WHY are people complaining about Kristen? How does she not do a good Bella? I think it was the script in Twilight that was a bit off. I don't know why they made her act that way during that scene in the hospital, when Edward said he would leave Forks. But I watched the breakup scene that was leaked, and she did an AMAZING job!! Edward such such an f***ing a**hole in that scene, you could see Kristen shutting down even before they really started their conversation, because it was clear her character had picked off on his coldness, his jerkiness, his meanness, etc. But then I go read the comments on youtube,... and people are already complaining about her performance! I think there is some SERIOUS JEALOUSY of Kristen going on. She is not a bad actress, but people hate her for the break up scene because what...please explain it to me.
I am not team Edward anymore, and I'm not team Bella. (And I would never be Team Jacob anyways.) I was team Chris Weitz for a while, but because of all the bashing going on in regards to Kristen, I AM TEAM KSTEW!

For all those wondering where this rant is coming from.....it isn't coming from this discussion board, or website, it is coming from other websites, and I feel like taking my anger out here because you guys are so awesome.

Let's just get one thing clear here.

Kristen works with the hottest young actor that turns grown women into amoeba and little girls into shrieking banshees yet she's still sane. Applaud her for that LOL.

Seriously though, all those people who read NM and expected Bella to be a blubbering whimpering idiot throughout this scene fail to realize how utterly shocking this break up is to her. She cannot imagine her life without Edward. She cannot live without Edward. And he not only breaks up with her, but he abandons her indefinitely, after he promised he'd never leave her in Twilight. How could Bella have any sort of emotion after he cut a hole into her heart? That's why she falls to the ground and effectively loses consciousness. She metaphorically dies after he leaves.

I'm so sick of hearing these Kristen haters. She's Bella. There won't be another Bella. Get over it. Move on. Dang.

I know....can I just say that the only thing keeping me from seeing the movie opening day is the fact that these screaming idiot girls cant keep their mouths shut. We get they think Jacob or Edward is hot. I just can't deal with them thinking people would rather hear their screaming voices than actually be able to hear and enjoy the movie.
I know those screaming girls won't be gone from the theaters for weeks, but....I will have to make do. And practice my kicking before I go to the theater.....LOL.

I loved how Kristen pulled off the breakup scene. You can see her trying to make sense of it while he is saying it to her, that even when she yells that she is coming with him, you can see she really knows he won't let her, he has already made up his mind.

I like what they did with the scene. They kept it close to the book, yet changed it in a way that worked for the screen. In the book she shuts down, she works through everything in her mind. On screen, you can see the scene has that element, but they let Kristen do more with Bella. She shuts down, almost from the beginning, but she has a will in her to fight.

If my memory serves me correctly, SM explains in the book that Bella doesn't shed a tear or cry, she is in this shocked state and can't move or function. I think people are falsely expecting to see Kristen with tears running down her face.

i agree...and yes in the book, bella doesn't cry.,..she's in shock...and yes she screams in the following days to come...nod and bow to kristen for perfecting that screaming scene...

people want to see a break-up scene that is commonly seen all the time..i love that scene and love kristen's look and expressions..people will alays complain and it's stupid when their complaints are trying to deviate from what's actually in the book..

Agree! However, I have chosen not to watch the footage of the breakup scene. I'm trying to keep myself somewhat pure until the premiere.

In the book, didn't Bella NOT cry for a long long time after the breakup? She just pretty much became a zombie and started having nightmares....maybe she cried when woke up from the nightmares...but that's it.

Though,there is no such thing as "pure" anymore,seriously they'd better STOP releasing anymore footage from the movie,even if it is mere secs..
The book was already spoilery,now things are way out of hand-leaked script,leaked sneak peeks,plus the trailers&the pics galore,what's left to see in the theater??

And acting is not just sobbing and screaming, at least in that scene and i can reassure you that she fitted it perfectly, and Robert is the perfect masquerade....I dont care what people says at least about their acting...I know what I see...and I´m a cinema lover, my idols are katherine hepburn, james stewart and cary grant...not just pretty faces, but it´s not their fault that apart of being excellent actors Robert and Kristen are beautiful...

I'm so glad someone else feels this way. Twilight wouldn't work if Bella was a swoony little schoolgirl. In fact the reason why I can't reread Twilight is because of the incessant prosaic odes to the Perfect Edward Cullen. Thank goodness we didn't have to hear voiceovers of Kristen describing Robward in that way in the film.

i saw the film first. if i had touched the book first I would probably put it back after reading some chapters...from the 4-piece-series i only didnt reread twilight.

Oh man, I have nearly the same experience. I pick up atrocious BD over Twilight anyday. I heard about the film before I knew the books existed but I wanted to read the books first because adaptations are always worse than the real thing.

