I'm sorry, but on this I hold firm and will not kowtow to make nice with people that disagree. Twilight was an epic fail...the only thing they got right was the casting and maybe a handful of tiny parts:
1. When Bella apologizes to Mike when she hits him with the ball...the hand gesture Mike does and the facial expression was perfect.
2. The La Push, baby, La Push part in the cafeteria - especially when Bella says she'll go if he stops saying that.
3. When Tyler throws licorice at Bella and she shakes her book at him - the way she squints up her face was adorable.
4. The kiss scene was pretty decent...but there were way more in the book...
I can't think of any more...wow...that's so sad.

Oh ! I completely agree with you on that part, I think the only thing she seemed to get it right was the casting.

I watched the movie before reading the book, coz I wanted to know what so fascinated about it.

Heck, I could have done a better job and I know nothing about directing. I read the books first and then saw the movie on DVD. I bugged my husband for MONTHS about this movie and then when I finally saw it he said I had the saddest and most confused expression on my face throughout the entire thing. I kept saying...that wasn't in the book...that wasn't how that happened...what the eff was that? LOL!

Poor you, I probably had it easier since I knew nothing about the book after the movie....
