Can I point out two things though not be negative or anything but one has been annoying for quite some time.

Bella's eyebrow raise does not go with the desperate emotional tone of the scene...i don't get it...and why they wouldn't reshoot which means they must want it there but I don't get it!!

The other point is the kissing looked real to begin with but looked cut and switched to the changed angle...

I got my husband to read Twilight and New Moon, and he is excited about New Moon coming out. But definitely thinks I am just ridiculous about all of this, which I tend to agree with him sometimes but, eh, whatever.

I must say, it's just the way it's described in the book, Edward's in physical and emotional pain and Bella's feeling something's off.
People who haven't read the book might not get it though, especially seeing as the scene is taken out of context.
I guess I'll pass on ONTD comments this time around. lol

It is tastefully hot/steamy, love/desire filled and at the same time it is heartbreaking and filled with pain because it is a goodbye kiss, even if Bella doesn't realize it yet.

And the noise that Bella makes when he's kissing her, I thought it was a mixture of a sob and a moan, and it broke my heart. Poor Bella is like numb from the evening's events and at the same time she is afraid because she feels that Edward is pulling away from her, and at the same time she is so in love with Edward and needs him. So for Bella this kiss is a mixture of love/desire, comfort (due to what happened before), and desperate hope on her part that nothing would change between her and Edward.

For Edward, he knows that this is their goodbye kiss and it is killing him. At the end when he pulls away and sort of moans, it's like he's on the verge of tears (but he can't and won't cry). So for Edward the kiss is a mixture of love/desire for Bella, self restraint, and deep sorrow because he knows that he's leaving her.

I can not believe how perfect this scene is!!

What can I say that has not already been said?! lol....so wonderful, beautiful, perfect and most importantly hotttttt!!! Rob's portrayal of Edward really struck me the most. He made me want to cry. The first thing I said was that he looked pained. He got Edward perfectly and KStew is just as awesome. I felt like the Edward and Bella in Twilight were disconnected from the E/B in the book. But in NM I feel like, especially from this clip, that movie and book E/B will be very connected and similar. I saw it right here.

The little nuances in the acting seen here--astounding! Rob and Kristen have hit all their marks here! So good; I can actually feel all the heart-wrenching emotions going on inside the characters.

I literally can't stop jumping...This film is the best so far...No exaggerating...Everything they've showed us left us with our mouths open...Chris Weitz, I will adore you for life...And everyone was worrying about the movie loosing it's feminine side...not even Catherine Hardwicke managed to create such a chemistry...but that is perhaps because Twilight was more an experimental film, and taking that stuff into consideration, it's more than great...but NM is so much better...this is my opinion...now I'm worried about Eclipse...David Slade managed to keep everything pretty much secret on set (except from the photos and updates he showed us on twitter)...no one saw anything actually, no footage, no nothing...for all I know, they mind as well have been filming only fight scenes

I think we will be pleasantly surprised with David Slade when we finally get to see what he has done. I think they are just trying to keep what he's done there under wraps for the time being so we will concentrate on New Moon. Once that's done, when they move on to the Eclipse promotion we will see awesome things from his vision in that movie. We just have to be patient...I know, not easy, right?

allow me to say that almost every century or generation have those timeless on screen couples that weren't even couples in the real world that have past the test of time, it was Clark Gables and Viven Leigh in Gone With the Wind, Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca, John Travolta and Oliva Newton John in Grease, we had a couple Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in Pretty Woman, Leonardo Dicarpio and Kate Winslet in Titantic, and now we have Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

We will see them in other projects like The Runaways, Welcome to the Rileys, and American Girl for Kristen

But I look forward to this movie, because it looks like they did a much better job then twilight, not that it wasn't a good movie, if you know the story. But NM looks amazing I wish I could be strong and not watch the clips. As for the senses I want to see. The kiss after she tells him she still loves him and the kiss before the vote when she really does beleive that he loves her. I hope they are in the movie.