Turns out both the film and the book were pretty neck and neck in the jacked-up department. I honestly wouldn't have read the whole saga if not for the reunion scene in NM. That scene has got to be the best scene in the entire saga because of the suspense and the immense pay off. And NM isn't even my favorite. Eclipse is.

I hope that Kristen will do something good with Eclipse Bella...cause I just don't get her and her motivations...
Liked the reunion as well, think NM will be galaxies apart from Twilight.

Eclipse Bella's motivations were pretty clear for the first three quarters of the book until Stephenie decided, "Oh, it's time to make it a triangle for the sake of some spawn to imprint on some dog." It's obnoxious. Bella belongs with Edward, end of story. Even some wolf girls believe this. Why Stephenie felt that Bella opening her heart to Jacob in order to set up the epic failure that is Renesmee is beyond me.

But yeah, the first three quarters were clear. She wanted to have her cake and eat it too. She's young; she didn't realize how much it hurt Edward and Jacob for her to be so selfish because she was so selfish. That's what I think anyway.

Dude, this is the first time I've been able to sit in front of the computer for more than five minutes. Yesterday's lack of productivity was made up for today. Plus I virtually ignored the hubby yesterday so I spent QT with him before he went to work. What was he doing? Watching a damn football game. Thanks dear.

I agree with not wanting to go to see the movie right away just for that very reason. I want to be able to hear what the characters are saying without some young idiotic girl(s) screaming at every scene. I don't think I would be able to handle myself if there's continuous noise going on in the audience of the theatre. Not to mention I don't see why people feel the need to scream because its just a huge annoyance. Thats why I plan to go when all the young people are in school because I have off from my college classes on Fridays. I did the same for Twilight by going around noon on the day it came out. If someone does start to scream I will probably tell them to shut up so I can hear the movie.

Twilight was the first movie that I ever had a problem with kids, teens, 20 somethings and even adult women screaming and talking throughout the whole movie.

I'm taking my niece to the first 2 shows on the 20th, back to back, she's getting a ditch day for it. I was hoping that there will be less people in there. At least she knows the rules when I take her to movies: #1 NO TALKING...#2 PEE BEFORE THE MOVIE because I'm not leaving.

I usually do not like going to movie premieres b/c of that very reason but im dying of anticipation to see the movie so i will NOT be able to resist going at midnight (already bought tickets). In saying that, i have to say that i somewhat disagree with you guys about the noise and screaming. If you saw the 4min breakup scene that was leaked, everyone there was extremely hush hush (you could literally hear nothing but one person cough) and im sure that place was crowded..I really think what's great about going with all the other Twi fans is we will laugh, cry and will be excited at the same moments. For the most part im hoping all this but i think it will be ok.

I too am going to the midnight showing with 7 of my girl friends...and i'm in my 30's! I can NOT wait any longer...however I do realize that there may be some screaming...which is why I will be seeing it more than once in the theater. While I am going to the midnight showing first...I will be going with my hubby on the Monday after it opens. I also think so many people are going to be into the movie that you could probably hear a pin drop. They really won't want to miss a single word...although I bet there will be hootin' and hollerin' when the movie first starts, just out of built up angst and excitement.

Yeah when I went last year to see Twilight no one screamed at all which was nice because people should definately be respectful of those around them. If fangirls really want to scream and be excited then they need to do it before the movie starts and after its over, not while its playing. I don't usually bother telling someone to zip it unless they're really causing a disruptance. What I do know is that I don't pay money to hear a bunch of people screaming when I'm trying to quietly watch the film.

I had to watch Twilight 5 times before I got a theater anywhere new quite. I feel like standing up and screaming SHUT THE F**k up! I can still remember the first time I got to watch Twilight by myself, at home, quietly. It was absolute magic.
This is why I have decided (at least so far ;) that I will not watch New Moon when it come out. I know its going to be pure torture. (I've just finished reading Twilight and New Moon for about the 12th time and then watched the movie again. ) Somehow I will deal with it (or not ;)

Being an adult has its advantages, lol. I took that whole friday off, so I can go early and avoid the sceamers, but I know some faithful mothers will allow their children to "miss just one day." It somewhat tempts me to advise all the schools in the area of the high # of absenteeism for that day will be caused by a movie and therefore ppl will be unexcused for missing that day w/out a dr's note. *evil grin*

I hate those guys that think they're so smart that they can just make random comments throughout the movie and then others clap for them... what a bunch of stupid monkeys... or the ones who cheer on the actors.. I mean, come on, really?!... what the heck r u cheering for, can they hear you!?!... spastics....

