Oh no they didn’t! From his super smooth marble skin, to his velvety soft voice, to his cool yet tender touch, “Edward Cullen” is the name on the lips of millions of females all across the world.  MTV.com has a super cute interview with Robert Pattinson who plays the role of the most coveted vampire of them all in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

A Volvo Faux Pas?- It’s not giving anything away to say that the first time we see Edward in “New Moon,” Bella is watching him park his car in the Forks High lot. Pulling in sideways, he takes up three spaces (!) and then struts toward the camera defiantly. “Yeah,” Pattinson laughed when asked if taking up multiple spots is a dick move. “I didn’t help the situation much [with the strut], either. I always thought [parking like that] was a little strange myself.” Blaming director Chris Weitz’s instructions for the shot that was meant to make Edward look more cool than cocky, RPattz tried to defend Edward. “I think [he did it] because that was the only spot, there weren’t any other spots available,” he offered, insisting it looks better on film to drive across multiple spaces than to execute a three-point turn between parked cars. “It would be less of a dramatic entrance if I’m, like, backing up into something.”

Please Stay 100 Yards Away From Bella – A critic once called Edward“one of modern fiction’s best candidates for a restraining order,” and after watching the “New Moon” movie, it’s hard to disagree. He spies on her while she sleeps, gets angry when she sees friends he doesn’t approve of, keeps deceiving her dad — and even when they’re broken up, his apparition watches Bella’s every move. “I guess that’s what the story is about in ‘New Moon’,” RPattz admitted. “I love Charlie — Bella’s dad’s — attitude toward Edward in this one; he never gives him a break about anything, he’s just constantly saying, ‘That guy. He’s just terrible for you.’ ” Dramatically, however, Pattinson said that a court decree to stay apart wouldn’t make for a very romantic movie. “I guess the restraining order wouldn’t really be very good for anyone,” he joked. “But [Bella] could use a restraining order. I think if [Edward] wasn’t a vampire, and this was in reality, a girl’s parents would think he was an oddball.”

Love ‘Em and Leave ‘Em- Sure, there are extenuating circumstances, but here are the facts: He told Bella he loved her and in the new movie he dumps her and splits for Italy. Not cool, Eddie, not cool. “One of the main things I felt [while filming the breakup scene] was what fans think of Bella and Edward’s relationship, what that represents to them as the ideal relationship,” Rob said, admitting he felt like he was being a jerk to all the female Twilighters when he dumped Bella. “You’re breaking up the ideal relationship. I felt a lot of the weight behind that … you could really feel the audience watching as you’re doing it.”

Look here.  Jerk, Schmerk!  Edward Cullen is a God in my eyes, even when he left Bella, I didn’t think jerk came to mind.  Idiot maybe.  Crazy?  Insane?  But never jerk…excuse me while I go cool off.  Ok all jokes aside, I think it was really sweet for RPatz to humor us and even agree to breakdown Edward to us.  For the full story check out MTV.com

Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately, the entire world has caught a serious case of “Twilight Mania” MTV.com has posted a poll indicating what you the fans, have been saying all year long.

Last week, we teamed with Fandango to survey 1,457 Twilighters who had purchased tickets to “New Moon” through their service. Much like a poll in mid-October, the results are as illuminating as Edward Cullen stepping into the Italian sunlight. Here are five of the most interesting tidbits and trends.

Alice in Wonderland
Wow, Twilighters love Ashley Greene — you really love her! Proving that she’s come a long way since fans complained she was too tall for the part, Ashley won three key questions:

Q: Which “Twilight” actor is closest to the way you imagined the character when you read Stephenie Meyer’s novels? (Ashley received 47 percent.)

Q: Which “Twilight Saga” actress is the best-looking? (Ashley received 41 percent.)

Q: Which secondary “Twilight” character would you most like to see in their own spin-off movie? (Ashley’s Alice received 57 percent.)

With such overwhelming results, it sounds like Greene has won over fans and has come to embody Alice in their minds. And although a spin-off movie may be a long way off, Twilighters will undoubtedly be pleased with her expanded “New Moon” screen time.

