Jacob held his arms as wide as the tent allowed. As usual, when he'd been running around as a wolf, he'd only thrown on the bare essentials - just a pair of sweats, no shirt, no shoes.

"J-J-J-J-Jake, you'll f-f-f-freeze," I tried to complain.

"Not me," he said cheerfully. "I run at a toasty one-oh- eight point nine these days. I'll have you sweating in no time."

Edward snarled, but Jacob didn't even look at him. Instead, he crawled to my side and started unzipping my sleeping bag. Edward's hand was suddenly hard on his shoulder, restraining, snow white against the dark skin. Jacob's jaw clenched, his nostrils flaring, his body recoiling from the cold touch. The long muscles in his arms flexed automatically.

"Get your hand off of me," he growled through his teeth.

"Keep your hands off of her," Edward answered blackly.
"D-d-d-don't f-f-f-f-fight," I pleaded. Another tremor rocked through me. It felt like my teeth were going to shatter, they were slamming together so hard.

"I'm sure she'll thank you for this when her toes turn black and drop off," Jacob snapped.

Edward hesitated, then his hand fell away and he slid back to his position in the corner.
His voice was flat and frightening. "Watch yourself."
Jacob chuckled. "Scoot over, Bella," he said, zipping the sleeping bag open farther.

I stared at him in outrage. No wonder Edward was reacting this way.

"N-n-n-n-n," I tried to protest.
"Don't be stupid," he said, exasperated. "Don't you like having ten toes?"

He crammed his body into the nonexistent space, forcing the zipper up behind himself.
And then I couldn't object - I didn't want to anymore. He was so warm. His arms constricted around me, holding me snugly against his bare chest. The heat was irresistible, like air after being underwater for too long. He cringed when I pressed my icy fingers eagerly against his skin.

"Jeez, you're freezing, Bella," he complained.
"S-s-s-s-sorry," I stuttered.
"Try to relax,' he suggested as another shover rippled through me violently. "You'll be warm in a minute. Of course, you'd warm up faster if you took your clothes off."

Edward growled sharply.
"That's just a simple fact," Jacob defended himself.

"Survival one-oh-one."
"C-c-cut it out, Jake," I said angrily, through my body refused to even try to pull away from him. "N-n-n-nobody really n-n-n-needs all ten t-t-toes."

"Don't worry about the bloodsucker," Jacob suggested, and his tone was smug. "He's just jealous."

"Of course I am." Edward's voice was velvet again, under control, a musical murmur in the darkness. "You don't have the faintest idea how much I wish I could do what you're doing for her, mongrel."

Edward had some comebacks even Jake couldn't beat.

"Even if I could have taken your place last night, it still would not have made the ten best nights of MY life. Dream about that, mongrel."

I was talking with RFM (Marie) last night, who lives in the Philippines. while we were talking she said there was a terrible storm going on. She tried to stay on for awhile but eventually had to log off due to the electricity being out, laptop battery low, and flooding going on.

Punchy told me earlier that she had heard a hurricane had hit the islands. It was a tropical storm that was evidently unexpected and caused mass damage and many deaths. I am so concerned about her and my stomach is just in knots right now. If you wish to read the article that's posted..fine...if not, that's fine too. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers...

well we're ok. no one in my family got hurt and our house is still here (thank god). we're just having troubles with the aftermath of the storm. the flood got too high, good thing it didnt reach our house though the lower part of our house were drowned in it. it almost reached our house but then the rain slowed a bit so thats a good thing. but that was some flood i tell u. i have pictures to prove it. i dont want to share that though. u wouldnt want to see that.

our whole neighbohood got tons of damages.. i havent really checked the other places to tell if someone got hurt or not. im a bit worried about my relatives all over manila though. i havent heard from them. the electrity is ok now, it was back last night (day time in the US), i tried to go online but the connection was not really ok os i gave up on that. as u can see tons were hurt. the news are just showing today, i think electricity was gone the whole day, i didnt know what was happening during the flood. but yeah. everything's a mess right now. we dont have a clean water yet. ironic right? NOW we needed the water but yeah.. not that kind of water.

