If you remember, however, she didn't slap Jake, she punched him. And, as Charlie accounted, she didn't curl her thumb in when she did so.
She only slaps Paul here, with a swift frontal smack, by the looks of it, so there wouldn't be enough impact for her to break anything.
It is possible to smack something hard, like concrete [or whatever is equivalent to the wolves’ new strength] and not break something, whereas a fisted punch could render a few broken bones if not executed properly.
It could also be that Jake's a newborn, whereas Paul has been a wolf for more than a year. Just as Bella was stronger as a vampire, so is Jake stronger than Paul, therefore more impact when he was punched. That's how he was able to head-butt Paul into the trees, for example.

And, apparently, everyone else already cottoned on to all that I said, so...disregard my two cents. cX

I HAVE NEWS!!!! The executive vice president and general manager of advertising for Summit Entertainment comes into the salon I work at every week to get his haircut. He said they confirmed today that Breaking Dawn WILL be made into a movie. (and it could be broken up into two films) He also goes on set of Eclipse quite often and said it is looking really good. His name is Bobby Gerber. (google him, if you don't believe me)

I told him we want Chris Weitz for Breaking Dawn, and that's when he told me it might be made into two movies.(so more than one director will be needed) He is one of the nicest guys. He asked if I had heard any negative responses on New Moon or Eclipse. I told him we think it looks much better then Twilight! lol He agreed and said it will be 100x better. :)

The funny thing is that filming ends in 31st of Oct-2 weeks from now-and we practically know nothing about it!
Maybe Summit want all the focus in NM until it airs,then it'll switch on Eclipse..

I respect your opinion. Just thought i'd make that clear before it sounds like i don't.

But don't compare it to Twilight because, Twilight the book is different to New Moon the book, Twilight the movie is different to New Moon the movie. Twilight the soundtrack will be different to New Moon the soundtrack. I'm just saying that it is going to be different in so many ways.

Twilight was more love songs, more people can relate to, what people want to feel and to dance to. New Moon is more oh, i could cry at this or oh, i just want to sit in the corner and think.

I love both soundtracks, i'll like New Moon a little more when i hear where each song will be played in the movie.

I'm hoping to like it more when I see the move and it relates to scenes...fingers crossed!

I love the way the scene with Bella and the wolf pack, i don´t mind if they change a bit the things in the book because it´s only natural that screen must be visual and that hitting Paul´s face is on top...i love it, as also Felix and Edward fight at the end...so we must hope for more things like this in next films, i can imagine what are they going to "cook" for BD final scene with the volturi thing. there Must be changes if they want to see it working on screen.

Don't know why people get so up in arms about it. Who cares if they want to promote "Taysten." I never got the impression it was to push some form of a love triangle for the actors anyway. Anyone with eyes can see they act like good friends.

I actually think that is the best scene in the entire book (tent scene), aside from when edward proposes and when the cullens teach the wolves to fight; whick is amazing!!!!! and also, the tent scene is Taylor and Kristens favorite scene as well. Robs favorite scene is in NewMoon when he breaks up w/ "bella".

I'm not even gonna lie, once I saw Bella's wig, I thought Eclipse was doomed lol and I know that sounds stupid because the movie doesn't revolve around stupid Bella's hair. But I felt like every time I saw her on screen, I'd say "yep....that's a wig" lol but the wig has grown on me. I could care less about the Volvo...I despised the hatchback in Eclipse. It's so unEdward like to me lol And I knwo I'm gonna sound sooooo mean but the whole Rachelle not being in Eclipse thing doesn't bother me either. Not like they changed one of the Cullens or a member of the Wolf Pack. As long as there's Jacob, wolves, Jacob and Bellaness, the leg hitch and tent scene (which MR better not have messed up or I'm coming after her with a picthfork), I'm cool beans.
