Dear Summit,

I need to make some requests for the health and safety of all Twihards this NM season.

Please have an ambulance outside each movie theater on the day NM's premieres. It'd be nice if the EMT happened to resemble either Robert Pattinson (british accent included) or Taylor Lautner (8 pack a must).

Also, if you can make sure there are Neurosurgeons, Cardiologists, Pediatricians, and Gyneologists sitting on the ends of each row to prevent lawsuits (on HIGH ALERT when Robward and Bella "take a walk"), I'd sincerely appreciate it.

Finally, and this shouldn't be as drastic a request, if you can please make certain that CW repeats the reunion scene at least three times. I fear there will be too many shrieks, squeals, sobs, eyes popping and brains bleeding out of ears if this is shown only once.

The behind the scenes thing was awesome. I loved the part where they had a closeup of Rob and Kristen right before they were getting ready to do a scene and Kristen was all emotional and trying to get into it. I couldn't see Rob's face, but I have mucho respect for Kristen pouring herself into the scene.

Yes, I saw that part. Kristen prepared to get into her character, she was kind of closing her eyes... Most of 'fountain' scenes are Kristen's heavy works, so I praise her for that. Kristen really put a lot of physical and emotional efforts into New Moon. I kudo her for that.

Let's see. We have 4'.. of break-up, 4'...of wolf scene, .50' of Volturi scene, more than 6' (???) of previous clips. The whole movie is 2hr10'. As much as I want to see (I can't resist :)), they should stop showing more major clips. Otherwise, there are no excitements.

Well I disagree, movie Edward and book Edward are similar, both of them are overprotective, and chivalrous. However movie Edward gets to fight more, because in the book SM didn't write a lot of fight scenes. She only wrote one fight scene that was at the end of Eclipse. So in the movie we get to see more of Edward's strong side, because they can portray the fight scenes that SM chose not to write because I think I read somewhere she said that she wasn't good at writting fight scenes.

And Edward is NOT a whiny person. No where in the book did he whine!! He was always the strong/silent type and the perfect gentleman. And that's what I see in the movie as well.

Hey hey hey! I fell in love with book edward! don't get me wrong haha & besides SM gave CW the okay for everything read the articles! Were all aware this is her baby and obviously SM wants Movie Edward to fight cause she gave CW the okay on EVERYTHING he wanted to add that was new! "you can google it" ;]

I guess my post was taken a little wrong, I was just trying to say that I love both book Edward and movie Edward, to me they are very similar. I think that the NM movie could be better than the book, and it is looking better than the book, but I can't say for sure until I see it.

Since the book is kind of anticlimatic, I liked that they added the Volturri fight scene which is great to add to the climax of the story. I enjoyed the books, especially Twilight and NM (the E/B parts specifically), but am in no way a book fanatic. The other two books I didn't enjoy them as much.

And last but not least, did you see how Edward flipped Bella in that Volturri fight scene as he pulled her behind his back to protect her? It was so unexpected and just plain great!! Edward/Robward truly smolders!

I saw an ad last night for the New Moon Soundtrack, and I screamed and sqeeled and I think there was a bit of dancing too. I can only imagine what I'll be like when the trailer comes on tv, and feel sorry for the person sitting beside me!

When Meet Me On The Equinox Video has released, I knew that was only E/B scenes on it. I couldn't help it. I watched it. I don't regret it at all. But then I promise to myself : No more spoilers, no more leaked scenes, no more official trailers.

Besides, when you watch some clip/trailer you get even more excited and impatient for the film to come out. At least that happened to me all the time. LOL

The first time I watch, when Edward said "no" and spun around to protect Bella, I am in the verse of tear. So emotionally beautiful, the beast protects the beauty. What the fu**, I go back and watch again.

Erm, i personally wouldn't say it's a spoiler. I have all ready heard Aro speak. No added fighting. I you saw the fighting with the Volturi and Edward and Alice then it's the footage you've seen..

Ok, Give me a play by play and rundown of what it shows, and I will decide if I wanna watch it.