anyway, im just happy were ok. im still in shocked right now bcoz the last time that that kind of flood happened, i was still i kid so i really didnt know any better. but now, im just in awe. i know storms are really not that unusual here but man! that was some flood. *sigh*

yeah. i wanted to go online earlier since the electricity was ok since last night (day time to u) but we have to do some cleaning, actually until now but the water now is really limited and cleaning up is really impossible to do. im still in shocked. never really thought the water would reach that high. i told my mother if the water reached our floor enough then its time to pack our things but the rain slowed and the water got drained bit by bit. my father needed to swim throught the flood just to get to us, he was still in his office at that time so im like "wow. he swam to get here?" that time, im really in panic mode bcoz getting our things is really tough bcoz we have a lot of things to move if ever. that was some flood really. im concern about the others though. they were hit the hardest. our flood was even "people-friendly", in the other places, flood is just awful. i dont even know where to go from here. my head's just ugh... *sigh* but thanks for that. im in tears right now bcoz im touched that other people care for me. theres nothing really i could say but thank u. from the bottom of my heart. *hugs back JMNP* thank u.. i appreciate this.. u are true friend really. =')

RFM...now you've got me crying..STOP IT!!! ;o) There is no need to thank me
at all. This was a concern....a true, real-life concern that people needed
to know about so they could be thinking of and praying for you and your
family. These boards are for discussion, but they're also to reach out to
others when that time is needed.

You don't know how glad I am to hear that your family is okay. I hope you
hear from your other relatives as well, especially your grandmother. If you
had gone to visit her like you had thought you might, you most likely would
not have been able to get back home for awhile. The story about your dad
having to swim to yor house is so hard for me to comprehend. I did see some
photos in a gallery on one of the sites, which made me even more concerned
for your well-being. I just can't imagine.

I'm sure it is hard to know where to go from here. Clean-up will take quite
awhile, and you'll probably be helping neighbors and all as well. You've
been through so much in a 24-hour time span, and I am just so proud of you
and so relieved that everything is okay...I can't say that enough.

yeah.. i was thinking about that too. im proably stuck there while my house is getting washed away which didnt happened (thank god). i heard from my mother my grandma is ok. and the rest of my relatives who lives close to her. flood never really happens there bcoz tons of trees are there and everything while here in the city, it is inevitable. im just glad they're ok. im concern about my relatives who lives in the city and about other people as well. every news that being shown are just awful.. dead people are just reported now and it adds up by the hours, which is really sad. yeah. i cant imagine that too. good thing his workplace is near, actually he's a retiring military officer so we live near their "base". i actually realized after, when he got here, that the flood couldve carried him away and stuff and that really hit me. good thing my sister was not here at that time. she was supposed to come home yesterday but bcoz f the flood, she couldnt. she works in a hospital and she have to cover more hours bcoz their replacements were stuck somewhere. it was scary indeed. and too much for me. i was just curled up in my bed and trying not to hear anymore from the incoming rain and wind. yeah.. i guess we have to "start over" all over again, good thing our house didnt get tons of damages but we do have a lot cleaning up to do. im pretty sure my mother wont come to work for days bcoz of this. *sigh* i dont know.. this is just awful.. thank u so much for u concern JMNP. i really appreciate it. im just thankful for u right now.. =')

I'm really glad to hear that your grandma is okay and hope that you hear
from your other relatives soon. I'm sure that's the hardest part...the
waiting. Were the other houses around yours damaged at all? I'm glad yours
did not have a lot to it...that will save some with clean-up...or will it?
So when you say "start over," what all will you have to start over? Were a
lot of your possessions damaged?

It is a good thing that your sister stayed where she was and didn't have to
be out in that, then rying to make her way back home as well. So did you
have forewarning about this or was it just a harder storm than what all of
you had expected?

You know if I could do something for you right now I would...so if it's just
to be able to be a listening ear or a shoulder to lean on, then that's what
I can do. Punchy and marce will be so glad to know you're okay. They were
worried as well, but when I got your message that you were okay I hurried
and alerted them.

