Awesome new footage of New Moon that was released today via iTunes. Bella lays the smack down on Paul. Paul is all “its on like Donkey Kong!”. And Jacob is all “Oh no you just didn’t!!!”.

The wolves look great! Much better then what they looked like in previous trailers! Jacob Wolf made the hair stand up on my arms!

I don’t know about all of you, but I am SUPER giddy and excited today! Not only was I finally able to pick up my copy of the New Moon Soundtrack (it was just released in Canada today) but today is October 20th!! One month before New Moon opens! (Unless you are in selected areas, that get it earlier!). Squeeee!

4 weeks to go guys! What are you going to wear to the movie? How early are you going to go and wait in line? I’d tell you how early I’m going but you may laugh!

LOL - yeah, that could be a "minor" issue... I know my concern - damn squealing fangirls. I said it when Twilight was coming out, and I'll say it again. I'm bringing along a BIG roll of duct tape. If you feel it necessary to scream everytime you see a shirtless wolf or Rob cross the screen, I will feel it necessary to ASSIST you in being QUIET. And when they come to arrest me and physically remove me from the theatre, I'll be the one yelling at the projection window.... "REWIND, I COULDN'T HEAR WHAT THEY WERE SAYING!!!!" Just watch me. You do NOT want me to go off on you, squealing fangirls, so SHUT IT. They can't HEAR YOU, DAMMIT! **steps off soapbox**

duct tape. I'm telling you, it works. I even precut the strips, and offer to let you apply it yourself.... the first time... then I get to apply it. And if I accidentally forget to leave the nose uncovered... OOPS! my bad... DON'T get between me and my half-nekkid Rob. I want to hear HIS voice, not your pathetic squealy screetching that gives the man paranoia... seriously, I am older than you, it's pretty much guaranteed that I'm heavier than you if you're the average sized 80lb soaking wet teen fangirl, and it will HURT when I SIT on you to apply said duct tape. well u don't have to worry about being attacked.. I'm gonna get it for this one... I THINK.... Kristen's acting is better, the wolves look better... however Alex looks silly, i feel the music should be louder, more intense, when jacob yells BELLA, it should be ringing in our ears and his running should look/ be faster, the frontal of him running looks off too, not natural...*sigh*... whats up w/ the line... look out little girl... who put that in there... MR?! ... the whole scene needs more power ... not bella hitting paul power!!... ruins the whole punching scene for eclipse... that is a major thing, she could have just pushed him too... and since they had that in there, she should have been farther away so it seemed like he had to chase her, the growlings great, but its not so intense when a wolf is walking after you... bellas scream was better in the first trailer ... I am sad now... alright... come and get me!.... lol

*points to self* I am a mature person, I won't go after you... much! ;) I love Alex, myself, so for me he's awesome... yeah, Jacob's running is a little awkward there, and the whole dialogue is an MR nightmare... but the slap doesn't bother me. Cuz it's a slap, not a punch - I've slapped some things (and people, I'll be honest) pretty damn hard, and it stings more than anything... but a slap won't break your fingers near as easily as a punch. so I think that'll be OK... someone else mentioned that Paul is more aware of her, so may have reacted lessening the impact - when Jacob kisses Bella in Eclipse, his eyes are closed - and a punch does one HALE of a lot more damage to your hand than does a slap... your idea of pushing is good, too, but I have to say, I love me some angry Paulex... :D

hey, I know I'm totally butting in (gah! I'm kinda good at that) so sorry, but I have to say that I do agree with you mostly! I was trying really really hard to love everything about the scene.......and I do love it, but it was a little awkward, with Jacob's running (kinda looked like he was about to fall there for a minute. and I was hoping to see the "Paul wolf" really like trying to go at her, not really "stalk" her like it is on here. I also, as leader of team MRcansuckit, feel compelled to call MR out on her sucky dialogue, of course! With the exception of Kstew......she absolutely rocked this scene (and I'm a violent person, so I'm loving the slap, even though it's nonexistent in the book), but her demeanor and anger is done quite well! Maybe it'll look better during the movie and maybe the music will be louder......maybe?? Sorry...... Carry On...... ;-)

Butting in!... oh, i dont mind, i get in peeps biz all the time, makes life messy, its more fun that way... lol... I watched it about 150 times, to see if "love" could be ignited, but no... i got to like/infatuated then like/like, but no love.... I thought tay was going to break his leg, the way he landed, he did look like he was about to fall, and in the book, jac just barrels into paul b/c he's gunning for bella, they just growl at eachother here... I'm a good growler.. grrrrr.... I was actually suprised by KS, she did great, i felt her anger, im all for violence, the push and the slap just dont make sence overall... she should not have been able to move sam at all, i mean he's alpha, and her hand should at least be hurt in some way, makes em just look like reg wolves, just bigger... not one's w/ strength to kill vamp's and super healing powers, it just doesn't have that fierce edge to them ... my bf said almost the same thing, if these wolves are so bada**... how come a lil girl can slap them, makes em look weak... ________________________________

I had the very same reaction when I first saw it. Speechless. This movie is going to be f-ing amazing. The wolves look amazing. Fiesty Bella works perfectly. And Alex as Paul... seriously one of the best casting decisions.

