Once upon a time there was a theatre named AMC and they came up with this amazing idea to make a little money, and to make the Twilight fans happy. They called it, "A double featureee". Anyways, fans from all over flocked to get not only their New Moon ticket, but their Twilight ticket as well. Now, you couldn't just allow them to have their moment, rather you released a press statement claiming it was your idea, and only with your permission can AMC do this. You may think I am just another "dumb kid", when in reality my family works pretty high up in the movie business and I know exactly what you're doing. You are, and always will be, Scummit no matter how many Twilight Saga movies you make.

I bought my NM tix the day they went on sale in my area & plan on having a party & watching Twilight b4 NM at my house. We plan on getting 2 the theater at around 10pm, but now I am worried that the people seeing Twilight will get all the good seats!!!!!!!!!!
Shouldn't they have 2 leave the theater so they can clean up? Then all those folks will have 2 get in line w/ us. I'm gonna b pissed if they get 2 stay in the theater & we have 2 fight over good seats 2 c NM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay fine. but THEN! I talked to another employee who is like an "assistant manager" or whatever, and he said...

"It is a concrete policy that we have to escort all guests out of the theatre after each show. It is a liability of ours to clean the theatre, plus everyones ticket needs to be checked for the second show."

SOOOO my advice, is to get into the theatre that is NOT showing twilight. I am going and exchanging my tickets to get into the other room so that I can show up at 8 or 9, line up and be done with it.

I called my Edwards Cinema in Southern California, this theater has it playing in like 11 theaters...and Twilight in one so far. I talked to a girl, who verified with the manager that those of us in Twilight will remain in the same theater to watch New Moon, OR if we had to leave for them to clean we would be allowed back in BEFORE those waiting in line for New Moon.
But My guess is that they will be allowing NM People lining up access to the other theaters by 11pm. And Twilight wont get done with til about 1115 after previews, so it wont be an issue. We are going 2 hours early to line up for Twilight.

I know at Harkin's Theaters they are offering the marathon on the BIGGEST screens on the Cine Capri. I already have my tickets! The sound system in the Cine Capri makes the seats shake... and the music and sound effects sound so perfect - there's tons of speakers. My boyfriend and I will only go to Harkin's. Amc's screens are not that big and there is an echo in the theaters. And Harkin's is also showing it on some of their other screens IN DIGITAL PROJECTION - Woo hoo! I'm going to have to go back a second time to see it in digital. I talked to the manager at Tempe Marketplace (totally cool chick) and they're also offering New Moon at midnight by itself on Nov. 19 in other auditoriums too, so you don't HAVE to see Twilight marathon to get good seats at Harkin's - but it's just a few dollars more, so I'd rather see Twilight and NM on a crazy-gigantic screen with big sound rather than my TV at home. It's going to be a big party!

I still can't get any info if they will be having a midnight show. So we will go on the 19th and get a hotel and party before going. It would be fun to see both Twilight and New Moon together. Check your Fandango listings - at least that's what I did. We have one theater in my city that will play twilight at 9:00 and then the midnight release after that. It's tempting but I promised my daughter I would go with her and there's no way she could stay up that late on a school night (she's 12) - even though I could have enough coffee in the morning to keep me awake through work.
Hmmm.... tempting - I could leave her at home, go watch both movies, then go back Friday night with her as planned. That would be lots of coffee plus a Red Bull or 2 after work!

Yea i found out last week that the theatre's around here are doing that. I wasn't going to go to the midnight showing at first, but now that i thought about it, i think that i would be too preoccupied to focus on anything else during the day if i didn't.

Ummm...check your theater because when I went to get my Twilight tix yesterday they said that even though Twi is showing in the exact SAME theater that I already have my NM tix for that when Twi ends around 11:30 that I have to get into the back of the line to go back in for NM. WTF?! That is ridiculous. So a bunch of us are boycotting because we are being punished for seeing Twi first it feels like. Bull crap!!!

I found out that a theater in my town is showing Twilight before the midnight premiere.. I was so freaking excited when I found that out.. although I don't know if I'll be going to see it.. it's hard enought right now to find people in the area that don't mind watching a movie full of screaming girls!

Haven't decided yet if I want to take part in this. I am going to the midnight showing and they are showing twilight at 9:00 before that. I think I will watch it at home, then go to NM!

My theatre is showing it in 2 rooms... and here is the deal.

If you go see Twilight you don't have to get up, they literally said to me...
"We will just clean around you. It's going to be like any other double feature. You don't have to leave if you dont want to..

Okay fine. but THEN! I talked to another employee who is like an "assistant manager" or whatever, and he said...

"It is a concrete policy that we have to escort all guests out of the theatre after each show. It is a liability of ours to clean the theatre, plus everyones ticket needs to be checked for the second show."

SOOOO my advice, is to get into the theatre that is NOT showing twilight. I am going and exchanging my tickets to get into the other room so that I can show up at 8 or 9, line up and be done with it.

I think I'll just stand in "line" for New Moon and watch Twilight for free on my ipod since I have to movie on my ipod. I just hope the theater showing NM here is a little more organized than it was for HP6. I stood in like for like 2 hours only to have the line not matter.

Some movies theatres will be re-screening Twilight before they premiere New Moon.
For example, at my theatre, I will be watching Twilight at 9.30pm Wednesday Nov 18. When it finishes there will be about a half hour break before I go back into the theatre to see New Moon at 12.01am Thursday Nov 19.
Make sense? You'll have to check your local movie theatre.

We've had Twilight re-screenings advertised & selling here for weeks!

Even though I've seen Twilight more times than I'd care to admit (yes, even to other crazy fans here, lol) I never got to see it in a cinema--can't wait! 9.30pm screening, half hour break, then NM at 12.01am...... Whoo-hoo!!!! LOL

In the U.S. Phoenix Theatres and all of their branches will be showing Twilight at 9 p.m. and then New Moon at 12:01. They have locations in Virginia, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio and Tennessee.

I want my own private screening of both movies. That way I don't have to endure all the teeny boppers squeals and screams.

The Cinemark by my house is playing Twilight at 9pm for $5, but I am going to watch the commentary version at home in the afternoon, then I am going up the theater about 11pm for the 12:05 NM showing. There are 2 theaters showing NM @ midnight. The one for 12:01 was completely sold out. All I ask is that I can hear the movie over screaming fangirls. Of course, I am going again with my BFF Monday afternoon when it should be a bit more civilized......i hope

I really want to see twilight on the big screen because I never have. (I rented it earlier this year) But I'm confused. I don't want to sit and watch Twilight til 11pm, then have to exit the theater and get in an already formed line to see the midnight showing of New Moon...that'll just get me a bad seat. I can just watch it at home and kick myself for not watching Twilight back in nov 08.

My theater has it, but I wouldn't pay to go see Twilight again. I didn't even pay to see it the first time. I waited until someone had it on DVD, lol. (Twilight was the least favorite of the books and therefor will most likely be my least favorite of the movies.)

Ummm... no. Still boycotting Summit, and this kind of attempt to keep bleeding as much money as possible out of Twilight fans is kinda gross.

it seems they have copied that belgian event. Belgian fans can watch Twilight at november 18th (10pm) and new moon at november 19th (at midnight)