Punchy was on earlier tonight and was in prime Punchy form. She met ILA, who
found her to be great and very amusing....that's our Punch, isn't it. Punch
and I got into a few "tifts" along the way, but don't worry..no bruises..
LOL

I'm sure she can't wait to talk to you!!!

yeah. cant wait to hear from them. im pretty sure we'll visit them soon. but not right now though. just not this soon. well the lower part of house were under water so we need to fix a lot in that part and fix the problems that we had during the rain. im surprised to see a lot of dripping during the rain. our roof got rain on too much that it started to drip. yeah. my neighbors that doesnt have a higher place to stay in suffered that hardest. im havent seen much or their place but im sure it got a lot of damages. oh we dont know that it will flood this much. its just the rain didnt stop for hours that made it worse that the water just added more than what it already is that it got that high. *sigh* very scary i tell u and we couldnt do anything about it. we just stared for the building flood and waited for the rain to stop. =(

How are you feeling today? What do you mean you never really thought of
yourself that way before? *shakes head* Why does it take a wolf girl to let
you...a *gulp --can hardly say it* vamp girl to let you know how special you
are? ;o) Has the 2nd round hit like you mentioned? I truly hope that it is
not as bad as what the other one was. The hardest part for me was knowing
that you and I were talking when it was going on and that you tried to stick
around so we could talk longer, but of course eventually had to do. That's
the memory that I kept thinking back on....and it absolutely broke my heart
when I hadn't heard anything more from you. Panic mode really set in when
Punchy mentioned how horrible the storm had been and when I started googling
about it. There are so many here that are glad you're okay...vamps AND
wolves included! ;o) Now you have no reason to feel awkward about responding
to any of them.

Speaking of responding, you know...can't say I would have necessarily
reached out and made contact with ILW if it wasn't for you. Fessed up last
night and told her how I never really responded to her posts because I
didn't feel like I could..intimidation factor and all.. ;o) Of course she
thought I was completely nuts, but really..that's par for the course!

1.2 million were still without power, so we were truly hoping that's all

Honestly, right now I don't have flies in my stomach..I have a gnawing pain
of hunger in my stomach! I slept late and haven't had anything to eat yet.

way I'm not too far behind. Discussing it further, we

Yeah, it was pretty interesting on the posts this weekend. ILA and I were up
until 4 a.m. the night that you had to log off early, then ILW came on and
she and I started talking, so it was pretty late when I got to bed, same as
last night. Oh well...I love it and love all of you so much.
Oh...blackbeauty and I got called out by ILW BIG TIME the other night and
were almost stripped of our wolf girl badge. We were using Taycob and
*forbidden word* in our posts, and that did not sit too pretty with her.
I've had to pay some pretty hefty dues to make it right, and she
"threatened" to "unsubscribe" from me if it happens again. LOL---good times
for sure! However...all is well now and we're good to go. ;o)

Glad you got to talk to marce. She sent me a couple of messages before I
left earlier but I couldn't respond too much to her since I had to go. I was
in a rush to get out the door and didn't have time to tell her why, so I
said for her to check with you...you'd give her a quick run-down of the
details. ;o)

AND....speaking of details...where to begin, where to begin...

Let me just start out by saying that I am officially Isabella Marie Swan and
I have to find some way to stop being her...and fast. Yeah...it's reached
that point that I need to say something to him before he truly starts
thinking that more could possibly go from here.

Well..on my way to the park I felt the flies (and so wanted to tell you
right then!!)...even felt a little flutter when I saw him, but after
that..nothing. We walked and talked about a lot, joked...very natural,
easy-going conversation. It felt comfortable...just like friends....like
Jake and Bella (it honestly is sad that I compare so much in my life now to
that) ;o) Thing is....as that was going on of course my mind kept
thinking.."could I see more with him...would I feel comfortable having more
with him? would I feel secure having more with him?" Sadly enough...in my
gut...I knew the answer....No.

