Eclipse star Robert Pattinson has the new film coming Remember Me coming out in March February of 2010, which he filmed in the break between the filming of New Moon and Eclipse.
Moon from Letters to Twilight was lucky enough to attend an exclusive pre-screening of a rough cut of Remember Me, and she has a detailed look at what to expect from Rob’s new film. Warning: some minor spoilers are included in this write-up. Highlights include:
I said it on Twitter and I’ll say it again: “holy sex scenes batman.” Um, wow. I think the men in the audience probably felt uncomfortable (or turned on) by the group moans and sighs all the women let out. I’ve also never been more glad Twilight doesn’t have sex scenes. THANK YOU JESUS you know my heart couldn’t handle that.
Rob and his friends banter has some really great one liners and funny moments.
Big Brother Rob is pretty much to die for. The girl who plays his sister Caroline is a star waiting to happen.
Moon summed it up by saying–
It was great seeing him play a character other than Edward! Tyler is definitely NOT Rob playing himself, though there were a few Robisms that made it endearing but I don’t think Rob is anywhere near as intense or ready to throw down like this character is. With a few more edits, fixing a few plot points and shining up the beginning and end, then droping in a killer soundtrack: this will be a really nice film.
Allociné.com interviewed Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner when they were in Paris promoting New Moon or in France it’s called Twilight Chapter 2: Temptation.
It’s another fabulous interview of the New Moon trio. They have been promoting New Moon non stop all over the world. Kristen would tell Bella to start dating Jacob. Robert says he’s Team Jacob! LOL! Taylor says “It’s tough to not like Rob.” Aw!!
According to Amazon, The Twilight Saga: New Moon The Score soundtrack by Alexandre Desplat will be released on November 20th. Mark Morton for Soundtracks Examiner recently reviewed the score.
“New Moon” is a fantastic opener, because it practically carries you to this other world, while offering hints at what to expect throughout the proceeding experience. As standard fare for Desplat involves heavily-stringed emotional outpouring, New Moon is no exception. However, he injects a serpentine quality that recalls classic vampire films from previous eras. You can definitely hear echoes of Elliot Goldenthal’s Interview with the Vampireand Wojciech Kilar’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Even flavors of John Williams’ Dracula score from 1979 add inspirational texture to Desplat’s work.

Chapter 19: Race
“We made our flight with seconds to spare. And then the true torture began. The plane sat idol on the tarmac while the flight attendants strolled-oh so casually- up and down the aisle, patting the bags in the overhead compartments to make sure everything fit. The pilots leaned out of the cockpit, chatting with them as they passed. Alice’s hand was hard on my shoulder, holding me in my seat while I bounced up and down.”
These are the parts I can’t wait to see in the movie…gosh anyone else having sleepless nights??
Pg. 425 Loves loves loves Jalice! These two are too cute. I love their phone conversation, when Alice called him from the plane(that Cullen money is super long, because we all know to make a phone call from an airplane is like $15.99u.s. per minute) Lol “Yes I promise” Her voice became pleading. “Don’t follow me. I promise, Jasper. One way or another, I’ll get out…And I love you.” Aww
Pg. 426 Alice explains her reasons for going to Volterra alone. “If there were a way that the four of us could save my brother by fighting for him, maybe it would be different. But we can’t, and Bella I can’t loose Jasper like that.” I don’t blame her one bit, this is Edward’s mess.
Pg. 428 Alice breaks down the Volturi to Bella. “There were three of them originally, Aro , Caius, and Marcus. Two females joined them over time, and the five of them make up the family. I’m not sure but, I suspect their age is what gives them the ability to live peacefully together. They are well over three thousand years old. Or maybe it’s their gifts that give them extra tolerance. Like Edward and I Aro and Marcus are…talented.”
