no I was just waiting for Will to give me access as he's been away and stuff. I didn't really have any training as I have done web design for work and so learning this was quite simple for me. I just had to pick up Will's guidelines on posting really...and LMC check through my first few posts before I was set loose on here and told me thing I needed to do. It wasn't as difficult for me though because of the stuff I do for work.

mcr = my chemical romance. a band that i want on the eclipse soundtrack. mostly for jake though. cos they have AWESOMELY fitting songs for him! i found some of the songs on SM's playlist. became obsessed with the songs. especially: famous last words, the sharpest lives, and sleep. and there's another one but i forgot now. but famous last words is the perfect romance song for jake, or so SM said. and she's right! it always makes me tear up. cos their songs are full of angst, and just emo music. which is what jake goes through a lot after he transforms.

Jake looks beyond adorable sleeping see I can't think dirty thoughts about him, I just can't and I so recommend you read the Host, it's starts out slow but than it moves quickly and Stephenie deals with issues that she won't deal in The Twilight Saga.

yes! That's what I heard - about it starting off slow but then getting really good. I don't think any book I've ever read started off "fast" - lol. It always takes me a good few chapters to get into the characters and the story - b/c I'm like "what, who's this? what's going?"  But then you figure out who's who....and what not. ok -  maybe I'll read that soon! :-)

Yes - in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - I was really like....geez, I don't know if I could do that......I don't think I could make my parents go through that....thinking I died....or moved far far away...So at least I'm glad Meyer makes Bella REALLY think it through and she doesn't get turned into a vamp like in Twi or NM.

Agreed. I ADORE the Bella/Charlie moments in the book, overall besides Jake and Carlisle, Charlie is my fav. character in the books. Billy Burke is perfect as Charlie..I love that pic of him standing with KStew by the truck, he really look like he is her real father in that scene...

That part in Eclipse about him losing her...and those weird perceptive parental moments he was having really moved me...and I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried only TWICE in all 4 books...once when Bella visits injured Jake and tells him she's made up her mind and she's gonna marry Edward...and Jake's PAIN in that scene...and the 2nd was during the wedding in Breaking Dawn, when Charlie cries saying goodbye to Bella...I BROKE down! Probably cuz I'm an only child and i LOVE my dad and my mom, wow...can't wait!

that part in Eclipse when the mini-war between the Pack/Vamps and Victoria/New borns ends...and Bella finds out Jacob was the one that got hurt, and she's like "yeah, of course..." and then she passes out, that was the closest I came to actually feeling sorry for Bella for the 1st time since like...idk way back in Twilight...and then she goes to see him and she knows he's healing but he's still in so much pain...

BUT the line from Jake that kills me isn't that line which you wrote, it's the one where he says hes sure that if there wasn't any magic, and if everything was like it should be, he's sure that he would have Bella, and that they would be soul mates, and that he is the natural path her life would have taken, I wish Bella hadn't agreed to it, cuz when she said "I saw the whole thing" I just wanted to spazz out and I cried angry tears cuz I was like DANG! She SAW it? $hit. Jacob was just writhing in emotional pain at that moment, I know it.

I liked how Bella found it harder saying goodbye to her father than her mother, even though she didn't like coming to live in his rainy town.

no..i know..and seeing the photo of him sitting on her bed...u know billy burke is going to do charlie justice but while i was reading NM i felt bad for her parents bc she scared them like that. but thats why i could never understand why most ppl thought of jacob the enemy bc bella at 1st was a wreck..i was even scared for her parents and her but when he came around and she started to gather pieces of herself slowly i dunno...u just got this feeling haha that jacob was a strong/unique char.

I honestly feel the worst for Charlie the most throughout the series. Gosh - I felt horrible when Charlie was talking to Alice towards the end of NM telling him how bad it got when Edward left.....and Bella thought she had been fooling him by pretending to be okay - but Charlie knew better. :-(

I won't be suprised if Charlie unloads that shut gun at Edward when he gets back, I don't blame him, seeing someone hurt your child like that good intentions and all.

Glad you're ok. No we don't have any cyclones at the moment but from now on is the time we start preparing for them. They are very similiar to your storms (really strong winds, flooding). So we are fine at the moment, don't worry!! :-D

I'm doing well today. We had our standardized state testing today, so it was
a long morning for their little ol' brains. I feel so bad for them. They try
so hard and want to do so well, but every year the state ups the ante on the
test and makes it harder and harder for them to do well. I HATE it..it's so
unfair to them, and with so many of my students having so many difficulies
as it is, passing a test with those high stakes is such a tall order. We'll
get the results back, take it again in May, and that is the score that goes
on their "permanent record." It makes for a long year having to get some to
make leaps and bounds....it's very exhausting. Physically and emotionally.

How was your day?