Aro is on screen, with Caius and Marcus in the background. Aro is talking wondering what to do with Bella. Marcus tells him he knows what he has to do. Demetri then says something about her not being able to keep the secret. Cuts to a shocked and pained Bella. Aro calls for Felix, Bella turns round and Edward shouts "NO!" runs to Bella's side flips her over his shoulder and holds her there for a second then runs after Felix and tackles him to the ground. Alice runs to help Edward, Demitri grabs Alice by the throat as Felix fights back. Demtri throws Edward into the air and then crashes him into the ground. The it shows Edward having a cut on his cheek and looking dead - that bit broke my heart.

It's rather excellent with the music in the background as well. Very haunting.

And I have held down screaming children, guinea pigs, cats and dogs to force feed them antibiotics - I will SIT on you and apply the duct tape myself. It WILL hurt. I may most likely forget to keep an airway open for you. NOT my problem, you had your chance.

So, I will be the woman seen screaming at the projectionist to rewind the film so we can hear what was missed. And when the cops come to take me away, I'll make them a deal: I'll go quietly, as long as we can finish watching the movie first (including the rewound part). I'll even share my popcorn with you, officers!

Oh, and I'm wearing my runners. If I need to use my runners to beat the sh!t out of you and force you into submission, I am OK with that, too. I'll go to jail with one or no shoes on, and be just fine.

Just to think that about a year and a half ago, I see an article on ew.com about SM and her Twilight books. I'm thinking who the eff is this chick and why are people having such a nervous breakdown over her books. And what is the deal with all this Edward vs. Jacob BS?

I read a quick synopsis: A human girl goes home to live with her police chief father, and subsequently finds love and danger with a vampire named Edward who goes to school with her. Hijinks inevitably ensue.

My initial response: This sounds lamo. But, I love murder mystery romance, never been one to read the fantasy novels, but since they are focused on the romance side of the things, and include the vampire genre, which I love, I will try out the first book.

Subsequently, I read all four books in probably less than three weeks time.

Then I went to see the movie. Which at the time, I thought was spectacular and awesome and brought the book to life for me. Not necessarily to that overly fangirl obsession yet.

Then came the endless Rob Pattinson and interviews .... AND ... I went off the deep end. I fell in love with the man and could not get enough of him. Thank goodness my pride was somewhat salvaged that he was at least over 20.

Then came my discovery of nmm.org. And the rest is history. Because I realized for the first time, that all this new found obsession that I had was perhaps ... normal? hehe

So, I sit back and think, How the f&*k did this happen to me? I am 30 years old, have a family and a good job, but I need help. I admit it. My cubicle is completely covered in vampire related nostalgia. I watch the Twilight DVD at least once a week. I have to read one of the books at least once a month.

And let's not even get started on how much I come on here.

You just summed up the bio of more than half of us on here, me included!!!!

When i first heard of Twilight, i hadn't read the books. Not even heard of it before the mention of the film. I knew Robert Pattinson through Harry Potter and Kristen through into the Wild so i knew the cast would be amazing.

But i didn't go and see the film, because i was like "Oh for the love of christ another fantasy with some crap vampires! Oh let me guess she falls in love with him and they have to get over hurdles to be together." I thought it would sh!t.

Then my cousin gave me her DVD to watch it, so i watched Twilight and the first scene i fell in love. I instantly got myself on the internet got me ALL the books, read them all in a space of 2 weeks, over and over again.

Then i started researching the characters and then found this site and have loved it ever since that.

I LOVE TWILIGHT.

My own Twilight "journey" is the exact same.

Except it started only 7months ago, I saw the film first then read the books within two weeks. And since then I don't think I've gone longer than a month without reading one of the books.

After watching the film, I turned to my friend and said "Who is that guy?" and, to quote you CF911, "Then came the endless Rob Pattinson and interviews .... AND ... I went off the deep end. I fell in love with the man and could not get enough of him."