But the kicker, my all time favorite p'd off moment at a theater where I literally wanted to go apecrazy on someone, was when we had waited in line for an hour, on a hellish crowded sat nite, they finally let us into the theatre, everyone is walking in and an employee of the theatre yells: "YOUR WASTING YOUR F*ING TIME, THIS MOVIE F*ING SUCKS!"

Well I'm a day late, but oh, well....

I wanted to say, I have watched other kstew movies and her acting does not bother me at all. In Twilight that is not such the case, its just a bit less appealing. However, I am a true twihard and have watched, read about everything I can that the twi cast does, including Kstew.

And I will point out, in one such interview, she was not going to be bella, b/c she was filming Adventureland, something, she and that cast had been working on for a while, she says she felt she wouldn't be able to put her whole into the character of Bella. But once she got a hold of the book, she really wanted to be part of it. She said filming both movies at the same time was very stressful and that may have taken a toll on her acting in Twi, however in Adventureland, it was perfect. I too do not understand the reasoning behing the babbling hospital scene but will give her the benefit of the doubt.

So far it is clear, her acting is much better on NM, perhaps b/c she had a less stressful schedule, and I am very pleased.

For those that do not understand her reaction in the breakup scene, it may be perhaps they do not know/ understand what a true love lost is like, they perhaps do not understand the emotions involved. It is shock b/c the thought that THAT feeling (of love) will never end is shattered. Makes perfect sense to me. But I do not dwell upon the ignorance of others.

The only negative thing I have to say about the whole breakup scene, was that I absolutely HATE her jacket/coat and that is my opinion.

Also, I don't think they're seeing the scene as actors would. Crying is not as effective as trying not to cry or being on the verge of crying or all the emotions preceding crying. If Kristen went from 0 to 100, the shock of Edward's abandonment would not have been as heartbreaking IMO. Kristen knows it's a long process of shock and denial and depression etc. Crying is the final stage before acceptance.

i read the book and it didn't say that Bella cried when Edward left..
And people are expecting her to show tears because the love of her life just left her..but she never cried until she woke up seeing Charlie and Renee packing her stuff for her to live with her mom cause Charlie doesn't really know how to handle the situation

I think that Kristen could deliver the most perfect Oscar worthy performance on the planet, and some would still say that it was bad. Some people just don't like her and nothing is going to change that. I personally don't get it either, but there are a mass quantity of Kristen haters that will never get her appeal.

The same with Rob and Taylor.

I for one love and adore her and think that she has done a fabulous job in New Moon.

Yeah, I just really don't get it. I don't mean to sound like people don't deserve to have different opinions than I do, or like people aren't allowed to not like Kristen Stewart, because of course that's not true. I just feel like, as a huge fan of the books, I sort of saw the first movie as a let down, I thought there were a lot of problems with it, and I know a lot of people agreed that it could have been a lot better. But I swear, all I heard was "Kristen did SO not pull of Bella well at all.... she shouldn't have been chosen for the role"....etc, things like that. It just bugs me that people seem to have some sort of prejudice against her, and that clouds their judgement.

From what I have seen in this movie, Kristen has really stepped up her acting for this movie, and I thought she did a great job in the first one. New Moon is probably the hardest one for her, at least in terms of the span of emotions her character experiences, from heartbreak, to depression, to what's the word for her recklessness/hearing Edward? (Something like crazy, even though I know she wasn't crazy.) She also has to portray someone, towards the end of the film who would literally walk into the arms of death if it meant she could either save her true love, or at least see him again. That takes guts, both for the character (obviously) and for the actress trying to pull it off.

I could say so many good things about her - I feel like she deserves more recognition, and from what I have seen of this movie, I think she has done a tremendous job, and made great strides from where she was as an actress in the first one.

I am biased because I was a Kristen fan long before she was cast in Twilight. So obviously I worship the ground she walks on and would leave my husband for her in a second, but don't feel I can compete with Rob. LOL

On a serious note, I don't think she was completely on her game in Twilight. There are moments where I almost cringe at her acting, like the hospital scene. But I don't think she was so bad that it warrants full out bashing.

I don't mind criticism for her acting. If you don't like her fine. I get that. But the blatant bashing that some do is uncalled for. I think she is a very talented actress for her age level, in the elite group of actresses such as Evan Rachel Wood and Ellen Page. I think she is going to blow people's minds in Welcome to the Riley's and The Runaways.

But like I said, I'm biased.

Yeah, I guess I will be honest. I don't think that she was as good as she could have been in Twilight. That's because, like you, I think she is an incredible actress, and so I really believe she is capable of something great, something better than what she did in Twilight.

The hospital scene...she did make me cringe. But I think it was more that whoever wrote that in the script made a mistake. I don't know how she could have pulled off whatever was written in the script and made it uncringe-worthy. LOL. For that scene, they really should have stuck more to the book.

