Absolutely. Love that Taylor boy. I can't wait to see him be bitter, though. The end of NM is gonna be my favorite in the film. I'm dying to see him stare Robward down like he's the scum of the earth.

Ugh, no! Leah and Jacob would've been too damn weird. Their personalities would constantly clash, and not in a good way. I agree that it would have been best if Jake's mate wasn't part of the Cullen family, although having that connection is what helped him resolve all his Bella issues. Without it, he never would have been able to move on/get over it 100%.

I think he should have had a normal relationship, no imprinting, like that girl he met when he went off racing in Edward's car. But I'd take the half-vamp baby over a Leah/Jake union any day!

But I liked how Leah and Jacob had such a similar experience and that would've been a great jump-off point to a long-lasting relationship. I think they clashed because they were both so hurt by the ones they loved. Seeking solace in each other would've led to a deep friendship and a strong relationship.

I think Jacob deserved to be imprinted, actually. I'm glad he did in the end.

He's still a knight in shining armor all the way to BD because he does pretty much sacrifice his own feelings to stay by Bella's side, even though seeing her die a little more every day was killing him inside. Strange as it may be, I'm glad he got Renesmee. At least he has the promise of a happy ending, even if he has to wait 7yrs for it.

It was really Eclipse and BD that made me love Jacob. NM was the start but that is actually my least favorite book. Hits too close to home I guess. Plus, Bella annoys the crap outta me, I can't help it!

Bella annoyed me from the moment she said for the umpteenth time that Edward was perfect. I mean, we got it the 1,000th time, Stephenie. We don't need it reiterated.

I'm sure Renesmee was fine and good but Jacob should've ended up with Leah. Jeez. Jacob should have no more ties with the Cullens. They've all treated him like crap. He deserves better than his tormentor's progeny.

I did like Jacob in Eclipse. I loved Edward in Eclipse too. Well, the first half when he was overprotective, anyways. I just love Eclipse. I cannot wait to see that film!

SM annoyed me w/ explaining how perfect edward was..i think i got it the 100th time in twilight and NM and started to make me think bella was just being blinded by "perfection" but yeah eclipse is my fav. and of course i fell in love w/ jacob in NM and never looked back..when i read twilight i dunno..i didnt fall in love w/ anyone i was just reading..ya know? its good though obviously..it starts the saga i just liked everyone honestly but NM came around and jacob just pulled me in but yeah eclipse is more action and slightly more reality bc bella is realizing her two worlds w/ the vamps and wolves and her actions w/ jacob and edward. but yeah edward..i never disliked a character...(not even victoria bc i knew she was hurt) but..he started to work me w/ the overprotective, obsessive, hypocritical ways. but by the end i was ok w/him again..just annoyed about bella and jacob. sorry for easedropping! hahha *swoons away*

LMAO. No problem. I agree with almost everything you said, except for how Edward annoyed you when he became overprotective. I LOVED Edward when he was overprotective. He was a MAN. He was in charge!! So much better than Edward who was like a little pu*** in BD, letting Bella get whatever the hale she wanted. He just needed to be slapped out of that so bad.

I never hated any of the characters either, even Victoria. I did grow to be annoyed with Bella, nearly to the point of hatred, especially in NM and BD, but she's telling the story so what ya gonna do LOL.

Jacob, honestly, was like a blip on my radar when I read the saga. I felt like he was a pesky fly always in the middle of Bella and Edward. BUT you wolf girls turned me around. I really feel sorry for him now. Bella really treated him like ish. It was so unfair of her to do. Poor Jacob. It's gonna hurt to see her squash his heart over and over and over for the next two films.

Oh yeah understandable! Edward wasn't as bad in eclispe but the car
really got to me and Alice & the weekend. But yeah Bella really

My absolute favorite scene in Eclipse (seriously more than the leg-hitch scene) is when Edward yanks the battery out. Seriously. Hi-f***ing-larious!!!!

Kristen really has an ability to make Bella a lot less annoying and whiny and unappreciative of all her fortunes IMO. I think it was mainly because in the film version of Twilight, we didn't have to hear her obsess incessantly. But she has played Bella pretty bad-a**.

I think we interpret the books in such a similar way. I hated Edward in the beginning...well, most of Eclipse. I'm anxious to see him go all tortured wolf at the end of Eclipse when he gets the wedding invitation. That's going to tug at my heart something fierce. And then his suffering in BD...it's painful to read, I hope it's not TOO painful to watch.

Damn straight! I LOVE Taylor and I'm glad he's Jacob but Jacob is really what made the entire Twi Saga for me. Without him, I wouldn't like it nearly as much, if at all. I don't care about Taylor's abs, they're nice but they've got nothing to do with Jacob really.

I fell in love with Jacob for the same reasons Bella did (he lit up my dreary life just reading about his sunshiny/fiercely loyal ways), except I would've been smart enough to keep him and let the Sparkler go. I've had an Edward and I really wish I'd had a Jacob to help me through the aftermath of that downward spiral. I would've been smart enough to appreciate him and never let him go.
If I had to choose between real life Taylor and a real life Jacob, I'd go with Jacob. I don't know the REAL Taylor but Jacob (if he's exactly as described in the books) has touched my soul.

Wow VWL...honestly I could have written that post because my thoughts are EXACTLY the same as your. I love Taylor to death...I do, but you're so right..he is not what makes Jacob. We were just lucky enough to have someone cast that embodies his character and portrays him so well, but I love Jacob for his character and his traits in the book...where it all originated.

His devotion, his caring attitude, his sense of humor, his self-sacrifice, his determination...so much that I just love about him and am so happy that I understand because I read it rather than just seeing it played out on the screen.

I have faith in CW..have liked what I've seen so far, but no matter how good a movie, it's never going to be exactly like a book or be able to capture every part of what is felt or relayed by the characters. That's why people that don't read the books are missing out on so much.

I know! It lets you breathe easily. But, as much as I'm looking forward to NM, I'm not gonna enjoy the mass conversion that's going to take place. We need to buff up security in preparation for that. Taycob is going to need 24/7 protection, Paulex too no doubt. The sexy growl is going to be responsible for massive soaking of shamwow panties. And Samske's voice...no explanation necessary.

I completely agree with you. I want people to know that I was an original, not a fence jumper, and not a bandwagoner. For me it started in the books, way before I even knew that they were going to have a production of NM. To me that's where true Team Jacob fans originate...from what was read in the books...NOT what was or will be shown on the screen.

ummmm....wow. That's mean. Comparing Alex to Taylor can't happen because Taylor's the leading man in NM, so he'll get more exposure. I, on the other hand, don't think he'll go back to "nothing" (I don't think he started as nothing).

Hey there! Obviously you're entitled to express your opinion, but harsh much? Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed? LOL

I really doubt that he'll be "back to nothing," and here's why:

1. Having met him, he's a sweet and genuine person, and really draws people to him. I've never talked to anyone that's met him in person and hasn't totally loved him. That bodes well for a career, easy to gain fans with that kind of personality.

2. It's easy to see that he's extremely committed to his work, and takes it very seriously. That's the kind of actor that directors and studios like to work with. No diva behavior here!

3. I know TONS of Twilight fans that are already big supporters of his, just by being exposed to him in the saga, and I'm sure more will follow after NM. Personally, I would go see any movie he's in, and I bet tons of others would do the same. That means big $$$$. Studios aren't stupid. If people will come see stuff he's in, they'll cast him.

Can't comment on his actual acting, as I've honestly not seen his work yet. But judging by the level of thought he seems to put into it, I'd really be surprised if it's bad.
