charlie bewley demetri alice cullen new moon 280x186 Charlie Bewley on Filming New Moon and his Volturi Family Charlie Bewley talks about playing Demetri in New Moon and also gives a take on the members of the Volturi.

He talks about filming in Italy:

“Italy was a dream. Very surreal. I think everyone there, no matter who it was, Rob [Pattinson], Kristen [Stewart], [director] Chris [Weitz] or anyone else would say that it was an experience that they may never go through again. The hospitality of the whole thing, the way they treated us, the whole setting was so magnificent.

He also talks about how he see the character of Demetri:

“[Demetri] has a lot of misplaced energy, or a lot of unused energy, and that kind of manifests in his behavior…..I did the whole animal thing, and I just worked out that he was this killer housecat – just in the way he is and his attention is fairly ADD….. He just wants to run or chase. But he’s very kind of confined within this sort of mafioso arrangement that the Volturi coven is.”

kellan lutz kellan lutz birthday1 280x378 Kellan Lutz on New Moon BlackBook.com recently caught up with New Moon hottie Kellan Lutz (aka Emmet Cullen) to find out what its like being an up and coming actor thats part of one of the biggest franchises around.

So I hear you’re pretty cool with the Twilight fans, who I hear can be a little much.
I am extremely blessed to be a part of this franchise. I didn’t know this series and I didn’t know it had such a following. I love going to conventions. That’s why I love Will Smith. He goes to every premiere in every country. I really admire that because his fans are the ones going to his movies, and it doesn’t take much to show your appreciation. The Twilight moms made dog tags and engraved really cool things on them.

But what happens when the fans get to a Robert Pattinson-level where it’s just insane?
Well, it’s crazy because with all this attention, all of us are handling it extremely well. We still have our head on our shoulders and our feet on the ground. Rob’s handling it so well. I can’t fathom being in his shoes. I believe I could handle it, but being cooped up in Vancouver and not being able to leave the hotel room or the apartment without having a driver and having to hide out—especially when he was shooting Remember Me, I talked to him a lot in New York and those fans were just crazy. I can’t imagine trying to act when you have all these people yelling your name and you’re doing an emotional scene.

Do you like doing your own stunts?
I love doing my own stunts. I try and fight the producers to allow me to do stuff and of course there’s insurance reasons why we can’t, but again, I want that to be my face on screen. I don’t want them to have to blur it out if there’s a cool fighting scene. And a lot of times I can do the stunt better than the stuntman. I once had to fall ten feet from a tree and I go the wind knocked out of me. The stuntmen were like, Let all the air out before you hit the ground. It’s a learning process but I just love doing all my own stunts and I’m an action junkie. I love anything action and being on rigs and falling from buildings. I kind of want to be a stunt man too.

taylor lautner new moon jacob bella gaze1 280x167 New Interview with Taylor Lautner in BoxOffice In a recent interview with BoxOffice New Moon star Taylor Lautner (aka Jacob Black) talked about working on the saga,  getting embarrassed at the attention to his body and much more.  He also admits to loving The Notebook – I think the Taylor fans will be gushing with even more love for him now!

What do you like about playing Jacob?

I love Jacob and Bella’s relationship. It’s very different from Edward and Bella’s. Jacob and Bella start off as really good friends. They become best friends—they can tell each other anything, they do whatever together, ride motorcycles. I love that. And then their relationship starts growing into more and more, and you wonder if they’re going to go past friends. I love being able to do that. And work with an amazing actress, Kristen Stewart, and all of the help around us, our director Chris Weitz, the whole crew. It’s a lot of fun.

What is it like for your family and friends to see people scream at pictures of you topless?

[Laughs] It’s weird. It’s embarrassing for me, and I’m sure it’s awkward for all of them.

Have you gotten teased about it at family dinners?

Not yet, and I’m hoping that doesn’t happen because I’ll start blushing.

What is a movie you love that you’re embarrassed to admit?