Everything was so unorganized and instinctual and spur of them moment with Twilight filming. I'm sure that because of all that was going on, it was difficult for Kristen to completely focus on her acting.

But like you said, I don't think she was as awful as people are saying. But in NM, she is back!!

I agree with everything you said. I'm sure you already know this but Kristen was only 17 when she filmed the majority of Twilight. I could say she was testing the waters out...seeing what she could do with it. Now that she's gone and matured even more (with Rob by her side) NM is going to be where she shines.

People don't give her near enough credit for her acting ability. I guess they think Megan Fox could have done a better job. :(

Nah you are not biased you just see the truth. People just don't want to acknowledge that she really is plainly amazing. She can play the guitar. Robs fans defend him against critics, Kristens fans have to defend Kristen against well non-Kristen fans that simply aim to hurt her. She didnt give her best in Twilight, I can say that, but The director that shall not be named has a job to do too, its called giving directions,editing and providing an environment where the actors can concentrate on acting and dont have to fight against the cheesiness.

Kristen is grounded, confident but still sensitive.

Thirdly, i think that the fans just sometimes take things overboard...people could care less about the actors, cause most of them dont make a show of themselves, but the fans are those that are present on everystep...and most of them take the saga so serious...

I think people forget that this is a fantasy world and the actors are not really the characters that they play. Oh sh*t, they added an action scene to the movie. That was not in the book.

I totally agree that ppl were hating on Kris about the breakup scene. She was a mazing! She embodied what I thought was stunned and shocked by what was being said to her. If they would have read the book it clearly said that she was so shocked by what he was saying to her. I am for KSTEW too, but I'm also team Edward. I had to throw that in their. I mean Edwasrd was hurt by the break up too, you could se it in his face when he kissed her forehead. I know this is on another note, but how does someone look hella cold, hella sexy and, hurt at the same time. Rob was way to good in that scene

I totally agree with you, it's not that I am not team Edward. It's just, at this moment in time, I feel like backing up Kstew even more than Edward.

Edward was really doing what he thought was best. He underestimated Bella's love for him, he was being both selfish and selfless. Selfish in the sense that he thought no one could love to the same extent (let alone more) than he could. Put another way, he thought there was absolutely no way Bella could love him half as much as he loved her. He was being selfless in the sense that he knew leaving her would break him, but he was willing to do it for her.
The way he pulls it off in that scene is incredible. I just think that scene is great, because you can see how, from Bella's point of view, it would really seem like he didn't care. But you could also see that his character did care, that he literally had to take breaks in between talking to her to get himself together to be able to say something in a way that would convince her. He had to work to hurt her enough to convince her. And the kiss on the forehead...incredible. It lasted just long enough to show he cared, and not long enough for Bella to really take comfort in what he was doing and question whether everything he had said to her was true.

To be honest, the screen was so blurry I want to see that scene on the big screen to be able to analyze it better. But I know it's gonna be good!

Now you have me all fired up and wanting to watch this break up scene so I can tell some b&tches off. They need to back off.

And I agree with your interpretation of Edward. That was always the weakness with Jacob. I never got the sense that he would be willing to sacrifice his feelings for Bella's. Edward made a completely non selfish move by putting his feelings in the background for Bella. How much more perfect and chivralous and gentlemenly can you possibly be? I think that is the quintisential moment that I knew how much Edward loved Bella.

And Rob captures that to perfection.

I have not watched the break up scene, but everything that I have seen from Rob and Kristen I have been floored by. They have completely captured the essence of not only the characters, but every scene. And when they are being interviewed, you can see how in tune they are to their characters, how much they understand them and have done their homework. Will never get the hate.

I agree completely with your statement. I didn't see anything bad about her in Twilight. I think she did an amazing job in Twilight and from what I have seen so far, I also think she is doing a great job in New Moon. I am currently rereading New Moon and so far Kristen Stewart is portraying Bella quite closely. I really don't know why people are so hard on her. I am Team Edward and I also saw the Break Up scene and I just want to state to all that both Kristen and Rob did an AMAZING job in this scene. I think both of them have great talent. Have you seen Kristen's newest movie, Adventureland? it is really good. I recommend watching it.

I agree with you guys, my girlfriends and I are 28 yrs and we saw Twilight a couple of times in the theatre, the first time we saw it was great, nice and queit but the second time we went there were these high school group of girls there and when it came to the kissing scene they were giggling the whole time and we were like oh gawd be queit. Well I bought that New Moon special that People published and People is fairly true in my books and they said they were going out but I don't know because they ALWAYS are pretty straight forward about how they are NOT going out so it is so hard to say for sure.