Ok, here's what I think (and since noone answered you in 7 hours, I figured I'd go ahead and try, hope you don't mind!) I think that Jacob being in Bella's room is definitely going to be before this scene. I think what they've done in the movie is bipass the whole, "Bella dreaming and having a nightmare then waking up and realizing what Jacob is" thing and maybe they're going to have her still trying to figure it out after he leave and she then goes to confront Sam because she's possibly starting to understand but is still angry, blah blah. Yes, though, I'm pretty sure that she hasn't figured it out for sure until Paul changes in this scene. It's off from the book, but not by a huge amount, so I'm ok with it. as long as it's pulled off well in sequence, I'll be good. Does that help at all??

EXACTLY!!! Had the same thought!! My concern is that in Eclipse, when she breaks her hand hitting Jake--brings out one of the best Edward responses/Jake quip fests--- "If you bring her back damaged again, [even if a meteor falls on her] etc..."... so if David Slade cuts out the breaking hand, will we miss this banter... I hope not!

Yes, it's a pretty pivotal moment - what with Jake kissing her and her reaction. I have no idea how they would address the difference. So many times in Eclipse, Bella pushes against Jake and describes him as a a brick wall - hard to move, solid, strong. Though I like Bella being so protective and bold in this clip, honestly how will they explain her not getting hurt and able to push them around so easily, unless they do not even go with that angle. Keep the wolves more mortal? I dunno.

I don't think he recoiled in pain or anything. He saw it coming because they were in a confrontation, and he was kind of backing away a little. When she punches Jake, it's right after he kisses her, and I don't think he was expecting it, which is why he didn't notice until she is screaming in pain. I'm sure it will all make sense when we see the finished product! Anyway, wow, those boys looked insanely hot in that clip! Can't wait for the movie!!! Did anyone else tear up just a little when Jake came running to defend her? I am totally team Edward, but holy crap, Taylor just might make me switch to Team Jacob!!!!

I'm designing my own Team Jacob shirt that is actually a jersey. It's going to look extremely amazing! I've already had radio stations wanting to promote my shirt. It's going to be epic. The front of the shirt is detailed with a picture of Taylor Lautner on the left side and in a vertical format the words "TEAM JACOB" on the right. The back is detailed with my name on top and under in smaller letters it says "Twilighter #1" (it's a group of us and we're all numbered. #1, #2, #3, etc.) and at the bottom (lower back area) it has my favorite Jacob quote "The clouds I can handle, but I can't fight with an eclipse" and on the left lower back side there is a wolf paw. Doesn't it sound incredible?! That's what I'm wearing to the premiere. Our group is getting there for the line at about 3:30 p.m. We want good seats! ;DD We plan on recording everything that goes down. We'll be tweeting all the deets as well! The only negative comment I have is that Sam is suppose to be the Alpha the leader of the Protectors, and he did not have much control of Paul which also happens in the book until Sam calms down Paul and Jacob. Yes, but he has control when they are all wolves. At that moment none of them are wolves. As humans, they all still have their free will (to a point). I think if Sam had foreseen that happening, then he could have given the edict of 'no attacking Bella' but no one knew she would pull that. I really liked that part because it highlighted how Sam's (or any alpha's) orders need to be explicit and clear PRIOR to any emotional outbursts. Anger is one of the triggers to phasing so it makes sense that once the fool was angry and Sam was still human, Sam could not control the situation. I think it also shows how packs do still think individually. Remember in BD while it would make the most sense to send Quil and Embry to talk with Jacob about returning to the pack, Sam doesn't send them because of the free will they possess as humans might compel them to leave the pack.