I subscribe to EW so I had seen all the cover stories they did on Twilight last year. I read them, glanced at the pictures of Rob, Kristen but didn't give it a second thought.

Fast forward to November, Twilight was getting ready to be released and I was still only warming up to the idea of teenage vampires plus humans. I didn't even watch all the MTV interviews or award shows with them. I can't remember what I was even doing back then. Too bad I didn't know Twilight existed back in 2005. I only discovered nmm.org back in August so I missed a lot of info earlier in the year.

I actually bought the first book after the movie was released. Finished reading it in a day and a half. I was somewhat floored by what I read. Then I went to see the movie and it was over for me. I thought the movie was stellar at the time and went to repeat viewings. Edward took my heart and ran away with it.

I rushed out to buy the other 3 books and read them at a break-neck pace. Then I was bummed that I finished them so fast so I read all 4 back to back. That was in the spring of this year.

The GQ issue with Rob came out in April and I haven't turned back. Now I buy anything that has Rob, Kristen, both or mentions any of the upcoming movies.

I draw the line at Edward shower curtains and umbrellas.

Totally get where you're coming from. I did not read, EVER! I saw the books and heard about the fans and was like, "what the hell is wrong with these people?" ;). My sister saw the movie and told me to watch it. I do not do vampire movies. Of course I didn't watch it till it came out on DVD and now it's history. I found this site the same week I watched the DVD. Bought the books and went thru them in 6 days. My husband thought there was something wrong with me. Since then I was introduced to the FF world and can't put a story or a book down. My oldest always points out everything Twilight to me in the store and tells me that Santa will get for me for Christmas, he's 4 :)

I hear you. I have a very similar story except that my daughter told me about the saga in April of 2008, I read the first three in a couple of weeks, could hardly wait for Breaking Dawn to come out, found Twilight sites on my computer.

The rest of the story is basically the same, though. Took me almost a year to start replying to comments online from when my obsession began. So funny about Rob/Edward--that laid-back, silly attitude really made it for me, too. I doubt I would have really paid as much attention to him had he been good looking but arrogant--his unique genuine personna really is a tremendous turn-on. Never been turned on this much by any kind of celebrity before this.

I saw Rob in the movie and thought ... eh he's ok I guess. Did not get the big deal with him. But then I started watching all the interviews, and the rest is history. The fact that he was not arrogant AT ALL and so genuine and funny and self deprecating. I fell so hard.

What got me was the smirk right before he said "you really shouldn't have said that" to Kristen.....I was gone. Then I heard his real voice on the bonus DVD....OMG! Butter in his hands.

That is what i keep thinking. I am going to be as devastated as Bella when he leaves and then i am going to have to sit through the middle of the movie till i can bawl when they reunite! :) I am really nervous for my sanity when he breaks up with her!

I know...I told my husband that I have to see a couple of times before I go with him cuz that scene alone will have me doing the "ugly" cry. I just don't want the "she's crazy" look from him.

We just have to remember to keep breathing through the whole ordeal.

Definitely don't wanna see any of this. Way too spoilerific for me. And the Italy reunion, no thank you. I want to see all of the Edward and Bella stuff on the big screen for the first time. I don't mind watching the wolf stuff, that doesn't bother me.

You guys have way more willpower than I do. I always watch everything, it's pretty horrible because it's almost like an addiction. And if I don't I find myself biting my lip and looking at my laptop from across the room until I give in, haha.

EXACTLY that's what I think too. I mean I seriously watch Twilight like at least once a week. I watch the New Moon trailers and spoilers like all the time. I just cannot help myself. Oh and I re-read the books constantly. I finished Eclipse last night for the 4th time and now reading BD for the 4th time. It's horrible, but I cannot stop, lol. I will probably still be addicted when I'm 80. Cuz that's how I roll.

I think I would cave more if the movie was further away. But just 28 days, I can be patient for that long.

