We have another awesome fan write up from, this time from JacobIsMyHerion who attended the Twilight Convention in Chicago (2-4 Oct) with I Love Wolves, RIMR_ and WolfPackChick.

Here is what JIMH had to say:

I Love Wolves, RIMR_, WolfPackChick, and JacobIsMyHeroin (me!) met up from all corners of the country to attend Twi Con in Chicago last weekend.  We are all avid NMM.org and EM.org fans, this is where we all first met and became friends!  None of us had ever met anyone from the site in real life before, but we took a chance and decided to go on this crazy adventure together.  It turned out so great; we had an amazing weekend and wanted to share our experience with everyone.

Friday we attended panels with Tinsel Korey and Charlie Bewley.  Tinsel is really nice and very sweet in person; we got the first look at the picture of her as Emily with her scar.  Charlie has extreme ADD and kept forgetting what question he was answering!  He talked about the scene where his character Demetri chokes Alice.  Apparently it was an improvised moment between him and Ashley, and he told us there’s a cool story behind it.  Friday night we went to the concert where Mike Welch and Tinsel performed.  Words can’t describe how energetic and hilarious Mike is in person, we were completely entertained!  Tinsel is an amazing singer; we think she should be on the Eclipse soundtrack.  She has a Norah Jones/Jewel type of bluesy voice, and Never Think is even more gorgeous in person.  After the concert we headed back to our hotel, and WolfPackChick spotted Charlie Bewley coming from the bar.  We had a fangirl moment and almost stampeded her like wildebeests running for the lobby when she told us!  She had to block the door to tell us he’d left already.

Saturday morning, WolfPackChick the celeb magnet spotted Charlie again; we had a brief moment of indecision, but decided to calmly go talk to him.  He was personable and so sweet, he asked our names and shook our hands, and told us how much he had enjoyed meeting everyone at the convention.  We’re all crushing on Charlie now, definitely big fans!  Next we headed to the convention for panels with humans Mike Welch and Justin Chon, and wolf pack members Kiowa Gordon, Bronson Pelletier and Tinsel Korey.  Mike and Justin were hilarious, running all over the stage being complete goofballs.  It was pretty much the Mike and Justin Variety Hour!  It can be summed up by one crazy photo, which we’ve attached.  Kiowa is so adorable in person, very laid back and a good sport, he even did pushups and howled for us!  Bronson was unexpectedly quite a firecracker and a big flirt, he was always smiling.  Saturday night was the Vampire Ball, we all got glamorous and were joined by oh_my_cullen, another one of our NMM.org girls!  I had received a spot on the Vampire Court by winning a trivia contest, so I got my hair and makeup done and got a special dance with Justin Chon at the ball.  He was hamming it up the whole time, pulling me around the dance floor and being silly.  I couldn’t stop laughing, it was definitely the most unique dance I’ve ever had!

Sunday we attended individual panels with Kiowa, Bronson, and Tyson Houseman.  They guys were awesome, as always!  Tyson was a very pleasant surprise, his answers to all the questions were thoughtful and interesting, and he came off as very intelligent, humble and sweet.  He revealed that although we don’t physically see Claire in Eclipse, his character imprinting on her is discussed in the movie, setting the stage for Jake to imprint on Renesmee.  Between panels, WolfPackChick competed in the costume contest with an amazing outfit that she handmade herself.  She re-created Bella’s green dress from the birthday party scene in New Moon, and looked gorgeous!

Overall, it was a fabulous weekend filled with amazing memories!  We hope our great experience inspires others that have met on here to get together in real life too.  Thanks NMM.org, for bringing us together and making this weekend possible!!!  We even gave the site a shout-out on the special shirts we had made for the convention!
