They used his own hair in Twilight. They dyed it blonde so he would look like Rosalie's twin. Maybe he had the same problem with his hair like Nikki had when he dyed it. Maybe his hair was falling out.

I think that's why they used the more curly version in Twilight. You can tell amateurish the prom pics are from New Moon's predecessor. One thing that's funny though is that in the New Moon pic even though the coloring and background is a change for the better they look like a flock of geese. It almost looks like they are in aerial formation. I still don't like the wig Jasper is wearing in New Moon, but you're right it is a significant step up from the flat ironed look.

There is so much to consider: the wardrobe, the colors, the hairstyles, the over all tone and mood.

I would have to go with New Moon. One because everything looked so dime store bought in Twilight. Edward pretty much looked ridiculous to me throughout Twilight. Peacoat, nuff said. Sorry, I know some of you really liked it. I really liked the jacket he wore during the car crash and at the hospital, and I loved the blue button down he wore later on, but he wore that freaking thing the whole movie.

I like how the vampires actually look rich and prestigious and that the "kids" if you will look like their father is a doctor that makes bunches of money.

However, the hair was better in Twilight. Bouffant anyone? And Jasper's wig? Yeah, I don't need to go further on that.

So, went back to the station, googled all the bookstores in the Charlotte area, which is about thirty minutes away. I called three Borders, three Books A Millions and finally found one in Concord who had one copy left.

So I drove 45 minutes, using taxpayers gas money, sorry, and drove my a$$ to Concord. Went in and got the magazine, which was bent at the corners, but I still had to buy the dang thing because it was there last one.

Kristen should know what I go through for her. The sacrifices I make to run the pages of mag through my fingers and revel at her beauty and long legs and her middle finger.

OMG, I totally agree. The NM posters are just so much better than the Twilight posters. I will also have to agree about the movie, how some of the characters looked rediculous. I liked the movie ok, but I saw the mess ups that should not have happened. LoL. Like the special effects, those could have been better, even though it was a lower budget movie. I also thought the same thing about how their looks are more sophisticated, like they have the money. Thier looks are SOOO much better. And, i dont understand how they cant just read the book and GET THE HAIR RIGHT!!!! URG!! LoL. I mean, it doesnt look bad, but it doesnt look the best either, so, yea.

I have to agree with your friend in regards to Esme. Though in the Twilight photo above she does not look great, I felt in the movie she looked motherly and refined and classy. In the NM photos that have come out she definitely looks too sexy. I thought she was beautiful in Twilight. Overall, I think the cast looks wonderful in NM.

Anyone else think the color contrast in "New Moon" is better? With all the brown tones it really makes the Cullens stick out. Makes more sense why Bella would fixate on them. Their skin looks more pale and Edward's skin no longer completely matches Bella's. And man do the their eyes POP.

I think Kristen looks SO much better in NM. She doesn't wear that much makeup, but you can tell how beautiful she looks in NM. I think they had like blue eyeshadow for Twilight and in NM they changed it from blue to brown. GREAT IDEA! And for some reason I like her hair better in NM as well.

Definitely New Moon is better, I liked Twilight, but now with something to compare it to, really there's no comparison.

There's stuff I like about both of them.. IDK.. The colors are SOOO much better in NM.. But I don't really Rosalie's hair in NM, I prefer it Twi-style.. And I like the placement of everybody in the Twilight shot- the couples together... But Most everything else is great in NM...

That first poster is so beautiful...it really captivates the haunting sadness of New Moon.

And nothing beats Rob's profile...so win all around!

Everyone has better hair and better eyes. Much more like vampires than just "pretty" in Twilight. I agree with other posts re: Jasper's hair. Why don't they just let him have his natural hair? Much better than whatever they are trying to do to the poor guy.

People are talking about the different colouring in the two movies.
Twilight's is more blue and New Moon's is gold.

Edward's hair looks well nice in the twilight picture, i wish it coulda been more like that in the movie.