Breaking Down “Breaking Dawn”
It’s the question on everyone’s lips these days: Who should direct the final “Twilight” movie? Out of the three series directors — Catherine Hardwicke, Chris Weitz and David Slade — Twilighters overwhelmingly want Weitz:

Q: Which of these directors would you most like to see return for “Breaking Dawn”? (Chris Weitz received 57 percent.)

“Oh, that’s sweet,” Weitz grinned when we told him about the results. “Those are Obama-like numbers! I’d say to them thank you very much, but wait until you see the movie. They’re just going on the trailers. And, of course, no one has seen David Slade’s ‘Eclipse,’ so they can’t judge fairly based on that. I’m the flavor of the month.”

Interesting notes: Forty-seven percent of fans are more excited to see “Breaking Dawn” than either “New Moon” or “Eclipse.” They are split on the topic of separating “BD” into two movies, however, with 47 percent wanting to enjoy the final flick “Harry Potter”-style, and 53 percent saying it should be only one film.

Time Out Kids Magazine has a new interview with New Moon vampire Peter Facinelli (aka Carlisle Cullen).

In the interview they discuss all things Twilight Saga related, being married to 90210 star Jennie Garth, his children, and is he Team Edward or Team Jacob -

Will Twilight fans be surprised by New Moon?
I don’t know if they’ll be surprised; I’m hoping they’ll walk out of the theater happy. I was a fan of the book and am very pleased with how the movie came out. The Cullen family isn’t featured as prominently [as in the first film]. New Moon is focused more on the werewolf side of this small town. Also, Chris Weitz directed New Moon and his vision is different from [Twilight director] Catherine Hardwicke’s. It’s not the same as Twilight, but it still has its edge.

Is the Facinelli household on Team Edward or Team Jacob?
When I asked my three-year-old what she liked about Twilight she said Edward.

How has Twilight changed you?
I’ve definitely got more people asking me to have a picture taken with them. The fan base is fantastic. They are very loyal and giving. Some people will fly in from other states just to come meet me.

Do you have a lot of moms as fans?
The fans span all ages. It’s not like more of the moms like me. They love the whole Cullen family.

How do you balance family and work? Any minute I have off, I try to get home. Last year I flew into L.A. on a Friday morning, picked up my kids from school, put up the Halloween decorations, had dinner with them and got back on a plane that night to go back to film. But it was worth every minute that I got to spend with them. I try not to go more than two weeks without seeing them even if it’s only for a day. And we also have Skype. At least we get to see each other! Sometimes we’ll even eat dinner together. I’ll be eating ramen noodles and they’ll be having a wonderful home-cooked meal.

As working actors, you and Jennie both have incredibly demanding schedules. What’s the key to your successful marriage?
We take it one day at a time. My theory: Don’t throw in the towel in a relationship if you’re having rocky times. You’re just going to have to start over with somebody else and then you’re going to have rocky times with them. Every time we’ve ridden through the rocky times, our love’s gotten deeper. At this point we’ve been together 15-odd years and I can’t imagine trading that time for somebody else.

What’s up next for you, aside from the Twilight series?
I’m filming Nurse Jackie through December. There’s the possibility of a fourth Twilight [film]. I’ve written three scripts and hopefully they’ll eventually get set up.

The generous Kristen Stewart and boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard were the celebrity ambassadors in the ’Walk to Cure Juvenile Diabetes’ charity event for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) yesterday at Dodger Stadium in LA.

The beautiful and talented Dakota Fanning (aka Jane) appears on the cover for the December/January issue of Teen Vogue.  Dakota talks about growing up in Hollywood, her friendship with Kristen Stewart and her role as Jane in New Moon.

Certainly, Dakota’s role in the Twilight sequel didn’t seem to present too much of an acting challenge. As Jane, a pint-size Volturi vampire who possesses the power to cause pain without even touching her victims, she “kind of just looked at people.” Asked how she prepared, Dakota laughs. “I wasn’t in my mirror like Zoolander, doing the Blue Steel!” she says. “The red contacts were enough.” The actress was drawn to the project for pretty much the same reason any teen would be: It sounded like fun. “I read all four Twilight books in one week. It’s such a phenomenon, and I wanted to be able to say that I was a part of it.”

