I love the bit of Emmett banter with Edward (so funny), and I love when Alice says "show me the love". And just seeing Edward and Edward/Bella together is a treat. Edward looks better and better with every scene *sigh*

However there is one thing, did you guys see the cast's answer when they were asked about Eclipse? They all referred to Eclipse as an "action" movie, and I was like "say what?!!!". I really hope that they don't ruin the series by tryiing to make it into something it is not. The Twilight Saga is an epic ROMANCE!!! Not an "action" movie, geez!

And also I was saddened when Ashley spoke about fighting the new borns, Alice in the book does NOT fight, because Jasper does not allow any of the new borns to get close to her, I remember this part clearly because it's the part that cemented to me my like of Jasper/Alice as my second favorite couple. But I guess they are going to ruin that as well in Eclipse.

But anyhow, I refuse to let bad Eclipse news ruin my excitment for NM! I can't wait for NM!!

Im glad I didn't watch MTV all night just to see this little bit of Rob and KS, I watched Ghost Adventures "LIVE" awesome LOL anyway I did like Kellan and Nikki in the haunted houses.... ;) I will say this again I think Eclipse is going to be brought to a hole new action level! ... also the sexual tension LOL

I've been on other site watching the extend b-day clip also. I have to say I am a little disappointed in some of the fans negative comments on acting, appearance, etc... on these spoiler scenes that have been intentionally or unintentionally share with us. Everybody is entitled to their opinions, but please give it a rest and stop criticizing. It's not like this movie is going to win an Oscar or Oscars (although I may wish). Everybody is going to have a different interpration because we are individuals. I undertstand that these movies is not going to please everyone because we see things differently...however, please just be thankful that we get to see adaption of our beloved Twilight books.

We are thankful. But, different people have different expectations and opinions. Like you said, everybody is entitled to their opinion. And they can voice them however and wherever they like....

....as long as they dont curse and make me have to lose my modding cherry. I would like to keep it.

I respect your opinion, I agree with you to a point. people's negativity can be a bit annoying after a while. Especially if that is all they do~b*tch about something in the movie not matching the books. But, I am one of those people. I had NOTHING positive to say about the Twilight movie. Dont even get me started. And, I have no qualms about voicing my opinions. You dont have to read my comments about how much I hated that movie. That is the great thing about having a choice. You can choose to read or you can choose to ignore my babble and move on. LOL

I think I'm in between the both of you. I hated Twilight the first 2 or 3 times I saw it. But being the insane fan I am, bought the movie anyway and watched it over and over. I eventually grew to respect the movie if not love it. I think CH did the best she could with the awful script and low budget that she was given to work with. I do think that Twilight's insane success has made everyone at Summit rethink their approach to the series. They have seen how dedicated the fans are and realized *hopes anyway that they have realized* that they will make more money if the book fans are happy and satisfied.

I love reading everyone post on here. Twilight fans are the best fan ever. I actually have never been a fanatic on anything. It's my first time. I respect everyone's opinion and trust me, I have lots of things I don't like about New Moon (from what I've seen so far) and Twilight. I just feel some people are so negative all the time and that it sort of brings a negative vibe to everything.

I just kinda of feel after I read comments from others that my friends and I were the only ones that loved Twilight and I read the book before going to see it so I know how the book was but I walked into the theatre not expecting it to be page by page because sometimes what is on paper is not going to be interesting going onto screen and maybe they could have put more into it but overall I was happy.

I completely agree the Twilight filmwas by far one of the worst films Ive ever seen.. especially acting wise... Even my husband was upset. I felt like crying after seeing it. I really hope New Moon makes up for last year.

This is like the best thing EVER! I'm so glad I watched it!

I was laughing more than anything. Initially I thought the scene and the acting was awkward to be completely honest, but I think it's great now after a second viewing! Parts I loved:
1. Emmett's joke: "Date an older woman. Hot!" - the way he said the word 'Hot' cracked me up! It was totally how Emmett would say it so well done Kellan!
2. The way Edward looked at Emmett after the joke!! He's blatantly like "Shut up. Just stop." People who haven't read the books may think Edward has no sense of humour but I LOVED his face expression.
3. When Bella sticks up for her truck. That good old ancient Chevy truck she has lol...
4. Jasper's face: Badass. Nuff said. Love it.

