Minschen, totally agree with Why Nikki as Rosalie. Never should have been. Catherine is a family friend which is why she got the role. I always thought Amanda Seyfreid would have been a great Rosalie. Gorgeous long blonde (natural) hair, round beautiful features....probably would have been striking with the golden eyes and fulla attitude!!

How hard is it for the studio to put a short blunt cut brown wig on Dakota to make her look like Jane as described by Stephanie?

Nothing against the actors. I happen to adore Dakota and like Michael Sheen very much. I guess I am such fan of the Twilight series that I find myself disappointed in lack of attention to very important details such as looks of the characters.

this is film. things are made different as in the books. you can still have your imagination, and that's your vision of the book. film is different medium, the laws are different. i'm fine with the changes, as long as they keep the spirit of the book, i like what i've seen so far too.

Why Nikki Reed as Roaslie? ^^ Stephanie described her like a person who is so beautiful that it hurts to look at her...

the trailer is awsome. i hope the movie will be great too. i know we already have a high expectation about NM, and hope that it will be as great as we want.but it's scare too if the movie doesnt fulfill our hopes. the one thing i want to be sure is they put the proposal scene at the movie cos it's one of the important part to continue to eclipse..aghhh i have read the script, but i still hope they do it exactly the same with the book.

After I saw Twilight the 1st time I could not bring myself back to the theater because that movie was so horrible.....but I can tell, just from the trailer that NM will rock! and i will be going every chance I get to see it....over, and over, and over again!!! Woo Hooo

Don't sweat the small stuff, is what I say. As long as the key points of the book are in their, and our favorite dialogues, who gives a sh*t. If we concern ourselves too much on these tiny by the book details, we will drive ourselves mad.

So glad someone confirmed that Felix did not throw Edward around in the book... was going to reread for peace of mind. Following the book where Jane actually is the one hurting Edward would have been just as convincing. How are they going to "end" that fight scene on a good enough note to let them leave peacefully? Loved the rest of the trailer though!

That is why you need to see the movie. Ugh! An dthe fight scene looks amaizing Im happy they added it! and also the fact that they changed that volvo to black!! it looks much better!!

I think the volvo is black because thats how Bella sees it. Remember in the book she was fearful of not being able to remember things. Thats why she wouldnt leave forks, because then she feared over time she would forget details of him. She couldnt conciensly think of him because it hurt to much. So this is what her subconcience lets her see. I love the trailer!

I was disappointed in the trailer. I think at this point they are giving too much away. I was disappointed to see Felix throwing Edward around when that never happened in the book and am totally an completely NOT HAPPY that Jane looks like Dakota Fanning versus the other way around where Dakota Fanning is supposed to look like Jane. I feel the same way about Aro. Aro looks like Michael Sheen.......not the way it supposed to be. Michael Sheen should LOOK like Aro!!

But these actors also do more than just try to look like the characters--they also bring their mannerisms/voices/movements to life which completes the character's portrayal.

I agree. I have no qualms about someone adding extra's to a movie that did not appear in the original book AS LONG AS they are IMPROVING the story. Clearly, this was a very smart way to get male viewers intrigued. It looks Epic. The best part (for me) is the speed of Felix. Before he (Edward) even hits the wall under the bench, felix is already there waiting to punch him. Those are the kind of details and effects I expect and am sooo happy to see here.

CWEITZ had said that for him personally the Volturi scenes were his favorite and he was very proud of the work done there, so I'm massively excited to see that as well as the wolf chasedown of Laurent. .very exciting!

The wolves are looking feirce! Love that they look huge! I was a lil scared at first. The showdown between laurent and the pack is going to be awesome, I wonder how gory we will get here? I mean Aro rippping off the dude's head, Laurent getting ripped to shreds.....I think i like it. Would love to see Laurent's head dangling from paul's mouth. Using one of his dreds. :)
