Whats the difference between this CD ''the score and the first one...???

A score is is all the more orchestral music that you hear in the background of scenes that sets the tone and emotional context.

Some scenes will have the score music behind them and others will have the soundtrack music behind eg. songs with lyrics.

I have the twilight soundtrack and the twilight score. I can literally listen to the score in my car and i know exactly what scene of the movie it is at...it tells the story via your ears. Your mind associates the music with the scenes!!

I love having both but that's just my personal opinion.

Freaking Amen... Summit has announced that Breaking Dawn has been greenlit!!! Yay! It says they will start filming in September 2010! It is rumored that it will be shot in 2 parts... although that has not been confirmed by Summit, just a rumor about 2 movies being made out of it. I CANNOT WAIT!!! My prayers have been answered!!

Well dangit! Nevermind... Summit realeased a statment saying that it was a RUMOR. I am cussing so much right now it's not even funny. If only I could type my exact thoughts on here...ugh. So Breaking Dawn HAS NOT been confirmed... even though they should probably stop the sherade and just go ahead and greenlight it already, my life would be a lot easier and happier and so would theirs. Because if they don't make it, they will be miserable, lol, I will make them miserable. haha.

Somebody else was saying the other day that two parts would make sense, but that they should shoot everything at one time. Summit and the fans could be happy with that.

It saves Summit money by combining the productions; they make more money by releasing an extra film; the cast wouldn't have to plan for two separate shooting schedules (cuz let's face it, some want to probably move on); AND the fans will get another movie out of the deal.

All are happy in Twilight land.

Everyone says the book hasn't got enough in it to make it into two parts. But if we have it as one movie, we might miss something(s) that is/are vital.

The first 20-45 minutes will probably be the wedding and everything that happens during in that. Maybe including the scene where Edward finds Jake, and persuades him to come to the wedding. Then you'll have the events of the honeymoon, and i could watch that forever... then you have the pregnancy weeks, the growing, Edwards feelings Bellas, the familys. Then you have Jacobs Point of View then the whole Birth scene, and thats where i would stop.

I'd say that takes up to 2 hours. Then when they get to the second part, you could add scenes of the Cullens travelling, Alice and Jasper leaving. The whole Volturi, the cottage scenes, Bella and Edward hunting... I think it's better to have to parts. But thats just my opinion.

There not going to keep all of that in, there will def be cuts for Breaking Dawn, honestly prob some of the Jacob middle parts, That's IF BD is even filmed, so far IMO doesn't look good. Summit just told Gossip Cop BD has not been green lit and no director no nothing has been set. They will prob do 1 film if they do it, the cast seems like they want to move on, escipally KS.

Dont take me wrong I want as much Twilight as the next person (HUGE FAN) but it will pist off alot of people when it comes down 2 okay come back in 3 months for the ending... I can see where Bella wakes up as vampire and leave the movie their but I think it will pist off alot of people specially like the ones that drag the bf 2 the movie all the smack they will be talking in the car and then we have 2 commit murder...

I agree .. there was a lot of talking and more talking and more angst and fluff and did I mention more talking. For pacing purpose, cut all that mess out .. and they could do one movie.

But I am all for an EPIC battle at the end. So if they do that, they would probably have to do two films.

An Epic battle is EXACTLY what Stephenie didn't want. They'll be talking over her dead body, I assume, unless Summit breaks her down.

Or maybe they'll compromise. It's either the mother of all CGI babies or a non-existent battle. One or the other. Can't do both. And you know she'll be Renesmee because of the girly demo.

If I could change one thing, it would be the lack of the EPIC battle. I understand that SM had her reasons for not having one. But this is a saga that is being translated to film. They need to have this big huge climatic moment to end everything on ... or it is gonna fall flat.

Just my opinion, please people don't yell at me.

I'd change that Renesmee imprints on Jacob... or that she had a way more impressive superpower.

Final battle doesn't bother me. It's the addition of all these characters, Bella's preparation, and all that darn build-up like the world was gonna end that annoys the ish outta me.

Isle Esme- 30 minutes.
MFS (conception to delivery)- 5 minutes
Bella as a vamp-30 minutes
All the rest- 20 minutes

Hale no. Isle Esme needs to be an hour at least ... then they can cram all that other mess into the rest. LOL

By the 3rd time I saw Twilight in the theater I could sing every song in the movie...and I did! It was my sister's first time to see it and she punched me a LOT!

I'm kind surprised... for all the hype that was made about Blue October being pivotal to SM for this book, it's odd not to see them on the OST.

I am pretty disappointed in that too. They seem so important to SM and the books but they haven't made it onto a soundtrack yet. :-(

Throughout New Moon Bella sees him as she last saw him, in his suit (which I find actually kind of weird because he didn't break up right after the birthday, but let's forget that for a moment) that he wore for her birthday party.. And he is so unhappy for not being with Bella anymore that maybe that makes him look older (the stress can do horrible things ¬¬)

I think I am in the minority on the wardrobe. I love the suit and the darker colors he has for New Moon. Because I honestly detested the peacoat in Twilight. I know, don't yell at me.

He looked so young in Twilight, which I guess was the point, and then he looks too old in New Moon. But what I have seen of Eclipse, he almost looks just right.

I'm so glad to see the score is coming out. I enjoyed the Twilight score as much as I enjoyed the soundtrack. I was hopeing that Carter would be doing it again but I'm sure this one is hoing to be gr8 too. Is Bellas lullaby on this one too?

I'm really excited about the score, I love film music. The only thing is, we're going to have to wait a bit longer for this.....but hearing Desplat's "Meadow" really makes me think that it will be awesome! Also it's really cool of them to put Meadow on soundtrack CD, it's just a little taste of the score atmosphere.

OH I know, I think "The Meadow" is sooooo much better than "Bella's Lullaby." Every time I hear "lullaby" I think "How the heck is Edward supposed to HUM THIS repeatedly for Bella?? I can't even hum it without sounding ridiculous!" Pfft, maybe it's just me but Carter Burwell's track doesn't even sound like anything close to a lullaby.

Yes, you're right...it really doesn't.....I guess they had to make something completely different...this is something that shows Bella's pain, and how dead the meadow is with no Edward. I really can't wait to hear the rest of the score...I wonder if lullaby theme is somewhere in it.

I guess if I think about the song by itself, sure, it's a beautiful song. But yeah... not as a lullaby.

I think this is going to be very good! I agree about Bella's Lullaby by C. Burwell. I enjoy the tune, but it doesn't really work for the humming parts, etc...