Making New Moon also gave Dakota a chance to get to know Kristen Stewart before they started shooting the upcoming Runaways biopic. “We became really close,” Dakota says, “like we’d known each other for our whole lives. We talk all the time.” Their off-set friendship added a layer of peculiarity to the proceedings on the New Moon set—”I’ve never been such an evil character, and because I do know Kristen so well, being mean to her was really weird. It’s like, Sorry, dude!” But the chemistry came in handy when Dakota and Kristen played punk rockers Cherie Currie (the Runaways’ lead singer) and Joan Jett. “The relationship that Joan and Cherie have in the script is kind of the one that Kristen and I have in real life,” Dakota says—although, she clarifies, “minus the destructive part.” (In an e-mail from the Eclipse set, Kristen effusively praises her costar, writing, “Dakota is one of the most consistently moving actors I have ever worked with. I’m always better with her.”)

 We are on Chapter 14 of our countdown that means 11 more days until the release of New Moon.   Join us by reading a chapter a day together.  So in order to help pass the time while we wait for New Moon to be released, I will continue to post a thread everyday for each chapter in the book, counting down the days until the official release of the film on November 20th.

Chapter 14: Family

 ”Again they reminded me of brothers, quadruplets.  Something about the way they moved almost in synchronization to stand across the road from us, the way they all had the same long, round muscles under the same red brown skin, the same cropped black hair, and the way their expressions altered at exactly the same moment.”

 Bring on the action! Finally some goodies, let’s get right to it.

• This is the first time we get to see just how bad of a temper (super hot drool worthy) Paul has(shh, don’t tell Edward I said that about Paul)
• pg. 325 Stephenie Meyer once again does an excellent job on describing the transformation of human Paul into his wolf form.  “Paul roared in outrage.  Another shudder, a convulsion, heaved through his body.  He threw his head back, a real growl tearing from between his teeth.  Paul seemed to fall forward, vibrating violently.  Halfway to the ground, there was a loud ripping noise, and the boy exploded.  Dark silver fur blew out from the boy, coalescing into a shape more than five-times his size-a massive, crouched shape, ready to spring.  The wolf’’s muzzle wrinkled back over his teeth, and another growl rolled through his colossal chest.  His dark, enraged eyes focused on me.”
• The fight scene.  Jake & Paul go at it jack! I mean they get to scrappin!
• Aren’t Jared & Embry just so forkin’ awesome?
• Pg. 329 My favorite quote from Embry: “She runs with vampires.”
• We are formally introduced to Emily Young & her awful facial scars. Emily is Sam Uley’s fiancee and Leah Clearwater’s cousin( I still can’t get over that mess…crooked eye)
• Muffins yum!
• Pg. 332 For once Bella serves up some sassiness when Emily doesn’t seem too pleased to see Bella in her kitchen.  “She stared at me, and neither half of her once beautiful face was friendly.  “So you’re the vampire girl.”  I stiffened.  “Yes.  Are you the wolf girl?”
• Pg. 333 We finally get a closer look into the loving relationship between Sam & Emily.  “The front door opened, and Sam stepped through.  “Emily,” he said, and so much love saturated his voice that I felt embarrassed, intrusive, as I watched him cross the room in one stride and take her face in his wide hands.  He leaned down and kissed the dark scars on her right cheek before he kissed her lips.” 

Umm ok ladies we all need to fly to Forks, LaPush, or whatever because it seems as if all these men are romantic.(cools down with a fan)  Now back to Paul, was all that really necessary?  Okay I get it you’re ticked off that Bella knows the secret, but to get so enraged, turn in to a wolf, then spring to attack her?  Like really was Paul about to kill Charlie’s only daughter?  It should never be that serious in my opinion. 

Now the secret is out.  Everybody knows about everybody.  There are no more secrets, now the drama can begin. What are your thoughts or feelings on this chapter? Also if anyone has any good theories, you know I’m always ready to hear them lol.
