In lieu of MTV announcing that not only will Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Launter be attending the MTV Video Music Awards. They’ve decided to make a list of their Top 10 Twilight MTV Moments -

Spunk Ransom Is Born
In one of his first interviews for the “Twilight” franchise, MTV News had nearly an hour alone with the soon-to-be A-lister on the set of the film. Among the many questions we brought him was: “What do you think of your nickname RPattz?” He responded in his usual charming, rambling manner, insisting that he wanted a new nickname: Spunk Ransom. The term has stuck, been officially defined, yielded some very cool “Twilight” merch and is reportedly the easiest way to get a smile out of Rob — er, Spunk — if you should ever meet him.

Don’t Count Out Taylor
Barely a month after “Twilight” opened at the top of the box office, young Taylor Lautner had become the J.D. Salinger of the series — disappearing from the spotlight and leaving many to wonder whether we’d see him again. Just when the consensus among fans seemed to be that his role would be recast with a more physically impressive actor like Michael Copon, we found Taylor at a tiny red-carpet event. Noticeably larger, he revealed that he’d been working out around-the-clock, was about to meet with “New Moon” director Chris Weitz and vowed to return as Jacob. Finally, “Twilight” Nation could breath a sigh of relief.

Kristen’s Near-Death Experience
We all know that Kristen Stewart is a great dramatic actress, but when she said that filming the next film “killed me,” that took it to a whole new level. As KStew’s quotes rocketed around the Web, Twilighters became even more eager to see her “New Moon” performance.

On September 13th, you’ll be getting a brand new dose of New Moon action with an exclusive new New Moon trailer, along with guest appearances from Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart!–

“Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will appear on the show to debut an exclusive expanded trailer for “New Moon,” the second film in Summit Entertainment’s vampire saga.

Airing at 9 p.m. on September 13, the Russell Brand-hosted VMAs will pit Lady Gaga against Beyoncé, as each pop star has nabbed nine nominations, including nods for Video of the Year and Best Female Video. Britney Spears has garnered seven nominations for her “Womanizer” and “Circus” clips in categories like Video of the Year and Best Pop Video. Kanye West, Eminem and Coldplay received four nominations each.

Also premering the same night: Death Cab for Cutie’s lead single from the New Moon soundtrack!

Virtual world builder and chat hangout Habbo is going to start offering officialTwilight-related items to decorate your pad in the game–

Habbo brings a taste for something forbidden to its popular virtual world this fall in the form of virtual goods to be based on the upcoming film New Moon, the second installment of the Twilight Saga.

In a deal with the film’s production company Summit Entertainment, announced today, Habbo’s 13 million unique monthly users will soon have an opportunity to buy virtual goods such as a clock tower or Volturi crest, both memorialized in the vampire-themed teen romance thriller due to theaters this fall. The deal also includes the creation of movie-branded rooms, and Twilight-based activities and polls across Habbo’s 31 communities worldwide.