Just depends on when I decide it's time to go to bed. Lol. Eewww...standardized testing. I feel bad for them too. We didn't have to take them as young as they do now...or as often. Completely insane. Also they have it where you have to pass it to pass the grade. Insane. Some people are just bad standardized test takeers. My day. Well, I had some grades drama with my teacher that I love so much (the one that thinks he's right about everything) but hopefully that will get worked out soon. My parents are divorced and growing up I always lived with my stepfather and mother. My biological father and I have never been close, but I had called him the other day to see if he wanted me to come visit him on my college break. He said yes. Then my dad's girlfriend (who I'm very close to) just emailed me and BASICALLY said my father had told her that he didn't really want me to come visit him. Great stuff. Lol.

I haven't even been to the new posts yet..did some responses then sent one
to you...then had a couple of messages in my twitter account so replied to
those, which then led to "the vicious cycle." ;o)

No kidding about the testing! I had 4 students absent yesterday, and 2 of
them today told me how they had been sick all weekend. During the test one
kept complaining about her head and her stomach. The other kept coughing. So
yeah...great scores for them..which in turn reflect back onto me....don't
even get me started!!! ;o)

Luckily I missed out on all the testing stuff since they started so much of
it after I had already graduated. I know I wouldn't have done well.
Standardized tests and myself don't get along well. ;o) I was scared to
death when I had to take the NTE (National Teacher's Exam), plus the one for
Elementary Education. I was a basket case until I got the scores back and
saw that I did pass..thank goodness!

I am so sorry to hear that about your dad. I'm sure that must really be
hard, and I wish I could do something more. That breaks my heart to hear
that. I hope that you're doing okay...

hey i was just reading the comments over at the other site where they bashed the site and seriously, i was laughing. it's pretty obvious that they didnt know the nature of this site. they're criticizing our "obsession" over the characters. the way i see it, they perceived us like those people who are delusional about the characters or actors who portray them. *shakes head* silly people. though, i was bothered with that particular line one said in of the posts here. that they dont want to read our boring discussion (i guess the personal one). and that it takes some space for the others. then i looked up and i saw that its our convos and all. that made me think though. maybe other people here doesnt really want to read that too. *sigh* i dont know.. maybe im thinking too much but it does make sense right? in a way? thoughts?

I get what you're saying, but you and I took that convo to e-mail. Yeah we

going to find anything to gripe and complain about. No one on here seems to
be griping and complaing, and their opinions and thoughts mean more to me

about. It's very rare to see those same people making positive comments, so

a lot to talk about and discuss," because that's what we do...we discuss..

I'd much rather see pics like the ones posted from the companion, where he's smiling, dazzling, and looking just plain stunning...I also know my patience will be paid off when I go see the movie TWICE in the 1st week, see all those amazing premiere pics, and all those jaw-dropping photo-shoots and interviews... I can bear the wait and I don't need to quench my thirst at the expense of his privacy!

I'm so glad it's not just me! It might also be something that I've noticed about alot of NZers - famous people can live pretty much a normal daily life here, walk down the street and barely get noticed. We're so layed back that Twilight is only just starting to catch on here - friends and family are now interested and asking to borrow my books or DVD. I don't mean to sound rude but there's more to the Twi-saga than Rob or Kristen!

maybe Rob should move to New Zealand...anyway he's so young, I hope he gets to be happy and no harm ever comes to him.

Yeah, isn't he 25 or something? A few years and hopefully the hype will die down and he'll be able to walk around like other actors with less paps chasing him. I couldn't imagine being confined in a hotel room or something unless it was by choice or I had my mates to help kill some time etc. I wonder if they have good assistants or mates that go and get stuff for them like if they want coffee, smokes, candy, etc... I'd do it as a job to keep someone's piece of mind and keep them happy in that situation. I'd hope I could get someone to do that for me (if I was ever famous that is! Big HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!)

He's not 25, he's younger, he was born on May 13, 1986...he's just 23...this whole cast is very very young...

I love every picture, even the wolfs. How they filmed Edward in her room, looking through the stuff, bits of the confrontation with Edward, Bella and Jacob. It looks amazing.

But i'm in love with his smile, the pure delight streched across his face when he is about to kiss Bella. It just makes me smile. I'm glad Edward is in a bit more then i expected i know, i still will miss him. I love the fact Rob and Kristen made a stronger connections. It brings a tear to my eye. LOL

The pictures are just wow. I love the picture of Aro, Caius, and Marcus. And Carlisle. Wow, the wardrobe is just as amazing as I thought it would be. And that picture were Edward and Bella are stand with their forehead touching each other, it's so sweet. I can't help but smile when I see that picture.

I think the outfits were amazing but i pictured them more dark and mysterious! and just like in the picture where edward is on the floor with no shirt on*drool* I pictured the volturi castle thing to be more dark and dim, its pretty and all but i just pictured it differently.