I dont know what kind of people but for many critics what saved twilight of becoming a cheesy film was exactly Kristen and Robert performances, and Kristen and Rob explained very clear in on interview that they tried hard not to be cute...because bella was a shy and isolated girl and edward was a dead man walking inside a teenage body, and when they met they had a loooonnnng way up until they actually interact with a little closeness although their feelings were so strong for each other, so i hold on to that and o.k. I dont need a cheerleeder acting as bella, and a popular boy to be edward, I wanted to conflicted people like the majority that read the books, and that´s all...dont´worry, we on this site love them and their performances and jeaolusy is a very bad friend....greetings from spain...adios

the book, in terms of how Kristen acted during the breakup, (I am not saying
it was drastically different, just she was more outwardly expressive,
whereas in the book she has a lot of internal dialogue) but I think it

I love Kristen and I know what you mean. I've seen for example on youtube people commenting negative comments on Kstew, but I got to agree Kristen is Bella and period!!! She portrays Bella perfectly because when I saw the break up scene, she made me feel sorry for her, being such a fragile human it makes me feel sad with the fact of how Edward treated her and it just made me cry. SHE MADE ME CRY WTH PEOPLE CALL THAT NO GOOD ACTING! Well to me that IS ACTING! What an extravagant talent she has! She was born to act!

Seriously, I think a lot of the problem with Twilight, if you watched the movie on DVD with the commentary on by CH, RP, and KS... it seemed like every scene they discussed had to be done in FIVE MINUTES or else they'd go off schedule... attributed to all of the weather issues and low budgeting=not a lot of time... etc etc.

I like KS... have also seen her in other things and feel there's definitely a jealousy issue going on in some circles.

Yeah, in my opinion, the first movie was not that good. I loved the
commentary part of the dvd...lol, because it was cool to hear Kristen and
Rob have fun with each other. I thought there were a lot of problems with
the film, but it's ok, because I have my fingers crossed that the second one
will be LOADS better!!!!

I don't really know where this KStew hate comes from, but there is a lot of
it going around. It makes me sad, because I think she is super talented, but
she is not used to this fame - the type where any time you walk out of your
hotel/plane/taxi/house you get bombarded with paparazzi - I can tell she
doesn't like it.

I just wanted to say I always thoght the "spider monkey" scene is very sexy and cute, I know people don't like that line, but I loved his face expression, the tone of his voice (slightly teasting) and Bella's adorable giggle. That scene is adorable in my opinion.

Honestly, I didn't like the fact that Twilight was sexually frustracted, as you said. I HATE CH's ideias for the kissing scene.

I mean, their relantionship is supposed to be more romantic, more careful. There was no romance in the kissing scene. Appart from the first ten seconds, of course. In the book, it was so more magic, more sentimental and more "realistic". And that extended scene (or deleted scene, I can't remember now) when Bella dreams with Edward was the cheesiest part ever.

It's almost like they were dealing with their attraction off screen for Twilight and couldn't really go all the way with the intimate scenes. They were not sure of the boundaries that they could cross, even though the bedroom kiss was pretty freaking hot.

In Twilight, she obviously had MA, they both obviously had connections feelings. New Moon is going to be supreme, Eclipse is going to be EPIC and Breaking Dawn is going to be out of this UNIVERSE!

Yeah, there were a lot of issues going on in Twilight that had to be dealt with.

New Moon is definitely going to be different. I think that we are the luckiest fans on the planet to have two people that are so in love in real life to play our Edward and Bella on the big screen and to be able to convey that love appropriately. If CH did nothing else right, she casted the perfect Edward and Bella.

The only thing CH did right was the casting, she got that spot on. Bravo to her for that.

We are lucky, like you said for two people who love each other just like Edward and Bella should to convey it on the screen to find each other like Bella and Edward did. It just fits. They go through the struggles just like Bella and Edward but then do pull through it.

I love Robsten. I just hope that one day they can escape all the craziness and be happy together. It's good that they have each other to confide in and share in the experience.

For everything there is a time on earth...or something like that goes the bible...why do I say so, connecting with acting for everything there is a time, time to show that you are an amazing actress just simply by staring numb showing with your eyes that the world is falling apart and your heart is breaking, almost literally breaking, that is Kristen´s performance of the break up scenes, to be an extraordinary actress means sometimes silences, looks are more important than jus weeping and screaming, being like hitted when your love tells you that he doesnt´love you....I mean i would be dissapointed if she started sobbing or wathever, she was perfect, and Rob...Rob...I have no words to describe the expression on his face, the coldness of his voices but the fire in his eyes...they were restraint one of the impression and the other trying to do what he believed it was the best for her and not surrender....big deal, later in the movie we´ll see what we have seen the screams the action but that scenes is perfect the way it is...and other thing I DONT CARE WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT KRISTEN OR ROBERT, they are edward and bella and time will tell the beautiful characters the have given life to...

