Look, while I get your point, no need to be rude. And I certainly know that not all brazilians go overboard! It IS understandable to get excited to see them since other countries might not be as used to it as the U.S. especially certain cities. Glad you folks got to see them, and it's perfectly cool to see them and be excited, it's just an issue of safety for them. The fans were VERY close and Kristen looks like she nearly got trampled.

I think there was a time and place about a year ago that it was ok to walk up to one of the castmembers and get a picture or an autograph, like when H2B did it, but things have gotten so out of hand now, that I would feel way too invasive to do it.

If I were to see any of them, I would just get a good look and appreciate the fact that I saw them, instead of making them uncomfortable.

Yeah, I am another brazilian fan here, shocked with this video.

I know that this people just wanted to be near of them, take pictures, maybe get a autograph and everyone is happy because they are here ( what nobody thought that was going to happen) but this don´t justify this madness.

Yeah I agree with you. It just seems cheesy if they actually released a statement saying that they're together.

That's the one thing I dislike about magazines. The interviews are always done months before the issue is released. Everything has changed between now and then.

They're hyping it up so that people watch it on monday, kinda like what ET was doing to us during NM filming.

i didnt watch the video of tay/tay being molded by the papz & i should have done the same to this one. thats intense. i know they dont travel 2 different countries as much so therefore our opportunity 2 see them are more higher than their's but..they literally all went into attack mode it was as if someone in the crowd was like "NOW!"
ya know, i never understood why celebs cant travel by private jets? (all celebs not just them) but obviously its not that easy bc its not like they dont have the money

Exactly. They're all kids and have this tremendous pressure on them and they're handling it very well, with such maturity and class and they're not buckling underneath the pressure either. Gosh, the interviews this month are gonna be really painful.

Oh man, the description of Kristen's and Taylor's workload over the next couple of days is mindboggling. Press conferences. Photoshoots. No cameras here no questions there. So confusing.

I agree 100%. The good news, though, is Kristen and Taylor weren't phased too much by the madness. They smiled and waved goodbye to all the fans once they got through them. Security was stopping a couple of fans at the pool area of the hotel, but Kristen told security to let them come close. She took pics with them and the fans say she was really nice, and tired but didn't want to miss anything.

It's so good to know the cast is great to the fans. You'd think this would prompt the fans to give them space when necessary.

I just don't understand how fans can't understand how crazy they seem, why they can't give them room and act like normal people and just put themselves in their shoes for a little bit, you know?

Yes, agreed. The bodyguards are good, to protect them, but it is still crazy. Why were all those people allowed to hang outside wherever they were coming out of in the airport? Didn't security or anyone who works at the airport notice? Shouldn't the airport be informed? I mean, maybe it is a lot more complicated to figure out security than that, I really don't know that much about it....

But whatever happened, I feel bad for them. They are exhausted, they have along promotional tour ahead of them, and it cannot be easy to go from place to place, with different time zones, going from interview to interview, being followed by fans and paparazzi, etc. Just thinking about what they go through gives me a headache. I know that they (at least Kisten and Rob) are making $mill, but that doesn't mean this is deserved, rational, etc.

Whatever, I am spending way too much energy trying to figure out these fans and how they don't seem to be able to SEE their crazy behavior. They are embarrassing themselves, and making these promotional tours even more tiring for their so called "beloved cast of Twilight".

Not at all too harsh. It's completely true, and I wish every crazy fan would take note of that. The things the cast goes through makes me appreciate them even more. Summit knows NM will do well on its own, they really don't have to do THIS much promotion.

Personally I think the mall tour is a bit much. It was understandable in Twilight because even though there was a fanbase, a lot of people (myself included) had no clue about it. They needed to do a lot of promotion to help with the premiere. But everyone is well aware of the saga by now. New Moon is going to be a success regardless. A few TV interviews and photoshoots are enough. They need their rest!

Yeah, I didn't even think about that. That's totally true - for New Moon this is unnecessary, whereas for Twilight it probably did good things to build the fan base. Also, a lot of the time, the interviews cover the exact same stuff, very repetitive. (Not that I am complaining, just appreciating that the cast goes through this)

Also, I am having a conversation on another discussion board about whether or not they have released too much of the film... someone commented and said that their friend did math with all the clips and photos that have been released and that 40 percent of the film has already been shown to us fans... lol. I am wondering what kind of math that is. Do you believe that, that 40 percent of the film is ruined? (Because I don't). I believe that they have shown too much, and I would like the clips to stop, but 40 percent??? Really?

40 percent, really?! Wow, I doubt that. Most of the spoilers they've shown have been just extended clips of scenes they've previously showed through trailers. My only issue is their choice of spoilers. I wish they'd show more insignificant scenes, not the big things like the breakup, the reunion, and the fight at the end. Those are the clips I've refused to watch.

I also have a feeling they are only showing us clips that are true to the book. Whether we like it or not, I'm pretty sure there are scenes that aren't true to the book in the movie, and they could be avoiding showing us those for fear of our complaints. Like in Twilight, they never showed spoiler clips of the field trip.

I think at most, we've probably scene 20 percent of the movie.

And I agree, about them probably only showing scenes that are faithful. I do think some of them haven't been faithful though, like the Bella hitting Paul scene. I liked it, but I don't think it was exactly like the book.

I don't mind them changing some stuff from the book, as long as it works and does good things for character development/the general story. In Twilight, I just felt a lot of things didn't work. I didn't like the field trip scene, and some of the other stuff that was added, like the diner scenes with Bella/Charlie. I feel like a HUGE Part of the story is how Bella cooks for her dad, so ... I don't know why they put the diner scenes in, besides the fact that it moved along the nomad vampire story.

I'm not sure what kind of math it is either tbh, haha. I was just going over things I remember from the book and kind of estimating. We've probably seen no more than 10 or 15 minutes. One thing I'm really glad they changed was the Volturi fight. I'm really looking forward to that. I've only read NM twice since it's so heartbreaking for me to read, so I'm really fuzzy on all the wolf stuff like bella hitting paul. I don't know if that happened, but I'm pretty sure it didn't. I think she would have broke her hand like she did when she hit Jacob.

As long as the changes, like the fight at the end, are made for the better then I'm okay with it. I too was so disappointed Bella didn't cook for Charlie in Twilight. She mentions it in nearly every chapter...I don't get how they could leave that out? ...Or even why they'd want to. I also wanted them to show Bella and Edward eating together in the cafeteria, getting to know one another. And like most people, I do wish the meadow scene would've been the first place they kissed like in the book. It would have made it more significant, especially when Bella goes back to it in New Moon. I feel like people who haven't read the book won't fully understand the significance of the meadow.