I love both posters!!! But overall, honestly... I like the New Moon Cullens better.... with a few exceptions.... (These exceptions are going by how I pictured the characters.....)
now here are the exceptions:
1.) I liked Alice's hair better in Twilight - I know it is described as dark/black and all... but I pictured it as a really really deep brown, with some light brown in it....
2.) Jasper's hair... didn't really care for it in either one... but it is a little, very little, better then twilight.... more like Jackson's natural hair honestly is how I pictured it
3.) last one - Esme's dark makeup.. I know its not that dark, but it just makes her face look darker... when she is supposed to be a loving, sweet, motherly person... when I think of mothers.. I think of lighter tones...

but I LOVE the new moon Cullens... especially the golden eyes! In twilight they weren't bad, but how I pictured them when I read the saga looks more how they are in NM - a brighter tone if you will....

I liked the New Moon Cullens waaaaay better. In the novel, Stephenie describes them as beautiful but with that dangerous edge to their looks, people knew they were dangerous and the Twilight Cullens didn't show that.
I also loved the eyes, they are sooooo great!!!!!

The New Moon promo pics are a huge improvement! They actually bring their characters to life in this picture. The clothing helps a lot but the actors themselves really seem to get their characters and convey them PERFECTLY.

I Love them both.. tho i really like the new moon promo's better they seem like more clearer in a way hehehe its sounds weird but true :) they look more like vampires hehe :)

Okay so today I got a blonde wig and its HIDEOUS!!!!! I dont know what to do now lol.. Im thinking they have that blonde spray, and I could just use that and wear a hat so I only have to spray the bottom... Dear lord I have no idea but all I know is that this "sexy curly" blonde wig is everything except sexy lol

I knoww I knoww but I couldnt think of any other character that was easy to be. I dont have long enough hair to be Bella anymore lol. My hair is like medium length and right now its still brown with blonde chunky highlights but I bought a dark brown/black dye. So if I do that I feel like Im headed more towards alice but I dont dress like alice I dress more like rosalie so I thought it would be easier just to spray on a diff hair color or wear a wig.. AHH screw halloween LOL

You can TOTALLY see the difference between Twilight - Indie director who didn't WANT to make a mainstream movie (blah) and New Moon - AWESOME director who really caught on to how absolutely KICK A$$ the Cullens are.

I kinda "get" Jasper's hair - he was turned in the mid 1800's. Hair at that time LOOKED how his wig looks. IF the vampires can't change, then his hair can't change either (can't be cut with normal scissors, can't grow, etc.)

with no offence to twilight i love it but the looks weren't perfect. i prefer new moon much better. they look more sophisticated, like true vampires. in the twilight they looked a bit like a bunch of actors with bad make up.

I think the simbolism in the first poster should be just the opposite. Bella At the foreground and Edward just like an aparition or something. He is definatelly not the main caracter in this one. Anyway, the poster is cool.

I guess 18 November is so close that I'm starting to criticise everything because I need the actual movie. If they go on giving me little sneaks, then I'm just gonna make such a deep scutiny of them all. jaja

i agree with you. new moon new look is a lot better except few wigs, but never mind.

New Moon, hands down. Ok I have to organize the random fangirl-squealing points running around in my head, so:
1. The gold-black color scheme brings out their eyes
2. Jasper doesn't look constipated XD and he looks dangerous. That's MY Jasper, cause I'm Alice :]
3. Alice looks WAYY quirkier and cuter and Alice-like <3 (you know what i mean, right?)
4. Emmett looks more like a bear :]
5. Carlisle and Esme look younger (closer to their ages in the book) and hotter/prettier
6. Edward doesn't look like some random kid off the street, he looks like a vampire who's mature; he's seen a lot and he's been through a lot.
7. Everyone just looks less like a random bunch of people, they look more like vampires, they look more united, like a family.

So New Moon and Chris Weitz all the way! =D Until you get to the hotness of Jasper fighting like the warrior he is in Eclipse, of course... ;]

I agree with you on every point.. but I do think that Esme has lost a bit of her friendliness, she doesn't look so compassionate anymore...She looks more like a real vampire now, so that's good. I'm looking forward to seeing her fight in Eclipse, wonder what she would like when she's killing vamps..