He is great to talk to, he is nice-looking, he is kind, he is caring, he is
considerate, he does seem to care somewhat for me and my
interests...but....there are those flags and bells and whistles going off in
my head that he just is not at a point in his life to provide for what I
need and/or want. I know that may sound awful to some, but I need someone
that can be a provider and caretaker for me...not the other way around.
There's too much baggage to have to deal with, and I don't want the baggage.
I've worked too hard to get where I am to have to deal with other people's
baggage. I'm sure that sounds harsh...but that's truly how I feel. If that
were out of the equation would I feel differently, chances are, yes. But
that's not the case, and this is true life and I need to look out for my
welfare also.

As we were walking there reached a point of silence between us, and then he
asked if I'd like to go canoeing again sometime (he was with us on the group
outing a few weeks ago). Right then I knew that I had to find a way to put a
stop to this....maybe he is interested just as friends, maybe not, but I
don't want to give him false hope. I basically told him that the weather was
getting so cool now days that I'd probably freeze to death, but I'd think
about it. Yes, lame I know...but it was the only thing I could think of..but
honestly it's so true..I hate the cold! He seemed okay with that and didn't
ask again. Then as asked me what else I enjoy doing other than walking (even
with that I enjoy it, but not as much as he does). I wanted to bust out
laughing and say, "Well, I have this Twilight discussion board that I'm on
24/7...." but..I didn't..told him I enjoy reading and spending time with my
friends. Then we started talking about friends and all and he commented how
he likes just being with them and talking. So...I don't know.. I'm so
confused here..

We left it that he's going to either call or text me....though I don't know
what I'll say or do. I do know though, that I need to let him know pretty
much now that I don't want to hurt him but we can still be friends. Yes...I
am for sure Bella.

Our teacher didn't even tell us what the test is about!, well, chapter 1 and 2.. but all he talked about was basically functionalism, structuralism, mean, medium, mode... things like that. Should I just study what he talked about?

I'm taking psychology next quarter. Hmm...I wonder. I've had teacher's do it both ways. Only test over stuff they've talked about or test about stuff they haven't even mentioned. I'm glad you were finally able to come to a way on how to study for his
test. I think first tests from profs are the absolute worst! You have no
idea how that test will be set-up, what will maybe be focused on
more...lectures or book info....how tough of a grader he is. Yep, they're
the absolute worst. Keep me posted on how it goes. I'm sure you'll do well.

the way I see it.. No one is going to look at my degree and really look deep into a academic class. A lot of design firms have already said: They look more at the design skills and abilities. Not classes that don't have anything to do with design.

lower percentage of your overall score then it won't affect it as much..and
if you do well, then it can only help it.

It would be nice, but we don't NEED. we can carry on conversations via other, older posts.

I did a couple of spelling tests....started on the math, then got
sidetracked to here...*shakes head* it's the pull....the draw... LOL

is their writing hard to read?

For some it is hard to read...others very easy. Hardest thing is having to
teach cursive..absolutely HATE it. Some can barely write well in print and
stay on the lines, then we have to go and teach cursive to them! It's
honestly a pain. Some do well, some do okay, and others....it's so hard to
get them where they should be with it.

but, best you can be is patient.
I always felt bad for my teachers. I never had the patience to write via hand. I preferred typing. my writing was quick!

That's the problem with some of them..the write so fast that sometimes
things are so illegible in print. Sometimes their cursive is better than
print, but not always. Sometimes I have boys whose cursive is better than
the girls..and I think that's so neat when it happens. good for them!

I got a response back from her about the test as well, and I'm sooooo glad that it wasn't anything like she was afraid of it being. So many times the first test is the worst with not knowing how it's going to be set-up, how the questions are formatted, what all will be covered, and how it will be graded. I hope she gets the results back soon so she's not forced to wait it out too long....waiting is absolutely awful!!

My little puppy is 1.5 years old. Full of energy!
My brothers dog is a 9 year old rottweiler cross with arthritis.

I love it when little puppy dogs are so full of energy and go, and go, and

dog...the little boy in my class with the "dog collar" this morning...he
wound up having to put it in his bookbag and take it home. Too much of a

Oh my gosh, I hope your ok, I watched what happened on my tv today, people were on top of roofs and some were even swimming in the water. I am watching the filipino news in GMA pinoy tv, ( if you know what that is) it was showing how some houses were under water and many people didn't eat for hours because of the flood.

