I have no doubt he can handle the "fight" scene at the end of BD. Maybe he can put more action into it.

Once New Moon has been released and it makes a gajillion dollars opening weekend, Summit will open their eyes and offer CW the job for BD. Best.news.ever. If that happens, then I will know BD is in safe reliable hands.

That's the problem. Many of us that participate on posts like these know what it's like and what it's supposed to be like. It's those that are new to the game, haven't been around long, or just like to be so negative all the time that cause so many of us to just get fed up with it.

I haven't been over to that post. I'm pretty much staying clear of all posts that have any spoiler clips or comments.

I do know of some that as soon as I see their avi or name I just shake my head and think, "What do they have to complain about now?" I pretty much stay clear of them because I don't feel like getting caught up in the drama, but if they're starting in personally on any of the actors, that's when I have a hard time not saying something.

yes they can be!! about 3 years ago we had a REALLY super huge storm.. wind, rain, all of the above.... and where i used to live, our house was surrounded by trees, and our drive way was right up next to a patch of forrest. It was SOOOO windy that a tree, well over 50ft, blew down and landed on my dad's truck and completely smashed it... and on top of it, that same day, our power was out for 16 hours straight!..... not a very good day! LOL.

Yep. There is always someone trying to bash him. Don't know why?!! I love Robward too, just Taycob more and I am sure there are others too that feel the total opposite. But they don't have to bash either one. Each have their own qualities about them (even the other twi-men) that make them especially great! ;)

I completely agree. If he has a good heart, personality, sense of humor, and a good work ethic, that right there is what it takes. Everything else is just an added bonus. ;o)

Oh man..there was AWFUL Taylor bashing going on the other night, plus some tonight on the post where Jackson was talking about his acting. I didn't read a lot of the comments on that one..couldn't take it. The other post was where he accepted the Scream award for Breakout Performance. LOTS of people in an uproar that it was not Rob and many comments were modded or removed.

I think the same thing about Rob. I like him, but just like Taycob a lot more. I enjoy watching Rob vids, clips, looking at pics, and all, and couldn't imagine bashing him in any way. I wish people would show the same respect to Taylor even if they may not be a fan.

Yes he does need those qualities. I still can't believe people are bashing him. :/ what is wrong with them? Can't they be happy that Rob got the best actor award and let Taylor have his award? They are both great! "shakes head" I haven't really read all of the posts this past week. The one with Jackson was great! He and the other cast members really believe in Taylor and if they ever saw how some so-called Twi-fans reacted like this(imagine Mr. and Mrs. Meraz reading these) they would be sooo dissapointed in them. My opinion anyway. He will somehow show everyone that he isn't going to go away. He will be here for a while just like Rob and Kristen.

I really think all of the bashing stems from people not realizing that Rob is not the main focus in NM....that it falls to Taylor...and they don't like that. Good grief..Rob himself admitted the other day in an interview that Taylor has the lead role and that he's really kind of glad of that because it was less for him.

I believe they feel threatened that Taylor will outshine Rob in this one and are afraid he will be pushed to the backburner, so to speak. True fans of the saga know and understand that this is just part of the sequence of events..that Rob does come to play a larger part in Eclipse than NM, but I think many just don't get that.

Back on here and saw your post in my subscriptions :) I was part of the Jackson post today and had to say something there. I'm glad I did, there were a lot of people that also stated their feelings in regards to how some are being so negative. It was really good to see.
I hate to start things on these boards but I also don't think it's fair that a certain few feel the need to carry on and on about their dislikes of certain people...unfortunately it's usually Taylor/Jacob. However, the more certain people are vocal about it, the more it backfires. I think a true fan of the series hopes that everyone shines just like they did in the books because that is what made us fall in love with them in the first place.

I did see all of that on the Jackson post, and I couldn't believe it. How someone can always be so negative towards one character and actor is absolutely beyond me. I'm glad that many people got on to her about her comments. Maybe now she'll stop and think about some things before she posts all the negativity about Taycob.

I agree completely about someone being a true fan of the series. Someone that is is not going to have such horrible thoughts or feelings towards a character that then spills over into real life. There may be certain characters that I'm not too fond of in the books, but I'm not going to sit here and bash on them when they achieve an accomplishment or finally get a shining moment. I'm just tired of it.

I thought I asked for reasons at one point awhile ago but I didn't get a response. I don't mind discussing these issues at all because I do find it interesting why people are drawn to certain characters over others. So, other than that, how's life? Been busy lately? I was, what with my younger brother visiting from nyc. I still had to work Thurs/Fri this week and my sleep schedule was totally off. Thankfully I have this weekend to recover before I'm back at it full time. Boo.

I was just responding to J-BAG, about the same thing, and honestly, I feel that the hostility, hate, and ill feelings that people have for Taycob is because they really feel that Summit put him out in front further than they did Rob...promoting him more than Rob..giving him more screen time than Rob. These people clearly do not know the book NM and feel threatened that Taylor will come to the forefront and take away from their precious Rob. I like Rob..I do, and I have no issues with him whatsoever. Those that have issues with Taylor, like I said, I really believe it's because they're ticked that he's being promoted more than Rob and that people have claimed for Taylor to have the lead and not Rob. My word...even Rob said in that interview the other day that Taylor took the lead in this one and he was glad to just sit back and take it easy.

Life? Whew..hectic right now. This is the longest I've been on here to post in ages. I miss it. It does stink when you have things that interrupt your routine and then have to try to get back to a schedule. I'm such a routine driven person it's crazy, and I absolutely HATE change; I don't deal well with it. ;o)

Actually, I have only seen it about 7 times in the theater and a couple of times when I bought it. :) lol I started getting hooked on here before I bought it and now I never really watch much of anything anymore.