And the Edwella stuff I definitely want to wait for the big screen and be surprised at how CW and Robsten put those scenes and moments from the book together.

is it just me or does the flip that jake does and then converts look alittle off i don't know it just looks funny to me for some reason and i do think it is the scene at the end of the movie u can see what i think is edwards car behind him at one point that and i don't necessarily think that the voice over is from that scene it just doesn't seem to match i think they took other parts of the movie voice wise and put them in the scene to make us guess ya know they did that with twilight when they released scenes and then they didn't make the movie after all if you go back and watch some of the tv spots for twilight on the official sight you'll see what i mean

I am a little put off by the clip. Edward would not taunt or push Jacob. The Edward we love would definately protect Bella but would not lash out unless she was in danger. Jacob due to his age and temper, would be more of the agressor. I guess I will have to see the movie to understand what may have prompted Edward's actions. Anyway, I'll take anything which allows me to see Edward!

Edward hears jacobs thoughts and can feel his agressions which is the reason for him to push jacob maybe.. cause the way jacob stands close It seems like he is just about to explode .. and I think that is why he pushes bella, to make him back of so close to bella.. and we cant always see it from the book .. because we have to make people who haven't read the books to understand the contact between jacob,bella and edward.. so . . absolutly love it, chris weitz seems to have thought of everything!

Your right....once you look at in that perspective I can see why Edward would react in that manner. I just don't want those who have not read the books to misinterpret Edward. Due to his age and experience, he is not impetuous. He handles the relationship between Bella and Jacob with unyielding patience. He is truly the ideal gentleman!

Interesting article on Kristen's pap problem.

Here is my opinion. I know that it is not the media or the fans' job to watch out for our cast members, but it is called human decency, respect, and common courtesy ... all of which the media outlets and paps have NONE of.

And secondly, I understand that Kristen put herself out there by being in movies, however, she never wanted to be famous, just an actress. Those are not two things that should coincide. Another thing, it is real easy for some to judge Kristen and Rob and all the other castmembers, but until you walk a day in their shoes, no one knows what they go through on a daily basis. No one comes down on Johnny Depp for this same reason.

With that said, I personally think that it would be in Kristen's best interest to have more fun with it and be NICE to the paps. It would not hurt. Look at Hugh Jackman, he takes it in stride and jokes back with them. Just a thought for my fave shy/introverted chick.

And don't be forgetting Hugh is like that with the paps trailing his KIDS! Yet he manages not to go all Wolverine on their a$$es... he is always so cool about it all...

BTW I happen to agree with you about most of what you said (except just actress part. Papas are part n parcel of the deal have been for more than 10 years. It's not right. While I agree that being in the most highly anticipated movie saga (and possible relationship) being followed & photographed by pappz is part of the deal...and she should (Rob too) have some fun with it...we all know it's deeper than that.

When you're chased to the point of being un-safe, and when you're followed into your hotel pratically into the elevator, and when you have a camera shoved into your face asking if you're sleepling with your co-star...then nope....all bets are off.

When Twilight first came out I thought she was being a big o'l b-atch...but I get it now, and don't blame either her or Rob...

On the other hand, I don't think there should be any rudeness to the fans, unless they are being a-holes....

I think it's a lot to do with fans, too, actually. Paps definitely suck and are stalkers more than paparazzi. But Lainey mentioned, and it made a lot of sense, that the fans are a bit scary. As in.. you don't know how a fan will react, whereas you get used to the paps and their intrusiveness. Case in point: frizzy-haired skank jumping all over Rob. Who wants that? I'm sure he wasn't expecting it and it probably scared the hell out of him.

