter what nationality he is. It's entirely the studios decision.

I am recinting - because i'm utterly bored - one of my favourite parts in all of the saga. It's from New Moon, Bella's epiphany.

I thought of that night in Port Angeles when i'd had my first delusion. I'd come up with two options. Instantly or wish fulfillment. I'd seen no third option.

But what if... What if you sincerly believed something was true, but you were dead wrong? What if you were so stubbonly sure that you were right, that you wouldn't even consider the truth? Would the truth be silenced., or would it try to break through?

Option three: Edward loved me. The bond forged between us was not one that could be broken by absence, distance, or time. And no matter how much more special or beautiful or brilliant or perfect than he might be, he was as irreversably altered as i was. As i would aways belong to him, so would he always be mine.
Was that what i'd been trying to tell myself?

But re-read the reunion like 25 times.

I can't take reading through Bella's depression. It's like reading into a black hole. There's no motivation, unless you count her lame attempts at suicide. Bike riding?? Really? If she really wanted to hear Edward's voice, she should've jumped off of more cliffs.

Anyway, yes, Italy. I'm kinda sad it's been revealed in the trailers. I wanted that experience to be saved for 11/20.

You know it is a point of discussion if she really is tending to be suicidal. She regards herself as a dead person already.
But trust me if it comes to Italy we have seen NOTHING yet.

But really how can you skip the wolfy parts?
I had to make myself read those passages in the reservation but only for one reason- the first time I've read the saga was in my first lanuage and the polish translation is really a lame as§ translation. that dude totally didn't get the point and for a translator was lingual-limited. but after reading it in english i REALLY liked the wolfy stuff. You don't get these days a look at a present-living tribe. you can see that before those guys and Leah were turned into wolfs, they were quite arrogant in terms of their tribe beliefs and stories. It is a common thing in every nation- the youth just keeps lookin straight forward, dissmissing what actualy defines them- the history, the beliefs, seeing it as something irrelevant. and there you can get burnt. and i'm talking as a 19 year old living in a country with a significant history.

anyhow, at least in the movies they'll make them, as the Quilete stuff, more action-packed.

Stephenie really played with our heads though. I mean, how could she expect us to believe in Bellcob when throughout Twilight and even before Edward left, it was all Edward all the time. If she set up Jacob more, I know I would've been more into him. But even after he was established, it was like, "Dude, Bella's getting injured EVERY TIME YOU'RE WITH HER!!!! WHY DO YOU ENABLE HER?!?!" This is why I skip the middle parts.

Jacob as a character isn't interesting at all until Edward comes back and he becomes the foible between Bellward. And the Quileute legend stuff really didn't interest me. In Eclipse, that chapter about the first wife who sacrificed herself? Snoooooze!! Stephenie just didn't integrate it well enough into the story to me. And Jacob was NEVER an option for settling for Bella until the ten seconds she finished kissing Jacob before the final battle in Eclipse. So again, if Stephenie made it so that Jacob was actually a threat to Edward, maybe I'd care about him more. But he was always "like Charlie" and Charlie was NEVER as interesting as Edward LOL.

I'm an Caribbean American in my late twenties and I went through that phase of trying to find out about my past but I didn't find that these characters did the same here. And if they did, Stephenie didn't capture that feeling of both wonder and horror at your people's history. She whitewashed the American and First Nation people's battle, unfortunately, not getting into the First Nation's plight and being forced off this land. But that's another topic to discuss.

Stephanie could really get some good sh*t from the stuff she initiated. But its the common story with all writers. our polish literature nobel prize winner put that in a smart sentence ' if you really want to write something smart it has to wait unfinished in your drawer for 20 years'.
To the topic of Jacob... he is really an avarage kid.A kid. It really is well sumarised that Edward is an Eclipse.

And to that kiss, well Bella is a horny b*tch. I never actually saw the point where Bella's 'falling in love with jacob' as actually falling in love. Rather seing the healthier option. It is a meaningful momet don't get me wrong, cause the level of Bellas infatuation with Edward is other dimensional. I will go to a metaphor using the Eclipse once more. The moon doesn't always cover the sun completely, you can see glimpses of sunshine. Bella ,while kissing Jacob ,caught the glimpses- the moments that she could share with Jacob, things that Edward could never give her.

In this book I see 2 different imaginations of love . If you saw Vicky,Christina, Barcelona you'll understand what I'm saying.
Different people seek different things and define love differently. Love can be completely unreasonable and all-consuming and love can be a healthy shelter. And passion in both cases is the fuel.
It's not team Edward, team Jacob.

I do agree with most of your opinion. Jacob was never than interesting of a character for me. Stephanie developed Edward's character from the beginning that you know in the end it will still be Belward. However, at the end of Twilight and knowing this fact when I startd reading New Moon, I seriously hoped that the book NM will not be lovey-dovey like Twilight because that will be sort of boring. I was glad to find out it wasn't but jacob's character was not strong enough for me to hold high hopes that Edward will come back, I know He will so I just skipped through the pages to get to Edward. Only later, when I reread NM that I seeped in jacob's character but still didn't hold much for me. What I don't understand is why the F did Bella think she is in love with jacob and then later on in BD when she turned into a vampire claims her love forJacob must have been " a human weakness"? How can Stephanie just make that feeling insignificant for Bella? I don't think Stephanie did the Jacob character justice. I just don't..

She seriously didn't ITA ITA ITA!!!! In BD, Stephenie seemed to retract from a lot of ideas that he had building up in the first three books, perhaps inspired by the fans or forced by her publisher. There was just a serious disconnect between the characters in BD and the characters in the first three books.

I do remember in BD, she explained her love for Jacob became so intense because Reneesme was inside her somewhere in spirit... which of course, is utter BS. Stephenie was really grasping at straws explaining why Jacob became a threat. She didn't want Bella and Edward's love to be as steady as I think it actually was and she thrust Bellcob on us in order to cause an unnecessary triangle. I really wish Stephenie hadn't gone there with Bellcob. Jacob was more of a threat to Edward as a friend than as a potential boyfriend.

And when I read BD, I honestly thought I was reading a novel from the 19th Century. I'm sorry, I just hated Bella being pregnant. HATED. And I still think that baby should've been a devil's spawn. Bella should've been wrong. Edward and Jacob should've been right. That baby should've wreaked havoc around Forks, consuming humans like fat kids consume McDonalds. I really hope whoever writes the screenplay and directs makes me like it, though LOL.

I have a funny story for you guys.

One of my coworkers and I went to get some ice cream yesterday afternoon. We are in the car leaving, and he says "My milkshake is runny, just the way I like it."

I about spewed ice cream all over my car, and busted out laughing. He looks at me with this puzzled look on his face, and I am still laughing. He asks me what is so funny.

I tell him that it is one of those Twilight things and he wouldn't understand. He says "Did I say a Robism?"

I went to the premiere last year in L.A. Actually my icon is one of the pics I took there. If I recall, everyone started to line up around 12pm so you could line up by the red carpet. Once by the red carpet, we stood there for about 5 or 6 hours. I believe random celebrities showed up around 7pm and the cast came afterwords. Probably around 7:30-8:00 pm. It was a VERY long day in 100 degree weather but well worth it.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon is NOT premiering in LA people! I don't know why people can't get it straight: the premiere is set to be in Knoxville, TN, at the Regal Cinemas Pinnacle Theater. I don't know why everyone thinks everything is gonna be in LA or NYC or London.

The reason I'm so *aheming.* about this is because I actually live in Knoxville :) Our newspaper, the News Sentinel, said a few months back it certainly was to be here.