Pg. 436 Alice talks of Bella becoming a vampire. “Actually Bella…Honestly I think it’s all gotten beyond ridiculous. I’m debating whether to just turn you myself. Did I scare you? I thought that’s what you wanted.” “I do! Oh Alice, do it now! I could help you so much-and I wouldn’t slow you down. Bite me!” “Shh! Try to be reasonable. We don’t have enough time. We have to get into Volterra tomorrow. You’d be writhering in pain for days. She made a face. “And I don’t think the passengers would react well.” Comical Alice lol
Pg. 439 The girls arrive in Italy, and Alice steals the infamous yellow Porsche!
Pg. 440 Now we all know how dry and dull Marcus is, he is so dull to the point that I get extremely bored with him, and I find it more than comical that he has a day named after him, and a celebration, lol.
Pg. 441 Alice explains Edward’s plan to expose himself in broad daylight to the people of Volterra in order to provoke the Volturi, and tells Bella where to find him. “Try not to trip…we don’t have time for a concussion today” Ahahaha

Do you think your supporting role in Twilight can result in backlash from fans of more serious fare? I understand a certain amount of backlash to something that’s really popular. I think particularly this being popular with young women, it takes a certain amount of flack. I mean, I can tell you a lot of the actors in Twilight are incredibly talented. It might be something that’s driven toward young females, but it has no bearing on anybody’s acting chops.
There’s a picture online of Robert Pattinson kissing you. Do people tease you about that? I have seen fans comment on places that post them, but no one in person has ever said anything but nice things to me about being in Twilight. The fans, when you are removed from them and they’re on the internet, can seem a little scary and overwhelming. Even at the premiere, which was loud and massive and crazy, once you got up to the fans to start signing stuff, they were really warm and respectful.
Is that part of your job a source of anxiety? Premieres are always interesting. Every time I sort of convince myself that it’s going to be fun, I get a little nervous right beforehand even though it’s coming from a good place. Having that much energy thrown at you is really intense and just a little jarring.
Can you even begin to fathom what Rob is going through? Yeah, I went Comic-Con and I have never seen anything like it. For whatever reason Rob and Twilight kind of flipped the switch in people’s heads, and all they can do is scream. It is really intense but I kind of wanted to see what it was like for myself. I kind of needed to know first-hand because I’d seen these videos from the first Comic-Con they did. I just figured it was a once in a lifetime kind of thing, so I had to see for myself. And it was every bit as intense and terrifying as I thought it was going to be.
Erm, kissing? If that’s a kiss from Rob, then YES please!! I want one or two or three from Rob! LOL!
Watch out for Anna. I expect great things from this young actress in the future.
Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer sat down with Oprah Winfrey yesterday for her only interview during the New Moon whirlwind of interviews. Above are 2 videos from the interview with Stephenie.
In the interview Stephenie discusses how she wrote Twilight, what effect it had on her marriage while writing it, and how happy she is with Kristen and Rob as Bella and Edward. She also reveals a secret to us that her mother is to thank for why New Moon ended the way it did -
Stephenie says there is one secret she’s never revealed before. “There was a different ending to New Moon originally,” she says. “It was a much quieter book. It was very much all in Bella’s head.”
Stephenie says fans have her mother to thank for New Moon’s current dramatic ending. “My mom’s like: ‘You know, Stephenie, maybe a little more action at the end would be a good idea. Maybe you need that,’” Stephenie says. “And she was right, as usual.”
Her mother’s suggestion prompted Stephenie to introduce the Volturi, an all-powerful coven of vampires living in Italy, sooner than she’d planned. “That’s kind of my favorite part now, and it’s there because my mom told me it would be better that way.”
There is also another video of Stephenie on Oprah’s website. Where she discusses writing more novels for the Twilight Saga. Saying that Bella and Edward’s story after Breaking Dawn is in her head, and she knows how it plays out. However, she isn’t sure if she’ll continue that story or not, as she needs a break from Vampires. And would like to write 2 more TheHost books. They do ask about Midnight Sun. Stephenie is very tight lipped saying that she still isn’t sure if she’ll finish it.You can watch the video here!