I'm happy that you and you and your family are ok, that was the biggest flood i have seen in the Philippines.

yeah. i do know that. its a filipino channel that is being shown in abroad. good to know u have that channel. aww... but thats just awful that u had to see that. but yeah.. some places are still underwater or at least all over their houses. good thing the flood didnt reached our house. almost though, got me scared bcoz other floods before didnt really reach that high in our house. yeah.. i agree with u. this is the biggest flood we've had this year so far.. the last time i experience this was when i was a kid. *sigh* thank u so much for ur concern.. i really appreciate it. =')

You said in another post that you can't even remember when it was this bad. So that means after you get past this, which you will (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), you'll not have another storm for like ten years LOL.

haha. well hope that that would be case though i dont think it will. our country is like a runway for storms. ok so something trivial for u, they name the storms alphabetically and there was a year (im not sure which one) that we finished the whole damn letters and had to repeat again. can u imagine? but those were not really this strong. well to be perfectle honest, this storm is not really that strong at all. the rain just kept on pouring the whole day that caused for the flood.

Oh, it's the amount of rain ok. Are they predicting the new one will be as long then?

well they really didnt say anything more other than that theres a new one coming. i guess we'll just find out in the coming days. jeez.. i cant even joke and say "bring it on! bring it on!" bcoz i know its possible that we'd get flooded again. scary..

no. we were forewarned but we really didnt know the impact of it. it was not even that strong. i've experience way worse than that but its just that the rain kept on going for hours and hours and hours so i think our sewage have had too much and its just didnt swallow the flood water that fast. yeah.. we're defintely gonna prepare now. though i think we couldnt stop the flood, at least just prepare ourselves during the flood. we'd know better now for sure. though i hope for the same thing too. no amount of preparation could save us from a storm thats just too strong. i guess we'll just see in the coming days.. *sigh*

I never experienced anything quite like that first-hand.. don't live near any big oceans or anything, and we're surrounded by mts. so we don't get hit with tornados and the like. We did have a flood a few years ago from the river near us, but we're up a little too high so we weren't affected. It was nearby, though.. just down our road and back a road where I ride bike and go to the library was flooded, though. My brother got footage of it. It was pretty creepy-looking, so I can't imagine how scary it was to see that and deal with it.

But anyway.. glad we're helping you even if in a minor way. :)

What gets me the most is that she was going through this while we were talking, but she didn't want to log off. Eventually of course she did.....but this is why I am going to be so concerned until myself, or anyone else, hears from her.

I have her email address, so I sent her an email just to say that we're all very concerned and thinking about/praying for her and her family and to please keep us posted, if and when she can. I'll let you know if I hear from her.

Lol I had a dream about a month ago and I was playing Rack Band with Edward!!! I think I actually growled when I woke up because I didn’t want to wake up. I don’t mean to keep going about dreams but I’m going to share anyway :-) One time after I finished the books for the first time I had a dream that I was being chased by a bear, and I ended up climbing a tree. The bear couldn’t climb for some reason, so I stayed up there and found myself yelling “EMMETT!” as loud as I could so Alice could see me and save me. Than a Red or Yellow (I can’t remember) jeep comes flying out of the trees. Emmett jumps out and distracts the bear. I climb down the tree quickly and the back right door opens. I jumped, superman style, threw the door and landed on Alice and Jasper’s laps. Lol. I looked up and sow Jazz had a funny look on his face, and then “realized” I was in a enclosed car with a few small scraps from the tree and two Vampires. Then I said “sorry” and woke up right after Alice gave me a cute smile.

Since we are all bored to the nines, I have a possible conversation piece. So here goes:

Is anyone else for lack of a better word, "concerned" about Breaking Dawn being made into a movie? I feel like we are all in kind of a Edward and Bella honeymoon phase right now, with New Moon on the horizon and Eclipse being filmed, Robsten's in love and all is well. hehe

But does anyone but me actually think about the possible disaster that BD could be on screen. You can't even count the WTF moments. From the honeymoon to the pregnancy, to Bella drinking blood, to Rob asking Jacob to do her, to the birthing scene, to the blood and gore, to the Nessie fiasco, to the imprinting, and then the biggest WTF of all: no big climatic fight scene at the end.