And it's a no-win situation.. you can tell the paps to back the eff off, but you can't do that to the fans. It would just look bad and wrong and there would be a sh*tstorm.

hi! I was thinking about your question of who was she protecting?, and I was thinking it might of be Edward at this point maybe, *I mean she did go to Italy and faced the Volturi for him*. Remember the part of the book when she has a dream (In Twilight) and she describes herself in the woods with Jake and Mike, Jake asking her to go back to him into the woods, but all of a sudden there is no Mike and no Jake, only a Wolf and a sparkly white figure in the beach, and then she sees that is Edward beckoning her to go to him, and so on but she realizes that she is more afraid of Edward getting hurt thant the wolf, so it makes me think Edward, although at that point she didn't know the wolf was Jake, huh? *confused face*, and she did mention in other occasions that she thought of the Cullens as nearly indestructible and the wolfs as still part humans, as she showed in Eclipse huh? *confused face growing into bigger confused face*...mmmh I guess let's go back to the ? , anyway can't wait for the movie LOL : )

You are not the only one. But... I'll wait for the whole film to make my final judgement. I do think they nailed the part where he looks haggard and nearly destroyed in Italy. But he is meant look just the same as he did in Twilight at the start of the film...

I think it is just the different colors that make Rob look different. He looks more cooler in Twilight with the blues but in New Moon he looks warmer but I will have to see when I actually get to see it on screen :)

Hi I have been following the New Moon Org page since the movie was put into production. I just come on and read the updated news and comments but with the movie near, I just can't contain my excitement and I am afraid that pretty soon my friends are going to want to commit me. I wish that there was a fight between Edward and Jacob, because we all know that Edward could beat the living daylights out of him, lol.

Oh this makes me really excited for the movie. However I wish they would show some E/B romantic scenes. But at the same time I don't want to watch anymore spoilers. On one hand, I watch the wolf clips because I don't care much for the wolf subplot, but Alex is hot!

And the scenes that I really care about, i.e E/B I can't NOT watch them when they are shown (because I have no self control when it comes to Edward, I have already accepted this a while ago. Hangs head in shame, lol).

There is just one thing bothering me about that scene, why does Edward allow Bella to stand between him and the attacking Jacob? or is it just because the scene is cut so short that we don't see Edward pushing Bella behind him? Because Edward would NEVER let Bella stand between him and Jacob in a fight, he would push her behind him to protect her.

FYI - I think the wolves would destroy the Cullen's in a fight. The wolves were designed for that purpose and they kill many Vamps during the three books they appear in. They chose not to fight the Cullen's because the Cullen's are vegetarians and because Jake imprints on Renesme.

Just my lowly opinion.

As for why I don't care for the wolf subplot, because the main reason that I love this series is the love story, that it is a romance at it's heart. I was never a paranormal fan, so the paranormal stuff don't interest me a lot. It's the E/B love story/romance that is the main reason why I love this saga a lot. So while I appreciate the wolf subplot, I just don't care for it much (that doesn't mean I don't care for it at all though).

And I know that Jacob would not intentionally hurt Bella, but you've got to admit that he is really impulsive and a hot head, so he could easily hurt Bella unintentionally. Whereas Edward is much more calm and controlled. And that also gives Edward a lot of advantage in a fight with Jacob (even without the mind reading thing). Plus the pack must attack in a pack in order to be able to kill a vampire, so I would say one wolf against one vampire isn't much of a fight, and especially not when the wolf is a hot head like Jacob.

If the wolves must fight as a pack, Why was Seth able to kill Riley all by his lonesome? Seth is a new wolf compared to Sam, Jake and the others yet he takes Riley out while Edward takes out Victoria, when the tent camp is attacked. Unlike Edward, Seth was not fueled by anger, unlike the rest of the pack AND he did not have age on his side (neither as a wolf or a human).

Yet you think that Jake (several years older and a wolf longer) could not take Edward? Sorry. I don't think so.

I think it would be a fairly even match and I also strongly believe that Jake would have the upper hand BECAUSE he knows that Edward can read his thoughts. So he would be thinking about when Edward left Bella - How she looked in the forest and things like that. It is not a fair fighting tactic - but fights are rarely fair - ask Jasper, LOL.

Sorry didn't mean to actually respond but I had to correct that misconception that wolves can ONLY kill in a pack. It is wrong.