I've said this before, I'm not a fan of Kristen's acting. I can TOTALLY understand the understated way that she did the scene, and it actually fits in well with the book... so that does give her points from me.

My problem is that she plays all her characters the same, so I don't see "Bella"... I see Kristen Stewart with brown eyes. And she also plays Bella NOTHING like I had imagined her in my mind, which makes me a bit biased to begin with. Maybe her performance in New Moon will change my mind.

As for Rob... he's GREAT! His acting is insanely dimensional. I watched Twilight several times, and each time I'd notice something that I hadn't seen before that showed how much though he had put into the role. Tiny little things that mean alot in context. :-)

And think we're all get to go through the anticipation ALL over again with ECLIPSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I wasn't that huge on Kristen's acting in Twilight..but, like you guys said, maybe it was just the director or something and not her. But I'm very impressed with the trailers and the scenes that I've watched so far. Either she stepped up on her acting or Chris is just way better than Catherine. I'm a huge Twilight fan, which doesn't really matter because everyone here is! haha. But, when you're such a devoted fan to a book series, you go into the theater with A LOT of expectations. I was honestly disappointed the very first time I watched Twilight.. because they cut a lot out and changed some stuff up. But then the more that I'd watch it, the more I liked it. But I have a feeling that NM is going to be sooo much better. I just can't wait any longer to see what we're in for! I can't imagine the pressure on these actors in this series, because they're trying to please a large audience and make sure that they do everything correctly so we won't bash on it. I respect all of them, and really do think that each and every one of them are perfect for their roles. ( :

I loved Twilight and I was a little disappointed in Kristens performance, but I also heard that Kristens BF at the time was hanging out at the set almost everyday. How is she suppose to do a good job when MA is watching her every move. CH offered him the part of Mike, but he said that he could not be the one that she rejected in the movie. He said that he could'nt handle it. I think that he was jealous of RP, because he know that he had a crush on her. That makes sense and I am sure the media had a lot to do with there break up with all the rumors of Kristen and Robert. I am also sure that Kristen was jealous, because she thought with all the women in the world that wanted Rob that he would find someone soon and he would not want her anymore. ( You always want what you can't have, and when Megan Fox and Nikki Reed were going after him and there were also a lot of other beautiful women in hollywood who wanted him, so she had to do somehting quick).

RFLMAO .. IDK either. I have no major issues with her other than the fact that she can't act. But for some reason her and Rob get lumped together because they are the hot duo right now. Of course, in my personal opinion, Kristen puts Megan to shame on her BEST day. Megan can't walk outside without putting on tons of makeup and having on just the right outfit and stilettos.

Rob stated he had just seen Kristen in a movie and wanted to meet her. They instantly had chemistry and later Kristen told CH that she couldn't do the movie without Rob. I think Rob has proven that he doesn't let fame and all this other crap get to him or change who he is. He is really pretty grounded and I couldn't see him going for that freakin' Megan Fox and all her verbal diarrhea...(or her "oh look at me" attitude or her "i'm like Marilyn Monroe and will probably end up dead at a young age like her" or her apologizing to her fans for the way she wore her hair at the MTV Movie Awards...I mean...who does that?)
At least when he is talking non stop it's from nerves and is an awkward quirk of his...she is just a mess (My opinion). MF has stated in the past that Rob was "too pretty, too young and not experienced enough" for her. Whatever the h*ll that means. I think she got a lot of flack for it, personally. She then recently changed her tune. Too little too late MF! But she knows the deal and when they won that one award together (TCA I think) she spoke first and ended with something to the effect of...i'll get out of the way now so everyone can look at Rob.....DAMN STRAIGHT! She knows the deal.
They would never be together....and if they ever ended up together.....it would mean Rob had changed who he is....and that would be devastating to all of his MILLIONS of fans.
Those of us who love him may always comment on how HOTT and delicious looking he is but we also love him for WHO he is. His adorkable sense of self...he becomes more and more endearing to us the more he shows us who he really is. On the flip side we have seen KS in interviews and award shows and she see's herself as clumsy and a little odd...she also has not changed who she is with the success of the Twilight franchise so I highly doubt she was jealous and felt she had to make a move "To get Rob". The chemistry was already there....you can't make that up. I consider the options "Fluff"-MF or "The Real Deal"-KS....there is NO competition.

I feel like I know Rob and Kristen enough to say that jealousy is not an emotion that they waste time on.

Rob is a very genuine, shy, introverted person that loves acting for the art of it, instead of the fame. Which is completely opposite of Megan Fox. And exactly the same to how Kristen feels.