I feel that no matter what team we are on, whether you are all for Nessie or not, or all about the imprinting or not, or you are like me and are still pissed that Leah did not get a happy ending; this could be an epic disaster.

I almost feel that the book needs to be rewritten. Anyone?

Tend to disagree....think the book is brilliant-and I think with the right director (Chris W) the movie can be awesome.

Will they be able to do everything as written? Nope...will they have to change a lot and scale down some of the gore, yep...and we already know it will not be rated R, so the honeymoon will not be what we want; however, SM was not graphic in written form and left it up to the reader, which I found highly erotic...so they could do that in the movie as well..

The whole Nessie thing-it can be done-they did it in Benjamin Button...they can do anything...right director, right script, right amount of money-it can be done.

They will have to scale down a lot of the middle parts of the witnessing-people are freaking out about the imprint thing-it's in the book, so no one should freak it...

Sooo....that's JMO...but I think it will be awesome. It did not need the whole battle at the end...it was the whole thing between Bella & Edward, and Bella protecting Renesme, that was climatic for me.

SM books took Edward from being a pessimist through all 3 books, and finally becoming an optimist at the end...all because of Bella and ability to love him unconditionally...

Again JMO...am I a little nervous??? Yes...A lot will depend on what DS does with Eclipse...

I totally agree with you, I really like the book and I think people tended to get to caught up with what they "wanted" to read instead of the journey the charachters were on. I have read all four books like 7 times at the very least and I still think that the last book is just an awsome ending to the saga. I think that it will take a talented Director to bring across the elements that SM was trying to convey that people may have missed simply because it wasn't going the direction they wanted....

See, I was the opposite of that. I read the book and didn't understand why everyone had such issues with it ... until it sunk in. And then I could actually be objective enough to realize what I just read.

There are parts that I like, but the whole story in general was some f&*ked up sh*t.

My main issues are these: No big fight scene at the end; Leah's storyline not getting tied up; Jacob imprinting on Nessie.

Everything else was mainly fine.

Yeah I get what others are saying, I too would have personally like to see a fight scene but then when I kept reading it, it kinda made sense the way it ended without one, it was Bella's turn to 'save them' and so a mind battle to me was kinda fitting.

I think that it made sense for Jacob to imprint with Nessie cuz he did have such strong feelings for Bella that maybe it wasn't just feeling's for Bella but somehow he was drawn to Bella without realizing Bella was a 'vessel' (sorry for lack of diff word) for the one he was truly meant to be with...

oh and I absolutely LOVED the isle Esme part, SM wrote those scenes perfect, she got you there and your mind made up all the other kinky stuff....lol

I am one that didn't care of the isle of Esme part one bit. So there are some of us out there that hope that scene is just glossed over only to convey she gets preggers.
Also there are so many parts with Jacob in his head, in wolf form...there's a lot of information gained that way. Too much CGI comes off poorly/cartoonish IMO. I don't know. I have a feeling I actually may like the movie better than the book because they'll have to cut out stuff but still. I thought it was a lazy ending.

let me be realistic and give you hope, this is hollywood meaning there will be a fight, which i agree with as long as they don't kill any of the cullens or wolves i am ok with it. i understand than sm didn't do it b/c she didn't want anyone to die for it was just like built something and at the end nothing happen.

what bothers me the most was the whole jake+ nessie situation i didn't like it one bit.too freaky for me.

maybe i was the only one but there was one moment when i felt that leah and jacob would end up together, that would have been a happy ending for both.

i get nessie would tied the wolves and jake to the cullens 4 ever but still and that was probably the main point.

Hey, I totally agree, I love this video of them together, their chemistry is undeniable and they do look really good together.

Even early on, you can clearly see the affection, listen to the part where they say, they revised the script together during pre-production, but there were only 2 nights that were productive.

im really efffing scared about the whole baby-renesme-thing. its been said by smeyer before, but no cgi would look realistic, and they couldnt use a real baby unless it was like, a year old.