The interviews were really nice, and Kellan and Nikki in the haunted house were really fun to see, I would behave just like Nikki if I was there, I scare really easily! =)

But I must say (and I don't mean to spread negativity or anything), but the birthday scene, it had me cringing a little, it didn't feel right somehow. Like all the characters (NOT the actors, so I'm not hating on their performance) were a bit stiff and uncomfortable. In the book, weren't they all happy to be celebrating her birthday? Edward seems a bit off, like he doesn't want to stand next to Bella (remember, this is before the papercut, so he has no hesitations then, right?!) and everyone just seamed a bit odd, I don't know.

Does anyone agreee or have a different opinion? I am happy to have a discussion. However, it's always difficult to tell the feeling of a scene by just seeing a few seconds, so I'm sure it's gonna be great once we see the entire movie. =)

I was thinking some of the same things the first time I saw it too...but after a few times I really started feeling it. Edward is smiling the whole time(so cute) but is hesitant because he knows that Bella is uncomfortable. Carlisle and Esme are so sweet with their comments when she is opening her gift from them and Rose and Emmet are perfect, their personalities are really starting to show and I think the actors nailed it.

Yes, I did feel that Rosalie, Emmet, Carlisle and Esme were really good, they acted the way you expect their characters to act. But I don't know Edward and Bella did seem a bit off somehow. Agree with Effing, Rob and Kristen look more relaxed standing next to each other in real life than they do as Edward and Bella in this clip, lol.

I think you're right, but I think Bella was uncomfortable during that point because she didn't want a fuss over her birthday, then they all started giving her presents and attention and I think that's what did it. Also, she's uncomfortable because Rosalie is there and Bella knows Rose isn't her biggest fan. I think it's great that Emmet adds some comic relief and Alice is her usual bubbly self. I think the movie is going to be great! But whoever made that comment about the paper cut not bleeding that much, you're so right, and that was a little distracting. A single bead of blood would have been just fine, cause I'm pretty sure that's all it took in the book for Jasper to wigg out. They must have just added it for dramatic effect.

I agree.. when Alice takes the photo they both make these... faces. I don't know.. but hopefully the whole scene will feel better when we see the whole movie:)

Yeah, those faces they made when Alice made Edward stand next to Bella, that's what bothers me the most about the scene. I mean, this is the beginning of New Moon, they're supposed to be amdly in love and not be able to be without eachother. That felt more like after the birthday party, when Edward has already decided to leave, and Charlie takes a picture of the two of them in the living room. When they stand next to eachother and almost have to fake smiles for the camera, because it's so tense and weird between them. Anyway, hope it gets better =)

I thought it was great. I mean Bella didn't want a party in the first place she doesn't like all the attention and she did small so it wasn't as if she hated being there but uncomfortable yes because she doesn't like the attention and it kind of rubbed off on Edward cause he knows that she doesn't want this and that she doesn't want gifts but is more like putting on a show to make them happy so I can see how you all feel that way but I thought it was how it should be with Bella not wanting a party in the first place or gifts.

Yeah, you might be right, I will try to think of it that way when I watch it. But I am positive that the whole movie is gonna me amazing, everything else I've seen this far is wonderful and all the performances are great, so I have no fear about that. =)

I agree as well. They did seem uncomfortable with having to stand beside each other. THey look more comfortable in real life pics than they do in a movie where they are SUPPOSED to be in love with each other. LOL

I think CW meant to emphasize the fact that they are vampires and they do want to suck her blood LOL. CH didn't do that and we're all accustomed to how she had the Cullens behave so comfortably around Bella, but I don't think that's the reality and I don't think her depiction of the Cullens as normal was a well-rounded one.

And I don't think that Bella saw the reality either. It's her perspective so she's not going to see things the way they would.

So yeah, I get the stiffness.

You're alot stronger than I am, I'm trying really hard not to watch all these spoilers, but nooo, I'm too weak. =( However, I have refused to watch the break-up scene which is out there on the internet somewhere, I will NOT see that until the actual movie, NO WAY!! I am bringing my tissues to the theater, and I want the full impact of it then. =)

I've seen some things, just not big stuff, like the companion. Still haven't seen that LOL.

I think that first off, we were watching it here at home, when you are in the theatre you will feel differently plus Edward can read minds you know so I think that maybe since Rosalie was there and she doesn't like Bella and so it is a little tense you know. It is hard because the book was written in Bella's perspective so we don't know what Edward is thinking during those moments. I think that Edward still feels a little awkward to his family that he has a human girlfriend you know. I know that when it is on the big screen, it will be great. I enjoyed it myself.