It was only natural for Rob and Kristen to bond on a much stronger level then with the characters that they play. They are so similar in nature and personalities, and likes and dislikes, and the whole fame issue. Plus both of them are incredibly hot and down to earth, and confident about themselves. But they are also very private.

It was inevitable for them to end up together.

I'm sorry that you guys took my post the wrong way. I love Kristen and Roberts performance. I love them both and I think they did a good job. All I am saying is that the pressure they were under when filming Twilight was hard for them. Kristens boy friend watching every move that she made was probably hard for her and then Robert having feeling for her was hard for him as well. I'm just glad that they were more relaxed with shooting New Moon and Eclipse.

Ummm ... no not really. But you have the right to your opinion. I don't think jealousy had a thing to do with it. Why would she be jealous of Megan Fox? Rob would not touch that hoe bag with his ten foot marble sparkle pole.

I think Kristen finally gave in because Rob is amazing and she pretty much fell in love with him the way all the fans did.

I think some probably don't know Kristen as well as others. I can see how there are varying opinions about how the whole Robsten thing went down.

From my standpoint, it seems that Rob always had the hots for her from day one. She had a boyfriend, but was attracted to Rob. But a chick can only take so much. After spending day and night together and realizing how similar they were and how amazing Rob is, naturally she gave in.

That's the way I see it anyways.

Off topic, see I live in Florida, in between Broward and Dade County and I went to this made up Haunted House in Broward called Possessed University, it was so scary it was 10 dollars and you can exist and re enter again, they give you a wrist band, it was so fun, I went with my sister and her friends, my sister is afraid of clowns, and they had this clown following her, it was hysterical oh and Michael Meyers from Halloween came after me, the Joy.

Honestly..I don't understand how you can complain about Kristen. When I first saw the movie the acting from Kristen and Robert was the only thing that made me love the movie. First of all it was the first movie - with a very,very bad director and almost not knowing eachother and especially not knowing their roles enough Kristen did more then well! Kristen is one of our best actors in our generation! Do you know why? She takes her role so strong that she gets herself into it, she makes the part such a big part of herself that it takes months for her to come out from it.. and all this media shit you are talking about - the actors are strong people who doesn't give a shit about what the papers are writing! The media comes up with false things all the f*cking time because that want to earn money! I promise you - Kristens and Michaels relationship did so not come to and end because of the newspapers.. or the "crush" robert has on Kristen. I think it is really,really wierd that you talk about these actors like you know them.. Kristen and Robert may only be really,really good friends - not lovers? I mean .. Yes, I see their chemistry too but I do know that they are ordinary people who can be friends to!? Rob didn't even know Nikki liked him(that's what he said in an interview anyway) so I mean.. how can you people believe so hard in the media, the rumors and just...!? I don't get it. Not really..the movie is 2 hrs and 10 min long and we've seen like 20 min of footage...there's lots more unseen!

But, they have shown just about all the really gritty and sad parts...

I think I would be cool with it if they were not showing pivotal scenes, like the Volturi clip and the entire break up scene, which they haven't put on here thank goodness. This one is fine, but there are sooooo many. I just want to ride this out and see everything else on the big screen, you know.

I started reading the script, but didn't get through the first dream sequence. I couldn't do it. I want to be surprised with how they put everything together and how the dialogue is changed.

I just want the whole experience to be new. I don't want to sit there and know what scene is coming next or what every line of the film is, you know? I think that if all these clips were a couple months ago, I would watch them. But I am on the home stretch now.

yeah i agree. the clips we have seen are mostly from the original clips just been extended an extra 10seconds or so yeah i feel like these clips are not too much. we havent seen charlie, victoria, the other vamps, the wolves(in human form much not even quil), billy black, really not much of jacob, and laurent so yeah i think when we all go to movies we will still be blown away!

I LOVE all these lil clips & scenes we've seen all week but I"m putting myself on a New Moon diet - NO more til I see the movie. I just don't want to sit there having already seen the majority of the scenes. I know it's not really like that but I've pretty much seen at least 3-4 whole scenes it seems. hahah well we are kinda part of the Caribbean too, our music is pretty much the same as the Caribbean, we have the Punta(this is the music that an ethny group called Garifunas plays) but we have all kinds of music here:bachata, techno, merengue, salsa, alternative you know. but yeah there's no one who doesn't know how to dance merengue and salsa here, well we all supossed to know how to dance punta too but i'm awfull at it hahaha, it's weird cuz i learned samba that is a little bit like punta but i just can't get punta right LOL.