I'm replying to everyone up above: the experience of reading that book the first time was so fast because I wanted to know what happened. I powered through it without really thinking about the utter mess that it was. Then I finished it and the reality set in.

WTF did I just read?

I am not completely against Nessie. Yippee, Edwella has a vampire baby. Woohoo, break out the cigars, but SM could have waited at least until they got back from the honeymoon, because that just ruined Isle Esme for me.

And speaking of Isle Esme. Talk about separating the Twilight fans into Team Jacob and Edward. Wait for this: Do we want more lovin' or the chasteness that was SM's version. I don't know about you guys, but the whole "Bella walks over to Edward standing in the water and they swim off in the sunset, then end" pissed me off royally.

But I am actually looking forward to the birthing scene. That was the best what twenty pages of the book for me. Loved the blood and gore and Edward biting Bella to turn her.

And then Jacob imprints and the rest of the book is history. LOL

I really hated all the fade-to-black scenes. Like when Edward can't even wait to get to the bedroom and they just do it on the floor. Or when he grabs Bella and sprints to the bed. Then nothing. I wanted details and SM did not deliver. I hope MR doesn't do that to the script or I will cringe when I'm watching it.

First explanation:

Well as you know human men will continue to sperm even still after the women lose their ability to use their eggs. Ms. Myers figures even if he is dead he still has the ability to sperm even though he is in fact dead. Her theory makes sense to me seeming as Edward was a virgin and he never did use any of his sperm in the beginning so maybe it was just waiting to come out ... lol but anyway seeming as Bella's 'parts' still worked they were able to produce a baby. I guess


Second:

I've been questioning that from the very beginning. Not only do I not understand how he was able to create sperm in his "dead" body, I also don't understand how he was able to get it up in the first place (pardon me).

Getting an erection involves blood rushing to expand the vessels in the penis. If he's technically dead, then he wouldn't have the blood flow needed to create a hard-on....just my thought....

Well, it was on SM's BD faq's.. here it is:

The first seed (no pun intended) was planted when I did Bella's computer research in chapter seven of Twilight. Bella reads about several real vampire legends—the Danag, Estrie, Upier, etc. In the novel, I only mentioned a few of the many legends I read through. One that I didn't mention at this point was the entry on the Incubus. The unique feature about that legend was that the incubus could father children. Hmmm, I said, and I filed that kernel of an idea away for later. When I decided to write the first sequel to Twilight (Forever Dawn), I knew it was going to revolve around a hybrid baby from the outset.

When my editor and I decided to go back and really develop Bella's last year of high school, I did so with the knowledge that it was all going to end up with the events in Breaking Dawn. Everything I wrote was pointed in that direction.

I was always very careful when I answered the "Can vampires have babies?" question, because I didn't want to say anything incorrect, but I also didn't want to make the future super-obvious. I focused my answers on the female half of the equation—female vampires cannot have children because their bodies no longer change in any aspect. There is no changing cycle to begin with, and their bodies couldn't expand to fit a growing child, either. I purposely evaded answering the question, "Can a male vampire get a human female pregnant?" to preserve a tiny bit of surprise in the last book. There were many statements on this subject purported to have come from me, but I never made those comments because, obviously, I knew where this was going.

Now, on to the "how is this possible?" question. First of all, of course it's not possible. None of this story is possible. It's a fantasy story about creatures that don't actually exist. Within the context of the fantasy, however, this is how it works:

Vampires are physically similar enough to their human origins to pass as humans under some circumstances (like cloudy days). There are many basic differences. They appear to have skin like ours, albeit very fair skin. The skin serves the same general purpose of protecting the body. However, the cells that make up their skin are not pliant like our cells, they are hard and reflective like crystal. A fluid similar to the venom in their mouths works as a lubricant between the cells, which makes movement possible (note: this fluid is very flammable). A fluid similar to the same venom lubricates their eyes so that their eyes can move easily in their sockets. (However, they don't produce tears because tears exist to protect the eye from damage, and nothing is going to be able to scratch a vampire's eye.) The lubricant-venom in the eyes and skin is not able to infect a human the way saliva-venom can. Similarly, throughout the vampire's body are many versions of venom-based fluids that retain a marked resemblance to the fluid that was replaced, and function in much the same way and toward the same purpose. Though there is no venom replacement that works precisely like blood, many of the functions of blood are carried on in some form. Also, the nervous system runs in a slightly different but heightened way. Some involuntary reactions, like breathing, continue (in that specific example because vampires use the scents in the air much more than we do, rather than out of a need for oxygen). Other involuntary reactions, like blinking, don't exist because there is no purpose for them. The normal reactions of arousal are still present in vampires, made possible by venom-related fluids that cause tissues to react similarly as they do to an influx of blood. Like with vampire skin—which looks similar to human skin and has the same basic function—fluids closely related to seminal fluids still exist in male vampires, which carry genetic information and are capable of bonding with a human ovum. This was not a known fact in the vampire world (outside of Joham's personal experimenting) before Nessie, because it's nearly impossible for a vampire to be that near a human and not kill her.

I didn't get into all of these details at my signings because it's a long, complicated mouthful. Also, it's hard to be clearly heard with all the screaming. Mostly, though, I waited to do this in writing because I have an immature, Homer Simpson-like tendency to giggle when I say the words "seminal fluids" in public.

Honestly, that book was quite uninteresting to me. Appart of the honeymoon and the final scene where Edward can read Bella's mind, the book was not what I was expecting to read.

And then there's the Jacob part. I think that it's kind of useless. At least for me. I think that SM forgot the romance a little bit and she betted in the action or whatever. In the others books from the saga, she balanced the both factors perfectly but in this book ... I don't think so.

However, I do think the movie has to be split up in two. There's a lot of necessary information that automatically must integrate the film. I don't know.

CW for BD and the chances to be a good movie will improve surely :)

There are information that is REALLY unnecessary and unimportant to the plot. And that specific information was what made the book longer.

Yeah, I heard about the switch in My Sister's Keeper. I haven't seen the movie yet, though I want to. I was so annoyed that they changed it... I mean, what was the point? The book's ending was absolutely heart-wrenching. I actually cried my face off and it stuck with me for a couple days. That's some DAMN GOOD writing.

But anyway.. I'd be surprised if they changed something big in BD that people don't particularly like (ie: the "fight" scene and the imprint) I was unpleasantly surprised when there was no fight and I groaned heartily when I realized Jake imprinted on MFS. Gah!

I think we can all agree that Isle Esme was awesome to an extent. Then everything went downhill from there. Seriously, I love SM, but what was she thinking.

The book is clearly not my all-time favorite of the Saga but it is still a necessary piece because Stephenie likes it and she thinks it's finished with the exception of Midnight Sun ( Damn I wish she would stop pouting and finish it already or rewrite it either one). Well no matter if Stephenie thinks it's finished than its finished. We will clearly need a talented writer and director to bring this book to life.

BD could be a possible disaster but i doubt it could get any worst than twilight and even though twilight was a disaster .. i still enjoyed it so that goes to saying even BD would be enjoyable as long as theres rob. i mean seeing two hours of anyhting with rob will be an upside... and for me.. i really cant wait to see how they put all those scenes together. i can see them making it into two movies ... the first one where it ends at their pregnancy and the second one continuing fromthe birth of reneesmee to the fight scene in the end. i want to see edward and bella get it on in their little cottage on the floor haha.

i was working out(SERIOIUSLY NOT KIDDING) not because of punchy, but because i talked with my mom yesterday and she told me that i spent way too much time in the computer and that my legs can have cecllulitis for not making any exercise!!! and she's a doctor so i freaked out and decided today it was the day to start.
i was ok till everything started spin next thing i was sitting in the floor LOL i almost fainted. Conclusion NEVER EVER GONNA WORK OUT AGAIN, i'll stick with dancing salsa as excercise LOL.
that's not all,
then i had to go downstairs and i couldn't stand up, my legs hurt sooo bad u have no idea, so i was going downstairs and i fell siting in one hahahaha it was funny cuz i didn't got hurt and since i was alone i was laughingh at my self hahahhaa