Well, in defense, Edward isnt' so smart himself being that he's been 17 for a century or so. By leaving, he actually made it worse for himself. If hasn't realized after being with Bella long enough that she tends to do irrational things for "love" at 17, WELL....she does....like jumping off cliffs and riding motorcycles with no skills just so she can hallucinate????? What kind of normal 17 year old heartbroken girl does that???? A little bit on the crazy side if you ask me. But then, I was never really partial to Bella, so what can I see. She is kind of weak to me. Unlike Leah, who is the most "human" of them all. I like her anger. But I digress of course.

Edward owes Jacob more than he knows, I think. Jacob was there when Edward was not. Enough said. lol...sorry, I just like some silly debate. I believe that if Edward really loved Bella, he would have stayed and figured out hundreds of better ways to be with her, instead of leaving.

Ok, this is totally random, but my work computer is being all stupid and will not let me make a new comment. It will only let me reply to a previous comment (stupid, huh?!). So, this is off topic, but I am choosing to reply to you because I have a wolf question and you seem to be the ultimate wolf girl  Which wolf is attacking Laurent in the clip? I don’t remember it being Jake in the book and the pic doesn’t really look like his coloring. For some reason I thought I recall it being Sam in the book, but that wolf is clearly not Sam! I am just curious which wolf it is.

I don't think the book actually says. I am positive that the wolf that is by Bella is actually Jake. There are five wolves present. Quil, Sam , Paul, Jake, and Jared. I think Jared and Paul are actually the 2 that him down. BUT I think it happens in the woods away from Bella. I don't think she sees so i don't think we are told who it actually did it. But Jared makes sense as the 2nd longest wolf after Sam and Sam being Black and the wolf attacking Laurent is not. I also doubt in the movie that it is Paul - we see him quite clearly in the bella slaps him scene and it does not look like the same wolf.

My guess is Jared.

First of all I didn't say that I wanted "more" romantic scenes between B/E (although I would love that), I just said that I wish they would show some romantic scenes between E/B in the trailers (apparently you can't read?). So you don't think there are some romantic scenes between E/B in NM?

As for your la la land comment, why don't you take it up with Chris Weitz, he's the one who apparently added a confrontation/fight between Edward and Jacob, as was shown in the scenes posted here today. We just don't know how far they will take it in the movie. So perhaps the director is in la la land? or perhaps they are just trying to give the movie a more climatic feel (that's what I'm thinking).

But really, there is no need to be snarky, we all have our different opinions, and I thought that this site was made for us to express them good naturedly.

MWUAHAHA *evil grin* But I just have to point out that in legends...the werewolves were meant to be the ones to kill the vampire line so yea...I would still put my money on Jacob over Edward, hehehe ( I love instigating ). I do think that what's her face ( script writer ) keeps adding crap into each character's personalities that weren't in the book ( a bit annoying if you ask me ). I'm with you. Edward would never leave Bella in between himself and Jacob while he was a werewolf, but then again in the book he never let Bella get that close to Jacob even in his human form. He was always in front of her, but in some of the pictures she is right in front of him while Edward is a couple of yards away. Who knows, but it looks great never the less. Can't wait

Hmmm That's a good idea to sell kits my friend and I already made a vampire/wolf spotting kit. I could sell it to anyone who lives in Vancouver. (well I could have I guess.) I could start selling them in down in Washington now. It has a disposable camera (in case you don't have your regular camera with you), a mirror (to make sure you look good, just before approaching the beauty), a sharpie and a pad of paper, and a traveler size mouth wash (in case you get more than just an autograph).:P Oh yah we also had a list of all the locations we'd found and their addresses.
As for including a bbgun, GOOD IDEA!!!! I HATE when people's cell light suddenly goes off, it distracts you from what's on the screen.

the only scene i can think of is at the end when they return from Italy and Jake brings the motorcycles to Charlie and the 3 of them (jake, bella and edward) speak. maybe CW wanted to add a little bit of action to it.
i don't recall Edward knowing Jacob was a werewolf before he left.

Edward does not know that Jake is a wolf before he leave because Jake's transformation is after...

My favorite is the one with Bella's reflection in Jake's eye too. In 2 hours, it will be 28 days!!!