Anyway in that video, after Edward pushes Bella away Jacob transforms so this still has got to be before Edward sees Jacob. Maybe CW changes the final scene so that Jacob and Bella are in the forest speaking alone and Edward shows up and tears them apart? Because I do not see Edward and Bella going to the forest like in the book to meet Jacob and let Jacob stand two inches from Bella.

A picture I saw in the companion makes me think that it is possible that all three are together, but you are right - it just doesn't make sense for Bella and Jacob to be so close when Edward is RIGHT there.

That's it! I think I can call Summit the most stupid movie company ever been in business. Come on! Even Harry Potter did not have so much trailers, spots and sneak peaks. Summit is risking to turn this movie in to a big flop, because the bigger the excitement, the sooner it will fade away and by the 3rd or 4th movie a lot of people will have lost their interest, of course, not the fanatic ones :)
So, dear Summit, if u want make money for the sequels and keep everyone interested, not only the really fanatic teenage girls, stop selling TV spots to different sites!

i definitely see where you are coming from. and i agree with you.. but i think they are doing this because twilight was such a letdown that they are trying to reestablish this series. cause we all know twilight could have been wayyyy better (though i still enjoy it and will probably watch it this afternoon hehe).

i would think that they won't do all this with eclipse or breaking dawn. they shouldn't need to by then. or at least i hope not. because it has been SOO hard to resist watching all of these new clips. and i don't know that i'll be able to do that again for eclipse....

This movie is already so overexposed I don't even want to see it anymore. I'm so tired of seeing/hearing about it that I don't even want to read the books. There are signs everywhere and so many companies are selling ridiculous merchandise. They have released so much that all the surprise and awe of the visual dynamics is gone.

The worst thing I've heard is someone on E! saying "Summit knows that Twilight fans are so obsessed that no matter what they do, they'll still show up in droves and see the movie multiple times." It made the fans sound like mindless idiots. That is another reason I'm not going to go see it. I'm not that addicted.

I'm boycotting any and all Summit films due to the Rachelle recasting (the whole thing was just bad business, and seemed to follow the whole "they're too addicted to not show up" business mindset)... the overexposure just made it 1000 times easier.

Overexposure proves that the producers have bad taste. Twilight, allthough the budget was not so big, is more pleasant to watch, because of the atmosphere around it.

Here is what is going to happen: fans will see it once or twice, and they`ll be fed up. They will wait for the DVD and see it at home. i'm from germany so don't complain about my english.
first of all i want to say that i'm so team kristen because i love her for years! she's just amazing as a person the same as an actress. i wouldn't have thousands of kstew pics on my laptop if she weren't. she'd done a great job in almost every movie she made. and i think twilight fucks her up. she wasn't as great in twilight as she was in adventureland or in the messengers, BUT if she were bad and terrible or whatever- why would so many people be amazed by her?
but i have to admit that i don't think she made the break up scene 'right'. of course everybody has his image, his own 'little movie' in his head..but she got it wrong in a way. WHY? read the book. she's not acting the way she should, i don't think it's all her faul. but yeah in a way she could have done it better. much better.and i hope she's amazing as always through the rest of the movie!

I would just like to say, that as a Kristen fan myself, I have absolutely no problems with your comment. You know why? Because it was polite, constructive and was not blatantly rude. You have an opinion and I respect that. And I like the way that you stated it.

As someone who has also seen the Break up scene...

I have to agree a LITTLE bit, but I also know that the director and screen writer and everyone on the crew sometimes trump the actress, so like you said it probably isnt her fault.

On the other hand, we do see her screaming in her bed in one of the trailers, so I think in the movie we might just have to wait a little bit longer to see her emotions take over.

LOL the halloween party was a couple nights ago.. it was on the instyle makeover post and everyone switched avis and posed as someone else and we had to guess who it was... it was really fun but SUCH a headache lol... The thing jumped up to over 1,000 comments within about an hour. It was insane.

Okay, I'm going to voice my opinion here and if anyone doesn't like it, I apologise now.

I don't like Kirsten Stewart as Bella. It's not because I think she can't act or anything like that, although I will admit I don't think her acting is great in Twilight. She's don't much beter things, in my mind.

I, for one, don't see the amazing chemistry that's suppose to exist between her and Robert. I know they are suppose to be a couple in real life and everything, but I just don't see the chemistry on screen. Maybe that will change once I see New Moon(I've resisted watching as much as possible) but I didn't see much chemistry in Twilight.

Kristen also just doesn't look or sound like I imagined Bella. Once again, this is just my opinion. I imagined Bella more pretty than hot and Kristen has that hot look. I think Bella should be this odd beauty and I just don't think Kristen, when playing Bella, is. Don't get me wrong, Kristen is beautiful but when she's playing the character of Bella she comes off as too plain for me.
