Totally in love with Buffy. I was in my teens then. My favorite episode, besides the one when she had to take the sword to Angel, so sad, was the one where no one could speak, and those FREAKY scary guys were taking over and then she screamed at the end. It's funny.. I tend to like Sam a little better than Bill, too. Hey everyone, ok so I'm watching Twilight the movie and it dawned on me that there seem to be a high amount of ppl who hate the film. I actually liked Twilight and it was the reason I read the books and became a fan. I wanted to get you all's opinion on what you disliked about it and what you liked. Thanks for your contribution!

It was just rushed. Alot of important relationship "markers" were left out, so the relationship was rushed rather than having the feeling of it build and smolder like the books. Bella and Edward were very serious throughout. Bella is very sarcastic in the book, but no so much in the movie and Edward is quite lite and funny in the books as well, but very brooding in the movie. That's all fine as long as we could have seen all sides of them. It was almost 2 dimensional. Bella's personality is relatible to most women young and old, the self doubt and the rush of first love etc. I think alot of that was lost in the translation from book to movie.

I love the movie regardless, I just fill in my own blanks with my imagination :)

I'm like you - I watched the movie then read the books. The way it was for me is I loved the movie - but being an avid reader - I just knew they had to have left out all the good stuff. It seemed they fell in love WAY too fast and I knew there was a great love story behind it all.

Everyone I have personally talked to in Savannah that read the books 1st HATED the movie and I find myself constantly trying to defend the movie. Some people just don't get it: 1. You have a 500+ page book that you want to make into a 2 hour movie - HELLO!!! You are going to loose some scenes (I do hate that they left out the blood typing - that would have shown part of their falling in love). 2. Edward is perfection, so beautiful he is godlike - hard to find an actor that exactly fits that - so get over it and accept that Rob Pattinson is the closest to perfection that Hollywood has (yes - I still know a few people who don't like Robward). 3. The special effects - they weren't great, but they were on a limited budget and did what they could. Get over it people!

Anyway - yes I loved the movie, but not near as much as I now love the books of the entire Saga, and we must never forget to give thanks to CH for the wonderful cast she provided us. They made so much money on TL, I think NM will be 100x better, they will make even more with it and I have high hopes for Eclipse (my fav) and BD.

ps- don't ever ask my opinion and expect something short! lol

I read the books before I knew their was a movie and I love Twilight I seen it like 30 times : )

I know, I own it on DVD and I never get tired of watching it. I'm sure it will be the case for all the other ones too.

I will say that there are some moments where Kristen's acting is a little cheesy but all in all I think the acting throughout the film was ok. I thought the movie could have shown more of their blossoming relationship. There is a lot that is missing from the book which I feel rushes there relationship on screen.

I love all the humor that we get to see too. Everything doesn't have to be so intense all the time. The book has these funny moments as well.