I did see a bunch a similarities between my BFF's teenager/mom relationship to the Sam/Paul relationship. My BFF tries to exert authority and her kid just doesn't listen. Then the kid gets in trouble and promises to listen. (Please don't think I see all teenagers that way because i do not their situation is unique, like phasing teenagers LOL.) I did the EXACT same thing when I saw this........but......I did it even more when the third trailer came out with the Volturi and the Cliff Dive and the "Bella! Yes certainly they will have security because it will be so packed. They will be concerned about people trying to sneak in without tickets. I'm sure that it will be fun unless you happen to be in a theater with too many crazies. I already expect the worse with a whole lot of hollering and screaming. I feel better when there is security on the lookout. I love me some Robward though. I cannot stand if he is not in the film at all. well i am attending the midnight show with my mom and my cousin and will be wearing my black short sleeve babseball t (red letters CULLEN 17) to work that day and then i will change into my white / baby blue 3/4 sleeve shirt that says 11.20.09 (red leters) i will probably check with the theater to see what time they are allowing the line to form for the movie but i will be there at least 3 hours early just hanging out if necessary to get a good spot in line for the best seat possible to view NM!! *i will probably have to tell a few young squealing girls to shut it once or twice but i am ok with that bc i paid money to see this movie and unless they want to pay me back then they will show some respect to others!! We have a theater down here in SoFlo where you get to sit in these big comfy love seats with your honey and the best part is you pick your seats when you buy your tickets on line, so I already know I will be sitting dead center in the center. Yes I stalked the movie theaters website for weeks in order to land those seats and yes I was first to purchase tickets for the showing I got on Friday night. So there is no need for me to camp out in order to get the best seat in the house. =P P.S. Did I mention there is also a full service bar at this theater? =P

I think I might have an idea to the whole thing about how is it possible for bella to hit paul and not be hurt by it when in eclipse she hurts her hand and jacob doesn't feel a thing. My theory I think Bella slaps paul and because she only slaps him it doesn't hurt her that much maybe a sting in her hand from slapping him so hard. In eclipse she punches jacob so a lot of people break their hand from punches not too many people break their hands from slapping someone. That's my theory anyone want to take a crack at it. Oh yeah I guess this is where bella finds out that Jacob is a wolf?

I cant wait 29 more days, HOWEVER, I guess it is a plus that i will be seeing Kellan Lutz in person on Saturday, at a local Hockey GAme. Im just oooooozzzzzzziiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggggg with anticipation!!!!!! Anyone have any ideas what i can have him autograph, besides body parts *giggles*......... Also already bought my tickets for New Moon, think I'm gonna stand in line about 6:30, I WANT GREAT SEATS!!!!!!!

ok yeah im excited 4 new moon and all but this clip kinda makes me mad cuz when bella punches jacob in eclipse she brakes her hand and in this clip nothing happens after she punches paul makes no sense now it just makes me wonder what there gonna do in eclipse if they try 2 put that in there???

great clip! stop driving yourselves nuts analyzing the scene. we haven't seen the movie so who knows, there may be a scene before this where bella finds out about jacob or a scene after this where bella realizes she hurt her hand. shoot, i just did some analyzing right now. oh well. all im saying is just enjoy the clip for what it is=amazing.

Im totally TeamEdward but that was totally flipping AMAZING!!!!! I have to also say Kristen acting is very beliveable just from that one clip... I have a new found love for New Moon.. I read it over vacation in its entirety for the 1st time and liked it way more then I thought I did... I also realize Bella hears Edwards voice A LOT!

Holy heart failure, Batman! That was awesome! The wolves are perfect.....eeeeek cant wait!!! Gosh it seems like Nov 20th is so far away. I got my ticket for the advanced screening on the 19th...get this a 10 pm show....LOVE IT!!! Still seems like too long to wait in anticipation and its only getting worse everytime they throw out another teaser.

I'm pretty sure this is actually going to be the big reveal for Bella, and that she has no idea Jacob is a werewolf. I didn't really know how I felt about that at first, but I think it's a bit more intense than what happens in the book, and I think sometimes more intense is just better for a movie when it comes to revealing a werewolf. The reveal in the book was perfect for a book, but the reveal for the movie is perfect also, because you just need a more visual reveal then her remembering the stories.

OK love that bit but I have a BIG But... Bella was supposed to find out about the wolfs by herself... apparently Chris didn't stick to the book as well as he says.... its clear in this part that Bella didn't knew that Jake was a werewolf... in the book she knew before she met the pack... i don't know I hope that is the only thing he changed...

yes yess yessss squee! itss a huuuge squeee :L i bouught mine and my friends tickets the other day. Like "acctual" ticketss! Sooo no waitingg forr get em ;] .. jus gettin ther like and hour early to get the front seats! :D Buut i've been litterally bouncing over the last two days. got the tickets monday and i jus screaamed :L .. and thennnn thiss videoo had me hooked for about half an hour :P watchin it over and over like i did with allll the trailerss!