I loved the clip. I don't think the characters were acting stiff, I think that Rosale was acting like a b**** which is percect, Emmett was being a jokester, Carlisle and Esme were as polite as ever, Jasper was being silent like usual, Alice was being her usual, up beat and happy self, Edward and Bella were together, and when someone wants to take a picture of a couple and says "Show me the love" I would be a bit embarrassed too. What are they supposed to do, make out? I think they nailed that scene. Bella is uncomfortable because she didn't want to celebrate her birthday, and here she and they are getting her all those presents and she is still upset over the fact that she is turning 18 anyways.

As for us having seen the whole movie already, I don't agree with that. I do think they are releasing too many clips, but I don't think that if we put them together, it would give us the whole movie. If you think about it, the three trailers that were released have a lot of the same footage, and the clips they showed stem from the trailer. I think that we have maybe seen 15 minutes of the film (MAYBE) with all that stuff, and there are leaked scenes which we weren't supposed to see, so we can't blame Summit for the fact that we watched them, like the ones from Comic con. (I don't think they should have shown them there, but still, you can't blame the studio for someone putting it on the internet and then us watching it).

A friend of mine took ALL her New Moon downloads and photos and did a bunch of math. She estimates that Summit has already released 35-40% of the movie in the form of trailers, previews, stills, etc.

I'm sorry, but Chris Weitz said it best "Sometimes, less is more." They've released so much of the movie info, and it's been so heavily promoted that I've totally lost interest in seeing the movie. I'm not excited about it. I'm annoyed by it.

If that is correct, that would really suck. But I don't necessarily believe it.

I feel like we have seen seconds or glimpses of so many clips, and I am annoyed by it too. But I have to believe that there is a lot we haven't seen. For example, the pictures in the New Moon companion have pictures, but that doesn't mean I know anything about the scene, etc. Who knows, maybe I am making excuses, and trying to put all this in a positive light - it is very possible I am being blinded by everything, or just too stubborn to see the truth.

Like I said, it is not Summit's fault that we click play on everything, especially the illegal downloads, and ones that they keep taking off youtube but some fans keep putting on anyways.

They should stop, right now. SUmmit should stop. We have enough. Yes, these three weeks will be tough. But Nov 20th will be all the sweeter if everything else remains a surprise.

She described it to me a bit. She included the run time of all the clips. And Summit HAD to know that everything they show would get leaked. She said she counted 2 seconds for every unique still image that was released too, that's books, magazines, and television shows. She spent a lot of time on this, and I'm curious if she even managed to find all the released stuff.

I would LOVE it if they didn't do all this promotion for Eclipse. Imagine how many people would be scrambling to get to the movies opening weekend if they hadn't already seen at least 15 minutes of released footage, tons of photos, and already had the movie companion and sountrack released. I would have preferred it, at least. Some people would have been rabid, but I think that would have made it more exciting.

i feel like i've seen the entire movie already. This totally caught me off guard though, i was channel surfing and right when i landed on MTV did they show the birthday clip. Then, i had to stay up till two in the morning to see it again afterwords watching Liev in Scream 3.. good, sexy night lol.

Alice, Emmett and Jasper are PERFECT. Ashley, Jackson and Kellan did a really amazing job playing them. Love Esme and Carlisle aswell<3

The scene is perfect: Alice in her own element partying and having fun, Emmett well...I love that line even though is not in the book because it´s simply Emmett´s...Bella shy as usual but sweet in her on shyness...Edward well, with a look to his brother like WTF but inmediately the look like "it´s Emmett" but such in love with bella, the little smile on her hair is....hmmmm!, Rosalie as stiff as usual and it´s funny because it´s the first Alice designate to give the present to bella...very much Rosalie and i liked it, Carlisle and Esme smiling with complicity and love and another Emmett´s pearl about the truck....ohhh....and the paper cut the look in edward´s eyes you can "see" he reads minds...and the look in jasper´s face....ahhh...I need to be calm but they know very well what they do...give us a little bit but leaving the most important....

Kellan is the best! I loved the haunted house clip! Emmett is going to make me crack up in the theaters with the "Dating an older woman" joke. And haha, Ashley is so awesome! I love her 2012 joke thing!

ome..i love the "dating an older woman..hot!" line that emmett says! and then edwards gives him this hilarious look...and then emmett looks clueless and says "what?" ome i kept repeating that and cracking up! i like this paper cut instead of the orginal one they had...this one looks more realistic.

I just love Emmett in the books. He made me laugh. I am glad that they gave him those lines, because I was worried that they would leave some of his lines out of New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, so now I have hope. So now I hope that they keep true to the books on his part anyway. He cracks me up and those dimples.

People from various sites say that the acting is pretty bad and the scene was very uncomfortable/awkward to watch.