The Notebook. I don’t think I should be embarrassed to admit it though—it’s a great movie. I’m not embarrassed. I’m saying it proudly.

michael sheen volturi aro michael sheen new moon 280x419 Michael Sheen talks New Moon In a recent interview with Collider Michael Sheen talked about taking on the role of New Moon Volturi vampire Aro along with his upcoming roles in Damned United, Alice in Wonderland and Underworld 4 -

So going into “Twilight: New Moon”, were you nervous about taking this role because you had already come from a franchise like that, or were you more excited for the role? What was your thought process and what was it like making the film with all the hubbub around it?

Michael Sheen: I was mainly excited about it because I knew I would make my daughter very happy. Up front, that was the main reason. And then I read the books and I really enjoyed the books. I didn’t think I was going to, but I really did enjoy them. Then I was concerned that the fans of “Twilight” would be like, “But he’s played a werewolf; we can’t have him as a vampire,” and all that. But it hasn’t been like that. And because it was a very different character and I could sort of lose myself in it, hopefully people won’t have a problem with me having been in this other werewolf/vampire franchise. So when I went to do it, I just loved the character. I relished the opportunity to be there and be part of it. Now I’m just very pleased to have a whole new generation of people I can scare.

ashley greene AshleyGreeneCouch 280x186 Interview with Ashley Greene in Saturday Night Magazine Saturday Night Magazine has an exclusive interview with New Moon vampire Ashley Greene (aka Alice Cullen).  They have some stunning shots of Ashley and a video from the photo shoot.

How has it been with the other Twilight castmates? Is there anyone on set that you happen to be closer with?
Kellan [Lutz] and I are very close. I have different relationships with different people – and it’s really great, I kind of get the best of everything. Rachelle [Lefevre] and I have this, like, zest for life. She and I can just go and have a glass of wine and unwind, and we work out together and stuff like that so she and I have that kind of relationship – I think we’re both easygoing, fun people. Kristen [Stewart] and I recently got closer. I feel like in the first film, we were friends, but with our schedule we were never in the same place at the same time. So, with the second one, it was more intimate as far as the amount of people involved. After the first week or two of production, it was just me, Kristen, Rob and Taylor [Lautner], and then Rachelle was there for a little bit. Taylor’s super, super sweet, and Jackson [Rathbone], I adore. I love them all. They’re great.

kristen stewart d1e55986c5c716d8 interview New Interview with Kristen Stewart for Interview Magazine There’s a fantastic new interview with New Moon star Kristen Stewart for Interview Magazine with some very stylish shots of Kristen -

HOPPER: These Twilight books have some dark material.

STEWART: But the movies aren’t that dark, as much as we’d all have loved to have made those films. But as pretty as it is to watch and as nice as it is to have watched these two characters find solace in each other, everything around them is absolute chaos. I mean, you have to question their motivations—to watch two people so unhealthily devoted to each other . . . I stand behind everything that they do. I have to justify it in my mind, or else I couldn’t play the character. But they are definitely not the most pragmatic characters. The weirdest themes run through this story—like dominance and masochism. I mean, you always have to realize that the story needs to make sense to the 11-year-olds who read the book and aren’t necessarily going to be viewing a scene as foreplay. But then there is the other segment of the audience—a large percentage—who does see the scene as foreplay. And it’s pretty deep, heady foreplay. [laughs] So it’s fun to play it both ways. I mean, I don’t know what it feels like to make out with my vampire boyfriend because it isn’t something that anybody has ever felt. But it’s funny to think that a lot of the audience is 10 years old and will maybe one day grow up to realize there are a lot of involved thoughts in Twilight that they didn’t see before.

HOPPER: Well, you’re getting a lot of attention.

STEWART: Yeah, it’s weird. There’s an idea about who I am that’s eternally projected onto me, and then I almost feel like I have to fulfill that role. Even when things come out of my mouth, I want to be sure I’m saying exactly what I mean. All I’m thinking of is the fact that everything that I say is going to be criticized—not criticized, just evaluated and analyzed. And it’s always something that matters so much to me that doesn’t come out right. But in terms of how my life has changed, I never really went out a whole lot before. I’m sort of an in-my-head kind of person. I wish I could take more walks . . .
